In case you missed it, yesterday Donald Trump brought up the idea that he might someday be on Mt. Rushmore while mocking the media that would report that he brought it up.

This is like a guy who stabs a homeless man if front of the police, and then bitches that they will probably arrest him for murder because that is what those stupid police always do.

By the way if you look at Trump's face you can see that he REALLY believes that he should be in contention for a place on Rushmore.

He only attempts to shape it as a joke in order to deflect criticism.

However I think we should all feel free to criticize and mock him mercilessly for this.

Do you want to see that blowhard Ted Cruz cut off in mid speech? You know you do.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz appeared to get cut off in the middle of his speech at a popular religious conservative convention in Washington, D.C.

Cruz, one of the first speakers to kick off the Faith and Freedom Coalition's "Road to Majority" conference, spoke for just nine minutes before an abrupt ending.

"What I want to say to the men and women here are two things: number one, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your passion, thank you for your time, thank you for your energy, thank you for speaking out and working to retake our nation," Cruz said.

You know I have had a lot of truly rewarding experiences in my life, but few were quite as satisfying as watching this arrogant asshole left stunned right in the middle of shoveling his bullshit into the audience.

I cannot imagine who actually goes to listen to this pompous idiot give a speech without having somebody holding  gun to their heads.

During the primaries I used to mute my TV whenever Cruz was giving a speech, or responding to questions, since just hearing his voice while looking at his smug face would make me want to do him serious bodily injury.

Everything about Cruz irritates me.

In fact this video may be the first one I have seen which I enjoyed even a little. And actually I enjoyed it quite a lot.

What was it that Al Franken said about Ted Cruz?

"I probably like Ted Cruz more than most of my colleagues like Ted Cruz, and I hate Ted Cruz."

Oh yeah, I think that pretty much says it all.

Trump supporter interrupts "HAMILTON" in Chicago with shouts of "We won! You Lost! Get over it! F*ck you!" Such reasonable people.

Courtesy of Broadway World:

Broadway World has learned that a Trump supporter interrupted the Saturday evening performance of Hamilton in Chicago. An audience member seated in the balcony allegedly shouted "We won! You Lost! Get over it! F*ck you!" during the number "Dear Theodosia."

One Twitter user who attended the show alleges that the audience member also shouted profanities and had an altercation with security before being removed from the auditorium.

One Facebook user wrote "At the end, the performers were crying... so was I. They didn't break characters once. They still sang their hearts out."

Later there there was an update that what seemed to incense the man was this line from the play, "immigrants, we get the job done," and the cheers which followed.

The man also admitted that he was intoxicated at the time, which I am sure is a condition that a lot of Trump supporters will share as they finally come to learn just who they put into the White House.

I guess that this is the country that we live in today.

A country where people rudely interrupt a popular stage show, and act out in anger when confronted with knowledge of the contributions made by immigrants to this great nation.

Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu refuses White House invitation that he requested in the first place.

Courtesy of Reuters:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declined an offer to meet U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House later this month and canceled his trip to Washington, the White House said on Monday.

Netanyahu's decision to nix his U.S. visit marked the latest episode in a fraught relationship with Obama that has yet to recover from their deep differences over last year's U.S.-led international nuclear deal with Iran, Israel's arch foe.

The White House said the Israeli government had requested a Netanyahu meeting with Obama on either March 18 or 19 and that two weeks ago he was offered a March 18 encounter.

"We were looking forward to hosting the bilateral meeting, and we were surprised to first learn via media reports that the prime minister, rather than accept our invitation, opted to cancel his visit," White House spokesman Ned Price said in an emailed statement. "Reports that we were not able to accommodate the prime minister's schedule are false," he said.

I really dislike this guy. He is a warmongering demagogue.

It would almost be as if we elected ted Cruz to represent our country.

And the fact that he is essentially a puppet of the Republican just makes him that much more distasteful.

No CNN will not pay Donald Trump 5 million dollars to attend the next debate.

Courtesy of Variety:

CNN will not give $5 million to charity to ensure Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump appears on the Republican debate set to air on the Time Warner-owned cable-news outlet on December 15, the network’s top executive said Thursday.

“No,” said CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker, responding to a question about a demand from Trump that CNN donate $5 million to charity or face the chance the candidate might boycott the event. “We do not pay candidates to appear” on the network. Zucker made his comments at an event held by the Paley Center for Media, as part of a wide-ranging interview with Ben Smith, editor in chief of digital outlet BuzzFeed.

I hope that Trump does boycott the debate.

But of course we know that will never happen.

His massive ego would not allow it.

If you think Ben Carson the man is kind of bizarre, you should take a look at his house.

Aw what now?
Courtesy of the Guardian:

The decor at Ben Carson’s home in Maryland shows that Donald Trump may not have the biggest ego among the Republican candidates. On display are awards, certificates, medals, and a painting of himself with Jesus.

This is that picture of Ben and his homie Jesus.

Seriously WHO has a picture painted of themselves with Jesus?

Not to nitpick, but isn't that supposed to be "proverbs" 22:4?

I guess Ben was too busy learning how to cut open human brains to learn anything about spelling.

There are many more photos at the link which show that Carson's home is literally covered with certificates, photos, and medals all paying homage to his greatness.

Speaking of proverbs wasn't there one in the Bible about pride and a fall?

By the way this is his wife Candy Carson.

(Be nice.)

And of course there are still more of Carson's lies coming to light almost on an hourly basis now.

At this point I think Carson's goose is cooked.

Or at least it should be.

But then again attempting to predict what the loons in the Right Wing might do in response to these revelations is becoming just about impossible.

Donald Trump's tweet to CNN is something that has to be seen to be believed.

In short Trump touts his ability to drive up ratings, and "suggests" that CNN donate all of the money they earn from advertising during their upcoming GOP debate to a veteran's charity.

So now he pushes Jeff Zucker, President of CNN, into a corner where he is either a cold blooded bastard not willing to help the veterans, or a lightweight who is easily bullied by the likes of Donald Trump.

And who really thinks this is about the veterans, and NOT about Trump's frustration that he cannot financially benefit from the uptick in the ratings?

I didn't think I could dislike Ted Cruz any more than I do. But then I saw his picture from college.

You know I have read before that Cruz was an arrogant SOB in college, and this picture does much to support that.

The guy looks like he is playacting at being a cigar chomping political bigwig even before he finished school.

The Raw Story article claims that Cruz acted in college, which makes me wonder once again if his entire schtick is one big put on to get conservative support and to increase his time in the limelight.

Either that or I have to accept the fact that he is actually what he appears to be, an ignorant, arrogant, blowhard.

Felon Dinesh D'Souza compares his conviction for violating campaign finance laws to the persecution of Martin Luther King Jr. by J. Edgar Hoover. On MLK day yet!

Holy crap! Just when I thought this guy could not be more of a douchenozzle.

I cannot even begin to fathom the kind of arrogance it takes to compare yourself to Martin Luther King Jr. on the day that we celebrate his memory.

But then again I am not some weaselly pseudo Christian, Right Wing, flim flam man either.

The Daily Show mocks perhaps the most mock-able thing in the news, Ted Cruz's non-filibuster filibuster.

Part two: The Bore-ax

There were a plethora of choices to post today of pundits taking shots at Cruz's ridiculous ineffective grandstanding yesterday, but it was not until I watched the Daily Show last night that I knew what I HAD to post.

Not only is it spot on, it is truly hilarious.

Apparently conservative CNN contributor Erik Erickson has decided to NEVER GET LAID AGAIN!

Courtesy of Think Progress:

This afternoon, (Actually September 4th) in just over one hour, 23,000 people signed a petition asking CNN to fire contributor Erick Erickson.

His offense? He referred to the Democrats’ packed list of female speakers at their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina as “the Vagina Monologues”

Here is the offending tweet that this sorry excuse for a man tweeted after seeing all of the inspiring women speak at the DNC, and which has caused females all over the country to tell their vaginas that they can ALWAYS do better than THIS asshole.

This resulted in an absolute deluge of angry calls to CNN, and the signing by over 105,000 women to this petition, calling for CNN to remove this sexist cancerous idiot from their broadcasts from this day forward. (That was the number when I wrote this post anyway.)

Erickson, decided that he could probably "calm the ladies down" by posting a follow up tweet.

Really? If his intention was not to offend women, then just what WAS his intention?

Yeah well just as a demonstration that this idiot knows NOTHING about women (As if we needed one) his half assed "apology" did NOTHING to placate the women, who continue to call for his removal.

God I hate idiots that make men look THIS insensitive and Neanderthal like. However WHAT can one expect from the representative of a party that has done NOTHING but attack women's health, their ability to be paid the same wage as a man, and has attempted to turn them into nothing more than breeder stock?

Mitt Romney demonstrates he is serious about running for President by thumbing his nose at Donald Trump's invitation to debate. Update!

Courtesy of Boston.com:

It’s official. Mitt Romney is skipping the controversial GOP debate moderated by Donald Trump later this month in Des Moines.

Romney announced on Fox News this afternoon that he will not be participating, saying he told Trump in a call today that he’s already agreed to two other debates in Iowa in December.

“The rest of the month is going to be spent campaigning, doing the political work you’ve got to do to get the support of political people in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida. So we’ll be hitting the trail,” Romney said.

Trump apparently greeted the rejection with graciousness. “He understood my perspective and wished me well,” Romney said.

In the next year you will rarely hear me give Romney any credit for his decision making, but THIS was a smart choice. It is also an illustration that he is a serous candidate and not in this thing to sell books like Herman Cain, nor increase his speaking fees like Newt Gingrich.

By the way, despite Romney's portrayal of Trump's response to his decision as gracious, in fact Trump was anything but.

“It would seem logical to me that if I was substantially behind in the polls, especially in Iowa, South Carolina and Florida, I would be participating in the debate. But I can also understand why Gov. Romney decided not to do it,” Trump said in a statement released by his office.

Romney is smart to stay well clear of this megalomaniac, and his sideshow approach to politics.

So thus far we have Jon Huntsman, Ron Paul, and Mitt Romney showing some Presidential credibility. Unfortunately for the GOP none of them have a snowball's chance in hell against President Obama.

Update: This from Norah O'Donnell's Twitter account:

MT @SarahB_CBSNJ: Gingrich on CNBC: I helped make Romney rich. He shld be thanking me bc I did economic things that made his career possible

Jesus, the word "arrogant" does not even BEGIN to describe this asswipe.

I am beginning to think that in the end Trump might do even more harm to the Republican party than even the Teabaggers have managed to do.

If you want to know for certain which GOP candidates will NEVER get the nomination, that's easy. It's whichever ones make an appearance at "The Donald's Super Amazing Debate-apalooza! "

'Great! I figured out a way to hijack the GOP nomination process again! I'm amazing!"
Courtesy of the LA Times:

Trump confirmed to MSNBC’s Tamron Hall a New York Times report that he'd helm a GOP debate on Dec. 27.

“I was asked to do it by a number of people, including some of my friends that are Republicans, strong Republicans,” Trump told MSNBC. He has signed on to be a moderator at the debate, which will be held in Iowa and is hosted by Newsmax, a conservative website and magazine. It will be broadcast on Ion Television, a cable network.

“I thought it would certainly be a little change of pace for Donald Trump, so I'll do something I haven't done before," he added.

Does anybody really picture Trump being able to moderate a debate? Or a conversation?  Or

What kind of questions would he even ask?

"Hey..uh..you the Texan guy. You know this is my real hair, right?"

"Tell me when was the first time YOU realized that Obama was not born in this country?"

"By a show of hands, who thinks The Apprentice is the best show on television?"

"Be honest, you all know if I was running that none of you would have a fucking chance, am I right?"

Nobody who is seriously seeking this nomination should even CONSIDER showing up to this thing.
