So Donald Trump is even being mocked on Craigslist.

Courtesy of The Hill:

A Craiglist ad mocking President Trump over reports he's having difficulty finding lawyers to represent him has gained traction on Twitter.

The ad, “Seeking lead attorney for difficult client,” was posted Tuesday by an anonymous user, who lists their contact information under the name “General John,” referring to chief of staff John Kelly.

“Seeking a lead attorney to represent client involved in an ongoing Federal investigation,” the ad reads. “Working knowledge of social media, especially Twitter is a plus, as is a better than average knowledge of the adult film industry and a collection of Playboy magazines from 1985-2010.”

The Craigslist ad includes specific wishes for applicants’ physical appearance.

“Must look the part — Gregory Peck or Tommy Lee Jones type,” the ad reads. “Prior appearances on Fox News a huge plus. No fatties.”

“Must be prepared to work with a client who is very forceful and opinionated about his defense and is his own best counsel,” it continues. “Basically your job boils down to keeping him from testifying under oath and hoping the rest comes out in the wash.”

“Prior appearances on Fox News a huge plus. No fatties.” Well that's pretty on point.

Donald Trump is even being mocked at the Olympics.

Courtesy of Yes Plz:

President Donald Trump pushed, clawed, and bullied his way into office on an “America First” platform. At first listen that sounds okay—“yeah, America is great, we should take of ourselves.” But it’s really just a more euphemistic way of saying “Make America Great Again,” of which the second, unstated part is, “at the expense of everyone else.”

There was bound to be some razzing of Trump by other countries on the world stage, and it finally happened yesterday, after the women’s 3,000-meter speed skating. The Netherlands completely dominated—Dutch athletes took first, second, and third in the event, making for a full sweep and 100 percent Dutch representation on the medals podium.

That’s when two women in the stands unfurled the flag of the Netherlands—red, white, and blue like the American flag, but all striped—with a message written on it.

Can't really blame them.

I mean is there anybody on the planet more mock-able than Donald Trump?

And good for the Dutch!

Taking first, second, and third in any Olympic event is a huge accomplishment.

Donald Trump has now taken to mocking John McCain and Mitch McConnell in private.

Courtesy of Axios:

In private, President Trump has taken to physically mocking M&M: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (slumped shoulders; lethargic body language) and Sen. John McCain (imitating the thumbs-down of his historic health-care vote).

Trump is venting about his frustration with what he considers failed leadership by Senate Republicans as he takes his lumps this week in wars with, well, everyone.

Axios also reports that Trump is feeling like a whipped dog since it seems he simply cannot get a win.

Whether it be the NFL players, Kim Jong Un, moderate Republicans, Robert Mueller, or even his own former adviser Steve Bannon, it seems that EVERYBODY is defying him and coming out on top.

That makes Trump especially dangerous.

He hates to lose, and at this point he desperately needs a win, so that could really manifest itself in a variety of destructive ways.

Alec Baldwin returns to SNL to mock Trump's response to Charlottesville.

Courtesy of Rolling Stone:

Alec Baldwin dusted off his Saturday Night Live Donald Trump impersonation on Thursday's Weekend Update: Summer Edition. He lampooned the president's controversial response to the Charlottesville tragedy, defensive Phoenix rally and bizarre choice to stare directly at the sun during the solar eclipse.

"How about that eclipse, folks, huh?" Trump said onstage during the mock rally, wearing sunglasses. "A lot of people don't know this, but you can damage your eyes while looking at an eclipse.

"After praising the mostly white crowd as "fantastic," Trump attempted to "set the record straight" by clarifying his widely criticized response to the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"You have a group on one side that's very bad, neo-Nazis, and you had a group on the other side' – and then I didn't say a single word after that," he said.

Must keep our sense of humor.

It is what sustained me through eight years of George W. Bush and by gosh it will sustain me through the predicted year and a half of the Trump presidency.

Now even Reebok is mocking Donald Trump over his inappropriate remarks to the French President's wife.

Courtesy of The Hill:

The sports brand Reebok is mocking President Trump’s compliments of French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife that were made during Trump's visit to France last week.

The sports apparel company posted a graphic to their Twitter account on Friday.

In a chart, labeled “when is it appropriate to say, ‘You’re in such good shape…beautiful’” several scenarios are listed, including “Are you a world leader greeting the spouse of a head of state?” and “Are you in an elevator with a woman." In response, the company advises: “No.”

“Did you just find a forgotten action figure from your youth, unscathed after decades, in your parents’ basement?” is the only scenario on the chart that is labeled as appropriate for Trump’s quote.

Of course the ad is in response to this interaction between Trump and  First Lady Brigitte Macron.

Mocked on television, mocked in the news, and now even mocked in advertisements.

I guess this is what the Trumpsters call "winning?"

Donald Trump admits that he got that fake Sweden attack story from Fox News, and then attacks media for pointing out it was fake.

So to be clear it was not the fault of Fox News for reporting a now debunked fake news story, or Donald Trump's fault for then exaggerating it to make a point.

Instead it is the fault of the media for doing their job to point out that the story is false.

Interesting.

Does that mean that all of these tweets from Sweden mocking Trump for making shit up about their country  are ALSO fake?

Trust me, there are many more at the link.

But see that's the thing.

After being mocked during the Bush administration for having a barely coherent, short bus riding, moron in the White House, we then had eight years of the coolest, most intelligent, leader on the planet.

During those eight years other countries looked at us with envy.

And then what happens? We end up with a guy so ill informed and stupid that he makes George W. Bush look like an intellectual giant.

Meryl Streep uses Golden Globe speech to slam Donald Trump.

Courtesy of CNN:

Meryl Streep was honored at the Golden Globes for a lifetime of notable work, and she took the opportunity to make a sustained attack on US President-elect Donald Trump.

In a nearly 6-minute address while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the actress denounced Trump's campaign rhetoric and criticized him for mocking a disabled reporter.

As the audience of Hollywood stars and executives sat in silence, Streep said: "There was one performance this year that stunned me. It sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good, there was nothing good about it, but it was effective and it did its job.

"It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter. Someone he outranked in privilege, power and the capacity to fight back."

I think we all remember that moment when during the campaign Trump mocked New York Time reporter, Serge Kovalski, for having the temerity to point out that there was no way he saw "thousands" of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City, N.J., as the World Trade Center towers burned and fell during the 9/11 terror attack.

Trump and his flying monkeys have attempted to make excuses or deny that it happened, but we all saw it.

However Trump being Trump he not only felt the need to once again deny that he did this, but then to attack one of our most beloved entertainers as well.
This, THIS is the guy who supposed to lead out country for the next four years.

Sarah Palin apparently feels that she is in a position to mock the CIA.

You know if you are ever feeling ambiguous about what to believe when it comes to reporting on a certain topic, just wait until the Wasilla Wendigo weighs in and then you will know that the correct position is the opposite of whatever stupid thing she says.

Seriously, it never fails.

Actually Palin is a couple of beats behind here, as I reported yesterday the entire Right Wing propaganda machine has already decided to dismiss any facts that challenge Trump's presidency, and to attack anyone who points out that he had to have the Russians, Wikileaks, and the FBI help him to defeat a woman.  (You know a woman, like the ones that he has demeaned and sexually assaulted all through his life.)

By the way speaking of "the defeated" how is life treating the woman who was once seriously considered to be a contender for the White House someday?

Stephen Colbert brilliantly responds to Sarah Palin's Facebook post about her "rock running" injury.

Courtesy of Decider:

“Governor Palin, I hope you rest up there heck what with the rock-running and the stone-skipping and the boulder-bingo. Remember my middle name is Tyrone with with the media coverup with the danger zone and everybody cutting footloose loosey-goosey good for the gander, good for the planner of the Down Dog wedding. Hey! The cookies are ready! Track Trig Trig Track Break your momma’s back – why? Because our veterans. Drill baby drill! Try our mozzarella sticks! Ask me about free shipping. God bless it. Just leave it alone, voices.”

Yep that sounds exactly like her.

However for my money nothing beats Stephen Colbert's response to Sarah Palin's bizarre take on Paul Revere's ride.

Late night punchline, just like I predicted back in 2009.

There now exists in the world the "Donald Trump has tiny hands" SuperPAC. Sure why not?

Courtesy of Crooks and Liars:

A spokesman for the SuperPac, Henry Kraemer was interviewed by KATU News. He said the following:

"A lot of people have voiced concern about giving a man with Donald Trump's experience and temperament the nuclear launch codes. We are not sure if it means anything to give him the launch codes, because we don't know if his stubby little fingers can push the buttons down all the way.

If we cant trust him about his hands, which any child can see are tiny, what can we trust him on? If you can't trust a mans handshake, how can you trust their word?"

I might usually consider this a little undignified concerning a presidential candidate, but this is Donald Trump and he invites this kind of ridicule himself.

Besides it's the kind of thing he might feel obligated to respond to publicly and that just makes it all the more entertaining.

Here is SNL's cold open from last night mocking Sarah Palin and featuring the amazing Tina Fey.

Okay that was awesome!

And you know the truly frightening thing is that if you close your eyes Fey sounds almost EXACTLY like Palin. Except when you look at her she is so much better looking.

Speaking of Palin, and you know she wants us to, Maureen Dowd had a rather interesting article published in the New York Times which explains how Palin has liberated people who are now allowed to openly criticize her without being called "sexist."

Here is a taste of what she wrote:

But when Palin turned out to be utterly unqualified and unintelligible, spouting her own special Yoda-like language, it did not reflect poorly on women as a whole — only on her and John McCain. What the hell were you thinking, Senator?

Ordinarily, it’s considered sexist to call a woman shrill. But Palin liberated us on that score. She really is shrill.

Ordinarily, it’s dicey to focus on what a woman in politics is wearing. But again, Palin has freed us up. She sported a cardigan so gaudy and rogue at her Iowa endorsement of Donald Trump (the man who viciously mocked her former running mate’s war record) that we would be remiss not to mention that it was the sartorial reflection of Palin and Trump themselves.

Ordinarily, you have to tread gingerly in critiquing a working woman on her mothering skills. But Palin’s brawling brood runs so wild around the state she once governed, in a way that is so contrary to her evangelistic, sanctimonious homilies on family values, that it seems only Christian to advise her to study the Obamas to see what exceptional parenting looks like.

I LOVE that last line.

Boy I remember back to the days when damage con-trolls rushed over here to call me a sexist and a misogynist.

I guess I have Sarah Palin to thank for forever undermining their attack strategies.

Yeah, I'm not going to say thank you.

Our friend Betty Bowers has weighed in on Bristol Palin's little bundle of responsibilities as well.

Ah, you can always count on Betty to bring the funny.

While we are once again on the topic you might enjoy the Daily Mail's article on the birth as well as Wonkette's not to be missed article.

You know I think this most recent birth is going to provide plenty of material for many posts to come.

I think there is a lot going on here.

Trump mocks reporter's disability, then denies mocking reporter's disability, demands apology from mocked reporter's newspaper.

Courtesy of the Washington Post:

A day after he was widely rebuked for mocking a reporter with a physical disability, business mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump on Thursday denied that he had done so and accused the reporter of “using his disability to grandstand.”

Trump also demanded an apology from the New York Times, the reporter’s employer, which earlier in the week issued a statement condemning Trump for ridiculing “the appearance of one of our reporters.”

The incident occurred Tuesday at a rally in South Carolina, as Trump was defending his recent claim that he had witnessed thousands of Muslims cheering in New Jersey on Sept. 11, 2001, as the World Trade Center towers collapsed. On stage, Trump berated Times investigative reporter Serge Kovaleski for his recent recollection of an article he wrote a few days after the attacks, which Trump has been citing to defend his claim.

Trump appeared to mock Kovaleski’s physical condition; the reporter has arthrogryposis, which visibly limits flexibility in his arms.

Part of Trump's defense is that he does not even remember meeting this reporter, so how could he mock his appearance?

In his statement Thursday, Trump said:

“I have no idea who this reporter, Serge Kovalski [sic] is, what he looks like or his level of intelligence. I don’t know if he is J.J. Watt or Muhammad Ali in his prime — or somebody of less athletic or physical ability. Despite having one of the all-time great memories I certainly do not remember him.”

“Kovaleski must think a lot of himself if he thinks I remember him from decades ago — if I ever met him at all, which I doubt I did,” Trump said. “He should stop using his disability to grandstand and get back to reporting for a paper that is rapidly going down the tubes.”

So Trump claims to have one of the "all-time great memories" which apparently does not retain information that might make him look like an asshole.

How handy.

That must be helpful when Trump makes insults about a woman's face,   mocks a celebrities weight, or accuses a reporter of bleeding from "wherever."

Bristol reveals the name of her new baby. No seriously, this is the name.

Courtesy of Bristol's Pikore account:

when you find out @kristincavallari named her baby the exact name you are naming yours 🙀😳 what a weird coincidence .. congrats on your new bundle, and I do love her name.. Still naming my baby girl Sailor! 🙊😻❤️

Well we all know that the Palins REALLY like to name their children unusual names, but after a military branch of the service?

At least Kristin Cavallari had the intelligence to change the spelling a little.

I mean come on, a Palin named "Sailor," with the reputation that Bristol has? There is no way this is not going to result in hours of teasing from this little girl's schoolmates.

And you know here's a the thing. I actually tried to help.

As some of you might remember a little over a month ago, I wrote a post about potential baby names.

I received a lot of criticism, but in fact there was a method to my mocking.

Because you know sometimes I hear things.

So in my post I wrote the following:

Or perhaps she wants to honor the military by naming it after a branch of the service or a specific rank, such as Ranger Palin, or Sailor Palin, or Private Palin, or First Specialist Palin.

You know I thought that maybe, just maybe, seeing the name she picked for her child subjected to a little teasing by a liberal blog her family hates before it's birth, MIGHT just convince her to go in another direction.

However such was not the case.

So yes it appears that there will actually be a Sailor Palin.

Assuming of course she does not have a baby daddy that she is planning to blame for not pulling out.

In which case we might instead see a Sailor Meyer or Sailor Junker.

Yep, the kid does not stand a chance.

But hey, I tried.

I love it when President Obama trolls the Republicans.

Courtesy of the You Tube site:

US President Barack Obama has hit out at his Republican rivals, accusing them of being "so down on America" and always suggesting that "everything is terrible".

"They are gloomy. They are like Grumpy Cat," the president added, comedically referencing the feline internet sensation, as he addressed the Democratic national committee's women's leadership forum.

Have to admit, he DOES have a point.

Donald Trump: Our country is in serious trouble. We don't have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don't have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let's say China in a trade deal?

Jeb Bush: “If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done, then I don’t want any part of it. I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives. That is not my motivation. I’ve got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them. That is a joke. Elect Trump if you want that,” he said.

Ted Cruz: “You look at our Constitution, you look at our Bill of Rights, this is an administration that seems bound and determined to violate every single one of our Bill or Rights,” he said, adding “I don’t know that they’ve yet violated the Third Amendment, but I expect them to start quartering soldiers in people’s homes soon.”

Ben Carson: “I mean very much like Nazi Germany — and I know you’re not supposed to talk about Nazi Germany but I don’t care about political correctness — you know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate a population,” Carson said. “We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe, and it's because of the PC police, it's because of politicians, because of news — all of these things are combining to stifle people's conversation.”

Yeah I think the President is really onto something here.

Stop telling Bristol Palin to shut up! As long as she has a ghostwriter putting words in her mouth she doesn't have to!!!!!!!!

This is the actual picture that Bristol.Nancy/Sarah chose for this post. I'm not mocking.
Courtesy of Brancy's blog:

Everyone’s telling me to shut up about commenting on the issue in Washington State… Do they not realize what is going on? (I'm going to say "yes" here.)

You have to get a parents approval to take aspirin or ibuprofen at school, you have to have your parents present to go tanning in a tanning bed, or get your eye brows waxed, or get your belly button or ears pierced. But girls as young as 10 – YES I SAID 10 – can get an IUD put in without their parents knowing???????

How is that NOT black and white to people? (Uh..because it's NOT black and white?)

I know I’m the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!)

(She said it, not me.)

But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body. (I told you it was a girl.)

I’m not against birth control by ANY MEANS so do not twist my words. But I am against the government going between a parent and a child at such a young age. THERE IS A BIG DAMN DIFFERENCE. 10-11-12 year olds don’t know what’s best for them.

Their parents do.

(Yes but these IUDs are implanted with a surgical procedure, which requires a doctor. And surely even Bristol Palin recognizes that doctors are perfectly capable of telling their patients what is good or not good for them.)

So anyone who’s saying I have “no place to talk” .. Let’s look at the issue – the important part of this entire blog post – why I brought it to your attention.

WE as parents know what’s best for our young daughters – NOT the government. (For clarifications sake the "government" is NOT placing IUDs in the bodies of little girls. Doctors do that. And just for a moment imagine the likelihood of a ten year old girl transporting herself to a clinic in order to get an IUD all on her own. More than likely if any ten year olds have received these, they did so with their parents fully aware.)

Okay now I am not at this point certain whether Nancy French has been channeling Bristol so long that she is now typing like a barely educated Wasillabilly or if in fact Brislt wrote all or part of this.

I will let you decide.

However it is worth noting that whoever is the driving force behind these posts, and it could very well be Sarah herself, they are becoming increasingly defensive and combative.

Which makes it seem that somebody, or perhaps a couple of somebodies, are on the verge of a complete, and very public, breakdown.

Well I've got my popcorn.

Note to Jeb Bush. Don't stand in front of a green screen.

I have no idea what Jeb! was doing when this picture was taken, but I do know what happened afterward.

The internet had itself a little fun.

Okay so the internet had a LOT of fun.

To be fair these geniuses could have done this even without the green screen.

But let's face it, by standing if front of one Jeb! was just asking for it.

Hey maybe one of these guys can photoshop some charisma or an actual personality onto Bush. That might actually help.

Ted Cruz announces he is running for President and is immediately mocked. How do they mock him? By comparing him to Sarah Palin of course.

Courtesy of Salon:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) declared that he will be running for president Sunday night on Twitter, so it’s only appropriate that the people of Twitter are now coming out in droves to help the first major candidate in the race write a slogan. Kind of.

Cruz noted in the video uploaded with his tweet, “I believe in America and her people, and I believe we can stand up and restore our promise.” Let’s just say, if the Twitter trending topic #TedCruzCampaignSlogans is an accurate metric, people are having a much more challenging time returning that same belief to the champion of local control.

Here are a few tweets "celebrating" Cruz's announcement:

For those with the stomach, and I have to admit I am not among them, here is video of Cruz's announcement today at Liberty University.

By the way apparently attendance for this announcement was mandatory for the students, because you know announcing you want to be President to an empty auditorium is just awkward.

Mocked on Twitter, constantly compared to Sarah Palin, and having your audience threatened into listening to you. Yep the Cruz campaign is off to a rollicking start.

Update: Oh yeah people are really running with this:

Update: Wait, there's more:

Okay, THAT'S pretty funny.

Israel has their own version of Sarah Palin. And no that is not a term of endearment.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

The most powerful woman in Israel’s ruling Likud party has just moved into a trailer. Knesset member Miri Regev, the party’s attack dog and the closest thing Israel has to Sarah Palin, boarded the mobile home—attached to an Audi SUV—last week ready to crisscross the country campaigning for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a man who never wanted her to be the face of the party to so many Israelis.

She admits that the trailer, decorated with the Likud’s blue colors and emblazoned with her face, is a gimmick, but it’s one that fits her well. She is, after all, the queen of media stunts—and a frequent object of mockery by Israeli journalists and satirists.

Well I think comparing her to Sarah Palin is a bit much, I mean does she really have that much in common with Klondike Kardashian?

Regev is one of the only Israeli politicians who could pull off such a stunt. The soon-to-be-50-year-old mother of three, fifth on the Likud list, is an outspoken politician who embodies a flag-waving, gung-ho brand of Zionism, and a folksy, sneering attitude towards the Israeli Left and the country’s media elites.

Well okay, that sounds about right then.

I love this kind of thing.

Once Palin was seriously whispered about as a serious potential presidential candidate in 2012.

But these days she is almost exclusively used as the punchline to a joke or as the barometer for measuring bad politicians.

This week's cover for Charlie Hebdo. Clearly not cowering in fear.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Charlie Hebdo revealed their cover image for this week's issue, printed just days after two gunmen opened fire on the newspaper's Paris office, killing 12 people. Four of the Charlie's cartoonists were killed in the attack.

The cover shows the Prophet Muhammad holding a "Je Suis Charlie" sign with the caption, "All is forgiven."

There will be over a million copies printed whereas usually the paper only prints 60,000.

You know because terrorism works so well.
