This is by far the least engaged and laziest president we have ever had.

In some ways that might be a good thing, but we should never let the White House lie to us about how little work he is actually doing.

Speaking of licensing, did SarahPAC get Kutcher's permission to use his photo for fundraising?

 This of course dovetails with Bristol's rant about how hard she has worked from yesterday.

However I have to wonder if Palin took the time to read this statement carefully? And realizes that her work history has reflected the exact opposite of the values that Kutcher is espousing.?

For instance. Palin was a mediocre athlete at best, who has often inflated her dedication to hard work even while her fellow teammates have reported the exact opposite.

Palin went to AT LEAST five different colleges in order to get one degree. (A degree by the way that has never been proven to exist.) Which is not exactly an example of hard work and dedication.

She managed to get an extremely short lived job working with KTUU in Anchorage, on which she clearly did not work hard enough to expand into a career in broadcasting.

She was on the Wasilla City Counsel but is mostly remembered for wearing low cut tops and being "flirtatious" ("I’m gonna put on one of my push-up bras so I can get what I want tonight." Source)

As Wasilla Mayor, Palin delegated the actual work to her city manager, John Cramer. (Source.)

And as Governor, Palin was famously unprepared for her job, often went missing for days at a time, and seemed more focused on getting her picture taken and her name in the paper, rather than actually doing the job she was elected to do.

Work ethic? Don't make me laugh.

Today Palin takes credit for articles written by ghostwriters, makes paid public appearances based on her fading notoriety, and uses SarahAPC to grift money off the stupidest people on the planet, by pretending she might one day run for office or has some positive impact on American politics.

If Sarah Palin had half the work ethic that Ashton Kutcher is talking about, she might actually have done something positive with her life, and not simply allowed others to do all the work, while sitting back and taking all of the credit.

This of course is referring to the tragic shooting of a college baseball player in Oklahoma by three black youths (Correction: Two black, and one white.).

My assumption is that this is an attempt to suggest that the media went crazy over the Trayvon Marrtin shooting, but in this case that they are paying more attention to the President's new dog rather than this shooting.

That seems vaguely racist to me, and is of course completely unfair.

In the Trayvon Martin case the man responsible was not arrested at first, in this case the three young men have been arrested and all three have been charged.

As for the coverage, well a quick Google search shows that it is being covered by CBS, Fox News,  CNN, NBC, The Guardian, Huffington Post, and even Time Magazine, just to name a few. In fact many of the reports concern the lack of outrage over this shooting as opposed to the Zimmerman case, so I don't know where Palin gets her outrage from.

Oh that's right, Palin lives to demonstrate faux outrage over everything related to the "Lamestream" media and the President of the United States. How could I have forgotten?

Dancing with the Stars Open Thread. Update!

Here is Bristol recently discussing WHY she felt the need to return to the show.

Did you get that? People are going to hate her family no matter what, so why not give even more people a reason to hate her and her family?

Makes sense.

Oh by the way someone apparently slipped one of the DWTS troupe members, Sasha Farber, a fifty to tell the public that Bristol IS TOO a hard worker.

No, really!

Really, really, really!

In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, pro troupe member Sasha Farber defended Bristol’s right to be there, and gave us some behind-the-scenes scoop. When we asked about the fan backlash, and those who say she doesn’t deserve to be there, this is what he told us. 

“Everyone should be there, that's the problem. Everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages. I think Bristol should definitely be there because she tries really, really, really hard. She's always in the studio rehearsing, and they're working extra, extra hard.” 

Uh huh, I buy that. I mean after all, why would I believe what my eyes are telling me about how poorly she dances, and her obvious lack of a good work ethic in literally everything she has ever done, when this person, who I have never heard of before, is telling me the opposite?

I guess those of us who have claimed she is lazy have certainly been set straight, now haven't we?

By the way tonight's episode is just for show, so all we will see is Bristol's terrible dancing with not even the glimmer of hope that she will finally be tossed out with the trash.

Of course since the whole thing is obviously fixed her performance does not make a damn bit of difference anyhow. She will leave the show whenever her contract says she is to to leave the show, and not one painfully clumsy dance earlier.

I am beginning to think that even if she showed up and refused to do anything more than to scoot across the dance floor on her surgically trimmed down fanny the judges would STILL say that she had demonstrated improvement, and she would somehow survive yet ANOTHER round of eliminations, while a far more gifted competitor was forced off in her stead.

Actually, considering some  of her performances, scooting on her bottom MIGHT signify an improvement, now that I think about it.

Okay so today we hear from some nobody dancer that Bristol really is a hard worker, and we also see Trig and Tripp at DWTS, to prove that they are surrounded by a loving family.
Nope, nothing sounds contrived about that!

Bristol Palin hasn't tried to endear herself yet this season on Dancing With the Stars—why start now? 

She butted heads again with partner Mark Ballas, who lamented that they were dancing a "dumbed-down" rock and roll routine, "making things easier," because Bristol was refusing to try more challenging moves. 

"She needs to be open-minded, but if she isn't, it could be a challenge for us this week," said the concerned pro, who took the controversial star all the way to the semifinals in 2010.

Tell us another one DWTS "pro troupe member."

And yet Mark and Bristol still pulled 8's. It is like they are not even trying to prove that Bristol deserves to be there on her own merits anymore.
