Civil Rights Museum turns Donald Trump away. Essentially because he is a belligerent rude asshole.

Courtesy of WFMY:

The International Civil Rights Center and Museum was contacted by the Donald Trump campaign last weekend. Earl Jones, co-founder of the museum, says the campaign demanded certain things to make a visit by the GOP nominee possible.

Jones says Trump's people were trying to plan a visit for Tuesday, the same day he spoke at High Point University. "We did not honor the request of the Donald Trump team because we thought they demonstrated, in their approach was disrespectful, so therefore we did not grant that request," said Jones.

Jones says the Trump campaign was aggressive and rude to museum staff in making their request.

He says Trump's people wanted the museum to be closed for at least 5 hours to accommodate Trump.

Jones says the museum does not provide special treatment to anyone and says that is the main reason they denied the request.

He said he also didn't feel like the request was sincere.

"The approach, the type of disrespect, pretty much a demand and bullying us to use the museum in their manner and their way in their time, it was inappropriate and I think it's probably reflective of the type of insensitivity of civil rights and human rights that's reflective from Trump over the years," said Jones.

Oh damn! I think Mr. Earl Jones has Donald Trump's number.

Of course Trump's campaign thought they could bully their way into the museum, they're white!

And Mr. Jones is also right that Trump was not being sincere.

He was almost certainly doing it as some clumsy way to offset President Obama opening the Black History Museum in Washington, D.C..

Such an arrogant ass.

Hey, but here is a more lighthearted moment featuring that arrogant ass attempting to play beach volleyball.

According to the source this was back sometime before 1999.

Gee what an athlete.

Good thing he has money to convince women to look at him naked.

And yet it is still not enough to get him into the International Civil Rights Center and Museum.

Go figure.

The moment Bernie Sanders learned that President Obama had endorsed Hillary Clinton.

Yeah pretty clear he did not see that coming.

Later this same day Sanders gave a speech which the Huffington Post described as "Divorced from Reality."

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Bernie Sanders delivered his typical stump speech at a campaign rally Thursday evening, choosing not to acknowledge President Barack Obama’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton, his meeting with the president, or Clinton’s claim to have won enough delegates for the Democratic nomination.

“Next Tuesday, here in Washington, you will be having the very last primary of the Democratic nominating process,” Sanders told a crowd outside Robert F. Kennedy Stadium. “It would be extraordinary if the people of Washington, our nation’s capital, stood up and told the world that they are ready to lead this country into a political revolution.”

Later in that same speech Sanders made the comment "When I am President."

WTF?

And remember this came right after he assured the press that he would be working WITH Hillary Clinton to defeat Donald Trump.

Washington D.C. has 20 pledged delegates up for grabs, so obviously it can have no real impact on the nominating process. (Which is already over!)

There are also 26 super delegates ALL of whom are already going for Hillary Clinton. (Which also does not matter because Hillary Clinton already won!)

Lately there has been some criticism directed at me for not being more "diplomatic" or for not handling the sensitive feelings of the poor disappointed Bernie Sanders supporters with more care.

Seriously?

Every single day on this blog, that I created all by my lonesome, I get insulted repeatedly and called every name in the book. When did I ever go crying to anybody about my hurt little feelings?

This is politics, which is about the closest thing to the Roman gladiator games that you can get without actually getting stabbed or hit with a large club. (Two things by the way that have actually happened to me.)

In my opinion the Bernie Sanders supporters should have seen the writing on the wall months ago, and seen through Bernie's bullshit much much earlier.

If you failed to do that it is certainly not my job to make you feel better about your stupidity, it is my job to rub your nose in it so you do not do anything that ignorant again.

And for that you are welcome.

Chris Christie's wife cannot control her disdain as Donald Trump claims that the only thing Hillary Clinton has going for her is that she's a woman.

I have never been a fan of Mary Pat Christie but her reaction was perfect and undoubtedly spoke for millions of women across the country.

Here is the entire quote:

“Frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get five percent of the vote. The only thing she’s got going is the woman’s card. And the beautiful thing is women don’t like her, OK?”

That is so deeply misogynistic that you can almost hear women across the country gasping in frustration and rolling their wrists and stretching their fingers so that they can even vote harder for Hillary Clinton in November.

In fact, just to drive that point home, this is what one of Trump's female advisers said about women voting in 2016:

Tana Goertz, senior adviser to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, argued Wednesday that the average woman who isn't keeping up with politics or "really using her own brain" will vote for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“The average woman who isn’t really involved in politics or isn’t really using her own brain to go, 'let me see you know what does, what has this woman done for our country' — they’re just going in and saying 'I guess I should vote for her because she’s a woman,'" Goertz said in a panel discussion on CNN.

Oh yeah, I'm limbering up my wrists and fingers as well. I can hardly wait to shut this POS down in November.

That awkward moment when Donald Trump tells you he is done with you and to get your chubby ass off of his stage.

Courtesy of Addicting Info:

Thankfully, Chris Christie proved he was beyond shame when he endorsed Donald Trump for president, but this moment had to sting a little bit.

In a humiliating moment for the one-time Republican presidential candidate, a hot mic captured the way Donald Trump treats his new lap dog — and it isn’t pretty.

At a rally, Christie seemed to think he would share the stage with Trump during Trump’s portion of the event, but apparently the idea of sharing a spotlight with a former rival wasn’t something Trump was about to let happen. Shaking Christie’s hand, Trump leans in and whispers, “Get on the plane and go home. It’s over there. Go home.” Christie at first continues waving, then simply says “Okay” and walks towards the exit.

You know I don't even like Chris Christie, but that actually made me feel a little bad for him.

Well gee now we have some idea as to what Trump said to Sarah Palin before sending her scurrying back to Alaska.

Apparently Donald Trump has some contempt for those who demean themselves to curry his favor, and cannot even hide that contempt long enough for them to get off the stage.

Nancy French channels Sarah Palin's anger at Tina Fey's impression of her, by accusing SNL of being desperate. All while posing as her daughter Bristol Palin of course.

Courtesy of Brancy's blog:

I’m sure many of you saw Tina Fey, who sounds nothing like my mom, do a skit based on my Mom’s endorsement of Donald Trump.

I don’t know about you, but hearing her fake accent is like nails on a chalkboard for me!

You know you can decide for yourself whether or not Fey sounds like Palin by watching the Vine embedded below.

Oh yeah, they sound NOTHING alike. You know, except exactly.

Well at least she's right about that nails on a chalkboard thing.

Wait you're going to love this part:

I may be biased, but I think my mom trumps her in the looks department. (Especially for having three more kids and seven more years on Tina!)

Is anybody else visualizing the e-mail exchange that instigated THAT defensive remark?

But of course Nancy/Sarah/Bristol is not done yet:

Saturday Night Live and Fey have been clinging to this impersonation a little too long. It’s getting pathetic. Its been 7 years! Are they desperate for content? Or just desperate for viewers?

French then mocks the fact that SNL does not have a fancy PAC to help them buy super expensive porcupine wear, and had to make Fey's version in their costume department.

There's a "who wore it better poll" offered as well for click bait, but seriously is that even a contest?

In the other news it looks like Bristol is returning to that fake job of hers and abandoning yet another child to a nanny, or poorly qualified sibling to watch.

Oddly enough the People magazine article that featured this photo also said the following:On Dec. 23, Palin welcomed daughter Sailor Grace, whose father is former fiancé Dakota Meyer.

Uh, isn't that sort of an unsettled matter thus far?  Or does People magazine know something we don't know?

I know it's wrong for us to enjoy or laugh at this. But.....

Shouldn't be watching this.

Going to stop now.

Yep, that's enough.

I wonder if they felt that in other parts of the building?

Just a few more times, then I'm definitely going to stop.

You know I'm learning that I really don't like Chris Christie.

Imagine that.

Jeb Bush announces launch of new SuperPAC on Vine-like videos.

However if you "No hablo inglés" no worries because Jebbie can beg for money in two languages.

Here is more from Mediaite:

The Right to Rise PAC “will celebrate success and risk taking, protect liberty, cherish free enterprise, strengthen our national defense, embrace the energy revolution, fix our broken and obsolete immigration system, and give all children a better future by transforming our education system through choice, high standards and accountability,” a source told Fox News. More likely it will fund Bush staffers, polling, travel, and other campaign necessities in anticipation of a crowded primary field. The move is far and away the most aggressive yet by any presumptive 2016 nominee, and may be an attempt to intimidate other candidates out of the field.

So I guess the 2016 has now officially started?

Oh joy.

Alaska's lone Congressman twists a staffer's arm because...well because he is Don Young and that's the kind of thing that he does.

Courtesy of Roll Call:

NBC News producer Frank Thorp V caught the late-for-the-conference-meeting Alaska Republican’s manhandling of an unsuspecting staffer on camera. Per Thorp’s Twitter feed, the aide had attempted to redirect Young to enter the already in-progress GOP strategy session through another doorway when things got physical.

“While returning to the GOP conference meeting to discuss the ongoing situation on our southern border, I was caught off guard by an unidentified individual who was physically blocking me from reentering the room,” Young said in a statement. “Regardless, my reaction was wrong and I should have never placed my hands on the young man.”

I cannot tell you how embarrassed Alaskans are to have this asshole representing us.

Jacksonville Jaguar fans decide to hold rally to convince owners to hire Tim Tebow. I think you know the rest.

Courtesy of Fox Sports:

The website "Jags-Tebow Why Not?" looks like something you might have designed on a bulky desktop in a sixth-grade computer class, but its message is clear (in part because it is in all caps): "WE THE FANS, WANT THE JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS TO BRING IN TIM TEBOW. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SEE THIS HAPPEN."

On Monday, the group plans to hold a rally in the EverBank Field parking lot in support of its mission. The event will start at 3:16 p.m. ET and, naturally, will last 3 hours and 16 minutes.

The site argues that "when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose," and asks, "What's the worst that could happen if they signed Tebow? That fans might actually want to buy a ticket or click on the TV and watch them?"

Seems like a reasonable idea right? I mean if nobody will watch your games because they are entertaining or competitive, perhaps they will tune in to poke fun at the Jesus loving Right Wing icon.

So Monday happened, and so did the rally.

Let's see how that panned out shall we?

Poor guys. As you can see, there wasn’t much of a turnout. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the video below and judge for yourself.

Trust me, there aren’t any people hiding behind cars. They couldn’t even muster a baker’s dozen. In fact, I think more people showed up for the Florida Panthers’ preseason game.

You know the jokes just write themselves at this point.
