I don't think that Ted Cruz's campaign staff are doing him any favors.

Take a moment and Google "TRUS."

Here I'll do it for you:

A transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) is an ultrasound technique that is used to view a man's prostate and surrounding tissues. The ultrasound transducer (probe) sends sound waves through the wall of the rectum into the prostate gland, which is located directly in front of the rectum.

So essentially the ad suggests that we anally probe Ted Cruz.

Which if you think about it makes perfect sense, because I am pretty sure that is where his ideas originate.

My mind reads the logo as TrussTed.

truss: to tie up (someone) tightly to prevent movement, as in trussing a turkey prior to cooking; a truss (belt) worn to contain a hernia

    1. Yes. My first thought, too. And what is with those eyebrows, frozen in the "Don't hit me" position most of the time. Maybe that should be "Don't truss me!" position.

He's trying to look trustworthy. Same look as when they tell him to look 'honest.' He just can't pull it off..too much hate inside. And Jesus is sick of being used by the Cruz cabal.

Trus, truss, or tar and feather the man; but, please, can we get him out of elected office and out of view/sound. Surely, his wife can get him a job with Goldman Sachs.

This post is about Ted the Asshole Cruz. Come back when the post is about the Sarahskank, or her whoring daughter Barstool. Also, too, why should the family member reveal herself/his self? People that have gotten the wrath of the Palins have mysteriously met their demise.

Mindy? Is that another fake name for the resident Concern Troll? MALOE is a family member, and you can't handle the truth. Sometimes you have to face reality, the Palins are LIARS. Most of Bristol's bastard babies have secret birth dates. Trig is Dylan Kolvig's son, Tristan is possibly Gino's daughter, Tripp is Levi's son, and Sailor is the mystery man's daughter, not Dakota Meyer's.

Phil Robertson at Cruz Rally: Rid the Earth of Tolerance

Noted bigot and former star of Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson, was in Iowa last Sunday showing that Ted Cruz takes a back seat to one when it comes to appalling. Speaking of the “depravity” and “perversion” of marriage equality, he said, “It is evil, it’s wicked, it’s sinful and they want us to swallow it.”

Well, actually, we don’t want you to swallow anything, though you can. It’s your right. Direct from God, so you would say. What we do want you to do is to accept that other people have the same rights you do. Nobody is forcing you to marry another man, Phil, though I’ve got to say, at this point, methinks thou doth protest too much.

Knowing the Cruz crowd loves this sort of talk, Robertson opined that, “We have to run this bunch out of Washington D.C. We have to rid the earth of them. Get them out of there.”

Well, this is a democracy, Phil. They were elected. If you want them out of there, vote them out. Though there is no way for you to vote them off the face of the earth. I’m afraid you’re going to have to put on your big boy britches and learn how to be a man and suck it up. We have to do the same thing, tolerating the existence of people like you.

It’s not like Ted Cruz didn’t know what Phil was saying. Cruz, who has since moved on to New Hampshire, where he is in third place behind Trump and Rubio, was next on stage. His reaction to this perfectly horrid behavior?

Phil Robertson, said Cruz, is “a joyful, cheerful, unapologetic voice of truth.” Joyful. That’s not the word the rest of us are looking for. It’s no wonder so many of his former Princeton classmates are horrified at the thought of Cruz being president.

Adult film company offers Ted Cruz $1 million to star in his boyhood fantasy ‘teen t*t film’

Neurologist explains why it’s hard to look at Ted Cruz’s creepy ‘unsettling’ face

...According to Cytowic, the distaste for Cruz’s face starts with his smile.

“As a neurologist it is my business to notice things out of the ordinary and probe them,” he wrote. “Senator Cruz’s countenance doesn’t shift the way I expect typical faces to move. Human faces can’t help but broadcast what we feel, what we may be thinking, and even what we may intend.”

“I have rarely, if ever, seen a conventional smile from Senator Cruz. In a natural smile the corners of the mouth go up; these muscles we can control voluntarily as well. But muscles circling the eyes are involuntary only; they make the eyes narrow, forming crow’s feet at the outside corners,” he continued. “No matter the emotional coloring of Senator Cruz’s outward rhetoric, his mouth typically tightens into the same straight line. If it deviates from this, the corners of his mouth bend down, not upwards.”

“Downturned expressions usually signal disagreeableness or disgust. But I honestly don’t know because such an expression is rare in the context of public presentations that are meant to win people over. He may well be unaware that the message of his body language is incongruent with his words,” he said before concluding, “Google ‘Ted Cruz smiling,’ and judge for yourself. For the record I am not a Democrat. I’m at a loss to verbalize what unsettles me so when I watch the freshman senator. But it leaves me cold.”

    The Price of Assholery?

It took a day or two for it to really crystallize for me. But has there ever been a candidate who not just won Iowa but won it unexpectedly and fairly decisively and yet got so little positive bump, momentum, attention or even simple human empathy because of it? The rather strong, though unstated assumption from the commentariat seems to be: Yeah, you won Iowa. Great. Good luck ever winning anywhere else.

There's been a lot of focus and pumping up of Rubio. And that's not surprising. Rubio's been kindling waiting for a spark. The press wants a new story. He's the most plausible national candidate. He genuinely did overperform in Iowa.

But there's also been a lot of talk about Trump. A lot of it negative of course or openly doubting whether the best days of his campaign are behind him. But there's also discussion of whether he can maintain his lead in New Hampshire, whether he can regain his dominance mojo, and so forth.

This Trump/Rubes chatter is supported by the latest tracking polls which show Rubio moving into second place and Trump holding his own - so far - in first. (Cruz is still close to tied with Rubio.)

But what discussion is there about Ted Cruz's chances going forward really anywhere? Seems to me there's very little.
