Chuck Todd is not even pretending to be nonpartisan anymore.

I don't know what forum ole Chuckie was watching but on the one that I saw Hillary came off as smart and prepared, while Trump came off as evasive and incoherent.

By the way Todd is not alone, somebody else also agrees with his assessment.

Gee, that's awfully similar.

This is the "presser" Todd is referring to during which Clinton tears a huge chunk out of Donald Trump:

Hillary Clinton unleashed a torrent of attacks against Donald Trump's preparedness to be commander in chief and questioned his patriotism Thursday morning, hours after an NBC forum exposed her opponent to criticism on multiple fronts.

"It is a game to him. Everything is a game. It is like he is living in his own celebrity reality TV program," Clinton said at a campaign rally in Charlotte Thursday afternoon. "You know what Donald, this is real reality, this is real people, these are real decisions that have to be made for our country."

"Last night was yet another test and Donald Trump failed yet again. We saw more evidence that he is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander in chief. He trash talked American generals," she said.

Yeah I can see why that might get Trump all riled up, but why would it agitate an actual journalist focused on the facts?

Uh, you're not talking about the Chuckster here, are you?

Chuck "not his job to inform viewers when politicians spread misinformation" Todd? That journalist?

Aren't you confusing him with Chris "It's not my job to be the truth police" Wallace?

Exactly what do these assholes think the job of a journalist is? Gee, it used to be to fact check and call a liar a liar.

    2. No, I am not confusing the two. Chuck Todd made his statement in regard to the misinformation being spread by republicans about the ACA/Obamacare.

It seems to me that it is precisely the job of journalists to "set the record straight" when a politician deliberately lies about a fact. When a GOP-er lies to a reporter about who was president when 9/11 happened or about employment rates or about healthcare access or about Congressional obstructionism, and we all know that they have lied about these things to reporters, the reporter to whom the lie was told should have immediately corrected the lie, to the person's face, and then asked why the politician had lied about easily checked facts. That would be responsible journalism.

I stopped watching Chuck Todd quite awhile ago because I thought him obviously partisan and very much anti Hillary Clinton!

Another 'announcer' that should not have the job he holds! Rachel Maddow would be much better at it!

And why I refuse to watch the debates.

I have not watched the debates in decades. My blood pressure cannot handle it. This time even my husband will not watch - between having to see and listen to Trump and having to put up with questions that will be designed to skewer Clinton, he's decided to take a rest. We'll rely on Gryphen for our updates.

Chuck Todd is on a BIG ego trip now. Don't watch him anymore.

Todd is a college dropout who went in as a French horn major, not a journalist. Never has been a journalist. Never will be. Last week they were whining because Hillary never had press conferences. Now she has had two in two days, so she must be scared of Trump? My goodness. No words.

Everyone with a Twitter account should ask Chuck if it's ethical for him to campaign for Trump.

      Great idea!!!

Sounds like Matt Lauer is getting blasted.

Maybe all these so called "journalists" need to be called out every single time they demonstrate their bias.

It certainly would show them the public is not as stupid as they think we are with their entertainment that they are trying to pass off as journalism.

Pretty telling when Keith is sacked for making a personal donation to a candidate, and Todd can actively campaign for the right night after night.

I too watched Hillary's kick ass "PRESSER" speech this morning in Charlott where she brought up how Trump talked about

    From Previous Comment:
    Trump killing terrorist families.

Then Hillary talked about the Bin Laden mission and brought up when one of our helicopters was damaged in Bin Laden's compound and had to be blown up, our soldiers gathered the women and children (terrorist families) in the compound and moved them a safe distance away from the helicopter they were about to blow up so they wouldn't be killed or hurt.

Hillary showed how our soldiers did the opposite of what Trump would have done which was to kill terrorist families.

    Proud to be an American

A local news anchor here posted a very heated opinion on his professional Facebook page concerning the Colin Kaepernick situation yesterday, which the station shared on theirs. I am not one to post on a public Facebook page, but gave him/them a piece of my mind about what being a fair and unbiased journalist means.

The likes of Todd and these types irk me to no end. Looks like Lauer got skewered in feed back as well. GOOD.

After getting cut off by Lauer repeatedly in the Forum last night, I'm glad Hillary had a press conference where Lauer would have no influence. It was an excellent press conference.

All Todd need do is grow out his hair, paint it orange, and they'd look like twins. What a damn shame he got the spot on MTP, a show that I once admired for it's integrity and fair reporting. Chuck Todd can't fill the shoes of those before him.

Remarkably, Joe Scarborough said this morning on his show that Hillary was being held to a higher standard than Trump. Go figure. Can't stand either of them.

Scarborough also complained about how Matt Lauer spent almost of a third of Hillary's time talking about e-mails instead of the military.

Good for Hillary Clinton. If the media won't face up to its responsibility in enabling Donald Trump, Putin's surrogate, then the rest of us have to. President Obama also criticized Trump's lack of qualifications for the office of the presidency in his press conference in Laos.

  15. Chuckles Todd is a joke, a yuuuge joke. His lack of erudition is quite obvious, and his partisanship is unashamedly blatant. No school of journalism would call him a journalist or use him as an example for its students. He, instead, is a cautionary tale, warning serious scholars of the dangerous depths one should never plumb! He and Matt Layer should resign in deep disgrace! They are an embarrassment! Who would put them and Walter Cronkite in the same category? No one!

We are not in high school people. Trump acts like it.

The typical bully with no substance who wants to win. This asshole praises Putin! This asshole has no idea that being President is not a game. It's a commitment, it's taking on responsibility for which he has never done. It's not reality tv. This butt head has never done the brain power in his life he hires others to do it.

He is full of himself and stupid. What kind of idiot thinks that a person who has never known a hardship in their life would make a great President just because he has never been in politics.

Personally i want someone who has experience and Hillary Clinton is that person. It's insulting to me that a candidate has a slogan of "Make America great again" We are great right now! Trump! You insult every vet with that statement. You are are the one who does not believe which makes you weak.

Never would i vote for a candidate who bacsically is saying they think America is weak. We are not weak and and only a traitor would push that shit! He thinks this is a game he wants to win on the backs of our Allies and on the backs of our soldiers who he is willing to put out there to prove he has a dick.

This is some scary shit people. We can make fun of his hair and his orangeness but we better get out and vote!

This is funny.... Chucky has actually proven again, that lmost anyone can be turned for a price. This bozo was a low-level NBC numbers guy before he was the replacment David Gregory, and he is now 180 degrees from what he used to spew. His diatribes were still un-intelligible but he at least seemed to have a code... No more... Now, he's Chump on a network becoming more like his hero everyday....
