I cannot think of a better way to wrap up this extraordinary news day than with Donald Trump's statement eviscerating Steve Bannon.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

President Trump essentially excommunicated his onetime chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, from his political circle on Wednesday, excoriating him as a self-promoting exaggerator who had “very little to do with our historic victory” and has now “lost his mind.”

In a written statement brimming with anger and resentment, Mr. Trump fired back at Mr. Bannon, who had made caustic comments about the president and his family to the author of a new book about the Trump White House. While Mr. Bannon had remained in touch with Mr. Trump even after being pushed out of the White House last summer, the two now appear to have reached a breaking point.

“Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency,” Mr. Trump said in the statement. “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.”

Mr. Trump berated Mr. Bannon for the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama and said the former adviser did not represent his base but was “only in it for himself.” Rather than supporting the president’s agenda to “make America great again,” Mr. Bannon was “simply seeking to burn it all down,” Mr. Trump said.

“Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was,” he added. “It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.”

I love this so much I can barely stand it.

Watching these two arrogant assholes rip each other apart in public is almost like a second Christmas.

I think the last time I took such joy in reporting facts, which backed up what people had believed all along, was when I reported on the Palin Anchorage brawl.

We KNEW that Trump did not expect to win, and that is now confirmed.

We KNEW that he had no plan to implement policies if he won, and now that has been confirmed.

We KNEW that the Trump White House functioned like a badly written reality show full of drama and infighting among the "cast members," and now that has been confirmed.

And we KNEW that this White House would self destruct at some point, and now we are watching that happen in real time.

My only hope is that there is something left of the presidency for the Democrat who is going to be elected at some point to come in and clean up this mess.

Trump supporter David A. Clarke seems to be losing his shit. Update!

You guys remember this tweet right?

I wrote a whole post on it.

Now you may notice that tweet actually contains photographic evidence that Clarke is under investigation by the FBI.

Well not so fast there hombre, according to Clarke this is all "fake news" which he announced on Twitter in a rather.....let's say "colorful" fashion.

Oh yeah, that's a Trump supporter alright.

Well this was reported to Twitter since it seemed to foment violence against the media.

However Twitter decided to punt.

This was Clarke's response to that decision.
You know I think at this point it is reasonable to ask if any of Trump's supporters are NOT simply internet trolls that stepped out of the shadows?

Update: Here is at least one of the now deleted tweets.

And here is a new one that has not yet been deleted.
Actually the hat does not drive me crazy so much as it makes me wonder if he has cowboy Underoos to go along with it?

New book paints Donald Trump as glutton for fast food and raving lunatic. And this was written by supporters.

So the Washington Post got their hands on a preview copy of Corey Lewandowski's tell all book about the Trump campaign called "Let Trump Be Trump."

Which is kind of an ironic title since the book is filled with examples of what a terrible personality Trump has and how volatile and mercurial his temper can be.

Here are a few examples.

Trump's temper:

“Sooner or later, everybody who works for Donald Trump will see a side of him that makes you wonder why you took a job with him in the first place,” the authors wrote. “His wrath is never intended as any personal offense, but sometimes it can be hard not to take it that way. The mode that he switches into when things aren’t going his way can feel like an all-out assault; it’d break most hardened men and women into little pieces.”

The authors “both had moments where they wanted to parachute off Trump Force One,” but they said they got used to it

.In a section of the book written by Lewandowski, Trump is described as flying on his helicopter when he learns that Manafort has said “Trump shouldn’t be on television anymore, that he shouldn’t be on the Sunday shows” and that Manafort should appear instead. Trump was angrier than Lewandowski had ever seen him, ordering the pilot to lower the altitude so he could make a cellphone call.

“Did you say I shouldn’t be on TV on Sunday? I’ll go on TV anytime I g--dam f---ing want and you won’t say another f---ing word about me!” Trump yelled at Manafort, according to Lewandowski. “Tone it down? I wanna turn it up! . . . You’re a political pro? Let me tell you something. I’m a pro at life. I’ve been around a time or two. I know guys like you, with your hair and skin . . .”

Lewandowski called it “one of the greatest takedowns in the history of the world.”

Trump's gluttony:

Trump’s fast-food diet is a theme. “On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke,” the authors write.

The plane’s cupboards were stacked with Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels and many packages of Oreos because Trump, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package.

The book notes that “the orchestrating and timing of Mr. Trump’s meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency,” and it describes the elaborate efforts that Lewandowski and other top aides went through to carefully time their delivery of hot fast food to Trump’s plane as he was departing his rallies.

Lewandowski described a typical Trump dinner order  as consisting of  "Two Big Macs, two Filet-o-fish sandwiches, and a chocolate malt."

And this was not a weekend binge meal, this was a consistent meal choice.

Hope Hicks:

One of Hicks’s jobs was to make sure that Trump’s suits were pressed when they flew on his plane. “

‘Get the machine!’ ” Trump would yell, according to the book. “And Hope would take out the steamer and start steaming Mr. Trump’s suit, while he was wearing it! She’d steam the jacket first and then sit in a chair in front of him and steam his pants.”

One day, when Hicks forgot the steamer, Trump became angry.

“G--dammit, Hope! How the hell could you forget the machine?”

The authors wrote, “It was a mistake she would never make again.”

Oh yeah, she's doing him.

Lewandowski and his co-author, former senior campaign aide David Bossie, still express support for Trump which kind of makes you wonder what the books that come out about Trump from people who eventually turned on him will contain.

Trump supporters are burning their MAGA hats in frustration over possible immigration deal with Democrats.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Supporters of President Donald Trump are still furious about his decision to work with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on helping to shield undocumented immigrants who were brought into the United States as children from being deported.

Now some Trump fans have taken their displeasure a step further and have started setting their “Make America Great Again” hats on fire to protest Trump seemingly going soft on his signature campaign issue.

Oh these folks are just a special kind of stupid aren't they?

Did they really think that Trump could keep the ridiculous promises he made to them during the campaign? And do they really believe that burning their hats will bend him to their will?

Those are both rhetorical questions of course, because we already know the answers.

Just in case you ever wondered about the intelligence of the average Trump voter.

Wonder no more.

Gee I wonder what ole Chris Christie has been up to? Oh, just yelling at baseball fans again.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie got into a spat with a baseball fan at a game in Milwaukee on Sunday, his latest public relations snafu to cap a month of snafus.

In a video posted to Twitter, Christie is seen leaning over a fan who heckled him, angrily calling the man a “big shot” before storming away with a bowl of nachos.

A local news reporter for the station WISN12, Ben Hutchison, said he was a relative of the man Christie confronted, Brad Joseph. Joseph told the outlet he yelled the governor’s name “and told him that he sucked,” which sparked the encounter.

“I called him a hypocrite because I thought it needed to be said. He turned around back towards me and got in my face for what seemed like a long time, but was probably only about 30 seconds or a minute. (He) was yelling at me. First he told me, ‘Why don’t you have another beer?’ which I thought was a decent come back, and I thought that was kind of funny. Then he started calling me a tough guy.”

Speaking of "tough guy" I wonder how tough Christie would be without all of that Secret Service protection?

Besides what is the governor with the lowest approval rating in the country so mad about?

All the guy did was tell the truth.

Oh that's right, these GOP thugs are allergic to anything resembling the truth.

Donald Trump is now apparently pissed off at his own Attorney General. Probably because he cannot make the Russia investigations go away.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Few Republicans were quicker to embrace President Trump’s campaign last year than Jeff Sessions, and his reward was one of the most prestigious jobs in America. But more than four months into his presidency, Mr. Trump has grown sour on Mr. Sessions, now his attorney general, blaming him for various troubles that have plagued the White House.

The discontent was on display on Monday in a series of stark early-morning postings on Twitter in which the president faulted his own Justice Department for its defense of his travel ban on visitors from certain predominantly Muslim countries. Mr. Trump accused Mr. Sessions’s department of devising a “politically correct” version of the ban — as if the president had nothing to do with it.

In private, the president’s exasperation has been even sharper. He has intermittently fumed for months over Mr. Sessions’s decision to recuse himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in last year’s election, according to people close to Mr. Trump who insisted on anonymity to describe internal conversations. In Mr. Trump’s view, they said, it was that recusal that eventually led to the appointment of a special counsel who took over the investigation.

Check out Spicey's response when he was asked whether Trump still has confidence in Session courtesy of HuffPo:

White House press secretary Sean Spicer refused to answer a question on Tuesday about whether President Donald Trump still has confidence in Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

“I don’t have a comment on that,” Spicer told reporters during his daily briefing, when asked to describe the president’s confidence in Sessions. Pressed further, Spicer said, “I have not had that discussion with [Trump], and if I haven’t had a discussion about a subject, I tend not to speak about it.”

Now you would simply expect the spokesperson to say 'Of course he still has confidence in his Attorney General, what a silly question." But since that was not the response that only  lends credibility to the New York Times reporting.

Then late last night the Washington Post reported this:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions offered to resign at one point in recent months after his relationship with President Trump grew increasingly tense, according to two people close to the White House.

I have to say that I am looking forward to the inevitable deterioration of Trump's Administration as these investigations move forward.

At some point each member of his cabinet is going to have to assess whether it is better for their career to stick it out the bitter end, or jump ship while the jumping is good.

I wonder just how long Sessions will continue to bail water on this president's behalf.

“You wish you were being f*cked by me.” New Jersey Councilman Richard Jassterzbski may be the new face of the Republican party.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

GOP Councilman Richard Jassterzbski has been accused of harassment after yelling at and berating Susan Enderly-Peracchio, a Passaic County Regular Republican Organization employee.

“You wish you were being f*cked by me,” Jasterzbski said, according to a video filmed by Enderly-Peracchio’s daughter. “You don’t have to worry about me penetrating you at all. You wanted fair and square and you should have been satisfied with that, but you stood there and you let them corrupt the system of political process.”

Jassterzbski said he will not apologize to Enderly-Peracchio.

“I give the same amount of respect to anyone and I deserve the same amount of respect back,” he said. “I will defend myself and defend the voters and residents of the 1st Ward, as I have for the last 3-and-a-half years.”

Damn it just goes on and on doesn't it?

Here is a little context courtesy of Wayne Patch:

A police report on the incident states that Enderly-Peracchio was at the facility filing paperwork with her daughter, Taylor, when Jasterzbski entered and was "yelling and cursing at her as he approached." He accused her of taking a candidate's sign out of the headquarters' front window, the report said.

Enderly-Peracchio said she was concerned for her safety while he was yelling in her face, the report states.

"She believed she was going to strike her or her daughter during the incident," the police report states.

Enderly-Peracchio's other daughter, Danielle, arrived and approached Jasterzbski and pulled his arm and moved him away from her mother, police reported.

Jasterzbski reportedly yelled at Enderly-Peracchio in the past about other issues, but she did not report the incidents to the police, according to the report.

Just another day in Donald Trump's America kids.

Sources say James Comey furious at his treatment by Donald Trump.

Courtesy of ABC News:

Former FBI Director James Comey was furious at the lack of respect the White House showed him in the way he was fired, sources have told ABC News.

Associates say he is simmering at some of the comments directed at him by White House staffers, who have used words like "atrocities" to describe his actions as director.

One person close to the former director said that President Trump calling Comey a "showboat" and suggesting he is not "competent" has required Comey to show considerable restraint.

(No no, don't show restraint, speak man speak!)

A source said they expect that at some point Comey will respond to Trump -- but it is uncertain when that would be. For now, Comey has taken a few days to gather himself, particularly given how caught off guard he was by the timing of the firing.

So perhaps he will speak..I don't know....next Tuesday to that Senate Intelligence Committee?

As for Trump's attempts to threaten Comey, consider that bluff called:
Oh man, I think we are ALL hoping there are tapes.

There are also reports that FBI agents are scrambling to make progress on the Russian investigation for fear the Trump Administration will "kneecap" it before it reaches a conclusion.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Two well-connected former FBI employees told The Daily Beast that counterintelligence agents working on the Russian counterintelligence program out of FBI headquarters in downtown Washington met for drinks in the hours after their boss’s firing and shared their concerns: that they would be reassigned elsewhere, and their work on the Russian-Trump associates investigation would come to a grinding halt.

There are also Right Wing operatives, including our own Sarah Palin, who argue that Comey was not popular among FBI agents.

However that was refuted by Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe who said that Comey had "broad support" within the agency.

And it is also refuted by this:

The Daily Beast said at least a dozen agents posted images on their private Facebook pages of themselves with Mr Comey, or else of Mr Comey alone.

The gesture is apparently usually reserved for a colleague who dies in the line of duty.

I think it is pretty clear that Trump has kicked a hornet's nest.

Let the stinging begin.

Texas Senator gets so incensed over testimony against anti-abortion bill that he shatters a table with his gavel. Temper temper.

That last sound you heard was the glass on top of the table shattering.
Here is more on this courtesy of the San Antonio Current:

It only took state Sen. Charles Schwertner ten minutes of listening to testimony against anti-abortion bills before he broke a table.

Schwertner, the Republican chair of the Texas Senate's Committee on Health and Human Services, spent Wednesday morning introducing and defending a bill that would ban most women from donating fetal tissue from their abortions to science. His legislation was bundled with two other anti-abortion bills — one to throw out the safest abortion procedure for second-trimester pregnancies, the other to mandate all abortion remains are buried and cremated — penned by two other GOP senators, Charles Perry and Don Huffines.

When it was the turn of Maggie Hennessy, a UT student and intern with NARAL Pro-Choice Texas, to speak however Schwertnerkind of lost his shit:

"Ms. Hennessy —" Schwertner interrupted a minute into her testimony. "Your time is done."

But Hennessy went on, saying, "I urge you to all stop playing with reproductive health care like it's your own political puppet." That's when Schwertner dropped the gavel — so hard that he shattered the glass table before him.

"Your time is done," he repeated.

It should be noted that the Senator let a speaker from the anti-abortion advocacy group Texas Right to Life, speak at least twice as long and did not once lose control of his gavel.

Boy these male politicians sure do get testy when the lady folk argue against them taking away their right to control their own bodies.

It's almost as if they still consider them second class citizens, or perhaps simply property, or maybe something even worse.

1 in 6 Americans say they are buying guns in response to the violence they expect after this election.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

How long will it be before someone gets shot by a Donald Trump supporter in what the shooter may likely consider an act of patriotic civil disobedience? Or before someone uses a gun against right-wing vigilantes?

There is no shortage of evidence pointing toward some violent outburst surrounding the presidential election results. Reporters interviewing Trump supporters at rallies, national polls showing likely voters are expecting Election Day violence, consumer-trend tracking firms saying demand is rising for gun purchases, and rhetoric from the longstanding cadre of right-wing loudmouths, all suggest some type of ugly response.

“Sixteen percent of Americans plan on buying a gun as a result of the upcoming election,” said a press release Thursday from Elementum, “the real-time supply chain platform company, who polled 2,000 Americans from October 20-24 and found that among those living in the South, 19 percent will buy guns and among Gen Xers, the number is nearly 23 percent, especially among women, 24 percent.”

Wrapping oneself in the flag and taking up arms is a staple of the far-right militia-embracing fringe. But the urge has found a new home in the Trump campaign, led by a presidential candidate who says the vote will be stolen unless he wins, a manager who publishes bomb-throwing Breitbart News, and backers who get their “news” from even more extreme sources like conspiracist Alex Jones of InfoWars.

Well that's a little chilling.

And don't think that Clinton supporters are going to be in a position to return fire either.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

The 54-year-old business owner posted a sign on the door of Altra Firearms conveying those rules, and he’s currently running an ad in a local newspaper declaring:

“Please NO Muslims or Hillary Supporters — We do not feel safe selling to terrorists!” Chandler told ThinkProgress that, as the owner of a store that brands itself as “politically incorrect firearms,” he is free to turn Democrats and Muslims away.

Now I am not one to overreact to news that the Right Wing is preparing to take up arms, after all we have been hearing this same warning now for at least eight years.

However I will say that these people seem even more unhinged than they have in years past, and that it would not at all surprise me to hear of folks being shot in the days following the election by angry Trump supporters.

I think it is clear that Donald Trump has gone out of his way to agitate the most unbalanced people in this country, and they are also the most heavily armed.

That is not a good combination, and I hope that if there ARE any murders attributed to the outcome of this election that the police will not hesitate to knock on Donald Trump's door and charge him with inciting violence.

Elizabeth Warren participates in LGBT parade, and is rewarded with accusations and ugly comments from butt hurt Bernie Bros.

Courtesy of Facebook:

Happy Boston Pride! I'm so proud to be from Massachusetts, a state that leads the country on equality.

How great is it that we have a future VP who is willing to demonstrate her support for the LGBT community?

Yeah well if you are a Bernie Sanders supporter nothing she does will ever satisfy you again.

Here is just a sampling of the comments for this post on her Facebook page:

Rocky Paulk You can't even begin to imagine how disappointed I am to find that you were selling out Bernie.

Brian Allan Thanks for you and Democratic party for breaking election laws and screwing over Bernie

Juan L. Tejeda She has betrayed the liberals in this country by supporting HRC. SHE knows very well who HRC IS... corrupted.

Claudia Stauber Too bad she was all talk and no action, her actions speak louder than her words! Traitor!

Kevan Thompson So disappointed in you. All your passion is just a big act. SELLOUT. #OfThePeople #NotMeUs #StillSanders #ReleaseTheTranscripts #arizonaelectionfraud #DropOutHillary #WheresObama #DonaldDucksDebate #LameStreamMedia #BernieOrBust #SeeYouInPhilly #NeverHillary

Kerri Long Couldn't resist the sellout, could ya? The money must be insanely worth it. I hope you're resting well at night in your cool home. Remember all the homes foreclosed on that you benefited from? I over looked that about you, I mean no one's perfect. But to endorse Clinton with primaries to go and votes to count, shows you're no different. What a shame. Congrats, YOUR state has equality, why don't we stretch that out to the entire country? Oh that's right, we can't, our entire gov't is ran by the Oligarchy. It's a shame we can't ALL have nice things.

To be fair there are a lot of positive comments as well, but they are almost drowned out by the anger and frustration vomited forth by the Bernie Sanders supporters.

On Reddit there are even plans being made to protest a speaking engagement that Warren has today:

Elizabeth Warren will be giving an income inequality speech at the WWII club in Northampton, Ma on Sunday. Doors open at 4. Some of us will be meeting at the park by the Academy of Music downtown around 3:00 to go over details. If you would like to meet directly at the club, please arrive no later than 3:30. Times are subject to change as space is limited and the event may fill up. Please wear all black to represent the grief we feel as we mourn the loss of the person we thought she was. This will be a silent visual Demonstration in reaction to her recent endorsment of Hillary Clinton and to let her know how we feel about it. We feel as if she has turned her back on us and has not acted in alignment with her own message. Please bring Bernie signs. We will stand with our backs facing her holding our Bernie signs for her to read. Please no shouting or interruptions. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words and can send a powerful message. Eye candy for ear candy.

Apparently this was originally posted on Bernie Sanders' official site but somebody had the sense to delete it.

Sanders knows he can't officially endorse this kind of thing, just secretly smile in approval that it's happening.

To be clear Elizabeth Warren was the darling of the Bernie Sanders supporters for quite some time.

Then when she failed to endorse him earlier in the primaries the attacks started coming, sporadically at first.

But then she committed the cardinal sin of endorsing Hillary Clinton, and THAT....well that led to all of this.

By the way as it turns out the unrestrained aggression of the Bernie Sanders supporters might have been why they were caught by surprise at the large turnout of Hillary voters in California:
Just because you bully women into staying silent, does not mean they will not make their voices heard in the voting booth.

So the question remains, will these angry, disappointed zealots be able to get their shit together by November and support the Clinton/Warren ticket, or will they take their ball and go home despite the fact that they will be playing right into the hands of Donald Trump?

I guess only time will tell.

Sarah Palin freaking out over possible Trump/Ryan compromise.

Courtesy of the Eliza Do-Nothing's Facebook page:

Trump has a pow-wow with unsupportive GOPe House leader Paul Ryan today. Anticipate Ryan, after following crucifiers of our conservative frontrunner and all of his early supporters, to now position himself as the leader of those politico wussies to the cool kids' table. Typical politics. Makes me ill. (That could be morning sickness.) DJT can't capitulate.

The holier-than-thou GOPe that sees elections as merely a money-making business has stomped all over We the People for the last time. They got us into the mess we're in with their failed, capitulating agenda that's gone along with Obama's fundamental transformation of America that includes devastating debt increase, deadly open borders, failed foreign nation building, exporting jobs, dividing the country, and quashing American exceptionalism... while laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts. (Punctuation, punctuation, my kingdom for some punctuation!)

Today, Trump can not cede any victorious ground to the losers who got us into the mess we're in. And he won't. He'll own the meeting like a boss. Can't wait to hear Ryan's take on it afterwards; anticipate it'll be as accurate as his infamous claims of balancing a budget... or running his Olympic-qualifying marathon.

Oh my God, what if Trump is.....reasonable?That would be Sarah Palin's worst nightmare.

Well at least it's right next to the one where one of her children DOESN'T drop out of school and get pregnant, and instead graduates with honors, goes to one of those East Coast elite universities, and then joins the Democratic party.

(C'mon Piper you can do it!)

All kidding aside it appears that Palin's worst fears might be materializing.

Does not exactly sound as if Donald Trump owned the meeting "like a boss." Perhaps he only attended the meeting like a presidential candidate who realizes he has NO chance of winning without the party supporting him.

So I guess if Trump suddenly starts to seem reasonable that Palin will have no choice but to stab him in the back just like she did Ted Cruz, John McCain, Joe Miller, Sean Parnell, Todd Palin, Irl Stambaugh, Curtis Menard, and essentially every other man who did not live up to her expectations.

Fox News accuses Donald Trump of having a "sick obsession" with Megyn Kelly.

Trump tweeted the above after Kelly did a segment about him on her show, which by the way virtually EVERY cable news network does several times a day it seems.

Fox News responded by issuing this statement

Donald Trump's vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land. Megyn is an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America. We're extremely proud of her phenomenal work and continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump's endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults. As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it's especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.

Now Trump goes after just about everybody who dares to criticize him, so is it fair to accuse him of having a "sick obsession" with Megyn Kelly?

Let's check his tweets for more evidence.
Yeah okay, I definitely see their point.

This is really the thing about Donald Trump.

Not only is he so thin skinned that he must respond to virtually every criticism, but when that criticism comes from a woman it seems to piss him off like a thousand percent more.

In this case he is literally attacking a star of the Republican party's go to propaganda outlet, and turning the entire cable news station against him, simply because he cannot stand for a woman to stand up to him.

Man, I can hardly wait to watch him self destruct while facing off against Hillary Clinton.

Saturday, March 12, 2016

Rachel Maddow brilliantly explains that the anger and violence at yesterday's Trump rally was purposefully incited by Donald Trump himself.

The rally was NOT shut down due to recommendations by the Chicago police.

It was shut down because Frankenstein was not prepared to face the monster of his own creation.

This morning both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were making political points by blaming this on Trump and reminding people that this ONLY happens at Trump rallies.

So the question to ask is "Has Donald Trump FINALLY gone too far? Or will this too have no real impact on his campaign?"

Actually it already is having some impact on his campaign:

Toward the end of Donald Trump’s speech at the Dayton airport a protester attempted to rush the stage and security at the event was quick to act. (Here's video of the incident. Look how frightened Trump is.)

Witnesses told our reporters that the person who tried to rush the stage was a man and that he never was able to make it to the stage.

The man was reportedly placed in plastic-style handcuffs and escorted out of the hangar, witnesses said.

Fortunately the suspect appears to be Caucasian which will give his racist supporters a little less to get worked up about.

Welcome to the 2016 presidential election cycle folks.

Bristol Palin seems to be more than just a little defensive lately.

I'm not typically one to take Bristol's side on these things, but she is correct in saying that she did not lose custody of Tripp.

All that happened was that Levi finally came to the end of his long battle to gain joint custody. Before this his ability to see this son was dictated by a hateful woman-child who used access to the child as leverage to control Levi and punish him for no longer loving her.

The only reason that the media is reporting this as a loss to Bristol is because of how hard she fought to keep him from winning that right. Gee, how unfair of them.

P.S. By the way that "I have never, and would never, keep them from having a positive relationship with their fathers" is completely bullshit., and I hope Dakota publicly takes her to task as well to help expose that fact.

Nothing gets Jeb Bush as riled up as people "attacking" his brother. In that case Jeb! might want to skip reading this post.

Courtesy of Politico:

During a 35-minute discussion for POLITICO’s “Off Message” podcast, the former Florida governor was at turns deeply reflective about the long-term implications of the brutal Republican primary on his party — and personally engaged in dismantling his opponents, especially his protégé-turned-rival Rubio, who, he believes, is too callow, inexperienced and calculating to be president.

But Bush was most emotional when I asked what he’d learned from his brother’s tumultuous final few years as one of the most unpopular presidents in modern history.

“I would say the last part of my brother’s time, the part I didn’t like, was that they just let the incoming come,” Bush said, his voice rising. “I got tired of that, tired because I love my brother, and my impulse watching the news in the last three years where they — no one seemed to defend him — was get out there and fight.”

Gee, poor widdle Jeb.

Had to stand by and watch while the media went after his brother for almost destroying the fucking country.

The reason that "no one seemed to defend him" is because what he had done was indefensible.

He lied to the America people. Started two unnecessary wars. Stood by and did nothing while people drowned during Katrina. Was President during the worst terrorist attack in American history. And virtually destroyed the economy.

And that is by no means everything.

In fact as far as many Americans are concerned one the biggest travesties of our time is that George W. and this cohorts were not found guilty of treason and are not sitting in federal penitentiaries right now.

So if Jeb Bush does not want to hear bad things said about his brother, then perhaps he ought to end his failing campaign, go home, unplug his television and computer, and hide under the covers for the next thirty years or so.

Oh, and Fuck you and your entire criminal family.

Radar Online reports on Track Palin's history of violence.

Courtesy of Radar Online:

According to an insider, Sarah‘s son has a history of aggressive “outbreaks” that worried his friends and family.

“Track is a hothead,” an insider told Radar. “He has these outbreaks.”

In one incident on a family vacation to Hawaii, the source said, “Track had fallen asleep at the hotel and we left to go for a walk on the beach.

When he woke up, he snapped.” “When we got back to the hotel, it was total chaos, nearly a fist fight. Pretty violent. He was being verbally abusive.”

The source goes on to say that Track's problems might stem from his time in the military which makes me question how long this "insider" has been an insider since Track's temper and violent outbursts are well known in Wasilla.

However like this source I also have never heard of him ever hurting a woman, though of course he did refer to his sister as a c**t.

Whatever the reasons for Track's violent outbursts might be he definitely SHOULD be receiving counseling, and he absolutely SHOULD NOT be allowed around any firearms.

The insider also added this:

“In Sarah’s comments, she didn’t even mention the domestic abuse. It was offensive.”

“I want everyone to know who he is,” the source told Radar. “I want him to man up about it.”

I actually don't think that Track can "man up" because I don't think that anybody has really shown him how to be a man.

By the way an industrious IM visitor did a little detective work and found out that the $1,500.00 bail money to get Track out of jail was put up by a guy named William J. Long.

William J. Long co-owns an LLC called Alaska Underground Specialties along with Marc and Matthew McKenna.

You might remember them as the guys whose birthday party was interrupted by the arrival of the drunken Palin clan.

Interesting, no?

Suspect in Mississippi university shooting takes his own life. Motive for shooting may have been jealousy.

An instructor at Mississippi's Delta State University suspected of killing the woman he lived with and a colleague -- possibly as the result of a love triangle -- died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound late Monday, authorities said.

Local media, citing the Washington County Sheriff's office and other agencies, reported that Shannon Lamb, 45, was being chased by police in his black Dodge Avenger on Highway 1 near Greenville when he pulled the car over, bailed out on foot, and ran into some woods along the side of the road. Lamb had earlier spoken to police, telling them "he's not going to jail."

Delta State University police chief Lynn Buford told the Associated Press that the pursuing officers heard a single gunshot before finding Lamb wounded. The suspect was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

....

Police believe that hours before Lamb shot and killed Schmidt, he murdered his domestic partner, 41-year-old Amy Prentiss, at the home the couple shared in Gautier, Miss., approximately 300 miles from Delta State's campus in Cleveland.

Lamb, a geography and social science education instructor, allegedly believed Prentiss was also in a relationship with Schmidt. However, authorities early Tuesday declined to formally identify a motive for the crimes.

I said in an earlier post that the majority of the shootings that take place in this country have NOTHING to do with self defense and are usually the result of depression or anger.

However I obviously left out one motivation...jealousy.

These shootings were not due to mental illness as so many pro-gun folks would have us believe.

They were carried out by an intelligent, well educated individual who was temporarily unable to deal with his emotions.

Without an available weapon this would likely have been a case of one man punching another in the face. Everybody would have lived to someday put the incident behind them.

But when guns are readily available all it takes is one bad day, one bad hour, one bad minute, and everything changes forever.

MTV broadcasts fake commercial about racial disparity during Video Music Awards. Seems to have really hit a nerve with racist white people.

This courtesy of Inverse:

Turns out that the fictional White Squad was produced by MTV’s “Look Different” campaign, which aims to expose very real “hidden” (ha!) biases and tackle racial inequality. Skeptics may find it disingenuous, coming from MTV itself, but the ad does a brilliant job of exposing uncomfortable truths and targeting the audience that’s most likely to respond. Even white kids, who might not be aware of the discrimination their peers face, can look at White Squad and think, perhaps with a moment of clarity, “That’s fucked up.”

On the Look Different website, the creators admit: “The truth is, we’re all a little biased — even MTV.” Challenging those biases, they say, is the first step to creating a more equal future. Maybe White Squad just leveraged its privilege to help out people of color after all.

Personally I thought the video was somewhat humorous, but also unfortunately quite accurate when it comes to how certain ethnicities are treated by the system in America.

You can kind of gauge that accuracy by how pissed off it makes white folks who are, of course, totally NOT racist.

Courtesy of Addicting Info:

As you can see these perfectly normal, every day, totally NOT racist Americans, have a point that there is no racism until MTV (And of course President Obama.) creates some by constantly bringing the topic up for discussion.

Could not be more clear.

President Obama's anger translator.

"Look at what's happening right now. Every serious scientist says we need to act. The Pentagon says it's a national security risk. Miami floods on a sunny day, and instead of doing anything about it we've got elected officials throwing snowballs in the Senate! It is crazy! What about our kids! What kind of stupid, short sighted, irresponsible bulls....?"

I have to admit that when I saw this bit start last night, I thought "This is not working."

But then when the President started his rant, I thought "Damn this is gold!"

You watch on Monday this is going to be the part that gets played and dissected over and over again.

I think the President has been dying to say some version of this for the last six and a half years.

And it must have felt so good that I would not blame him for lighting up a cigarette afterward.
