Well you have to admit that is weird.

I mean one state sure, but all three states?

(Oops, make that four states. Sorry.)

  2. North Carolina had a bunch of ballots challenged. Big disenfranchisement of voters there.

We already know of hanky panky in Wisconsin.

As for Pennsylvania....how many used Diebold paperless machines there? We've heard rumors of those machines being set up to flip votes if it's a tight race. I still think that is why Karl Rove was so livid when Obama won. It's like Rove knew in advance what the results would be and when they weren't what he expected, he exploded.

If that doesn't sound weird - nothing does except for the fact Trump says he got the majority vote! What a jokester and embarrassment for America.

I hope he is blocked from taking the oath of office. He didn't win it and would be a horrible leader of our country!

I knew Hillary won. We were cheated out of our first woman president. We cannot let this election theft go. Trump let the cat out of the bag, by saying the election was rigged.

    CNBC-FIGHT
Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus have reportedly been growing frustrated by Conway's failure to become a team player in a transition process where the top players are forming a tight knit group around the president-elect.
Conway, responding to MSNBC via text early Monday, denied the report, saying, "It is all false. And sexist."
Conway went on to say about her role in the transition: "I [can] have any job I want. May stay outside to take the Plouffe role and run the political operation. [Trump] wants me by his side."

    2. Oooo. She better be careful. NO one is expendable in a Trump group, especially not a woman who is not his daughter and is not a 10. Not even close. She is as narcissistic as Trump. Any job she wants? Has she decided *she* wants to be Sec. of St. and Romney is in the way? If both Priebus and Bannon are against her, she's toast. They'll get rid of her once she no longer serves a purpose. She's a top notch liar and does great spin when Trump sticks his foot in it, but she is not expendable. Once she becomes more of a liability, they'll cut her loose. She'll be lucky to get her last paycheck.

FEC should require each state to recount by hand. And we the people should demand a universal ballot system, all the same, on same day, etc. The early ballot, the mail in ballot, electronic, are all open for corruption. This is a huge big lesson to Americans. Our most sacred freedom of voting was hacked and attacked. And it was rigged.

Is there still time to get a recount in these states? The Jill Stein effort seemed to be just barely making the deadlines. And why is this coming out so late? Why not sooner after the election?

I'm one of those who started thinking the Repubs were rigging the election in favor of Trump the moment Trump started protesting too much during the campaign about election rigging in Hill's favor. But I'm just a lowly citizen. And I expected the DNC, the NYT, reporters, the Nate Silvers -- the experts -- to confirm or deny. Why were they so slow?

I have been wondering this as well. Truthfully, I am angry that this is even an issue. Why weren't the voting machines and processes set up with a check/audit system in the first place? All of the elections since 2000 (and probably before that) have had suspected irregularities. We deserve fair elections!

A couple of days after the election I read where Hillary was predicted to win the popular vote by 2.2 million. At that point she was 200,000 votes ahead of Trump and yesterday I read where she hit the 2.2 million mark.

My question is: How could they accurately predict that vote tally and yet be so woefully off everywhere else?

I'm not going to go look around for sources (though I often do supply links here), but 4:20 is right. I'm in CA and naturally I was paying attention to what was being said/written about how CA and other states with votes still out was going to put Hillary so far over Trump in the pop vote, and at first they said it's be at least by 1 million. This was online and on TV.

    4. It's an approximation based on the number of uncounted absentee and provisional ballots and based on the D/R split in the states where those ballots are.

I wouldn't be surprised if they exceeded that amount as I know some Republicans voted for Hillary, accepting that Trump is not fit to be President.

This is not the exact article I read, but you can see it is dated 11/11/16 and she's ahead by 200,000 votes at that point (if yoou goto the graph which won't show here).

NYT: Hillary Clinton likely won 2 million more popular votes than Donald Trump

      Breaking News
      tags: election 2016, Electoral College

Hillary Clinton didn’t just win the popular vote. She won it by a substantial margin.

By the time all the ballots are counted, she seems likely to be ahead by more than 2 million votes and more than 1.5 percentage points, according to my Times colleague Nate Cohn. She will have won by a wider percentage margin than not only Al Gore in 2000 but also Richard Nixon in 1968 and John F. Kennedy in 1960.

These comparisons — and I know they’re painful for many people to hear — highlight a dilemma for the suddenly bereft Democratic Party.

I have no doubt that the GOP fudged the vote. What I don't understand is why the GOP cannot learn to work with all Americans. Why they cannot nominate a person who is willing or able to serve the interests of all segments of our society. Why the GOP needs to purge the voter lists of as many ordinary people as possible every four years. I don't understand why the GOP never wants to represent us all.

At this point, I am so tired to pundits writing or saying that the Democratic Party needs to "reach out" to any particular group in this country. The Republicans need to stop cheating in order to win. Plain and simple.

I checked and, wouldn't you know, all the most populous counties in those states use unverifiable electronic voting machines. So, if things don't go your way, just flip the vote at the end and no one can verify that the vote was altered.

    2. To answer the poster above, that is *WHY* they use the paperless, unverifiable system. So they can flip votes without detection.

At one point the president of Diebold said he would do anything to help Bush win. And he did.

He tried again in 2008 but the difference was too great.

I believe someone said that the opponent had to have more than a 10% lead to ensure they couldn't flip the votes undetected. This race was too close.

Lewandowski’s Lie Is Probably Preparation For Trump’s Greatest Con on Americans

Lewandowski repeated a Trump campaign lie and said: “Donald Trump won the election campaign by the largest majority since Ronald Reagan in 1984.”

...The brief truth is that in the past eight presidential elections since 1984, Donald Trump comes in at number 8 out of 8 in the popular vote and 6th out of 8 in the Electoral College vote. Add to that little bit of truth, Hillary Clinton garnered a couple of million more popular votes than dirty Don and more than any other white male candidate in history; and her lead continues to grow.

Now, it is simple to think Lewandowski and the Trump camp are lying about a “landslide victory” and a “mandate” just to stroke their megalomaniac boss’ over-inflated ego, and that may be the case. But there is another reason that makes just as much sense; the policies that Republicans and Trump will ram down the throats of the American people are highly unpopular.

Missouri showing quite a discrepancy. I had a feeling that would be the case. I think I will look for some down ticket info from my state.

Thanks for this chart, Gryphen. It bears some scrutiny.

Exit polls are used to judge the validity of elections around the world. Proper polling is done be professionals who value their reputation and source of income. The notion that all polls are useless is ridiculous. Polling public opinion is a science, one that candidates pay big money for...I find it almost impossible to believe that professional pollsters flubbed this election in so many states. I think the explanation is much more sinister.

Hillary Clinton should be taking the 'oath of office' - not the ghastly dude that keeps telling all of us he is the majority winner.

What a crock of shit, but what should we expect from him? America needs to rid themselves of him while we can! And, that means before he takes the oath in private and not outside in the public arena!

Which one of the Chief Justices will provide him the oath in secret and/or private?

I don't think there are enough secret police and cops in D.C. to cover the anti demonstrations that will become the norm with this guy!

That is why many think he'll do it all undercover because he is afraid, very afraid. He'll say he's doing it for the protection of his family members, but we all know better! Trump thinks ONLY of HIMSELF!

    Stay in your tower, Donald!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anonymous8:38 AM

Ohio is also interesting. The exit polls show Trump ahead by a tiny sliver - just 0.2%. But then the vote shows Trump up by a whopping 8.5%.

There was a link posted here a week or two ago that explained how they do the exit polls. The polls are not interviews, but rather a sheet of paper is given with the questions on it. The pollee completes it anonymously then folds it up and gives it back. So there would not be much incentive to lie on it to protect yourself from people knowing how you voted.

Okay, I've found the article and it discusses exactly the issue of exit polls versus actual results. Here it is:

The concentration of rigging was for the electoral vote. Each state had some form of issue. Odd that Wisconsin does not want to hand count after questions regarding the certification. I don't know how we can trust tampered results of any kind from any state. The riggers committed a federal felony crime that influenced our elections and it is not ok. EXPOSE THEM.
