Courtesy of Axios:
In private, President Trump has taken to physically mocking M&M: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (slumped shoulders; lethargic body language) and Sen. John McCain (imitating the thumbs-down of his historic health-care vote).
Trump is venting about his frustration with what he considers failed leadership by Senate Republicans as he takes his lumps this week in wars with, well, everyone.
Axios also reports that Trump is feeling like a whipped dog since it seems he simply cannot get a win.
Whether it be the NFL players, Kim Jong Un, moderate Republicans, Robert Mueller, or even his own former adviser Steve Bannon, it seems that EVERYBODY is defying him and coming out on top.
That makes Trump especially dangerous.
He hates to lose, and at this point he desperately needs a win, so that could really manifest itself in a variety of destructive ways.

Mississippi Tea party challenger refuses to accept that he lost election, decides to file suit to force Republican party officials to say he won by 25,000 votes.

The moment Mississippi voters should have seen this coming. |
Mississippi State Sen. Chris McDaniel officially announced the beginning of a legal effort to challenge the results of his primary fight against six-term incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran.
The campaign formally filed a challenge with the Mississippi Republican Party’s executive committee, the official first step to mounting a legal challenge.
Even though McDaniel was beaten by 7.600 votes, and those votes were unanimously certified by the Republican party's executive committee, he has refused to concede.
And now after his volunteers have spent that last month or so combing through voter rolls they think they have found enough questionable votes to give the election to their candidate. How surprising.
The McDaniel camp is not asking for another runoff, they simply want the election given to them, and allow McDaniel to win by 25,000 phantom votes.
Holy crap did Mississippi dodge a bullet with this guy!

Mississippi GOP certifies Cochran win over McDaniel. Is that the sound of Teabagger hearts breaking I hear?

"Wait are you gong to believe me, or the professional election officials?" |
The Mississippi Republican Party says U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran won the state's Republican primary runoff over challenger Chris McDaniel by 7,667 votes.
The party sent results to the Secretary of State on Monday, the legal deadline.
The GOP's numbers showed Cochran winning by more than the 6,800 votes counted by The Associated Press after the June election. Tallies change as county parties examine provisional ballots and finalize results.
If you guessed that McDaniel has no intention of accepting these results and giving up his fight for a do over, well you are absolutely right:
State Sen. Chris McDaniel’s attorney confirmed Monday the campaign’s plans to challenge the results of last month’s Senate runoff, arguing the only solution is to hold a new election for the GOP nomination.
McDaniel lost to Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., in the June 24 GOP runoff by about 6,700 votes. Since then, McDaniel’s allies have contested the results and his team offered a cash prize for anyone who can provide evidence of voter fraud.
“The correct remedy is a new election,” said Mitch Tyner, lead counsel for the McDaniel campaign. He added campaign volunteers have reviewed runoff results in 82 counties and have found evidence of voter fraud.
“I don’t know the exact numbers,” said Tyner, speaking in front of the Hinds County Courthouse in Jackson. “I know there’s several thousand that are absolutely ineligible voters.”
Once the review is complete, Tyner said, the legal challenge will be filed with the Mississippi Republican Party and later for a judicial review.
Kind of reminds of a kindergarten class I had where the little fat kid kept telling everybody he was the fastest runner no matter how many times he was beaten in a race.
I always wondered what happened to that kid.

Mitt Romney's son claims he never wanted to be President anyway. So there!
![]() |
"Yeah I didn't want your stupid President job anyhow. Besides my house is TWICE as big as the White House!" |
“He wanted to be president less than anyone I’ve met in my life. He had no desire to . . . run,” said Tagg, who worked with his mother, Ann, to persuade his father to seek the presidency. “If he could have found someone else to take his place . . . he would have been ecstatic to step aside.
Oh please! Mitt Romney, the guy that has been planning to run for the Presidency his entire adult life, and ran in both 2008 and 2012, DIDN'T want to be the President?
The guy who was so arrogantly assured that he WOULD be President, that he didn't even bother to write a concession speech, instead only having an acceptance speech written, did NOT want to be President?
The guy that was SO devastated by the fact that he lost the election that he spent the weeks directly afterward moping around the country like a hobo with a broken heart did not WANT the job of President?
Seriously?
how fucking stupid does this family think the American people are?
Oh yeah, they think they are stupid enough to have actually elected Mitt Romney as President of the United States, THAT'S how stupid they think we are!
This is the kind of thing that a school boy says after he challenges somebody to a foot race and loses. "Yeah I didn't want to win anyway! If I had, I would have totally beat you!"
And here I thought Mitt Romney and his family could NOT get anymore pathetic.
