The dumbest question of all time is finally answered by a scientist with way too much time on his hands.

"Which came first the chicken or the egg?"

This is the most ignorant question of all time. I answered this question when I was seven! Seven!

Evolution does not happen to a creature during it's lifetime. Evolution happens as the genetic material is passed from parents to offspring. Therefore the first bird that could be rightly called a "chicken" emerged from the first chicken "egg". Dumbass!

The idea that scientists would waste valuable time debating this issue makes my fucking head hurt! And yeah I know that Disney paid for the research to promote their movie "Chicken Little" but it is still a waste of valuable intellectual energy.

(Yeah I posted the cute picture of the chickie because I have become aware that some people just visit this site for the pictures. This question for them remains a head scratcher.)
