Based on what I have learned recently about Bristol Palin this comes off as more than just a little ironic. Update!

Sarah Palin responds to Dakota Meyer filing custody papers with the Alaska court. Oh, and Bristol claims to have no idea where Dakota got that incriminating photo of Sailor Grace Palin.

Bristol's mother, former vice-presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, spoke to ET exclusively about Meyer's claims. 

"For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby," Palin told ET. 

"Paramount to the entire Palin family is the health and welfare of Sailor Grace," she added, claiming that Meyer is attempting to "save face."

Well he had sex with Bristol "for a good time call" Palin so I think it is a little late to "save face."

However obviously Dakota has no intention of sitting idly by while the Palins subtly hint to the world that he is a deadbeat dad who abandoned his child. 

And how is that Palin cannot get her almost future son-in-law's name right?

Really? Well according to Sarah, via Bristol's ghostwritten blog, " The most important people in Bristol’s life were there to witness the miracle of Sailor Grace Palin’s arrival last night." So I would start with one of them.

However I think we all know that Bristol sent that picture, and simply did not realize the controversy that it would inspire.

Okay folks grab your popcorn because it looks like we are all set for yet another "Thrilla in Wasilla."

See? I told you 2016 was going to be a very entertaining year.

As we posted yesterday, Bristol is on the road to retrieve the things she abandoned in Kentucky when she did her Runaway Bride impression and skedaddled back to Alaska. 

However on the way it appears that she is taking time out to purchase a few more things, because of course nothing mends a broken heart like spending money.

And from what I hear spending money is currently her thing. Somebody said that they are pretty sure she has a brand new vehicle, and others have mentioned that she is looking to spend a sizable amount of money.

That money might be from the sale of her home, though to be honest I cannot be certain that the sale went through yet.

Anyhow it appears that Tripp is currently being well cared for by Levi and Sunny, and is missing this most recent episode of "Life is a Bad Trip with Bristol." So at least that's something.

Of course his stability will undoubtedly come to an end once Bristol arrives back in Wasilla.

After all a day without drama, is a day without a Palin nearby. 

P.S. By the way it is now clear that Marina  Lupas is NOT on this trip as she is back here in Alaska making an "exotic" calendar. (Warning: You CANNOT unsee that video.)

It looks like Bristol Palin is about to get a proposal she doesn't want ... the stalker who once sent her an engagement ring is back in her home state of Alaska. 

Palin filed legal docs against a Texas man who once showed up 2 years ago on Sarah Palin's doorstep during a birthday party for Bristol's son Tripp. 

It was so alarming ... Bristol got a restraining order ... but it expired earlier this year. 

The stalker returned to Alaska last week ... probably not for the wildlife. 

Wait, somebody is actually trying to get CLOSER to Bristol Palin?

Well I was shocked by this so I went to court view and looked into it.

Yup. Earlier this month, May 5th to be precise, Bristol petitioned for a restraining order against one Michael Cummings.

You may remember Cummings as the guy who freaked Bristol out last year:

TMZ reports that the daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was granted temporary protection from Michael Cummings, who, according to court documents, sent her an engagement ring in the mail with the note "I (heart) you." Cummings also allegedly showed up to a birthday party Bristol held for son Tripp at her mother's house on Dec. 27.

I don't know much more about it, but if past reports are any indication, Bristol has a habit of going through men like tissue paper.  Perhaps one crumpled up snot rag was not quite ready to be discarded.

Or it could just be that with an impending custody case coming up soon, the Palin camp is just attempting to drum up as much sympathy as possible.  Of course I would like to point out that there are no stalkers turning up to Tripp's birthday parties at his dad's house.

I'm just saying.

Sunny Ogelsby defends Levi Johnston against Bristol's reality show slurs.

“Levi saw Tripp twice in January and shortly after that, Bristol’s people offered him about $10,000 to appear on one episode [of her show],” his current baby-mama-to-be Sunny Oglesby tells the new issue of Star magazine. 

“It’s clear they thought it would boost the ratings, but Levi wants nothing to do with her show,” Sunny, who is seven months pregnant, says about the interest in having Levi on Palin's new reality hit, Life’s a Tripp. 

Sarah Palin’s daughter subsequently turned on Levi in spite after he turned down the show offer, Sunny claims. 

“Bristol got so angry after he refused that she hasn’t let Levi see or talk to Tripp since,” she alleges. 

Sunny says that Levi is working to pay Bristol the $20,000 he owes her in child support but that Palin has taken drastic measures to ignore the father of her child. 

“She’s ignored Levi’s pleas to see his son. It got to the point where she simply changed her number,” she claims. (Which, by the way is the same thing that Mercede mentioned right here at IM last Friday.)

Well good for Sunny, however I am torn.

On the one hand I absolutely DON'T like the fact that Sunny feels the need to go to the tabloids to set the record straight, but I DO feel that Bristol's attacks against her baby daddy should not go unanswered. (By the way it was a good call for Levi to avoid being part of the reality show. He would have been CRUCIFIED!)

In one way I understand that using a tabloid means that the information will be read by the same kinds of people who actually watch reality shows for entertainment (Unlike us of course, who only watched Bristol's show out of morbid curiosity and to make sure the Palin family corpse was still dead. It was by the way.), however I would much prefer it if Levi and Sunny instead went to one of the many lawyers I have sent their way and took their child custody case back to court.

And if they need any inspiration when it comes to standing up for their rights they need look no further than mother Massey, who has filed a very serious lawsuit against the producers of Bristol's crapfest of a show.

"It is unfortunate that after months of trying to resolve this matter the professional way, we were left with no other course of action than taking legal action to protect ourselves," Angela Massey said in a statement announcing the legal claim. 

"If you read the entire complaint, and particularly pages 8-11, you will see how we came up with and created the show, registered the show and did all the leg work to bring this idea to TV and to the defendants, who stole our concept." 

The Masseys are asking for damages and a permanent injunction against the show's producers from profiting on what they claim was their idea. 

The lawsuit alleges copyright infringement, fraud and deceit, breach of contract, bad faith, misappropriation, tortious interference and unfair competition. 

Personally I believe that Levi has EVEN better grounds to sue Bristol and the producers of the show for defamation of character and he has EVERY right to sue Bristol herself for defying a court order concerning his visitation. (And before any of you Palin fairy tale trolls start, the child support situation has NOTHING to do with Levi's visitation!)

All he has to do is make a phone call and the process can start today.

You have to trust somebody Levi.

Bar heckler, Stephen Hanks, to sue Bristol Palin for defamation.

A man who heckled Bristol Palin in a Los Angeles bar and insulted her conservative politician mother, Sarah Palin, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday accusing the single mom of defamation. 

Talent manager Stephen Hanks also sued cable channel Lifetime, which includes film of the 2011 incident in Bristol Palin's upcoming reality TV show, claiming he had not given the program's makers his permission to be filmed. 

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. federal court in Los Angeles, stems from a widely publicized September 2011 incident at a bar and restaurant on the famous Sunset Strip. 

The amount of damages is not specified but Hank's lawyer, Los Angeles-based Michael Gulden, told Reuters the suit had been filed in federal court because the plaintiff was seeking more than $75,000. Representatives for Palin and Lifetime did not immediately respond to requests for comment. 

This is what Hanks had to say about his reasons for suing Bristol: 

Palin later told celebrity magazine In Touch that the incident was one of the reasons she had decided to leave Los Angeles and return to her home in Wasilla, Alaska. 

Hanks claims in his lawsuit, however, that Palin had bought a new house in Alaska in July 2011 (That sounds about right.), and that she had defamed him by publicly blaming their encounter for her decision to leave Los Angeles. 

Hanks also says he suffered emotional distress and invasion of privacy over Palin's questions about his sexuality, and the use of the incident in publicity for the TV reality show. 

"Bristol Palin's conduct was outrageous", states the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters. 

"Bristol Palin first accused Plaintiff off 'being a homosexual' in a degrading manner in front of others ... she then in a magazine article blamed Plaintiff for her decision to leave Los Angeles for Alaska even though she had purchased her home in Alaska ... more than two months before the encounter," the lawsuit adds.

Apparently Hanks claims to have tried to settle out of court but there was no response from Lifetime.

So what do we think, legitimate claim, attempt to renegotiate deal, or publicity stunt?

Well the show definitely needs SOME kind of drama to gain attention.
