New York bombing suspect in custody after shoot out with police.

Courtesy of WNBC:

Ahmad Rahami, a 28-year-old U.S. citizen born in Afghanistan, was taken into custody after a gun battle with police in Linden, New Jersey, that left two officers injured, four law enforcement sources and other officials said.

At least one officer was shot in the chest during the takedown, but was not seriously wounded because he was wearing a bullet proof vest. The other was hit by glass shrapnel, officials said.

The shootout came hours after the FBI released a wanted poster showing photos of Rahami, sought in connection with bombings that rocked a crowded Manhattan neighborhood and a Jersey shore town over the weekend. It wasn't immediately clear if the suspect was linked to five pipe bombs -- one of which was inadvertently detonated by a robot -- found at a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey, late Sunday, not far from where Rahami was later captured.

I was watching the news this morning which said that the officer found the suspect asleep on the ground in a doorway, and when he tried to wake him Rahami started shooting striking the officer in his bullet proof vest.

The police also said that it appeared that he did nothing to cover his tracks and they even found one of his fingerprints on an unexploded device.

Now of course law enforcement officials will have to determine if Rahami had any accomplices or if he was working with a terrorist group.

Radar Online gets access to court documents showing that Levi Johnston did not give Bristol permission to take Tripp out of state.

Courtesy of Radar Online:

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Johnston has dragged Palin back into court in Alaska in a bid to get more time with their five-year-old son, Tripp, and to curb Palin’s repeated trips out of state with the boy.

“I was never EVER ok with u taking my son anywhere or put[ting him] on your tv show,” Johnston snaps in bitter text messages submitted as evidence in the case, and only Radar has all the details.

Radar also finally learned that there has never been a legal custody agreement between Levi and Bristol, and that all of this time he has been at her mercy as to when, and for how long he could see Tripp. (Just another way that he was screwed over by Rex and Tank.)

Instead of having a solid visitation agreement, Bristol just up and took Tripp whenever she wanted to, and often this came as a surprise to Levi:

“Hey I thought our flight left tomorrow, but it leaves midnight tonight,” a supposed text from Palin sent January 6, 2014, reads.

“When does my son get back?” Johnston’s response reads. “I told u … There is not chance you are taking him there for another 3 months. TRIPP wants and needs his father, Bristol. U need to let him stay with me or fly him back up to me when I’m back from work. That’s completely reasonable.”

“Look Levi, bfeore sunny got involved in this, you were fine with me being in school,” Palin snapped back in the alleged text. “Tripp is enrolled in school in AZ and will be back when I’m done with training.”

Johnston insisted, “Tripp needs to be in Alaska. We’re [sic] the rest of his family is. How can u be so selfish and no I was never EVER ok with u taking my son anywhere or put on your TV show. It’s all crap. He deserves more then [sic] that. He needs his dad and my family just as much as yours. And more importantly. Tripp needs stability and a routine and sports. And all that. I really hope and pray u put 2 and 2 together one day. It’s not right. Or fair to our son.”

“Go ahead and ask him if he want to stay with dad or go with u,” he taunted. “Bet he says dad. Just saying Bristol. Tripps old enough to tell u what he wants now.”

I have been told that Levi often did not even realize that Tripp was out of town until days after he left.

I remember that Sadie would complain bitterly that there would be agreed upon visitations, often around holidays and birthdays, and then at the last minute Bristol would simply cancel, without bothering to give a reason.

Hopefully this time there will be an actual agreement that will protect Levi and his parental rights, and introduce some stability into the child's life.

Which by the way is more than Bristol apparently ever had.

Sunny Ogelsby defends Levi Johnston against Bristol's reality show slurs.

Courtesy of Radar Online:

“Levi saw Tripp twice in January and shortly after that, Bristol’s people offered him about $10,000 to appear on one episode [of her show],” his current baby-mama-to-be Sunny Oglesby tells the new issue of Star magazine.

“It’s clear they thought it would boost the ratings, but Levi wants nothing to do with her show,” Sunny, who is seven months pregnant, says about the interest in having Levi on Palin's new reality hit, Life’s a Tripp.

Sarah Palin’s daughter subsequently turned on Levi in spite after he turned down the show offer, Sunny claims.

“Bristol got so angry after he refused that she hasn’t let Levi see or talk to Tripp since,” she alleges.

Sunny says that Levi is working to pay Bristol the $20,000 he owes her in child support but that Palin has taken drastic measures to ignore the father of her child.

“She’s ignored Levi’s pleas to see his son. It got to the point where she simply changed her number,” she claims. (Which, by the way is the same thing that Mercede mentioned right here at IM last Friday.)

Well good for Sunny, however I am torn.

On the one hand I absolutely DON'T like the fact that Sunny feels the need to go to the tabloids to set the record straight, but I DO feel that Bristol's attacks against her baby daddy should not go unanswered. (By the way it was a good call for Levi to avoid being part of the reality show. He would have been CRUCIFIED!)

In one way I understand that using a tabloid means that the information will be read by the same kinds of people who actually watch reality shows for entertainment (Unlike us of course, who only watched Bristol's show out of morbid curiosity and to make sure the Palin family corpse was still dead. It was by the way.), however I would much prefer it if Levi and Sunny instead went to one of the many lawyers I have sent their way and took their child custody case back to court.

And if they need any inspiration when it comes to standing up for their rights they need look no further than mother Massey, who has filed a very serious lawsuit against the producers of Bristol's crapfest of a show.

"It is unfortunate that after months of trying to resolve this matter the professional way, we were left with no other course of action than taking legal action to protect ourselves," Angela Massey said in a statement announcing the legal claim.

"If you read the entire complaint, and particularly pages 8-11, you will see how we came up with and created the show, registered the show and did all the leg work to bring this idea to TV and to the defendants, who stole our concept."

The Masseys are asking for damages and a permanent injunction against the show's producers from profiting on what they claim was their idea.

The lawsuit alleges copyright infringement, fraud and deceit, breach of contract, bad faith, misappropriation, tortious interference and unfair competition.

Personally I believe that Levi has EVEN better grounds to sue Bristol and the producers of the show for defamation of character and he has EVERY right to sue Bristol herself for defying a court order concerning his visitation. (And before any of you Palin fairy tale trolls start, the child support situation has NOTHING to do with Levi's visitation!)

All he has to do is make a phone call and the process can start today.

You have to trust somebody Levi.

Mercede Johnston has something to say about Bristol's assertion that her brother doesn't want to be "involved" in his son's life. Update!

This is a guest post from Mercede Johnston:

How in the world can she go around telling people Levi isn't "trying,"  "isn't calling," "isn't texting to ask for Tripp," or that he is not taking advantage of his visitation days?

First off it is extremely difficult to make plans when the mother is constantly flying in and out of the state without telling him. Or when she simply ignores his calls, or tells him okay but then when he goes to confirm the next day, while he is already on his way to her house (Edit: Not the house, Levi is not allowed at the house, she only agrees to meet him neutral locations.), suddenly bails on him.

Not only that but the reality is that she AGAIN changed her number without telling him.

That's the type of game she plays.

And now he looks like the bad guy because she "hasn't received any calls from him".

I guarantee that she will be showing her new phone number records on her show as an example to prove that Levi doesn't try. When, in reality,  he has NO WAY of finding out her number. So of course there won't be any record because it's literally impossible when you don't know it!

(Coincidentally one of my friends ended up with Bristol's old phone number, and reached out to me because she kept receiving texts from Levi asking for Tripp!)

I find it in bad taste to take so much time, energy, and money just to try and belittle the father of your child whom you claim you want in Tripp's life. Really what depths will that family go to in trying to keep distance between a  father and his son while continuing to damage his reputation?

Her statement that she wishes both parents would be in his life could not be further from the truth. ANYBODY who wants the father in their child's life will HAVE the father in their child's life!

And they most certainly wouldn't bash them in a book, or on talk shows, or Facebook, while ignoring his texts. Or see his truck on the highway, let Tripp see him,  and then speed up and pass him when she could have easily stopped and let Tripp have a few minutes with his daddy.

I really hope people open their eyes and don't buy the bullcrap she's trying to sell.

It makes you wonder just how long she's been planning certain things in an attempt to tarnish Levi's reputation and damage his relationship with his son.

Bottom line, Levi won't give up Bristol. Your plan simply will not work!

I wish people would remember that Bristol has virtually unlimited resources and money at her disposal, unlike Levi. If that were not the case he would have taken her to court and we would have Tripp with us right now.

By the way if anyone knows her new number it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me so I can pass it to Levi. But message it to me on Facebook, or e-mail it to Jesse, so her privacy is respected. I don't want anyone else seeing it.

We all want to see Tripp and honestly have no way of getting a hold of her to do so.

Kind of hard to be "involved" in your son's life if his hateful shrew of a mother keeps changing her phone number, don't you think?

Update:

It looks like Sunny is also fed up with the lies and has contacted the National Enquirer.

“Levi would take Tripp any day, and Bristol is well aware of that, but she is more concerned about faking her single mother pity-party so she can boost her ratings,” said Sunny.

“The truth is she is offered plenty of help every day from Levi and his side of the family.

“The image that she’s portraying of being a single mom with no one to help is a disgusting lie.

It looks like both Sunny and Mercede agree that Bristol is completely full of shit.

Big surprise right ?

Update 2: I am not in the mood to do yet anther Bristol post today, but for those who are curious here is a link to her appearance with Hannity the other day. (The Levi bashing starts at the 1:44 mark.)

George Zimmerman back in custody after having bail revoked.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Mr. Zimmerman turned himself in to the authorities in Sanford, Fla., early Sunday afternoon, according to a blog post from his lawyer, Mark O'Mara. Judge Kenneth R. Lester Jr. had revoked his bond two days earlier and gave him 48 hours to surrender to the authorities.

In revoking the bond, Judge Lester found that Mr. Zimmerman had misled the court about his finances, with the help of his wife, during his April bond hearing.

At the time, Mr. Zimmerman had access to as much as $135,000 from a PayPal account that collected donations through a legal defense Web site. But Mr. Zimmerman’s wife testified that she was unaware of how much money had been collected through the site. Because it was believed that Mr. Zimmerman had no money, he was released on a low bond of $150,000.

As evidence, prosecutors presented transcripts at Friday’s hearing of telephone conversations between Mr. Zimmerman, who was in jail, and his wife. They said the two were discussing in code what to do with the money.

Mr. O’Mara said that he was unaware of the money at the time of the first hearing and that he planned to ask for another bond hearing so that Mr. Zimmerman could explain himself to the judge.

Lying about your funds to a judge is a pretty big deal. And the fact that he talked in code to his wife about the money means he knew full well that he would get into trouble if the judge ever found out.

So much for any credibility Zimmerman might have had.

I am interested in how Fox News will spin THIS.
