Ben Carson walks back his statement that Sarah Palin was on Trump's short list for VP. Well sorta.

So this weekend, as we all know, the Washington Post wrote an article in which Ben Carson said the following:

Carson told The Washington Post that Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), Sarah Palin and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie “are all people on our list.”

Since then literally EVERY new outlet has been having a hay day with the news.

Well put the hay down, because the fun is over.

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

On Monday morning, Carson said on CNN that he's not interested in the job himself, and dismissed the Post story as so much rubbish.

'Any name you’re going to throw out, I’ll say, "Yeah, sure",' he said on the 'New Day' program.

'That doesn’t mean they’re under consideration or that they’re on the short list.'

Sooo, does this mean that nobody can trust anything that comes out of Ben Carson's mouth.

Okay scratch that, I forgot who I was talking about.

Still the question remains is Ben Carson just the worst campaign spokesman of all time, or did Trump decide to have him walk it back after attracting all of that ridicule?

Personally I don't really think that Trump would make Palin his VP, I mean that would be insane right?

After all that would be right up there with pretending you were somebody else in order to heap praise on yourself to journa.......Oh.

By the way I would like to point out that Trump himself only publicly denied that one name was on his list.

And guess whose name it was not.

It wouldn't surprise me if he picked her because he sees women as subservient and therefore no threat. And she is desperate enough to do whatever it takes to relive 2008.

It's amazing that Sara lost an opportunity of a lifetime in 2008 because of her own stupidity.

Democrats May Get Rid Of Both Mitch McConnell And John McCain As Poll Shows Big Trouble For GOP

A new PPP poll of Arizona shows that Mitch McConnell's obstruction of President Obama may cost John McCain his Senate seat, and McConnell his Senate majority.

...Mitch McConnell has put John McCain in a nearly impossible position. Thanks to McConnell’s obstruction of President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, McCain now has to oppose hearing to win a heavily contested Republican primary, but he could lose his seat in November if he opposes hearings for Garland in the fall.

If McCain loses his seat, the Republican Senate majority is toast. To complicate matters even more, Sen. McCain is going to be saddled with the unpopular Donald Trump at the top of the ballot. It is possible that Arizona’s Hispanic voters will turn out in record numbers to vote against Trump and take McCain out in the crossfire.

The ripple effects from Senate Majority Leader McConnell’s decision to obstruct President Obama could result in Democrats killing two birds with one stone. Democrats could both send John McCain into retirement, and end McConnell’s time as Majority Leader all because McConnell couldn’t resist obstructing President Obama one last time.

McConnell is the man I've MOST disliked in the U.S. Congress during the past near eight years!

I so hope they demote his ass in November!!

He is responsible for leading our country down one horrid path in his initiating the obstruction of President Obama (which was instituted immediately after President Obama took his first oath of office!).

McConnell also created/started the massive racism we are currently watching throughout our country!

McConnell will eventually pay for his deeds - either on this earth or when he dies and goes to Hell!

He projected his evilness and led the Republican majority in Congress to massive hate - beginning in Washington D.C., throughout Kentucky and the rest of our country! The racism and obstruction of President Obama were his doing initially and it spread like wildfire and has continued through today!

He will not leave this earth unscathed and I'm sure Satan is awaiting him in Hell!

I don't know how President Obama has kept his cool with McConnell throughout his nearly completed second term! McConnell had no clue what an intelligent, deliberate thinking, calm and cool guy he was trying to harm! President Obama has literally cleaned his clock on many occasions and it was delightful seeing him reelected to a second term when McConnell tried so desperately to stop his success!

And, I suspect President Obama isn't finished yet!!! Kick his ass, Mr. President!

Trump's Possible Mafia Links Comes To Light - Is This Why He Refuses To Release His Taxes?

Why won't Trump release his taxes? This is the question dogging the candidate over the last few weeks, especially since just last week he came out and said that he refuses to do so until after the election. Rumors of paying no taxes, offshore accounts, little to no charitable donations (going against his claim that he donates A LOT) and earning significantly less than the hundreds of millions he claims have been the most accepted reasons.

The Washington Post has presented another idea - Mafia ties. Today they published an article that outlines a long and, at times, very close relationship between Trump and a former Mafia figure, Felix Sater.

That is the very base of racism and control. hypocrites. Dividing people based on skin color is the entire democratic party platform.

And yes, there are plenty of black people in the republican party. The ones that are public figures never fail to be labelled as tokens or uncle Toms by the liberals, all for having a different independent political view. How awful is that? Sooner or later the black population will start to abandon the democrats en masse, as decades of democrat policies and glad handing have failed them.

      Anonymous 2:10: Listen and learn.

Saint Ronald Reagan who is now seated on the right hand of God The Father Almighty from whence he will come to judge the quick and the dead was born and reared in Illinois. He went to California to seek his fortune.

In September 1980, after he was nominated as the Republican presidential candidate, he made a speech that set the tone for his campaign and his presidency.

QUESTION: Where did he make that speech? Did he go back home to Illinois and celebrate Mom, Middle America and Apple Pie? Or, did he make his first speech as the candidate in California, the Golden Land of Opportunity?

ANSWER: Neither. It's a trick question.

Reagan's first speech as the GOP presidential candidate was at the Neshoba County Fair, Philadelphia, Mississippi.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reagan's_Neshoba_County_Fair_%22states'_rights%22_speech

And what is special about Philadelphia, MS? It is the scene of one of the most heinous lynchings and murders of the entire civil rights era.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_civil_rights_workers'_murders

In his speech, Reagan said "I support states' rights." I'm a Southerner. When you say "states' rights" to a Southerner, you do not mean a dry, academic discussion of the 10th Amendment. No, what you mean is: "I support the right of the states to treat your n*****s any way you want without interference from Washington."

And that, Anonymous 2:10, is the GOP: Racist to the core. The following article is an excellent explanation -- caution: the article contains some long words and may make your brain ache.

Using an opinion piece written by a liberal writer, for a liberal political site, and regurgitating portions of the opinion piece in your own post, as if they were your own intellectual thoughts, simply exposes you as a follower of liberal voices and the liberal mantra that republicans are racist and democrats are not. Essentially you are nothing but another easy mark for the liberal agenda.

All one has to do is take a look at all the decades old democratic controlled urban decay cities around the US to see how well the democratic party has served the black population. It is embarrassing, it should be embarrassing to the democrats. And all you have is "blame Reagan".

McCain will do anything to get reelected. Among all the GOP sanity he can sound like the smart and reasonable one and for a moment I'll think he's okay, but he really is desperate to have that Senate seat and will say and do anything to keep it. He is unwilling to say anything that doesn't praise Palin and repeat that choosing her was such a smart decision, and he will let Trump say anything he wants to about McCain's time as a prisoner. There was that instance when he stopped a woman from calling Obama a Muslim when on the campaign trail, but even that was weak, to be honest--it was the one time anyone didn't go long with a lie but he should have been much better at handling it. Only because of that one instance do I have any ability to believe that he wouldn't sell his soul to the devil to retain that Senate seat, but in the years since the lost election he does seem so desperate to hang on and not retire, and I think he'd tolerate just about anything to keep being senator.

Carson may have been a surgeon but he is in other ways incredibly simple-minded. As much as it may at first seem that his speaking so slowly just makes him appear dumb (his slowness never seems thoughtful and deliberate and it takes all of my willpower not to turn the channel), once the words do come out of his mouth they are pretty much useless--he is always vague and uses the vocabulary of a 4th-grader and he says absolutely nothing that provides any insight and has any value. He is clearly unable to understand what it is he should and shouldn't say in terms of Trump's campaign. He has blundered in this way several times. It's pathetic. He obviously loves being in the limelight and yet he can't handle it.

If Newt Gingrich is on Donald Trump's shortlist for vice president, the former speaker of the House claimed Tuesday to not know anything about it.

"I don't have any idea how long the short list is. I think if it's 200, I'm probably on it," Gingrich told Fox News' Neil Cavuto during an interview in which the host referenced Trump's remarks last week that he had narrowed down his list of potential running mates to "five or six."

Gingrich brushed it off, remarking, "I know nothing about this stuff" and haven't talked to "anybody at the campaign about it."

"You know, I think that that's something — there's only one person who matters, and that's Donald Trump. He will decide — it's the first really big decision that will shape his presidency," Gingrich said. "I think he intends not to decide until some time in July. And I suspect people will get pretty tired speculating about it some time in the next two or three weeks."
