George Zimmerman gets tossed out of a cigar bar for being a racist POS. Of course being a racist POS is very in right now.

Courtesy of the New York Daily News:

George Zimmerman was kicked out of a Florida cigar bar after using racial slurs and yelling at a waitress, police said.

The former neighborhood watchman became belligerent at the Corona Cigar Co. outside Orlando, according to a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office report.

Manager Angel Benitez told the Daily News that staff asked an officer who arrived for an incident with someone else in the 33-year-old’s party to remove him after disturbances including yelling at a waitress.

“We don’t tolerate any racial or bad behavior so that’s why we trespassed him,” he said, using a term for asking the police to take someone away.

“I didn’t know you were a (racial expletive) lover” he said as he was being left out, according to WKMG.

Gee I wonder what that (racial expletive) stands for?

Actually no I don't.

Just another example of how racists are coming out into the light now that one of theirs occupies the White House.

You have to know that much of Trump's support was made up of the same people who think that not only should Zimmerman have shot Trayvon Martin, but that he should have emptied his gun into him.

And now they are going to run the country.

Ted Cruz has now endorsed Donald Trump after months of animosity between to two men.

Courtesy of CNN:

Ted Cruz endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency Friday afternoon, a stunning turn of events after a contentious primary filled with nasty personal attacks and a dramatic snub at the Republican National Convention.

"After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump," Cruz wrote in a Facebook post.

"A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don't want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him."

"I am greatly honored by the endorsement of Senator Cruz," Trump said in a statement obtained by CNN. "We have fought the battle and he was a tough and brilliant opponent. I look forward to working with him for many years to come in order to make America great again."

Having a little trouble holding down my lunch here.

After all Ted Cruz is a lying conniving POS, and Donald Trump is the grand poobah of lying conniving pieces of shit.

Besides they always say that Democrats fall in love, while Republicans fall in line.

So it appears that Cruz is simply doing what numerous other GOP politicians have done before him, swallow the mouthful of shit and cower like a beaten dog in the hopes of surviving long enough to run for office again.

So I guess this no longer bothers him.
So much for standing up for you family, or for your country, or for anything else that requires integrity, courage, or a spine.

Dakota Meyer's heartfelt plea for all of us to come together, and blame President Obama for police violence and racism.

President Obama giving Dakota Meyer the Medal of Honor.
A note from Dakota Meyer courtesy of Bristol Palin's possibly non-ghostwritten blog:

I’m tired. I’m tired of seeing my country divided and fighting itself. It has been tricked by the media and by this administration thinking that the enemy is us. Hitler used the common enemy approach prior to World War II to unite a splintered and struggling Germany. We used the common enemy of communism to unite our country for the 40 or so years that followed the end of that war. (So wait, we used Nazi tactics, and that is supposedly a good thing?) Then the wall came down and we lacked a true common enemy until September 11, 2001. (I'm going to guess that something this poorly written comes mostly from Meyer himself, with perhaps a little help with editing. But what I think he's trying to say is that we need somebody to hate in order to unite America. Which is pretty fucked up if you think about it.)

But then that faded and America was in a lull of sorts lacking unity. Then 8 years ago “Change” was brought to the White House and over the past 8 years I have seen that change. The media and the Obama administration have worked tirelessly and we are just about there now. We are not a nation as much as we have become groups of people fighting amongst one another because the enemy is us. (People standing up for their rights to be treated equally and justly is considered "fighting among ourselves?" Does Meyer think that was true during the Civil Rights marches, the rallies for women's rights, and the protests against war? You know what, he probably does.)

When did we become so ugly as a nation? Why are we ok with not being better human beings? I’m tired of watching people dying. I’ve seen too much of it. I’m tired of the anger over things that aren’t even understood. (Actually most of us DO understand it. And if you studied better so might you.)

Just stop.

We know better than to act like this. Guns are not evil. Police are not evil. It is people who have become ugly and cruel to one another. It is people who have accepted the easy way out. They’ve chosen to be afraid and angry. They’ve chosen to blame other people for their problems. It is easy to be angry and blame someone else than to take responsibility for yourself. We need to just stop. Stop blaming other people and start now making ourselves better as human beings. (Okay black folks do you hear that? You have "chosen" to be afraid and angry and all you have to do is stop being angry and just accept that you will be harassed by the police and shot dead for having a legal firearm in your possession.)

It is time to be done with being bound by a common enemy and instead be bound by the commonality that we are all Americans. I am saddened by what happened this evening and the events leading up to it. My heart and my prayers go out to the families of the officers who were shot in Dallas tonight. (But not for the young black men who were shot by the police?) This isn’t what I want to leave for my daughter when I die and I will be dammed if I am going to sit here and do nothing.

So instead of doing nothing you attack the man who awarded you the medal without which nobody would even know your fucking name?

You know Dakota is right about one thing, the violent racism DID bubble to the surface when President Obama was elected.

However he didn't cause it, he was the target of it.

And ever since the first black man was elected President, and the racists stormed out of the shadows to attack him, we are seeing more and more black and brown people refusing to stay quiet about the institutional racism which has been present since the founding of this nation, and which many white folks seem to be learning about for the first time.

That is not tearing us apart, that is educating us.

And by the way Dakota, asking people in pain to stop sharing that pain publicly because it makes you uncomfortable demonstrates to most of us that the hero who earned that medal in Afghanistan is light years away from the man who was tricked into marrying a member of the Palin family.

Now you are a puppet being used to spread ignorance in the guise of wisdom.

Now you are helping to fund attempts to stifle a family's 1st Amendment rights.

Now you are an embarrassment to all of the others before you who have worn that medal which President Obama so graciously put around your neck.

Is THAT what you want to leave for your daughter when you die?

Donald Trump assures America that as President he will be just as big of an asshole as he has been during the campaign.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

In a heated, 40-minute appearance in the lobby of Trump Tower in Manhattan, Mr. Trump dismissed a CNN reporter as “a real beauty” and an ABC reporter as “a sleaze,” and said that if he was elected president, the American public could expect a similar dynamic in the White House briefing room.

“Yes, it is,” he said. “It is going to be like this.”

I have to say that I never doubted this for one minute.

Donald Trump will always be Donald Trump no matter what job Donald Trump may have in the future.

He is an obnoxious, arrogant, thin skinned, stubby fingered vulgarian, who would do vast amounts of damage to this country if he were ever given the power to do so.

And here he is essentially admitting just that.

So for all of you diehard Bernie-bots claiming that you will NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton in the general election no matter what,  like it or not, understand it or not, accept it or not, THIS is who you are supporting in this next election.

Conservatives are now quite literally pissing on President Obama.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

The 2014 Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference is underway in Washington, D.C. and one of the fun features they have apparently included this year is the ability to pee directly on President Barack Obama’s face. That’s right, there are Obama urinal cakes in the men’s room.

Now remember this is the Faith and Freedom Coalition who describe themselves thusly:

We believe that the greatness of America lies not in the federal government but in the character of our people — the simple virtues of faith, hard work, marriage, family, personal responsibility, and helping the least among us. If we lose sight of these values, America will cease to be great.

Yes such great virtues and character these self proclaimed religious folks express don't you agree?

And exactly what kind of "real" American actually urinates on an image of their Commander-in-Chief anyhow?

So much for Chris Christie's presidential aspirations.

Sorry Republicans, but if you thought that Christie was your great white hope for 2016, you have another think coming.

The guy is a complete scumbag.

Everybody is covering this story today, but if you really want to get to the  meat of the matter there is no better place to go then to Rachel Maddow.

Chris Hayes also did a great job as well.

Rep. Steve Stockman posts most horrendous pro-gun tweet ever!

Courtesy of Talking Points Memo:

Stockman, who's a longshot candidate running in the Republican primary against Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), tweeted out a picture of a gun with a spray can that read "liberal tears." The text with the picture read: "the best gun lubricant."

I wonder if the tears of a parent who lost their child to a school shooting would work equally well as a lubricant?

You know it is very rare that I wish that somebody would get shot in the face, but I am fighting that urge right now.

Update: Just in case Stockman deletes this tweet.
