As expected the conservatives are pouncing on news of the violence directed at Trump supporters in California. And guess who has taken a front seat on the bandwagon.

That link goes to some bottom feeding Breitbart wannabe, that is reporting on the happenings in California with an almost orgasmic exuberance.

FINALLY the violence is not coming from the Trump supporters, let's milk this until our hands are chaffed and swollen.

And to be honest I can't really blame them, after all this is the kind of thing that greatly undermines charges that Donald Trump incites his followers to violence, and it allows the Right Wing media to turn the whole thing back on the MSM.

It is a gift all wrapped up in a pretty pink bow.

Of course Hillary Clinton condemned the violence immediately:

Hillary Clinton unequivocally condemned the violence that erupted against Donald Trump supporters at a rally in San Jose on Thursday night — but she also accused Trump of playing no small role in instigating it.

“He set a bad example,” Clinton said in an interview on CNN. “He created an environment in which it seemed to be acceptable for someone running for president to be inciting violence, to be encouraging his supporters. Now we are seeing people who are against it respond in kind.”

“It should all stop,” she said. “It is not acceptable.”

“I just want it to end,” she said. “I don’t want to parse it. I don’t want to talk about the political implications. I want it to end.”

And to his credit Bernie Sanders did the same, kinda:

"Violence is absolutely and totally unacceptable," said Sanders, after a press conference on the jobs market with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. "If people are thinking about violence, please do not tell anybody you are a Bernie Sanders supporter, because those are not the supporters that I want."

Okay so violence is unacceptable, but if you are going to be violent at least stay quiet about being a Bernie Sanders supporter?

Well that's a little.....disappointing.

Especially since in fact some of the aggressive protesters did indeed identify themselves as supporters of Bernie Sanders. And at one point apparently even turned on each other.

Well just so there is no doubt let me just say that ANY violence perpetrated by our side is wrong headed, and it MUST come to a stop.

I understand being passionate, trust me I do.

I also understand being afraid of what a Donald Trump presidency might look like.

But if you are passionate, and you do share our fears, then do yourself a favor and do not give the other side anymore ammunition to use against us in the media.

How did I get on Nancy French's page?!?!?

  2. Anonymous2:31 PM

Bernie has a persecution complex. Every where he loses, he claims "fraud." He's going to lose Puerto Rivo tomorrow, and look what he's doing:

    1. Anonymous3:40 PM

      Go fuck yourself,Cupcake .

    2. Anonymous3:51 PM

#3:40 - you are why Bernie is #losing.

    3. Anonymous3:52 PM

      re:Puerto Rico
Polls are only open for 7 hours 8:00-3:00. The number of polling places was reduced from 1500-432. Note in 2008 there were over 2000 polling places. There is a local election going on and the polling places are different for the Democratic election and local election (WTF). Polling location lists have been changing over this past week, making it difficult to figure out where to go.
There are 200,000 registered college students in Puerto Rico that may not be interested in local elections or are interested in Sanders could gain an advantage over the everyday voters who would vote with party lines (Clinton) but don't want to go through the hassle of voting at two different locations.
      It's a clusterfuck over there...

    4. Anonymous3:55 PM

Bernie peeps- last 2 days to phone bank. Remember, no campaign wins only through rallies. That's a Trump mistake. Talk directly one on one to voters! Last chance!

    5. Anonymous6:18 PM

Doesn't matter, we're writing Bernie in. Not that he'll win but we are sure as hell not voting for Hillary.

    6. Anonymous6:50 PM

      Susan, is that you?

    7. Anonymous9:59 AM

      Second that, 6:18.

  3. Anonymous2:45 PM

I am waiting to hear Sarah Palin, the great sport, give her tribute to Muhammad Ali.
Laila Ali knew the family when she worked on a television show.

    1. Anonymous3:21 PM

Ali lived in Phoenix at one time. Could have been a neighbor of the Palins.

    2. Anonymous4:12 PM

I thought the Palins were racist assholes. Remember, when Todd was in high school and created trouble with a black student?

Plus, wasn't the idiot, Sarah, the one that yelled racist commentary when Obama was running for office the first time?

And, they were friends w/Laila Ali? I seriously doubt it! Friends? Who would be a friend of any of the Palins, be they white, yellow, brown or black?

Would be fun asking Laila Ali about the Palins!!

    3. Anonymous6:19 PM

Todd's got a lot of Native in him, he has no room to denigrate any other non-whites.

    4. Anonymous8:50 PM

6:19 PM Whites have no room to denigrate non-whites.

  4. No doubt there are agitators among the peaceful protesters, and shame on them. There's no place for that behavior.

An MSNBC News reporter said yesterday that he spoke with some of them & they've been traveling from town to town agitating. How are they paying for that?

But, I wonder how many are paid provacateers. Nixon played this game during the Vietnam Nam protests. He was worried that America would begin to side with them. Nixon wanted to demonize the peaceful protesters by getting violent.

So, how many paid goons are out there? That blond woman who was being bullied I think is a shill. Any other person would have been frightened to some extent. It's a natural response. Instead she made it a point to remain there (she could've entered the building). She smiled, she laughed. She twirled around to show off her Trump shirt .... all while a group of "bullies" harassed her. That makes no fucking sense, unless she knew she wasn't in harm's way. It seemed she wanted/needed the media cameras on her.

I feel bad for the citizens & law enforcement in Cleveland & Philadelphia this summer. I bet the conventions will drain the city's coffers in peotection & cleanup.

    - sigh -

    1. Anonymous3:22 PM

I don't condone violence. I also don't know why that woman in the trump jersey taunted the crowd. You may be right that she was a plant in which case she will be on fox in 3..2..1.. so they can say "see.. both sides."

    2. Anonymous3:24 PM

Remembering the 60's it was a trick to infiltrate the peace groups with agitators. You can't always know or tell precisely what is what during intense political situations.

  5. Anonymous2:53 PM

Sanders is also pissing off folks in LA today:

    1. Anonymous3:41 PM

      Bernie, Bernie, Bernie!

  6. I learned a long time ago that most of the time conspiracy theories were unnecessary as simple greed or stupidity suffices.

That said, I assume that violence against Trump supporters is being perpetrated by Trump as part of a general ratfucking scheme.

    1. Anonymous3:28 PM

Exactly... violence against Trump supporters is being perpetrated by Trump.

That makes most sense. The great showman would think nothing about putting on a show that would twist around to his benefit.

Why is it such a big deal? Protests have been getting testy and with violence, not just this one.

This display benefits Trump the most.

    2. Anonymous10:45 AM

Liz not smart. Nor is your little friend.

  7. Anonymous2:56 PM

""Violence is absolutely and totally unacceptable," said Sanders, after a press conference on the jobs market with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. "If people are thinking about violence, please do not tell anybody you are a Bernie Sanders supporter, because those are not the supporters that I want."
What else you need from him,Gryph?
And you and Sarah have something in common.
You sang "We Shall Overcome" to your daughter over the phone and she used it in her screech.

    1. SallyinMI4:23 PM

2:56, can you not read? Bernie told them to not identify as one of his, but he never said to not commit violence, did he?

    2. Anonymous4:50 PM

    3. Anonymous5:25 PM

      @ SallyinMI 4:23 PM
"Violence is absolutely and totally unacceptable"
      Reading comprehension issue much?

  8. Sarah2:58 PM

    "We shall overcome!"

Filing a trademark on that b/c maybe there's a tv show about how real Amurricans can use the phrase to put the libtards and lamestream media back where they belong.

Also too the same phrase which my family may use when we face the haters. When birthday fun leads to missing sunglasses!

"I love my Bristol! My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you'll ever meet," Palin wrote along with several photos of her and her family. "I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids' defense of family makes my heart soar!"

Send money and buy our stuff! Let's make a dill!

    1. SallyinMI4:21 PM

"Their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate.." oh, my is that a joke? What has any Plain ever done for another human being?

    2. Anonymous4:55 PM

"Their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate.."

  9. Anonymous3:02 PM

I felt bad for the trump supporters but the read they were antagonizing the protesters while exiting the venue and behind a line of police. They didn't realize the police line ended in a few yards and then they had to face the same protesters without any barriers.

  10. The woman was stupid and caused her own trouble

  11. Anonymous3:19 PM

The conservative treehouse is a racist cesspool. -sjp

  12. Anonymous3:21 PM

    Dear Sarah Palin,
It's funny that you condemn the violence that accompanies a Trump rally when your own family has a documented history of violence. You showed up at a party in Anchorage and within minutes, most of your family was in the thick of the crowd, swinging and punching the guests and hosts. I'm not imagining anything. There is a police report and video. Then we learned that Track beat up his girl friend while drunk and waving guns around. I don't think that you should be criticizing others when you have a violence problem at home. That court case is still pending, right?

    1. Sarah4:57 PM

Why do you think we are trying to sell all our stuff? Judges and buying justice are expensive!

    2. Anonymous7:12 PM

I am sad to say that Sarah Palin has given your state of Alaska a reputation as being a bunch of hillbillies even though it's not true.

She is the most famous Alaskan out there and i wish more people could see this blog so they could realize that Palin does not represent all of Alaska. She has hurt your State, and i am from Michigan where we are no srangers to hunting or fishing. Nobody here cares if you do or not. It's like Palin has defined your state not through cultural achievements, not through education but only through hunting or fishing. She could have been promoting the cultural diversity but we all get the impression that she sticks her nose in the air at that. She needs to quit being the representative of Alaska and this is why blogs like this remain important. Because she does have a negative impact.

  13. Anonymous3:23 PM

I saw video of Trump supporters pepper-spraying protesters, said to be at the same event.

  14. This is rich from the woman who started the hate when McCain and her were running against POTUS

    1. Anonymous4:20 PM

Yes. Her crowds shouted "KILL HIM!" about Barack Obama, but she, of course, 'never heard that.'

  15. The thing is it hurts trump more when you ignore him cause he's a #whinylittlebitch stay away from his rallies and ignore him Otherwise you are just feeding into his hate

  16. Anonymous4:44 PM

It would be a lot easier to oppose all things Palin if Gryphen were not so clearly pro-Levi Johnston. I simply cannot abide that worthless redneck.

    1. Anonymous4:49 PM

Grow up!! Really, who the hell cares!

    2. Are you physically incapable of staying on topic?

    3. Anonymous8:43 PM

4:44 PM You bring up Levi and Mercede more than Gryphen does, troll. Get a clue, fool.

  17. Anonymous5:54 PM

We shall overcome? Who, the racists? Really Granny Palin, only you would you use wording from the Civil Rights Movement to support a racist.

I understand the anger of the protesters, but sinking to their level with violence is never the answer.

  18. I'm taking bets on which miracle will happen first: Donald Trump telling the truth, or, Sarah Palin speaking a coherent complete sentence.

  19. Anonymous6:26 PM

Who is famous for the phrase "We shall overcome" . Marin Luther King. Is Palin giving out her usual dog whistle? Trying to pretend religeous nuts and whites are oppressed?

That redneck idiots need to rise up to defend their stupidity because stupid peoples voices need to be heard?

So far Palin's family has made a lot of money off of being stupid. Nobody lynches stupid people just because they are white trash po dunk uneducated homophobic breeders who have nothing to contribute to society but spew hate and don't believe America is great.

If you don't think America is great right now get your dumb ass family and go live somewhere else Palin. It seems to me you have benefited by instilling fear, hell you rely on it to keep your loser family. You did not say violence is unacceptable for either side, you egged it on with that statement. Send Track he's good at solving everything with a fist.

  20. Anonymous7:45 PM

Louisville remembers a beloved neighbor, poet and singer called Muhammad Ali

  21. Anonymous8:01 PM

Terrorized? Would that be like your violent family crashed a party you weren't invited to and beat up guests?

Terrorized? Would that be like your violent son beat on his girlfriend, Jordan?

They egged them. Hardly the type of hardcore violence your family practices, right $arah?

  22. Anonymous8:13 PM

I have never posted a right wing link before (to my knowledge), but here goes:

"Red State Declares War on Breitbart over treatment of Trump supporters" -

  23. Anonymous9:18 PM

ARe you really so sure that these Bernie supporters aren't conservative?

  24. Anonymous11:10 PM

There once was a sad time when there was a lot of people here in Alaska who thought Sarah Palin was pure. Until after Cain, when she slowly showed every evil trait that we are onto big time now. She can never get back her image. It sucked how she captivated the lower 48s and then lost her popularity. Now people think bad thoughts about Alaskans. But sadly, we have alot of people like her up here. They think the are God's emmissaries and are willing to take it to the max in bigotry of every kind. It's thoroughly sickening and I wish they would stop trying to usurp the world around them under the guise of being Christians, all the while harboring these right wing agendas which I see as they want it to be 1950s again when white people did rule the U.S. despite all the oppression they were causing. No more Leave it Beaver era now get over it.

  25. Anonymous1:05 AM

Mental health professionals say Trump has classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder. One is cacheing his videos to use as examples in class.

Meanwhile the GOP is rushing to protect themselves from their nominee's latest racist rants. (Looks like Newt Gingrich will soon be out of the VP running.)

  26. Anonymous5:14 AM

Rumpster is an idiot. World stupid. He is so dumb.

  27. Anonymous9:14 AM

Sanders condemned the violence also, but yopu lie about that. Typical Clinton lies.

  28. Doesn't matter.

They'll just blame all the Bernie supporters. Ready made scapegoats.

  29. Anonymous1:55 PM

It does matter, if you care who's lying.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
