David Duke, Trump supporter and former grand dragon of the KKK, claims that Hillary Clinton is an agent of "White Genocide." Can she start with him?

On the September 7, 2016 episode of his radio show, David Duke and co-host Jay Hess hyped black-on-white crimes and accused Hillary Clinton of being an architect of “white genocide.” As Hess put it, Clinton “represents the forces of white genocide” and is “definitely a traitor to her people” who doesn’t care if white people are “outbred.”

With that, Duke segued into the argument that white people are being targeted for non-white violence. He insisted that there are “hundreds of thousands of white victims of massive non-white crime.” He went on to say that:

"When a person goes to the store, they go to the mall, or they drive somewhere in their car and they break down, or they stop at a traffic light and they might get hijacked, nine times out of ten it’s not gonna be some white guy hijacking their car. It’s not gonna be a white guy kidnapping them at the Walmart, right? And, you know, taking their family and slaughtering them, or robbing them or raping the women. That’s just the reality of life in this country."

For the record I live in lily white Alaska and when somebody here gets robbed, raped, or kidnapped it is more often than not a white guy.

Like David Duke. 

Crime is crime, and ethnicity has little to do with it.

Often it is the result of poverty, or a lack of education, or a sense of hopelessness.

Yes sometimes those things are found in African American communities, but also in poor Hispanic communities, in poverty stricken Asian communities, and yes in poor mostly Caucasian communities.

The idea that crime is determined by race is a White Nationalist meme that has little fact to back it up.

And there are also no facts to back up Duke's assertion that Hillary Clinton is a self loathing agent of white genocide.

Obviously.

It looks like someone is bucking to be added to that "basket of deplorables."

Bill Maher mocks the Republicans for suggesting that President Obama "does not love America."

I swear this bit was worth watching simply for the picture they used to represent Rudy Giuliani.

According to Eric Bolling of Fox News only Muslims kill people in the name of religion, and that all other religions combined have killed exactly zero people. Wait, what?

Did you have to watch it twice to make sure you heard him right? Yeah me too.

I cannot even begin to imagine how stupid somebody has to be in order to say something  like this.

You would almost have to have spent your entire life in one of those isolation tanks wearing headphones that ONLY sent anti-Islamic propaganda into your brain to say something as completely ridiculous as that statement.

I could spend all day linking to cases of religious killings throughout history, but since Bolling is clearly a Christian I will just leave him with this.

And by the way it is not like these murders only took place centuries ago, they are still happening even in the 20th and 21st Century.

Sarah Palin quotes scripture while demanding that the President sacrifice more American lives to "secure America above all else."

The quote above is attributed to David who was calling upon his God to help him to smite his enemies.

Which of course is exactly what modern day Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan are doing as well right now.  Only they are praying to Allah to help rid themselves of Christians.

In fact right now ISIS is on a rampage through Iraq trying to eradicate Christianity altogether in their homeland. And in response there has been much outrage here in the United States, and among other Christian nations, to stand up and defend their Christian brothers and sisters.

There are great atrocities being committed against innocent men, women, and children, that is to be sure. And I agree that something needs to be done to stop it.

However ISIS has been targeting not only Christians but ANY people living in Iraq who they do not find worthy, including the Yazidi, Turkmen, Shaback, and Kurds.

Many of these people are also Muslim, yet ISIS does not consider them "pure" enough to live unmolested in their country. They either demand that they convert to their brand of Islam, or they kill them outright.

So if the United States, is going to intervene (And by the way we ARE intervening.), it must do so as a response to ethnic cleansing and on behalf of human rights. NOT as a Christian nation coming to the aid of its fellow Christians.

THAT only feeds into the idea of a giant religious war, which is exactly what ISIS is hoping for.

So little bullshit Facebook posts by Palin and other Christian zealots do nothing but inflame religious outrage and cause people to put their faith ahead of their humanity.

The last thing we need to do is engage in another Christian crusade.

George W. Bush already tried that once, and we are still dealing with the fallout to this day.

Yeah let's face it, even if this group had the money to place a Superbowl ad this would never see the light of day.

By the way the next time that you hear somebody pining for the America that our Founding Father's intended, while at the same time comparing our President to Adolph Hitler, you might want to educate them as to exactly what inspired Hitler's attempt to wipe out the Jews:

He was very interested in the way the Indian population had rapidly declined due to epidemics and starvation when the United States government forced them to live on the reservations. He thought the American government's forced migrations of the Indians over great distances to barren reservation land was a deliberate policy of extermination. Just how much Hitler took from the American example of the destruction of the Indian nations is hard to say; however, frightening parallels can be drawn. For some time Hitler considered deporting the Jews to a large 'reservation' in the Lubin area where their numbers would be reduced through starvation and disease.

Yeah America sure was a great place in the old days, if you were a white male Christian who did not have the misfortune of being born poor that is. 

Once again I must ask WHY are women the most consistent church goers, and MOST faithful to the tenets of Christianity?

I know what you are going to say.

"Gryphen surely you realize that this does not represent the truth found in the Bible, nor the truth about Christianity."

But alas I realize no such thing. In fact I think the evidence suggests quite the opposite to be true.

And that evidence is found in the pages of the "good book" itself. Here are just some examples:

A wife is a man’s property:  You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Exodus 20:17

Daughters can be bought and sold: If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do. Exodus 21:7 

A raped daughter can be sold to her rapist: If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 

Women, but only virgins, are to be taken as spoils of war: Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. Numbers 31:17-18

I could go on and on, but you get the drift.

As much as Christians might wish to make the point that morality flows from the Bible as the word of God, and that how we conduct our lives should be shaped by the messages within, that is absolutely false on the face of it, and is, in practice, quite harmful when taken literally.

In fact what is true is that the reason we have so much justice in many parts of the world today is in spite of rigid religious doctrine, not BECAUSE of it.

As we have become more aware of our humanity, and more empathetic to our fellow creatures, religion, including Christianity, has been forced to adapt to those changes in order to survive, not the other way around.

The Bible has not only been used to subjugate women, it has also been used as an excuse to wage war, to enslave other people, and to engage in genocide when there is land or resources that Christians want to access. (The Iraq War anyone?)

The thing to keep in mind is that the Bible was not written to bring peace to the planet, or to provide guidelines for treating all people equally.

It was written to instruct its adherents that THEY had been given dominion over all things on this planet, and that ANY who stood in their way were standing in the way of God and should be treated with extreme prejudice. And the evidence of how that has been carried out through the ages flows like arterial blood from the pages of history.

But how the book treats women specifically may in fact be its most egregious crime of all.

Not only does it steal from women their very birth right, the power of creation. It hands that power to a single, heartlessly authoritarian, male figure, whose every word must be followed without question, and instructs that those who refuse to do so be struck dead.

In other words he is the very antithesis of the female goddesses who preceded him.

And if THAT were not enough, it also lays the blame for ALL of human suffering at the feet of the very first female, and states that her descendants must be punished with immense pain during childbirth and must forever subjugate herself to the will of man for daring to "defy" this patriarchal figure; Genesis 3:16:

“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children.Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”

So again I must ask the question, why?

The scary thing that keeps the Republicans awake at night summed up in one poster.

Let me just say as a white person, that having fewer of us is not necessarily a bad thing.
