I want to make it crystal clear that S.E. Cupp is NOT a real Atheist!

Conservative S.E. Cupp of CNN makes for one terrible atheist. In 2009, she gave an interview on C-SPAN that would befuddle the finest team of doctors the field of psychoanalysis could offer. During one exchange, she claimed she’d never want an atheist president because such a person wouldn’t believe in a higher power — the very kind she doesn’t think exists in the first place. 

Now she’s back at it. The atheist who wrote a book called Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack On Christianity, stars in this short clip where virtually every single thing she says is just demonstrably false. Not arguably false. But false, as in fact-not-opinion false, up to and including her claim that conservatives welcome atheists.

Right off the bat Cupp makes a statement that identifies the fact that she simply does not understand what it means to be an Atheist.   

“I don’t believe in god, but I’m not mad at him.”

Mad at who? You cannot be mad at something, or someone, that you do not believe in.

That would be like me saying I don't believe in unicorns and then saying "But I don't get angry when I get unicorn crap on my shoes."

As for her contention that "conservatism is far more intellectually honest and respectful of atheism than liberalism has been," either suggests that she is as dumb as a stump or simply an habitual liar.

Allow me to remind you how conservatives feel toward atheism.

And don't bother suggesting that Norris is an outlier. I think we all know that if he were to run simply on this statement, that he would immediately capture 80% of the conservative vote.

Oh and another thing that separates Atheists from S.E. Cupp, is that the majority of us are infinitely smarter than she is, and recognize that wearing glasses does not fool anybody!

Lesson for the day. Never challenge Bill Nye.

Anyone who puts S.E. Cupp in her place is my kind of guy.

S.E. Cupp outraged that Texas State Senator Wendy Davis is getting so much positive attention. Yeah, what's THAT about?

S.E. Cupp is outraged that a Texas state senator who blocked an extreme anti-abortion bill with a more than 10-hour filibuster has received national attention. 

During an appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan, the conservative commentator lashed out at those who had “lionized” state Sen. Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) for her opposition to a bill that would close all but five abortion clinics in the state. Though Republicans in the Texas Senate cut her filibuster short, Democrats were still able to block the bill with some help from the gallery. 

“This lionizing of Wendy Davis, who is a politician and did what politicians are supposed to do I think would make Susan B. Anthony and Fredrick Douglass and Rosa Parks roll over in their graves,” Cupp said. “Our standards for what counts as a hero today have become so shockingly, patheticly low.” 

She claimed the bill was merely intended to make abortions safer, though Texas Republicans have publicly stated they want to completely abolish abortion in the state. 

“Democrats have lost their rational common sense on the issue of abortion,” Cupp proclaimed. “The pendulum is going to swing back in the other direction.”

Yeah, it's the DEMOCRATS that have lost their rational common sense. Oh huh.

Interestingly enough Cupp, like most Republicans, was VERY impressed by Rand Paul's filibuster back in March and even retweeted this in support:

But hey it could have been worse, at least Cupp did not call Wendy Davis a terrorist:

As was expected the Republicans are still so focused on controlling women's bodies that Rick Perry has called for yet another special session and then mocked Davis for not having "learned her lesson:"

"Even the woman who filibustered the Senate the other day was born into difficult circumstances. She was the daughter of a single woman, she was a teenage mother herself. She managed to eventually graduate from Harvard Law School and serve in the Texas senate," Perry said Thursday in a speech to the National Right to Life Convention. "It is just unfortunate that she hasn’t learned from her own example that every life must be given a chance to realize its full potential and that every life matters."

Yes because having been a teenage mom automatically makes you want to tell other women what to do with their bodies. Seriously?

Well you know perhaps the Republicans, and their mouthpieces, are not impressed with Davis and her filibuster, but the American people sure were.

And they also learned a simple truth.

And I hope she runs for Governor and kicks Rick Perry's ass all the way back to his old N*****head campground where he belongs.

P.S. By the way, didn't Jon Stewart drive a fucking stake through the heart of Crossfire seven years ago?

By the way possibly the BEST part of this segment was the look on S.E. Cupp's face as they handed off to Martin Bashir for the start of his show. She looked like she was seething, which to my mind only made it that much better.

I really like Krystal Ball and I am not the only one, she is all but ubiquitous on MSNBC these days appearing as a contributor on The Last Word, with Martin Bashir on his show, and on any number of other programs as well.

And why not, she is quick witted, charming, and gorgeous.

Like I said I can barely force myself to watch the Cycle, but if it had a lot more Krystal Ball and a lot LESS S.E. Cupp I am pretty sure I would become an avid viewer in no time.

 "White people vote for white people like it's going out of style," Maher said during the New Rules segment at the end of his first post-election episode. "And like most things white people do, it's going out of style." In other words, Maher quipped that Republicans have "the same problem as the Beach Boys: Their fans are dying."

This is going to make some racist heads explode.

It was a great show last night with a panel that included Andrew Sullivan,  James Carville, and later Samuel L. Jackson, But it was almost ruined for me by the inclusion of S.E. Cupp, who spent the entire show spreading stupid all over the set.

Though I enjoyed watching Sullivan and Carville shut her down, it all seemed a little unnecessary so soon after the smart people won such a huge victory last Tuesday. (By the way I have NEVER struck a woman, but I REALLY wanted somebody to knock that ignorant bitch on her ass. That was wrong of me right?)

I love MSNBC, but I REALLY can't stand S.E. Cupp!

Okay you know I do try to find something to like about just about everybody. Admittedly I don't always find it, but I do try.

So I have watched a few episodes of the new MSNBC show The Cycle, and really thought that this fairly young group had some good energy and have really enjoyed a few of their segments.

However there is one member of the panel that I simply cannot find anything positive to say about, And that is their token conservative, S.E. Cupp.

Before this gig I had seen her several times on other MSNBC shows (Most notably "Now with Alex.") and was able to take her in small portions without wanting to bang my head against the desk.

But now that she is a permanent part of the panel on "The Cycle," and they are letting her speak longer without reaching over and slapping her for interrupting the grownups, I am simply going to have to start skipping this show altogether so that I don't go to a local mall with a high powered rifle and open fire on innocent shoppers.

I know you think I am overreacting, but you are wrong. My first episode of "Cycle rage" was when S.E., while claiming to actually BE an Atheist, said just about the dumbest thing about atheists that I have heard in my entire life.

But I thought, "Hey Gryphen perhaps you are just a little overly sensitive about how Atheists are perceived and are letting this get to you more than it should." So I thought, "Good point, voice inside my head." and moved on.

But then in yesterday's episode S.E. introduced a discussion of those bullshit Voter ID laws and I..I just about...well take a look and you tell me if I am overreacting.

Okay did you see it?  Was I wrong?

She literally pretended to be so hung up on the idea that 86 people might have voted illegally that she used THAT as a talking point for excusing the possible disenfranchisement of MILLIONS of patriotic Americans who might not be able to get the needed ID in order to vote. And she KNOWS she is making a ridiculous point, and simply does NOT CARE, just so long as she can drive home the GOP talking point.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, you lady!

God that pisses me off! You know this is exactly what the point of Aaron Sorkin's HBO series ("The Newsroom") is all about. Sometimes there is NO alternate point of view, because only ONE SIDE is right!  And clearly in this case anybody with a handful of working braincells should know which side that is.

My advice to MSNBC is to get S.E. Cupp the hell off that program so that it can finally be the show that it seems to want to be, one which actually discusses important topics in an intelligent and energetic manner, WITHOUT feeling the need to invite the booger eating retard across the room to chime in with their opinion.

And by the way if that fucking idiot really is an atheist, then that must mean the mildew stain on my shower curtain truly IS the miraculous depiction of the little baby Jesus. But it ain't and neither is she.
