So is this some kind of hint? Update!

I like Cory Booker, I do.

But I really have my heart set on Elizabeth Warren.

Now according to recent reporting Hillary is actually down to these three choices:

Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential search is centering on three main contenders, with an announcement expected as soon as Friday as the Democrat prepares for her party’s national convention next week in Philadelphia.

Democrats familiar with the search say Clinton’s campaign has focused in recent days on Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, a former governor, mayor and one-time Catholic missionary fluent in Spanish; Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, an ex-Iowa governor and longtime Clinton ally; and Labor Secretary Tom Perez, a progressive champion who would be the first Hispanic on a major-party ticket.

I REALLY hope that this is inaccurate reporting because not one of those choices appeals to me even a little.

I would much prefer Cory Booker, who at least has some personality, and it not some old boring white dude.

But then again, as I have said many times in the past, Elizabeth Warren is the game changing choice that would give Hillary the kind of bump that would completely knock Donald Trump off of the news cycle for at least 24 hours.

However I am a Democrat, so if my favorite choice does not get the job I will still support, and vote my heart out, for the Hillary and her VP choice.

Whoever that boring choice might be.

Update: So there is a lot of talk about Hillary announcing her VP choice today.

However with this shooting in Munich today I would put all of that on hold if I were the Clinton camp.

They will be drowned out by these events in Germany, and they need to make the announcement when they can own the news cycle.

Like Monday perhaps.

Senate hopeful Cory Booker outraising his opponent Steve Lonegan 8-1. Update!

Courtesy of New Jersey.com:

Newark Mayor Cory Booker has outraised Republican Steve Lonegan 8-to-1 in the fundraising battle for the U.S. Senate, collecting $11.2 million in his first run for federal office to Lonegan’s $1.35 million as of Oct. 4, records show.

The last financial disclosures before Wednesday’s special election showed Booker is raising campaign cash in the same league as Gov. Chris Christie and U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez – despite a shorter-than-usual race that began in June after Sen. Frank Lautenberg’s death.

Of course that was before Sarah Palin rode in to the rescue and delivered her glass shattering high pitched speech on his behalf.

Anybody think that helped Lonegan close the gap?

Anybody?

Anybody?

Beuller?

Beuller?

Update: A new poll shows that Booker has gone up two points in the polls since Palin's visit.

Like we couldn't see that coming.

In a speech so high pitched that only porpoises and vampire bats could make out all of it, Sarah Palin makes New Jersey long for the calm and quiet of Hurricane Sandy.

Okay let me say at the outset that I am unwilling, and nowhere near drunk enough, to transpose this entire 20 minute screech fest.

However I will attempt, in between covering my ears with my pillows to make the bleeding stop, to provide the lowlights.

The first thing I noticed is that the candidate, Steve Lonegan, was TOTALLY playing second fiddle to Palin, and instead of her warming up the audience for him, he warmed them up for HER.

And once the muzzle was off her teeth gnashing and bitching began.

She referred to Mark Levin as "the great one," and said "I just told Todd,  I said 'Ooh I shook Mark Levin's hand, I an die and go to heaven now.'" (If only.)

Here she is with the "Great One" and her pimp husband.

Gross don't you think?

And then she begins:

"I thank Steve for for his boldness. A, in inviting us here today. That proves I think that boldness that is inherent in all of you who are here to make sure that our country is not fundamentally transformed but it's fundamentally restored, into that exceptional nation that we no...that we want. That we deserve. You deserve it. Folks you do deserve better." (You know that's what I was thinking. They deserve better than some washed up old Teabagging has been, but she, and some tired old radio jockey, were all the support that Lonegan could drum up.)

Palin then co-opts a Buffalo Springfield song, and changes the line to "And something big is happening here, and it's exactly clear. It's called momentum. You have the momentum with Steve's campaign. The rest of the country knows it. (We do?) The media even knows it, and that's why they're getting all wee wee'd up against Steve." (This last part was so high pitched that I think I saw it knock a seagull out of the sky.)

At this point Palin decides it is time to teach a little local history to the people who actually live in New Jersey. So she talks about the Battle of Monmouth, and the woman known as Molly Hays who fired a cannon at the British after her husband was over come by the heat, and deems her the "first Mama Grizzly." (Such an insult.)

Then, while fighting to keep her wig on her head and her papers from flying off the podium, Palin launches into her diatribe against Obama and the governemtn shutdown. "I think it should be called 'the slimdown' because only 17% of our bloated, burdensome, out of control Federal government. that has even slowed down  this week." (Is THAT why the Republicans were scrambling to get certain programs funded before they received the blamed for soldiers not getting paid, children not being fed, and sick people not receiving care?)

"Folks the Amber alert website that finds missing children was shutdown, but the Michele Obama's really groovy 'Let's Move' video is still up and running, because you can't be chubby." (Actually the Amber Alert website is up now, was only shutdown temporarily and that service was NEVER affected. As for the "Let's Move" website it has not been updated sine September 30th.)

Of course Palin HAS to bring up the barricades outside of the World War 2 memorial in Washington, and claims that she and Todd will "zip on in to DC" and "shake hands with those vets who are being dishonored."

Palin also claims that the 'slim down' is about "It is about a fundamental transformation of America. It's about breaking your spirit. It is about disempowering the people. And it's about trying to make YOU feel hopeless, and helpless.  And heaven forbid they do that when you have a candidate like Steve Lonegan. When you hear about his story about not being hopeless and helpless and what he has overcome, and what we need in the United States Senate is more 'overcomers.'" (Wait, what? Did she mean to say that?)

Palin then compares Obamacare to Prohibition as a law that can be repealed. And then compares the number who have signed up for the ACA to the number of people who have signed the petition to repeal the law, while also chiding Joe Biden for cancelling a rally to head to Camp David. (Likely to work the the President to overcome the shutdown that Ted Cruz and his flunkies engineered.)

In other words it just gets nastier and nastier as she struggles to hold onto her notes and keep her wig from flying off in the wind. ("The Left lied, and trust died" is another of her nasty little ghostwritten Molotov catchphrases.)

She does remember to mention the candidate a few more times before wrapping it up, and shows that she wrote one of his quotes on her palm, which I assume in her mind is some kind of honor.

All in all I found the speech to be lazy and rife with recycled Palinisms, and perhaps the only thing that made it somewhat noteworthy was the spittle flecked stye in which it was delivered.

However the idea that this, in any way, benefits Lonegan's campaign is laughable.

I also don't believe it benefits Palin, who claimed that her trip was paid for by SarahPAC. And that kind of makes me believe that she is using this rally as an excuse, and has another hidden agenda that she is unwilling to share at this time.  (Aren't the Fox News studios in New York which is only a hop, skip, and a jump from Jersey?)

Update: Yep she brought the "Belmonts."

And the belt buckle. So classy.

You knew it was coming. Cory Booker campaign uses opponent's Sarah Palin endorsement to undermine his credibility. Calls Palin an "extremist."

"Here you go Mr. Lonegan. Stop ducking!"
Courtesy of TPM:

Cory Booker's campaign thinks an endorsement from Sarah Palin should convince Garden State residents not to vote for Steve Lonegan, his Republican rival in the New Jersey Senate race.

Following Palin's endorsement, Booker's campaign issued a press release Thursday dubbing Palin an "extremist." Booker campaign spokeswoman Silvia Alvarez also told TPM that Palin's endorsement should show voters just how "out of touch" Lonegan is with their values.

"If voters had any doubt about how out of touch Steve Lonegan’s values are with the values of most New Jerseyans, Sarah Palin’s endorsement puts that to rest. Like Mr. Lonegan, she wants to ban abortions, even in cases of rape and incest, doesn’t believe in climate change and opposes common sense measures to make our streets safer, like expanded background checks for gun purchases," Alvarez said.

Here is the graphic that they released.

This is a VERY smart by Booker and his people.

Sarah Palin is an extremist nutjob and MOST people in this country know that. Especially those on the East Coast.

I can hardly wait for her response in a ghostwritten spittle flecked diatribe posted on a social media outlet.

New surgically enhanced Sarah Palin appears on Hannity to blast President Obama. New face, same old moosepoop! Update!

Of course right out of the gate Hannity takes a few shots at Newark Mayor Cory Booker, over his MTP gaffes. (Interestingly enough while this was taking place, Rachel Maddow had Booker on her show talking a mile a minute trying desperately to do damage control. My opinion? He's a douche!)

Then the trumpets were sounded, the curtains parted,  and "Tah-Dah" the surgically tightened Lunatic from Lake Lucille makes her appearance. If I may say, she looks faux fabulous, and if it weren't from her voice which is suffering from smoker's croak...screaming at her children...recent neck surgery...a slight cold, she was flawless.  Okay, well not "flawless" but a damn sight better than she has looked in recent appearances.

Palin appears very chipper (Because until her face relaxes from the surgery, THAT is the only emotion she can display) and goes right after President Obama with the ferocity of a rabies infected Chihuahua.

Her Lego hair bobbing up and down Palin goes right to work attacking the President, however when it comes to defending the GOP nominee Mitt Romney she can still barely bring herself to say anything supportive about him, though she sort of defends the "idea" of him.

Here is a brief synopsis of Palin's remarks: "Time tested truths....free market...community organizer...redistribute wealth...don'tcha know?"

About halfway through the interview Hannity brings out his favorite chew toy, Reverend Wright.

Hannity: "This is relevant. You thought so in 2008. Do you think it's relevant, these issues, today?"

(Red meat thrown, Palin spies it on the floor, and pounces.)

The Lunatic from Lake Lucille:

"I do. And I thought so in 2008, and that's why I went rogue if you will, and disagreed with some of John McCain's advisers when they said no, a lot of these issues, past associations, Bill Ayers, and those that helped shape Obama's world view, needed to be off the table and not discussed. I disagreed then, I disagree now! Barack Obama back in 2008 was an empty vessel (Hooah, hooah! Projection alert!) the public did not know what, or who, filled this vessel in order to create, what has become, I think a very confused and mission envision-less leader for our country. (Seriously is she looking into a mirror here?) Well now, its not too late to change course and, this next go-around, understand what has filled up that vessel, who are these people? Who are the radicals, the Marxist professors that he said he'd like to, he'd hang out with, and some of his friends and associations. And even what his past voting record represents. How that filled up that vessel and has led to this very confused country in so many respects."

Later in the segment Palin goes on to attack teacher's unions, continues to bring up the fact that Obama was not vetted, claims that the media are Obama "lap dogs," compares some GOP operative's fighting spirit to Sesame Street's Mr. Snuffleupagus (WTF?), and states that Mitt Romney (without ever saying his name of course) should choose Alan West as his running mate.

All in all the interview is reminiscent of watching an intake interview before having a patient is committed to a psychiatric unit. "Okay lady, how about we take all of these sharp objects out of your pocket and have you go with these nice men in the white lab coats."

Palin is clearly agitated and still desperate to fight those 2008 battles that she feels she was not allowed to fight back then. However she also seems to want to blame her OWN confusion on the President. As if the fact that she cannot maintain a coherent thought in her head is HIS fault.

Listen lady, you were a dipshit while running Wasilla.

You were a dipshit while governing Alaska.

You were a dipshit while running for VP in 2008.

And you will remain a dipshit long after President Obama has successfully finished his second term.

Deal with it!

(P.S. And by the way you crazy bitch, don't you ever, and I mean EVER, bring up the delightful Mr. Snuffleupagus in one of your crazy tirades again! He is a shy loveable creature who disdains conflict, and simply wants everybody to get along. If certain people I could mention would recognize, and embrace, his message this world could be a much, much better place. Long live Snuffy!)

Update: By the way this is how the folks at Fox News labeled this interview with the "Disasta from Alaska."

I have every confidence that President Obama feels completely "un-pulverized" this morning and probably does not even know that the moron was talking trash about his again.
