Not only does George Zimmerman not regret killing Trayvon Martin, he blames the teen's parents for his death. Update!

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

It wasn’t enough for George Zimmerman to kill Trayvon Martin.

In an interview with The Daily Beast this week, Zimmerman made it clear he has no remorse about shooting the 17-year-old boy to death in Sanford, Florida, and bears outright hostility for the parents whose son he took away forever.

“They didn’t raise their son right. He attacked a complete stranger and attempted to kill him,” Zimmerman said of Martin.

“Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin did everything they could to capitalize on her son’s death,” he said. “She was never a mother figure to him. Tracy Martin couldn’t have cared less about their son. He treated him like a dog without a leash.”

So not only did this POS murder this 17 year old kid, but now he is blaming the boy's parents?

For those who may have forgotten on February 26, 2012, an armed George Zimmerman confronted an unarmed 17 year old Trayvon Martin, who he incorrectly suspected of being a thief or peeping tom, and an altercation ensued. (The police dispatcher by the way had told Zimmerman NOT to approach Martin.)

During the struggle the 200 lb man claimed that he was losing the fight with the 158 lb teenager and that he feared for his life and shot the unarmed teen dead.

And apparently THAT is the fault of the boy's parents.

There are certainly a lot of contenders for the biggest asshole on the planet, but one would be hard pressed to find anybody more qualified for that title than George Zimmerman.

Update: And now it appears that he is going to be able to sell the murder weapon for a whopping $138,900. And they say crime doesn't pay.

Surprisingly low. Weapons that have kill counts are collector's items. Some of them go for millions if the death is famous & the weapon rare.

I mean, if a museum would want it, so would collectors. And there's no way a museum would pass on, say, the gun that killed JFK or the sword that beheaded Queen Anne Bolyn. (Granted, they don't buy them directly from the killer, usually, either.)

$138k isn't chump change, I suspect, but it's not exactly a high-ball figure either. Looks like the vast majority of the world has some taste left afterall.

Repeat it as many times as you like.

The police and the courts agreed, this was a justified shooting in self defense. Definitely not murder.

As loathsome a personality as GZ may be, he is spot on about the parents.

12:01-- And you know this about the parents, exactly how?

      Delete
    5. Anonymous1:39 PM

The police never charged him, as they correctly assessed the situation and recognized this as a justified shooting in self defense. So yes they did agree. How is that gullible?

12:06, GZ shot and killed TM in self defense after being jumped and attacked, with his head being pummeled into a concrete sidewalk by TM. Witness testimony and other evidence supported and agreed with GZ. Which is why he was correctly found not guilty. The feds also never found any federal crime committed. So no Federal case after the kangaroo court State case fell apart.

You can have your own opinion, you just aren't entitled to your own facts.

      To 12.01:

The Police did not agree, they arrested the man. The "Courts" did not agree, only a jury that heard his case found him not guilty. The District Attorney prosecuted him, but botched the case. About the only people who "agree" that this was a justified shooting are George Zimmerman, and the 12 jurors who heard the case. And like the OJ Simpson trial, just because the jury lets him off does not mean he didn't murder that poor kid, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, just trying to get home.

And what did his parents do that was so wrong? You obviously have a very definite bias in this, and I don't agree with it at all.

Like the OJ case, his parents could sue GZ in civil court and win big. OJ lost his civil case, and the jury there found him guilty of killing his ex wife.

    8. Anonymous1:48 PM

You go repeat it to yourself.

That trial was rigged. GZ was never on trial--the State of Florida's Stand Your Ground Law was on trial and NO WAY was a state employee like the prosecutor going to let the state lose. GZ's freedom was worth the price.

      Delete
    9. Anonymous2:03 PM

Wrong 1:45! The police released George Zimmerman without charges. He was improperly charged by a special prosecutor, overcharged actually, with scant evidence, only for political reasons after the feds and the media leaned in unethically.

The parents could sue 1:45, but they never would. As they know that all the truths about Trayvon, as well as their personal lives and failed parenting would be permitted as evidence in a civil case. And they desperately need to keep that information silent rather than ruin their false narrative. Not to mention GZ could file a counter suit, and would likely win. So there you go.

12:01 - Of course you think the OJ jury got it correct also. By the way, FWIW, at least one of the jurors was trying to finagle a book deal. The comments re: Zimmerman from some of the jurors were along the line "he just seemed like a good
guy." They had already made up their minds he was innocent and eagerly swallowed the defense BS. Gullible like you.

Claims that Martin "pummeled Zimmerman's head on the cement" are ABSOLUTE HORSESHIT and anyone who repeats such claims has no clue. The evidence proving that Martin did NOT attack Zimmerman is clear:

    1. EMS was called to the scene. Zimmerman refused to be transported to the ER.

    2. Z'man was taken to the police station where surveillance video showed him emerging from the police car. The video was introduced at trial and is all over the 'net. Front and back views of his head show NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON HIM except for a small scratch on the bridge of his nose.

In the weeks before he murdered Martin, Z'man made SIX 911 calls in which he reported a "suspicious black male." Going back to August 2004, he made FORTY-SIX such calls. Zimmerman was hunting for a black man to kill. Period.

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/22/george-zimmerman-s-history-of-911-calls-a-complete-log.html

Z'man was told by the dispatcher to not get out of his vehicle and follow Martin. He ignored the dispatcher. Zimmerman was out to murder a black man and he found one.

Also -- apparently Z'man has sold the gun for well over $100K. I have just written a letter to the IRS suggesting they check up on Z'man to make certain he pays taxes on this income. I suggest several other people do the same thing.

And ignore the trolls who tell you about poor, innocent Z'man who was set upon by an enraged, violent, skinny 17-yr-old.

Sorry, but you are full of shit. Evidence and eyewitness testimony agreed with Zimmermans version of events. Since he was a neighborhood watchman, self described or not, is it surprising that he was reporting calls to the police? Basically he was doing what a neighborhood watch person should be doing, calling the police. On the night Marting was shot, he also called the police. Do you think someone who was out to murder, would call the police? Trayvon Martin surprise attacked Zimmerman and was pounding his head into a concrete sidewalk before he was shot and killed as witnesses verified. You don't get to make up the facts old man.

    2. Anonymous10:24 PM

No, 7:01 PM, YOU don't need to make up a story. Zimmerman had a TINY scratch on the back of his head that was easily covered with a regular size bandaid. He may have had a bloody nose -- mercy me, how life-threatening! Zimmerman was a self-appointed Neighborhood Watch. Neighborhood Watch rules say not to get out of your vehicle and not to carry--both of which Zimmerman did. He knew the person responsible for recent break-ins had been caught, but he didn't care, since he has severe anger management problems. He and his wife had an argument that night, so bad that she went to spend the night with her parents, and then Zimmerman, in a fit of rage, stalked and killed an unarmed teenager. His record of hitting women and threatening others since the murder only serves to reinforce the knowledge that he has terrible anger problems.

Zimmerman's version of events is largely consistent with the statement of eyewitness Jonathan Good, a resident of one of the townhouses close to the site of the fight, and the observer closest to the confrontation and considered by police to be its most reliable eyewitness. Hearing noise outside his residence, Bachelor opened a sliding door to hear cries of "Help, help, help" and see a person wearing a dark sweatshirt on top of a person wearing a "lighter colored"--perhaps "red or white," he guessed (Zimmerman actually wore an orange zip-up sweatshirt)--"shirt or sweatshirt or whatever." Bachelor told police, "The black guy was on top" and "the guy that was on the ground under him...was definitely a lighter color." As Bachelor ran to call 9-1-1 he heard the sound of gunfire. When he looked outside again, Bachelor saw "two gentlemen with flashlights asking what was going on and the one guy that was on the bottom said I shot the other guy in self-defense."

The bullet from Zimmerman's gun penetrated Martin's chest, fatally wounding him. Officer Timothy Smith arrived at the scene less than two minutes after the shooting to find Zimmerman standing near Martin, who was face down in the grass and unresponsive. Zimmerman told Smith he shot Martin in self-defense. Smith took Zimmerman's gun and handcuffed him, noting that he was bleeding from his nose and the back of the head and that the back of his jacket was wet and covered with grass. Zimmerman was taken to the Stanford police station where he was questioned for five hours, first by Officer Singleton and then by Detective Chris Serino. Martin's body was taken to the morgue, where it was tagged as "John Doe."

In the first twenty-four hours after the shooting, in addition to subjecting Zimmerman to several hours of questioning, police photographed his injuries, collected gun residue from his hands, gave him a voice stress analysis to test the truthfulness of his assertions (he passed), and took him back to the scene of the shooting where performed a videotaped re-enactment of the incident.

      ............
The testimony of forensic pathologist Dr. Vincent Di Maio greatly strengthened the defense case. Di Maio testified that his analysis revealed that the gun was touching Martin's sweatshirt and was "two to four inches" from Martin's body when the fatal bullet was fired. This, Di Maio said, is consistent with Zimmerman's story that he was on the bottom and Martin on top straddling him, because in that position the sweatshirt would be hanging down from Martin's body a few inches. "The medical evidence is consistent with [Zimmerman's] statement," Di Maio concluded. Di Maio also described Zimmerman's head lacerations, temple wounds, and bloodied nose as "consistent with" having had his head banged into a sidewalk and being punched in the nose, as Zimmerman claimed had happened.
