Well right after that some complete jackass of a blogger (It was me, it was me!) predicted that Palin's endorsement would sabotage Tebow's winning streak, just like her endorsements had destroyed the careers of countless others before him. (Like John McCain, Sharon Angle, Christine O'Donnell, those turkeys that time at Thanksgiving, Bristol, Todd's manhood, etc., etc., etc..)

Anyhow I thought we would check in on Tebow's career and put any rumors to rest that Palin's endorsement is the kiss of death. Because that's just sil.....wait, what?
According to the LA Times:

Perhaps his teammates? NO - there he was bent over in his tbone tbow, his lips seemingly moving in prayer. Was he seeking divine intervention? OH, his supporters say he would never ask God to zap the other team because he's such a good Christian. So maybe he was praying for the Chargers? Perhaps he was actually talking to God, seeking His understanding of why in the hell He'd ever let Sara open her fat mouth and endorse him. Christine used God to attract people while she was scamming from donations and living off of money people thought were going to political causes, another Sarah Palin. Christine was paying for her rent and food and Sarah was paying for vacations, lawyers and we all can figure out she was supporting relatives under different LLC companies. Then there was Alaska's crooked Joe Miller, he was also tainted and lost his election.
So as much as we hate Sarah, she does serves a purpose, she weeds out the riff raffs.
The sad part about Sarah is that people die and towns are destroyed by a wave of Sarah's hand.

I have looked at those "Exodus" posts and they do sound like it's SP. I did notice a couple times this person did spell some words that made me think that they were from New Zealand/UK. Like the spelling of "behaviour" and using "s" when we would use "z". But I think Sarah certainly could be having someone doing it for her.

ReplyDeleteSee, Tebow may be easy to mock, but unlike Sarah he walks the walk. He really is a God-fearing, Jesus-loving, school-building football player. He is a great guy, according to just about everyone who has coached or played with him. I have never heard anyone who knows Tebow actually say anything bad about Tebow.
Sarah is NOTHING like Tebow!! He has worked very hard to get where he is, he is generous with his money and time, and he tends to bring the people around him together instead of alienating them one by one like someone else we know.
He won two NCAA championships for the Gators and even the rest of the fans in the SEC respected him while hating all other Gators :) You may not agree with him but he is legend in Florida for oh so many reasons ... A truly impressive young man.
I find the fundie stuff tiresome but then again it is part of who he is, and I am not surprised he was eager to take his message to a larger audience (the NFL). He probably will have to dial it back if he wants to have a long career. he'll learn.

she seems to be overly humble. i hate when people call her an attention wh*re because she is the opposite. she is so humble that she doesn't think she's presidential material. all these people want her to run and think she's better than the candidates, but she actually thinks the candidates are pretty good and she'd rather support them than run herself. humility is good but you can go overboard. she has gone way overboard on humility. it's like she doesn't have confidence in herself to be a good president. but we have confidence in her to be a good president! oh well, she disagrees.

She would rather not make an endorsement, and then if the Republican nominee in 2012 loses, then she will blame everyone else. I think the first she ever heard of him was when his displays of faith hit the news and provided her another convenient opportunity to hitchhike on the fame of another. And they would spend his summers as a kid trying to help others who were less fortunate.

If $arah Palin is humble, than why did she say that she could beat Barack Obama if she ran against him? Why did she believe she was the "real" victim after the Arizona shootings? Why do she and her family always accuse her critics of being jealous of her? Why does she only believe people like her are "real Americans?" Why does she always make everything about her? Why does she always blame everyone else for her own failures? And, why does she never do anything other than tear other people down?
Palin is just as suckish as all the other GOP candidates. She isn't running because she isn't up to the job, and can't handle the scrutiny. And, I don't know who you are talking about, but most Americans, including the majority of the republican party DO NOT want $arah Palin to run for president.
$arah Palin is a terrible media whore. She's a media whore who quit her job, so that she could become a full-time media whore, and sell books, go on irrational tirades on Fake News, appear in crappy "reality" t.v. shows, and have the stupid media chase after her bus while she pretended that she was going to run for president.
People don't like $arah Palin, and we don't want that psycho anywhere near the White House, either.
God does not watch football, basketball, baseball, hockey games, awards shows, or politicians. It was be a major job just to handicap each race, check the results with Nate Silver, takes some polls and check the odds. No, God does not take sides. That means that for all of his grandstanding, Tebow has to depend on the same thing that we all do, our own ability.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a teacher, I saw some strange marks on test papers. Another teacher explained to me that the student was invoking the protection of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Sometimes, the prayers took a certain amount of time to write on their test paper-- time that they could have spent answering another question. I gave quizzes and tests on a regular basis, and I know that God was too busy to see how those special students were doing.
With all of that being said, there is one exception to my rule of "God doesn't take sides." On election day, 2008, Sarah Palin said, "God wouldn't let the wrong side win." He didn't.
The moral of the story is that God does not take sides, except in cases of an extreme emergency. Even then, there are terrible disasters, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, famine, sickness. God cannot solve every problem. In the world wide order of things, there are much more important things for God to work on than a football game.

I almost feel sorry for Exodus, because she's worked so hard for the "vote rogue" campaign, but the fact remains that her spirit will ultimately be crushed. One by one, you can watch it happen: Zeigler, Tammy Bruce, et al. They even hate 'Faux News' and now are leery of Bannon, the maker of the 'Undefeated' POS.
This will be an incredible year - as a former Repub, I can't wait to see President Obama kick some ass for four more years!

And since you weren't really paying close attention (being obsessed with Palin the way you are), Rick Perry was the first to curse Tebow with his comparison of himself to Tebow ("Everybody said Tim Tebow couldn't make it in the NFL. I could be the Tim Tebow of this race.") I knew then that Timmy was cursed.
I read the comments on this blog, and I completely understand how the religious right is getting traction on their accusation that there is a war on Christianity. These commenters/people aren't smart or inciteful, they are just hateful. I may not be a Christian, but I know a good person when I see one. And I'm not going to discount their charity, good character, or good works just because they are open and public about their Christian faith. Tim Tebow is a genuine person and a genuinely good person. You could learn a thing or two from his example.
