Ted Cruz has now endorsed Donald Trump after months of animosity between to two men.

Courtesy of CNN:

Ted Cruz endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency Friday afternoon, a stunning turn of events after a contentious primary filled with nasty personal attacks and a dramatic snub at the Republican National Convention.

"After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump," Cruz wrote in a Facebook post.

"A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don't want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him."

"I am greatly honored by the endorsement of Senator Cruz," Trump said in a statement obtained by CNN. "We have fought the battle and he was a tough and brilliant opponent. I look forward to working with him for many years to come in order to make America great again."

Having a little trouble holding down my lunch here.

After all Ted Cruz is a lying conniving POS, and Donald Trump is the grand poobah of lying conniving pieces of shit.

Besides they always say that Democrats fall in love, while Republicans fall in line.

So it appears that Cruz is simply doing what numerous other GOP politicians have done before him, swallow the mouthful of shit and cower like a beaten dog in the hopes of surviving long enough to run for office again.

So I guess this no longer bothers him.
So much for standing up for you family, or for your country, or for anything else that requires integrity, courage, or a spine.

NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell said that it won't be "appealing" for Clinton to look like "the studious schoolmarm constantly saying you're wrong about that, that's a lie" in the debate, but she said that Trump "could go 90 minutes, misstating facts let's say, but looking smooth, being the performer" as long as he adopts "an acceptable new norm" of behavior rather than “bullying her.” Wife of Alan Greenspan>MY BET>HER FUCKING HUSBAND IS UP TO HIS EYEBALLS WITH THIS FUCKER DRUMPF.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if NOBODY tuned in to watch the Clinton/Trump debate on Monday? All the media is promoting the hell out of it. The debate will NOT change anyone's mind in who he/she will be voting for. Turn the TV off and stun the media by no one watching their coverage. Boycott the advertisers.

Actually Cruz stated that it was Trump's promise to nominate Mike Lee to the Supreme Court that brought him around.
IMO Cruz knows Donald is going to lose so he can say he was a loyal Republican when he wants another go at the Presidential in four years.

Good journalism--the kind that matters--requires reporters who won't back up, back down, back away or turn around when faced with efforts to intimidate them. It also requires owners and other bosses with guts, who stand by and for their reporters when the heat is on.”The foot soldiers press will continue to do it’s job, of this I, and I think Rather, have no doubt. But will “the owners and other bosses” resist the inevitable behind the scenes blandishments of their “owners and bosses” in the 1% to be “fair” to Trump?

So Drumpf is going to make America safe again but for three years his seven major hotels in US has permitted 70,000 customers to have their credit cards hacked. He did not notify the folks that their information was hacked at Trump hotels and no safety measures were implemented since it started in 2014, or at least 2014 is the first they are admitting as a beginning of the hacking.

Right now, the law leaves that decision entirely in the hands of Chief Putney. But on October 1, he will lose that power when a law signed by McCrory takes effect. HB 972 turns all police body camera and dash camera footage into personnel records, instead of public records.
Even if Chief Putney wanted to release the footage then, he would have to go to court. A judge would then have to be convinced the release of video meets one of eight standards laid out in the law, such as the release being “necessary to advance a compelling public interest.”...

Hillary Clinton Demands Answers As Trump Foreign Policy Adviser Investigated By FBI

It’s chilling to learn that U.S. intelligence officials are conducting a probe into suspected meetings between Trump’s foreign policy adviser Carter Page and members of Putin’s inner circle while in Moscow. You have to ask why he would meet with Igor Diveykin, who is believed by U.S. officials ‘to have responsibility for intelligence collected by Russian agencies about the U.S. election.’ This comes as Russian hackers continue their attempts to influence the outcome of our elections, something Trump openly invited. This is serious business and voters deserve the facts before election day.

Five Reasons Why Ted Cruz's Endorsement of Donald Trump Is Stunning

The Texas senator’s about-face risks undermining his political brand and alienating the supporters who hailed his defiant stand in Cleveland

Ted Cruz set aside his many differences with Donald Trump on Friday to endorse for president a man whom he once called a “serial philanderer,” a “pathological liar,” “utterly amoral,” and a “sniveling coward”; who insulted his wife’s looks; who insinuated Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy; who said he wouldn’t even accept his endorsement; and who for months mocked him mercilessly with a schoolyard taunt, “Lyin’ Ted.”...
