Feds arrest co-chair of Donald Trump's veteran coalition for participation in Bundy standoff.

Courtesy of OPB:

Federal authorities on Thursday arrested a New Hampshire man for his role in a standoff by Nevada ranchers opposed to federal control of public lands.

Gerald DeLemus, of Rochester, was named in an indictment in Nevada as a “mid-level leader” and organizer of a conspiracy to recruit, organize, train and provide support to armed men and other followers of rancher Cliven Bundy.

DeLemus, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and tea party activist, last year signed on as a member of presidential candidate Donald Trump’s New Hampshire veterans coalition. A July news release posted on Trump’s website listed DeLemus as a co-chair.

What? You mean people associated with the Donald Trump campaign are in trouble with the law?

Who could have predicted such a thing?

DeLemus was not the only person caught in the FBI's net. They also indicted and arrested thirteen others

A superseding criminal indictment was returned by the grand jury on Wednesday, March 2, and now charges a total of 19 defendants. The 14 new defendants are Melvin D. Bundy, 41, of Round Mountain, Nev., David H. Bundy, 39, of Delta, Utah, Brian D. Cavalier, 44, of Bunkerville, Nev., Blaine Cooper, 36, of Humboldt, Ariz., Gerald A. DeLemus, 61, of Rochester, N.H., Eric J. Parker, 32, of Hailey, Idaho, O. Scott Drexler, 44, of Challis, Idaho, Richard R. Lovelien, 52, of Westville, Okla., Steven A. Stewart, 36, of Hailey, Idaho, Todd C. Engel, 48, of Boundary County, Idaho, Gregory P. Burleson, 52, of Phoenix, Ariz., Joseph D. O’Shaughnessy, 43, of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Micah L. McGuire, 31, and Jason D. Woods, 30, both of Chandler, Ariz.

Twelve defendants were arrested earlier today. Two defendants, Brian D. Cavalier and Blaine Cooper, were already in federal custody in the District of Oregon.

“These indictments and subsequent arrests send an irrefutable message to the American people that our determination remains steadfast to protect them and pursue individuals who participate in violent acts of this nature,” said Special Agent in Charge Bucheit.

Wow, look at all the Bundy's. I wonder if there are any Bundy family members NOT in jail?

Gee what kind of country are we becoming when a man cannot gather a small army of heavily armed idiots to engage the federal government in a standoff?

You know besides a country of laws of course?

There are still a few Bundys not in jail. Six of them, however, ARE in jail, including Cliven Bundy's namesake, Cliven Jr. He is in jail because he could not successfully complete the terms of his probation.

There are still some mid-level terrorists out there. They are scared half to death. A lot of these people thought they were going to get away with this without suffering from any consequences. They were mistaken. A lot of them have been begging for money, but GoFundMe and most other legitimate sites won't accept pleas for money from people who have engaged in criminal activities.

Now the militia terrorists want Donald Drumpf to come out with a statement supporting them.

OT but really important - If you didn't hear Rachel Maddow last night she gave facts on 3 republican governors' states. Louisiana after 8 years of Gov. Jindal may not have funds to conduct elections & their universities, hospitals, hospice etc. are in big financial trouble. Brownback's Kansas is in dire straits with his rwing ignorance, Snyder in Michigan may not be around for the Tuesday voting if the protesters have their way, NJ is stuck with a 10 million dollar debt for Christie's legal fees for Bridgegate. AZ woman running for McCain's seat is showcasing Trump's dumb antics as reason not to vote for McCain since he is supporting Trump. Down ticket REthugs could suffer as Dems prepare similar ads to AZ Fitzpatrick's - let's hope.

Also, Ted Cruz, when in Nevada, swore to release our Federal land once he becomes president. Damn, I cannot stand that self righteous monster. He's the most dangerous of the 4 left standing, and the other 3 are pretty bad. Argh ...

After fighting foreign terrorists for so many years, we've gotten good at weeding out the domestic ones also and too.

Just the top of the pile of manure. Mr. Trump should pay their legal fees and the damage of steam rollin across the country causing chaos and criminal damage. How many people, business and public property damaged by this hateful attempt to buy America? Mr Trumpts campaign style has turned into a extreme criminal example of bully's, racism, hate, corruption, and much more.

The pile is high and deep in this crowd.

      Case in point: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/jindal-blames-obama-trump

It'd be a lot simpler for Robertorio "Bobbi*" Jindal to smile his boyish grin, glance shyly at his feet and flat out declare "Yeah, I know... I'm a total douchebag. Gotta love me!"

I want to mention something about Donald Trump - with regard to the debate last night.

Trump cancelled his speaking engagement for today - Friday.

Did anyone else notice how much makeup they had on him last night? It was way more than usual - and, it wasn't orange colored.

He received more negative confrontation in the debate last night than he ever has before. Plus, Romney was on national news yesterday, literally tearing Trump apart - calling him a liar, bully, fraud, etc. to include proof sources!

I doubt Trump has ever, in his entire life, had to stand and take the comments that were directed at him in such a negative manner.

The pressure really seemed to get to him when he proclaimed he had big fingers (actually showed us all his fingers/hands!) and defend the size of his penis as well as its workability! His manhood was attacked and he seemed to react to that more than anything else while on the debate stage! Such a fine example of a 'possible' POTUS! NOT!

He's always been respectfully handled throughout his life and if something didn't go his way, I'm sure he brought out 'someone' to handle the situation - where he never got his lily white hands dirty!

I would not be surprised at all to see, or hear, he has health issues! He is obese, appears to be flabby, out of shape, walks slowly (compare his gait to that of President Obama!)in going up or down stairs or in just walking (on a flat surface)across the floor to access a podium!

Yes, he plays golf. But, he doesn't walk the courses. He rides in a golf cart and is always photographed 'in' one! He is also likely to have golf carts on his personal property in Florida that he (and others) use for transportation around his property and area.

The negative directed at him yesterday, the pressure, his having to keep his cool, knowing nothing about so many issues that a POTUS would need to know and on and on. He is in way over his head and he knows it! Plus, he didn't seem to be at all prepared for the debate last night.

His wife appeared to be very concerned about him. I watched her facial expression while he was being interviewed AFTER last night's debate and she had a hint of anger showing.

One of the interviewers even asked Trump if he was tired (after the debate) because she seemed concerned. He said he wasn't, of course!

Possible heart attack candidate? Wouldn't surprise me at all! He's lived a 'soft' life! It was the first thing I thought of when hearing he cancelled his speaking engagement for today.

It'll be interesting to hear how his team covers the cancellation!

Drumpf cancelled his CPAC speech in favor of doing a rally in Kansas.
      Poor management! Disrespectful!

I do believe his speech in Kansas is around the same time Rubio is scheduled at CPAC. Rubio loses again!

That word "literally"—I don't think it means what you think it means. In any case, I doubt Romney is strong enough. In the old days they used to use four horses and four lengths of rope.

Please be more careful what you write. It has painful connotations for people who know the meanings of the words that you use.

The Rethugs are working overtime in Mich.

The People want Synder to resign or be impeached since the emails show he knew about the water in Flint years ago and did nothing.

However, the crybaby republicans are saying let him stay in office, he is finished anyway, the lt. gov is republican and so there is no difference.

I say too bad, they haven't been doing anything in the legislature anyway, Synder needs to go and now.

I can't wait to see what excuse the Donald comes up with this latest fiasco.

Huge congratulations to the FBI for continuing to arrest the Bundy (and associates) law breakers! Slow and steady wins the race. Just FYI, Bundy doesn't own a "ranch"--he owns a 160 acre melon FARM
