Former Breitbart writer admits that he planted anti-Hillary hecklers at her rallies.

Courtesy of The Wrap:

Former Breitbart reporter Patrick Howley claims that he planted many anti-Hillary Clinton hecklers during the presidential campaign, according to a now-deleted Facebook post.

Politico’s Hadas Gold first noticed the post and was able to capture a screen grab before it was deleted.

Howley left Breitbart News last month, saying, “they are smart people” that don’t need his services because he already did his part to “bring down” Clinton and “avenge the betrayal of David Brock.” Brock is a former conservative investigative journalist who became a Clinton ally and founder of the liberal watchdog site Media Matters for America.

"He already did his part to bring down Clinton."

Kind of amazing just how many foreign countries, agencies, and Right Wing folks worked together to make that happen, don't you think?

Ever wonder why it was so important for them to stop Hillary?

Ted Cruz suggests that young heckler should be spanked.

Courtesy of Politico:

A youthful protester who interrupted his rally late Sunday evening should get a spanking, Ted Cruz suggested to his audience in La Porte, Indiana. Such a punishment, he added, would have gone a long way in changing the behavior of Donald Trump.

“All right, apparently there’s a young man who’s having some problems," Cruz said, as the young heckler shouted, "You suck!"

Cruz responded, "Thank you, son."

“Children should actually speak with respect," he continued. "Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago.”

“You know, in my household, when a child behaves that way, they get a spanking," the Texas senator remarked, echoing similar comments he made in January in reference to Hillary Clinton, suggesting then to voters that they should "spank" the former secretary of state at the ballot box for her handling of the 2012 Benghazi attacks.

Why do I get the idea that Ted Cruz is really stimulated by the idea of spankings?

Just like a dominionist to believe that corporeal punishment is the way to control the behavior of children.

Respect is earned, not beaten into a person.

You know the more I learn about creepy Ted Cruz the more I worry about his daughters.

Oh and by the way that kid's not wrong. Ted Cruz does suck.

Did Donald Trump's son direct a mafia like threat at Ted Cruz? Yeah kinda.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Donald Trump’s son, Eric, may be a bit confused about the phrase “New York values,” coined by Trump’s GOP rival Ted Cruz.

The front-runner’s son, who according to his Twitter profile, is the executive vice president of Development and Acquisitions at The Trump Organization, posted a picture from the HBO series, The Sopranos, with the caption, “Hey Cruz…When you get to NY we need to have a word with you. Tell us how you feel about NY values… we’ll send a car.”

So apparently this kind of threatening behavior runs in the family.

And as it turns out this is not the only negative reception Ted Cruz received from New Yorkers.

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

As Cruz toured the lunch spot, a man identified as one half of a Latin hip-hop duo called Rebel Diaz yelled that the Texas senator is a 'bigot' and said he wasn't welcome because of his positions on illegal immigration.

'Ted Cruz has no business being in the Bronx!' the heckler shouted from the front of the Sabrosura2 restaurant where Cruz was making a campaign stop.

'This is an immigrant community. We deal with climate change every single day, and he wants to say that it doesn't exist.'

'We live in one of the poorest congressional districts in the country,' the man went on. 'And to receive this right-wing bigot is an insult to the whole community.'

'You're running on an anti-immigrant platform, and you're speaking in the Bronx,' he said. 'You should not be here!'

Gee, I guess this is how New York feels about "Texan values."

New Hampshire State Representative who disrupted town hall has followed Hillary Clinton around for years just so she can heckle her over her husband's extra marital affairs.

Source
Courtesy of the Washington Post:

One day before former president Bill Clinton arrives in New Hampshire to campaign for his wife, Hillary Clinton, she was confronted with questions about allegations involving his sexual history at a town hall meeting in the state on Sunday.

State Rep. Katherine Prudhomme-O'Brien (R) repeatedly interrupted Clinton during the meeting, which was held in a middle school gymnasium.

Prudhomme-O'Brien has for years followed the former first lady, peppering her with questions about allegations of past sexual misconduct by Bill Clinton. The state lawmaker's outbursts startled an otherwise friendly and even-tempered town hall audience. It is unclear whether Clinton was able to hear her comments.

After Prudhomme-O'Brien's third interruption, Clinton responded angrily: "You are very rude, and I'm not ever going to call on you."

Apparently this Prudhomme-O'Brien woman has been on Hillary's ass since at least as far back as 2007. And is now a participant in the Republican tactic to keep Bill Clinton off of the campaign trail undoubtedly out of fear of his persuasive influence over audiences and well documented fundraising abilities.

Of course Donald Trump has given this mud slinging his seal of approval, and demonstrated his own concerns over Bill Clinton.
Here's the thing, if Bill Clinton was running for office these might seem like reasonable concerns to bring up about his character. But he's not.

And remember Hillary was the victim of Bill's philandering, not the perpetrator. The women involved, however many there might have been, were willing participants by most accounts, quite unlike the victims of Bill Cosby's drugging and sexual assault.

It could in fact be argued that Bill's mistresses victimized Hillary, not the other way around.

So I fail to see how this negatively impacts her presidential campaign.

Sarah Palin actually tells hecklers to "get a job." I bet she rehearses that everyday at home with her own family.

I did not link to this earlier today because the video on the original TMZ post did not play for me.

But now that I have it on You Tube, well it is really too good not to share.

I like how she admits she's now in show business:

"Are you in show business? Then don't be jealous boy."

Gee I wonder if that was a black guy?

Crowd: "Put some clothes on Sarah."

Palin: "Hey dude I'm from Alaska."

And then a few seconds later.

Palin: "Hey when you get a job, you come talk to me okay?"

At which time the crowd starts shouting "What are you doing?"

Palin: "Hey, I'm here, and you're there."

In other words I'm more important than you.

So much for that whole "I'm just a regular small town American" bullshit.

In other news Ted Cruz gets booed off stage by Christian group for defending Jews.

Courtesy of Politico:

The president of the Christian organization who hosted Sen. Ted Cruz at its summit has partially blamed the senator for walking off the stage after being heckled and booed by some in the crowd during his speech.

In Defense of Christians President Toufic Baaklini, in a statement released Thursday evening, said that while the hecklers were out of line, Cruz’s actions were “unfortunate” and detracted from the event.

“Sen. Cruz abruptly ended his remarks accusing some participants of being ‘consumed with hate,’” Baaklini said, in reference to a comment the senator made moments before he left the stage without finishing his speech. “That was as unfortunate as the inappropriate reaction by a small number of attendees.”

EWTN News Nightly recorded a video of the tail end of Cruz’s speech on Wednesday. In it, the senator faced boos and angry yelling from some in the crowd over his previous comments. “I will say this: I’m saddened to see that some here, not everyone, are so consumed with hate,” he said in the video.

“I will say this: If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you. Thank you, and God bless you,” he said, walking off stage to scattered applause and boos.

Probably wrong that I enjoyed that so much isn't it?

I will say this however, even though it is against my religion, which you may know as the "I Always Disagree with Everything Ted Cruz says Adventists," but actually I think that old Rafael was saying some righteous shit.

However he was saying it to a crowd who only wanted to talk about Christian persecution, you know like Sarah and Bristol Palin, and not about any other group's centuries old persecution.

Yeah let those assholes get their own  fundraising event.

This is how another attendee, Republican Congressman Charlie Dent, summarized the Cruz kerfuffle:

"I support Israel, but what Senator Cruz did was outrageous and incendiary," Dent said. "He showed a true lack of sensitivity for the people he was speaking to, especially the religious leaders who were there. It was a political speech, inappropriate and, overall, an uncomfortable moment."

So maybe it wasn't the whole  Jewish thing that upset the crowd so much, as simply the fact that Ted Cruz was being a giant douchenozzle.

Heckler interrupts President's speech to ask about his plans to bomb Russia. Wait, what?

So today the President was addressing the DNC when this heckler jumped up and said the following:

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Mr. Obama!

THE PRESIDENT: — I consider Republicans patriots who love this country just as much as we do.

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Tell us about your plans for nuclear war with Russia!

THE PRESIDENT: I’m sorry, who’s that back there? (Laughter.) What the heck are you talking about? (Applause.)

AUDIENCE: Obama! Obama! Obama!

THE PRESIDENT: No, no, don’t worry about it. We’re okay. Have a seat. I don’t know anything about that plan. (Laughter.) I don’t know what you’ve been reading. (Laughter.) Let me return to what I was talking about. (Applause.) See, he thought happy hour started earlier. (Laughter and applause.)

Okay now in my opinion the best part of his exchange is the face the President made at the 15 second mark.

This is your brain. This is your brain on Fox News. Any questions?

President Obama heckled over immigration during speech, handles it like pro.

Courtesy of the YouTube page:

Immigration-rights protesters interrupted President Obama's speech Monday demanding he use executive powers to immediately halt all deportations, but he rebuked them, telling them he doesn't have that power. "You have a power to stop deportation," one man, standing directly behind Mr. Obama, shouted near the end of the president's immigration speech in San Francisco, who then began to lead chants of "Stop deportation!"

"Actually, I don't, and that's why we are here," Mr. Obama replied.

When security moved to escort the protester out of the room, Mr. Obama told them to hold off.

"These guys don't need to go. let me finish. No, no, he can stay there," he said.

He went on to say if he thought he had unilateral powers to halt deportations, he would. But he said that would actually break the law.

"If in fact I could solve all these problems without passing the laws in Congress then I would do so. But we're also a nation of laws, that's part of our tradition," he said.

"The easy way out is to yell and pretend I can try and do something by violating our laws. what I'm proposing is the harder path," Mr. Obama said. "It requires us lobbying and getting it done."

I was incredibly impressed with how he engaged this young man instead of simply allowing the Secret Service to strong arm him out of the building. He did not have to engage, but he did.

I am sometimes really irritated by people who seem to think that the President can solve every problem with a snap of his fingers or an Executive Order. He can't.

He needs to have a Congress and Senate that are willing to work with him, and right now the Republicans will not touch a single thing that he wants to get done.

And let me just add that I sometimes think of myself as pretty cool, but I would have had a VERY hard time keeping my cool while that jackass was yelling like that and refusing to let the President respond.

Now just imagine how President Romney would have handled that. Frightening isn't it?

Talking Points has more.

Father of shooting victim heckled and harassed by pro-gun crowd. It does not get much uglier than this. Update!

Courtesy of the Examiner:

"I'm here today as a father of a woman who was shot dead by her husband, here in New Hampshire,” Cantin began. “I'm here as a survivor who was injured in the same shooting, so I am a victim as well.

"The person who did this was not a criminal,” he said. The remark was a reference to a standard rhetorical strategy used by the National Rifle Association, claiming that the focus of gun control should be in keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals.

“I'm here as a proud veteran of the military who was trained in the responsible use of firearms. I'm here as a voter who supported Senator Kelly Ayotte and wants to see her [bring about common sense solutions to the problem]”.

(Understanding all of Cantin’s words was complicated by the din caused by the guns rights activists, who did not relent in their verbal harassment.)

"I'm here as an advocate for the victims of domestic abuse and improved mental health services.

“It takes more than one program to control [ violence]. Everybody needs to work together and nobody is here to take rights away,” he told the gun owners, who began shouting the word “Freedom” over and over.

“I was deeply disappointed when Senator Ayotte voted against federal legislation strengthening gun laws requiring background checks and making trafficking a federal crime," Cantin said.

"We know that almost 90% of NH voter -- 90% of NH voters -- many of them gun owners, supported including all guns sales in background checks."

As Cantin began to discuss the issue of domestic violence, he was interrupted by Daniel Musso, a 52-year old gun rights activist. Musso sported a T-shirt proclaiming HOMELAND SECURITY illustrated with pictures of famous Native American warriors like Sitting Bull holding rifles. Musso continued to interrupt him as he spoke.

"We know that when there is a gun in the home of a domestic abuser, a woman is 500 times more likely to be killed,” he said when he finally was able to continue after addressing Musso. Musso continued to harass him as he went on with his speech.

“We know that in the states where background checks are required for all gun purchases there is a 38% decrease in the rates of homicides from domestic violence.

“That is why I stood with other fathers who lost their children in the Newtown shootings who asked Senator Ayotte to change her vote. This is why I delivered petitions to her office signed by hundreds of New Hampshire voters to support stronger laws ....”

As Cantin began to discussing his deep dismay with Kelly Ayotte, the rowdy gun owners shifted their sloganeering to shouts of “Ayotte! Ayotte!” as they tried to drown out Cantin. Musso also began to say “Ayotte” as he stood at the dais with Cantin.

“And it is why just an hour ago,” Cantin said, “I delivered a list of over 6,000 [victims of gun violence] to Senator Ayotte's office in Manchester. The names I delivered were the names of people like my daughter Melissa.”

I had read about this exchange last week, but did not fully understand how aggressively Mr. Contin was harassed and to what limits they went to intimidate him u7ntil I happened across this video today.

That is a despicable display of antipathy toward this man who is simply trying to do right by his daughter.

According to the YouTube site the thug, a Daniel Musso, was arrested later for assault and resisting arrest.

Good on Mr. Contin for continuing on with his speech.

Update: Here is the arrest of Daniel Musso. He is a big guy and he was not easy to take down.

He shouldn't have poked his finger at that officer though.
