As expected the conservatives are pouncing on news of the violence directed at Trump supporters in California. And guess who has taken a front seat on the bandwagon.

That link goes to some bottom feeding Breitbart wannabe, that is reporting on the happenings in California with an almost orgasmic exuberance.

FINALLY the violence is not coming from the Trump supporters, let's milk this until our hands are chaffed and swollen.

And to be honest I can't really blame them, after all this is the kind of thing that greatly undermines charges that Donald Trump incites his followers to violence, and it allows the Right Wing media to turn the whole thing back on the MSM.

It is a gift all wrapped up in a pretty pink bow.

Of course Hillary Clinton condemned the violence immediately:

Hillary Clinton unequivocally condemned the violence that erupted against Donald Trump supporters at a rally in San Jose on Thursday night — but she also accused Trump of playing no small role in instigating it.

“He set a bad example,” Clinton said in an interview on CNN. “He created an environment in which it seemed to be acceptable for someone running for president to be inciting violence, to be encouraging his supporters. Now we are seeing people who are against it respond in kind.”

“It should all stop,” she said. “It is not acceptable.”

“I just want it to end,” she said. “I don’t want to parse it. I don’t want to talk about the political implications. I want it to end.”

And to his credit Bernie Sanders did the same, kinda:

"Violence is absolutely and totally unacceptable," said Sanders, after a press conference on the jobs market with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. "If people are thinking about violence, please do not tell anybody you are a Bernie Sanders supporter, because those are not the supporters that I want."

Okay so violence is unacceptable, but if you are going to be violent at least stay quiet about being a Bernie Sanders supporter?

Well that's a little.....disappointing.

Especially since in fact some of the aggressive protesters did indeed identify themselves as supporters of Bernie Sanders. And at one point apparently even turned on each other.

Well just so there is no doubt let me just say that ANY violence perpetrated by our side is wrong headed, and it MUST come to a stop.

I understand being passionate, trust me I do.

I also understand being afraid of what a Donald Trump presidency might look like.

But if you are passionate, and you do share our fears, then do yourself a favor and do not give the other side anymore ammunition to use against us in the media.

Bernie has a persecution complex. Every where he loses, he claims "fraud." He's going to lose Puerto Rivo tomorrow, and look what he's doing: http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/dem-primaries/282228-sanders-campaign-accuses-puerto-rico-dem-officials-of-fraud

      re:Puerto Rico
Polls are only open for 7 hours 8:00-3:00. The number of polling places was reduced from 1500-432. Note in 2008 there were over 2000 polling places. There is a local election going on and the polling places are different for the Democratic election and local election (WTF). Polling location lists have been changing over this past week, making it difficult to figure out where to go.
There are 200,000 registered college students in Puerto Rico that may not be interested in local elections or are interested in Sanders could gain an advantage over the everyday voters who would vote with party lines (Clinton) but don't want to go through the hassle of voting at two different locations.
      It's a clusterfuck over there...

I thought the Palins were racist assholes. Remember, when Todd was in high school and created trouble with a black student?

Plus, wasn't the idiot, Sarah, the one that yelled racist commentary when Obama was running for office the first time?

And, they were friends w/Laila Ali? I seriously doubt it! Friends? Who would be a friend of any of the Palins, be they white, yellow, brown or black?

Would be fun asking Laila Ali about the Palins!!

  4. No doubt there are agitators among the peaceful protesters, and shame on them. There's no place for that behavior.

An MSNBC News reporter said yesterday that he spoke with some of them & they've been traveling from town to town agitating. How are they paying for that?

But, I wonder how many are paid provacateers. Nixon played this game during the Vietnam Nam protests. He was worried that America would begin to side with them. Nixon wanted to demonize the peaceful protesters by getting violent.

So, how many paid goons are out there? That blond woman who was being bullied I think is a shill. Any other person would have been frightened to some extent. It's a natural response. Instead she made it a point to remain there (she could've entered the building). She smiled, she laughed. She twirled around to show off her Trump shirt .... all while a group of "bullies" harassed her. That makes no fucking sense, unless she knew she wasn't in harm's way. It seemed she wanted/needed the media cameras on her.

I feel bad for the citizens & law enforcement in Cleveland & Philadelphia this summer. I bet the conventions will drain the city's coffers in peotection & cleanup.

    - sigh -

      Giggles,

Remembering the 60's it was a trick to infiltrate the peace groups with agitators. You can't always know or tell precisely what is what during intense political situations.

Exactly... violence against Trump supporters is being perpetrated by Trump.

That makes most sense. The great showman would think nothing about putting on a show that would twist around to his benefit.

Why is it such a big deal? Protests have been getting testy and with violence, not just this one.

This display benefits Trump the most.

Filing a trademark on that b/c maybe there's a tv show about how real Amurricans can use the phrase to put the libtards and lamestream media back where they belong.

Also too the same phrase which my family may use when we face the haters. When birthday fun leads to missing sunglasses!

"I love my Bristol! My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you'll ever meet," Palin wrote along with several photos of her and her family. "I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids' defense of family makes my heart soar!"

    Dear Sarah Palin,
It's funny that you condemn the violence that accompanies a Trump rally when your own family has a documented history of violence. You showed up at a party in Anchorage and within minutes, most of your family was in the thick of the crowd, swinging and punching the guests and hosts. I'm not imagining anything. There is a police report and video. Then we learned that Track beat up his girl friend while drunk and waving guns around. I don't think that you should be criticizing others when you have a violence problem at home. That court case is still pending, right?

I am sad to say that Sarah Palin has given your state of Alaska a reputation as being a bunch of hillbillies even though it's not true.

She is the most famous Alaskan out there and i wish more people could see this blog so they could realize that Palin does not represent all of Alaska. She has hurt your State, and i am from Michigan where we are no srangers to hunting or fishing. Nobody here cares if you do or not. It's like Palin has defined your state not through cultural achievements, not through education but only through hunting or fishing. She could have been promoting the cultural diversity but we all get the impression that she sticks her nose in the air at that. She needs to quit being the representative of Alaska and this is why blogs like this remain important. Because she does have a negative impact.

There once was a sad time when there was a lot of people here in Alaska who thought Sarah Palin was pure. Until after Cain, when she slowly showed every evil trait that we are onto big time now. She can never get back her image. It sucked how she captivated the lower 48s and then lost her popularity. Now people think bad thoughts about Alaskans. But sadly, we have alot of people like her up here. They think the are God's emmissaries and are willing to take it to the max in bigotry of every kind. It's thoroughly sickening and I wish they would stop trying to usurp the world around them under the guise of being Christians, all the while harboring these right wing agendas which I see as they want it to be 1950s again when white people did rule the U.S. despite all the oppression they were causing. No more Leave it Beaver era now get over it.
