Sarah Palin is now conducting boring interviews for Guns and Ammo?

Okay so the guy in the middle of the picture is Sgt. Dakota Meyer, who just received the U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor.

Apparently his reward for that is to be subjected to a truly banal interview by Sarah Palin.

Here are a sampling of the questions she supposedly asked:

Now that you’re out of active duty, what are your short- and long-term goals?

While you were serving our country, what was your favorite or most valuable experience?

ZZZZ. Oh sorry, nodded off there for a bit.

Of course this is Guns and Ammo, so there must be a few questions about...you know...guns and ammo.

You grew up in the outdoors and value the traditions of American sportsmen. What can we do to get others involved in the hunting, shooting and the outdoor lifestyle?

How can we get more people involved in firearms and to realize shooting them is a safe and healthy sport?

What was the first gun you ever fired and when?

"Does your daddy load your guns for you when you go hunting?"

Sorry I added that last one.

The answers to those questions are just as boring as the questions. In fact the entire "interview" feels like it was conducted by e-mail and only attributed to Palin in order to attract interest.

But here's my question.

Just how many phones does this crazy woman own?

Okay so now that Palin's fake reality show is coming to an end, and Fox News is essentially done with her, is she now down to freelancing as a reporter for whatever Right Wing magazine will give her a couple of dollars?

So how's that Mitt Romney campaign going? That badly huh?

From the Guardian:

Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney's much-heralded economic speech flopped Friday, overshadowed by a gaffe over luxury Cadillacs and his choice of an over-ambitious venue, the Detroit Lions' football field.

Romney opened himself up to derision for choosing a 70,000-seat stadium which attracted just over 1,000 people, many of them school children bussed in to help fill out the crowd, tucked into a corner of the astro-turf pitch.

(Photos courtesy of the Obama Diary.)

The small crowd underlined again his inability to draw large numbers of supporters and to excite the conservative base.

Jesus, I saw more people than that stopped alongside of the road to watch a moose strip the bark off of a tree over near the high school. Though to be fair, a moose eating bark is MUCH more entertaining than anything Mitt Romney has to say.

And THIS my friends, is the man the Republicans are very, very slowly choosing to go up against our President.

Here is some video taken by C-SPAN of the "event."

It is only seventeen seconds long so you MIGHT be able to stay awake until the end. But nobody is going to blame you if you doze off. Did you make it? Yeah me neither!

Gee I wonder how Romney's ability to draw a crowd stacks up to Obama's ability to draw a crowd?

Yep, kinda what I thought.

How's this for a change of pace? This time somebody is trying to pimp Todd Palin out.

"What do you want me to do now?"
Courtesy of the Hollywood Reporter:

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Palin and Burnett are pitching another reality series, this one more focused on Palin’s husband Todd and his career as a championship snowmobile racer. But for now, TLC owner Discovery Communications has passed, say sources. And A&E Networks, which entered into a bidding war with Discovery for Sarah Palin's Alaska, also is not interested.

So far, networks have balked at the steep asking price – Palin's Alaska went for north of $1 million an episode and sources say Burnett and Palin are asking for a similar payday for the follow-up. Mark Burnett Productions did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Another obstacle is Palin’s waning status as a cultural lightning rod. The former Alaska governor, 47, burst onto the scene as the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate with a compelling personal storyline and outspoken conservatism that made her the darling of the right and a target of the left, helping her land a $1 million annual contract with Fox News.

But she has been largely under the radar since confirming that she would not seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, as press attention has shifted to frontrunners Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and the rest. Says one network insider, “I think it’s safe to say her time has passed.”

"I think its safe to say her time has passed." That may be one of the greatest things EVER said about Sarah Palin.

It is beyond humorous that Klondike Kardashian is trying to pimp Todd for a reality show.

Todd may be one of the dullest human beings on the planet. It is more entertaining watching icicles form than watching  this waste of space do just about anything. (By the way "watching icicles form" is how Todd used to describe his sex life with Sarah. Little known fact there.)

Of course nobody wants to pick this up. Who could manage to sit through even one episode? They would have to send electric shocks into the chairs of the test audiences just to keep them lapsing into a coma.

Essentially the only thing that would make this even remotely watchable is if they doused Todd in gasoline and lit him on fire. But then what would they do for episode two?

This really speaks volumes about how desperate Sarah is to keep her name in the news. She knows that she is so completely finished that the next reasonable sized crowd she will be able to draw will be the one that shows up the on day she is indicted in federal court.  It will probably be the most joyful crowd she has ever attracted as well.

But why Todd?  Did EVERY other family member turn her down first?

You know what?  I bet they did! (Well except for Bristol of course. But even with the smartest, cutest thing to ever issue forth from a Palin (Tripp) distracting from her dullness, she still could not get anybody to watch her ridiculous program.)

I bet even Trig is too smart to let this nasty woman use him to line her own pockets and keep her name from fading into the fog of oblivion.

But Todd still has that contractual obligation doesn't he? Yep, he is still her prison bitch until he has finished serving out his time.  Essentially trapped in a marriage forged in the fires of hell.

Hey! Now THAT sounds like a great reality show!

Beige meets Off White as Tim Pawlenty injects a little...a little...well whatever is the opposite of "excitement" into the Mitt Romney campaign.

"You're just kidding that I have to wear the magic underwear right Mitt?"
Courtesy of The New York Times:

Mr. Pawlenty, the former governor of Minnesota who ended his quest for the Republican nomination last month, chose Mr. Romney over Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, whom he was close to from their years serving on the Republican Governors Association.

Many of Mr. Pawlenty’s contributors and supporters had been waiting for a signal from him in the escalating contest between Mr. Romney and Mr. Perry. And Mr. Pawlenty had been looking for help in retiring a campaign debt of at least $500,000.

In a statement announcing Mr. Pawlenty as a national co-chairman of his campaign, Mr. Romney said: “Tim will be a trusted adviser as I move forward with my campaign. Tim has always been an advocate for lower taxes, reduced spending and an environment where jobs can be created. It is an honor to have him serve as co-chair to my campaign for the presidency.”

Mr. Pawlenty, in an interview Monday morning on “Fox and Friends,” said of Mr. Romney, “I believe he’s going to be our party’s nominee.”

Oh yeah, THIS is what a campaign that has a mild mannered sofa cushion for a candidate does to reinvigorate their message.  Add the guy that restless sheep count jumping into a campaign at night to help them fall asleep.

The only way that Pawlenty could possibly make the Romney campaign more interesting is if Mitt lit him on fire and pushed him into a crowd of kerosene soaked Teabaggers. (I have to admit I would probably tune in for that.)

Of course now that Tim "Micheal Bay" Pawlenty is on board, he MIGHT be able to jazz up Romney's campaign commercials, and take them from this:

To this:

After all we know how much these advertisements helped Tim Pawlenty.

Wait that didn't come out right.
