I think this tweet tells you just about everything you need to know about our President today, and the man who wants to take his place tomorrow.

Here is more courtesy of New Century Times:

On Saturday, a brave little boy with cerebral palsy was harassed and thrown out of a Trump rally. After hearing about the incident, President Obama spent his entire Sunday afternoon with the 12-year-old sensation, JJ Holmes.

Allison Holmes, JJ’s mother, told Obama that they showed up at the Trump rally in Tampa, Fla. to protest Trump’s mocking of a reporter with disabilities. Trump supporters responded by “chanting ‘U-S-A’ and pushing his wheelchair,” Alison told The Washington Post.

Kimberly DeFalco, a woman who witnessed the events at the Trump rally and spoke about it with Alison, posted on Facebook that Barak Obama and the former secretary of state are two of J.J.’s heroes. DeFalco also helped encourage the meeting between the President and JJ:

“This would be life-changing for JJ and also send powerful encouragement for all who live with disabilities and rise up despite them!” she wrote.

And so JJ did indeed get to meet his hero, and the Republican party lost yet another future voter.

I love my President. I'm going to miss him. He's so compassionate, yet still able to take a hard line when he needs to. And when history takes the long view and says he's one of the greatest US Presidents ever, if I'm alive, I'll be happy to say, "I told you so".

This boy was incredibly brave to go to the Trump rally to make his protest. That Trump has encouraged and emboldened his followers in hatred of the media and of anyone who might not agree with their "god" is truly deplorable. Trump and his followers have no respect for anyone and certainly no respect for the Constitution which allows people the right to disagree. Watching the Clinton rally on TV and it's truly a shame that America never experienced the full Obama effect due to the gridlock put up by the Republicans who vowed from day one to obstruct his presidency. They are offering the same crapola for HRC too and America! Get Out And Vote!! Change the Senate and give Hillary the opportunity to start to heal the great American divide.

The fetus was given to him by a pathologist for burial.

The church does not look kindly on priests that insult the sanctity of the altar for political purposes or use dead fetuses as political props.

This guy has been in trouble with Dolan.

"Pavone is a high-profile antiabortion activist who has clashed with leadership within the Catholic Church. In 2014, Cardinal Timothy Dolan cut ties with the priest after Dolan suggested that Pavone had stonewalled financial reform within his organization, which is based out of Staten Island."

"Pavone has had a rocky history under Catholic leadership. After Patrick Zurek was installed as bishop in Pavone’s diocese of Amarillo in 2008, Zurek wanted a full accounting of Pavone’s $10 million annual budget, which was one of the largest among antiabortion groups in the country, according to Religion News Service. In 2011, Zurek suspended his ministry, and RNS reports that Priests for Life had been badly mismanaged, running a $1.4 million deficit and failing to make certain tax filings."

I think Pavone went too far this time. He's going to be defrocked and possibly excommunicated.

If the Pope gets drawn into this, he won't be on the side of Pavone.

"A recent Washington Post/ABC News tracking poll found that 48 percent of Catholics were polling for Hillary Clinton while 44 percent favored Trump."

Steve Schmidt nails it: This election isn’t about right-left — it’s about technology displacing workers

...“I think this is the second of four really consequential global elections, the next will be the French and the German,” Schmidt explained. He noted how there is a shift in the global political climate from one where people are split down the middle as right-leaning and left-leaning, to one based on who has benefited or not from globalization.

There are those who have benefited from globalization, and those who feel they have been left behind, according to Schmidt.

“I think that’s going to be the new fault line in American politics,” Schmidt said. “And the voters, the Bernie Sanders voter and the Trump voter — like fishnetting, the fish can swing through the netting from left to right very, very easily.”

Technology and automation have replaced workers. Even in Trump la la Land if coal were mined again like in the dirty old days, it would employ a small fraction of the miners it did in the past. Progress has also changed things -- like a concern for climate change and a move to greener energy. When HRC made her comment about coal miners she was talking about moving people who've been displaced from their jobs by technology, automation and 21st century progress into new 21st century jobs through training and making sure new employment opportunities are created in those parts of the country needing them.

I wish PBO would insist that DAPL cease construction on Sioux territory and that the cops would protect and serve the water protectors(y'know, citizens?) instead of an oil corporation that donated at least half a million $$ to Donnie's campaign.
It's not just brown Native faces getting their rights flushed down the toilet either. Cyndy Coppola, an Iowan farmer and grandmother, was arrested Oct 19th on HER OWN FARM, protesting DAPL trucks delivering more pipeline to that farm. They have destroyed her farm, which was taken illegally! That is her livelihood as well as family inheritance. Iowan topsoil is some of the richest, best producing crop land we have in America, and once that topsoil is destroyed it is GONE for good. And topsoil is what grows food, people. Not subsoil.
This corporation has the protection of the federal government and all local law officers. This corporation has illegally taken Iowa farmland that was owned by a private citizen. No Trump presidency needed as it is happening in real time under an Obama presidency. This should be President Obama's victory lap. Instead.....

Sarah Palin stumps for Trump in Detroit for few supporters, hecklers

Sarah Palin at Town Pump Tavern in Detroit on Sunday, November 6.

    Kathleen Gray, Detroit Free Press
    Detroit Free Press Lansing Bureau

Sarah Palin, former Alaska Governor and Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, came to Detroit Sunday evening and predicted a "monster vote" for Trump in Michigan.

"If Trump wins, then America wins," she said during an interview with Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly that was taped at the Town Pump Tavern in Detroit. "They are hot, hot, hot for Trump in Michigan."
About a dozen supporters came to the bar for the stop, but several people walking by started pounding on the window when they noticed her. One said "I have no respect for you." And someone sprayed some sort of substance into the bar from outside that had many in the tavern momentarily coughing.

I feel glad the young boy and his mother had a contrasting experience with President Obama.

Speaking of contrasts the last rallies depicted a stark contrast. I noted Trump supporters went wild when he promised to make America "wealthy" again. Trump speaks in extreme terms and words. He does not speak of higher or college education only promising manufacturing jobs. Job training is never mentioned by him either. Nor does he speak of putting people to work building infrastructure. He comes across like the Wizard of Oz and Santa Claus that he is the only person who knows how to do this and will give his extreme egomaniacal promises to them including removing non whites. His fans are in la la Trumpland screaming lock her up.

The Clinton's and surrogates speak from reality land and of realistic goals. Also they have souls and seek better for mankind and to make a positive effect in the world.

You've summed things up perfectly. I watched and the contrast was really stark. Man, I loved how loud that NC crowd of Hillary's was on her last stop--crazy fun.

My husband and I died laughing when Ari on MSNBC talked about how Trump sounded and he used these lines from A Few Good Men: "You want me on that wall. You need me on that wall." I had just used them in telling my husband how Trumo sounded like Col. Jessup. Hilarious.

Did anyone see Melania Monday? Earlier today I caught a quick glimpse of the back of someone with long hair giving an air kiss to someone else, but I'm not sure if it was Melania.

Well fellow bloggers. We are down to the wire. By the end of this day, we shall see if our country takes a turn for the worst, and the world ends on a sad note. Or if it's carry on. I don't know how we got here but we are here. May we be blessed with peace and harmony.

      I'd appreciate less hyperbole.
Scott Walker is still a governor, and the state of Wisconsin still exists.
Granted, he's a shitty gov to be sure.
Even if Donnie gets elected, the fucking world will not end. It will go on, and I will continue to try to do good things for people.

I wonder if Scottie Nell Hughes little gaffe was related to the anti-semitic ads Trump's campaign put out in the last few days?

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/scottie-nell-hughes-mazel-tov-cocktail_us_58205c91e4b0e80b02cb01a6?section=us_politics

"Donald Trump surrogate Scottie Nell Hughes has done some memorable interviews during the presidential campaign, but a gaffe on CNN Sunday night may have been the topper.

While defending a Trump attack on Hillary Clinton supporters Jay Z and Beyoncé, she referred to Jay Z and Kanye West’s 2012 video for “No Church in the Wild,” which featured a Molotov cocktail.

Only Hughes didn’t say “Molotov cocktail.” She said “mazel tov cocktail.”"

This president makes me so proud. He's conducted himself with grace and doesn't see any barriers, real or imagined, in the humanity we all share. Who takes time out of their day to make one kid's dream come true? We take so much for granted, where people see a wheelchair with a kid in it, our President sees him as a human being FIRST and above all.
