Bristol Palin's ghostwriter attempts to jump on the #MeToo train, misses and rolls into a ditch of stupidity instead.

The #MeToo campaign has taken down predators from both the Right and the Left, from both Hollywood and Washington DC, and both famous and infamous journalists as well.

However while Sarah Palin has been all too willing to jump onto stories about liberal Hollywood or media figures, she has been largely silent when it came to allegations concerning predators on the Right.

Now yesterday we had her ghostwriting stand in for Bristol attempt to attract a little of that sweet #MeToo attention their way by writing up a sad little blog post suggesting that the Palin family has also been the longtime victims of sexual harassment.

This of course is nothing new as the Palin family has been blowing their rape whistles virtually from the moment that they burst onto the scene.

Bristol even had a book written for her that suggested Levi raped her in a tent. (I actually asked him about that directly, and let's just say her version in no way matches what really took place.)

In that post yesterday Bristol's paid ghostwriter went to some rather amazing lengths to prove that the Palins are long suffering victims.

For instance she wrote that this comment by Chris Wallace, in which he was asked by Don Imus if Sarah Palin would be sitting on this lap during their first interview, was an example of sexual harassment. As you can see Wallace was called out for making a somewhat sexist remark by other Fox New hosts, and of course the interview that took place was purely professional, so to use this as an example of sexual harassment seems incredibly weak.

The Bristol ghostwriter then goes on to use the Letterman joke as a further example.

The actual joke, if you remember, was "Sarah Palin went to a Yankees game yesterday. There was one awkward moment during the seven minute stretch when her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."

Of course Dave thought that the daughter she brought was the previously pregnant Bristol, and not Willow who was actually accompanying her mother and father to New York.

The joke may have been in poor taste (Made me laugh however.), but it was not a pro-rape joke which was the accusation made by the Palin family.

The next examples are Azeala Banks, who made some rather indefensible remarks about black men "running a train" on Sarah, and Mike Tyson suggesting that she needed a black man like Dennis Rodman to "push her guts up into her head," after learning that she had bedded the very gentlemanly Glen Rice.

Now yes it could be argued that these are tasteless comments, but this ghostwriter needs to remember that tasteless comments are constantly being made about public figures, and since they were not made directly to her that it is still a stretch to think of them as the same type of sexual harassment suffered by the victims of Matt Lauer, Bill O'Reilly, or Roy Moore.

However it is the last example that is truly remarkable in it tone deafness.

In this example Bristol's ghostwriter feigns outrage over the fact that former Fox and Friends couch warmer, Alisyn Camerota, asked Palin if she had had breast surgery after this photo started making the rounds.

 Since everybody by this time had come to realize that Palin was essentially flat as a board up on top, as illustrated by this photo,...

...this was not really such an outlandish question.

After all Palin had clearly wanted to draw attention to her chest which is why she wore what we now suspect was a water bra, with a tight white top.

And then when somebody noticed, and asked her about it, they are suddenly sexually harassing her?

At the end of this pathetic post the ghostwriter suggests that there is a double standard, and that liberal women's accusations are taken more seriously than those made by conservative women.

To that I would respond with the fact that the Roy Moore accusers have stated that they are lifelong conservatives, and some even admitted to voting for Trump. (Al Franken accuser Leann Tweeden has also been identified as a conservative.)

No this is NOT a partisan issue, and all accusers should be treated equally.

However if they, like Bristol's ghostwriter, are going to try and compare the terrible experiences of those who have suffered actual trauma to incidences like those listed above, they are likely going to find that they are laughed at and dismissed as simple attention seekers.

If you click that image you will see that this is another book ghostwritten by Nancy "I have no soul" French.

Which is kind of odd since Nancy came out hard against Trump, and her husband even launched an over in the blink of an eye campaign to run against him for president.

Still this Clarke guy is one of the few black folks willing to support Trump publicly, so maybe that supersedes his dislike for the French family.

Sarah Palin gets called out again for using her website to post Right Wing articles as click-bait.

A quick scroll through sarahpalin.com reveals that there are ads and there is a “U.S. Debt Clock” ($19 trillion and counting). At the bottom of every page, under the tab labeled “more,” there is an ad section labeled “you may also like.” It features all manner of shady clickbait: a guide to which celebrities “are jerks in real life,” photos of tacky jewelry, and a drawing of what appears to be diseased feet. You see this kind of thing in pop-up ads that look like fake websites, or at the bottom of real websites that are stuck in another era of the internet. There’s also an online store, where you can purchase Palin’s books and DVDs of Sarah Palin’s Alaska. And there is “Her Story,” a short biography complete with oddly stretched photos of the woman herself. 

Most prominent on the website, though, are short articles that are presented as news. 

Many of the posts are just bad aggregation, condensed and rewritten versions of reports from other publications — like the Daily Caller, Fox News, and Politico, as well as less well-known sites such as Weasel Zippers — that shape and distribute news so that it confirms a conservative worldview. You might call it fake news or propaganda, with headlines like, “YES! Trump Fulfills Campaign Promise to Help the Coal Industry” (approximately 70 jobs were created, by a private company, at a coal mine in Pennsylvania) or “EVIDENCE FOUND! Trump Was Right on Voter Fraud …” (12 people in Indiana were charged with submitting fraudulent voter-registration applications, while Trump claimed that “millions” of undocumented immigrants had voted illegally in the 2016 election). 

Others are just random write-ups of viral videos; one reads, “Two INCREDIBLE Performances Are Leaving Americans SPEECHLESS.” Once in a while, there will be a column or two.

The article goes on to list all of the ways that Palin desperately attempted to stay relevant, from her stint as Fox News contributor, her doomed reality shows, and her incredibly temporary foray into subscription based internet TV. (Interestingly they did not even bother to mention Palin's book writing endeavors. Probably snootily only want to give credit to book authors who actually write their books.)

The article goes on:

Palin doesn’t write much. Initially, she penned a few of the articles, with titles like “INSANE”; “Trig’s School of Life. We’re all learning!”; “Alpha Males … Hot Hot Hot”; and “You, Sir, Are Unfortunately Being Used by Democrats.” 

But now, her sole contribution is when, about once a day, she publishes something called “SWEET FREEDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL.” Occasionally, perhaps owing to error, it’s referred to as “SWEET FREEDOM DAILY DEVOTION” or even just “DAILY DEVOTIONAL,” no “sweet freedom.” These begin with scripture and end with a word of advice. On Saturday, her instruction was, “Today, quit waiting until circumstances are just right before you praise the Lord. You already have so much to thank God for, so what are you waiting for?” The contact form for press inquiries on sarahpalin.com doesn’t work, and an interview request, forwarded to Palin through a friend and associate of hers, was not answered as of press time.

(I hate to break it to New York Magazine, but it is most likely that those contributions of Palin's were almost completely written, or rewritten, by others.)

New York Magazine also attempted to contact the people who actually produce the content for sarahpalin.com,  but none of them would consent to an interview, and the only response was from a woman who did not submit her work to the website, was not sure how it got there, and was never paid for her "contribution."

This is actually the third time that Palin has been called out for her shitposts and click bait heavy content.

The first was back on February 1st of this year, on The Daily Banter, and the second was only nine days later on the Huffington Post.

I think that the only reason more new outlets have not pointed out the obvious is because they have forgotten that Palin is still alive.

I used to look forward to the days when we could dance around the rotting corpse of Sarah Palin's career, but to be honest it is getting a little old.

Now I am looking forward to dancing around the rotting corpse of Donald Trump's career.

I wonder if THAT will ever get old?

Sarah Palin posted a picture of Florida lawmakers to illustrate foreigners cheering to celebrate the Paris accords costing America billions.

It’s clear that Sarah Palin hates the Paris climate agreement. 

What’s unclear is why she used a photo of Florida lawmakers to make her point in a Facebook meme. 

"Don’t be fooled! The Paris climate accord is a scam," stated the headline at the top of Palin’s Facebook post June 6, 2017. (By June 7, the Facebook meme was no longer available but PolitiFact had taken a screenshot of her post, which had been shared at least 8,000 times.) 

Beneath the headline is a photo of an unidentified group of mostly men cheering. The Facebook post doesn’t identify the people in the photo, but they are Florida House members at the state Capitol in Tallahassee. 

Beneath the photo Palin shared is text that says: "They pretend it’s about fixing our environment ... But it’s really about stealing billions from the American people and giving it to foreign countries, governments and lobbyists!"

To be clear many of the folks in the photo are Florida Republicans who are certainly not fans of the Paris Climate Accords, and in fact many of who do not accept the conventional wisdom about climate change.

When Politico contacted them about this Facebook post, they had this to say:

Florida Republicans and insiders couldn’t stop mocking and laughing at Palin’s error. 

“I’m appalled. … As the owner of a publishing company, I find it appalling that she would use a low-res picture like this when a high-res picture is readily available,” joked state Rep. Scott Plakon, who’s in the picture standing with his hands together as he claps with joy. 

Plakon said, “I was almost in tears with laughter” that Palin got it so wrong with her 9:37 a.m. Tuesday post — which was shared nearly 8,000 times and generated hundreds of comments before it was deleted. “I’m not sure what she’s saying. Are we cheering for Paris or against it? I think she’s saying we’re celebrating Paris.”

You know making mistakes is simply part of blogging, but remember Palin outsources her Facebook posts and blog posts to a third party, who apparently gets paid for their work. 

I mean if this were the work of some coffee swilling middle aged dude in his pajama bottoms, that would be one thing. But this is a paid professional posting on the Facebook page of a former D-list political celebrity.

I think one would expect better.

But then again this is Palin, so perhaps this is exactly what we should expect.

So that was Palin's tweet today which linked back to her crappy websites to overladen with advertising that you can barely locate the content. (And then once you do you wish you had stopped at the advertisement for "Thinner Thighs in Ten Days.")

However if you visit Bristol's ghostwritten blog (A place I visit so rarely these days I had to follow a trail of dried up breadcrumbs to locate it again.) you will find a cobbled together post attacking Kathy Griffin for her Donald Trump's severed head imagery, with several shots at Levi Johnston just for shits and giggles.

It reads like the Facebook post of a woman who has waited years to finally get back at the woman who stole her boyfriend and made her feel worthless and alone.

At the end of this rant Bristol's ghostwriter adds this:  

Her jokes have never been funny to me.. probably because the only ones I’ve ever heard – have been directed at me or my family. (Well of course, the Palins rarely care about anything that does not effect them directly.)


I’m with the rest of the world on her recent photo school, and can’t believe a grown woman would pose like she did – she really does look like the photos you see of Isis Terrorists – and now she’s trying to play some role of a victim? Blaming white men?? I don’t get how you can even try to turn the tables on this one. Our president didn’t break you; you broke yourself, and you’re continuing to break any sort of “comedic career” by blaming everyone else. 

Kathy Griffin ain’t nooooo freaking victim in my eyes. 

I actually understand this ghostwriter's phony sentiment since it echoes my very real sentiment concerning the constant victim playing of the Palin clan.

For the entire nine years I have been covering them they have constantly whined about stalkers, liberals, ex-boyfriends, the "lamesteam media," comedians, talk show hosts, book authors, bloggers, etc., etc., etc..

So for the Palin clan (And their ghostwriters.) to call out a comedian for playing the victim is laugh out loud funny.

As is the idea that Sarah Palin's ghostwriter just authored a post, congratulating Bristol Palin's ghostwriter, for ghostwriting an attack on one of their many, many enemies.

It is almost as bizarre as congratulating a woman for giving birth to a child that she simply adopted.

Palin picks up on her daughter's ghostwritten post about mean liberal teachers and makes it even dumber.

Piper's endurance of incidents like this is admirable. The problem is when a teacher seeks to hurt a child who may not be as resilient as Piper has had to learn to be, that teacher will have scarred another child while never being held accountable. 

Funniest thing after this incident with the local Drama teacher was Piper's comment, "And of course, Mom, he drives a Prius."

Of course as I pointed out when this story first appeared two days ago over at Bristol's ghostwritten blog, it is VERY unlikely that anything like this happened, or that it happened in the way the Palin family ghostwriters describe it.

It is just another opportunity to garner sympathy by hiding behind the kids, and they are so dedicated to this methodology that they even decided to use it twice.

As Donald Trump would say, Sad. 

By the way, and just a little off topic, it appears that Dakota just bought Piper a car.

Okay just how much do former Medal of Honor recipients get paid? 

Because right now I have no idea what he actually does for a living.

Bristol Palin's ghostwritten blog tells a story about her sister being targeted by a liberal teacher. Moose poop doesn't really smell, but this does.

The first part of the poorly written post deals with an incident in New York, and then extrapolates to include, as always, a member of the Palin family.

In this case poor put upon little Piper Palin: 

Recently, my 10th grade sister actually just had something awkward happen to her at school. A liberal teacher, someone who has always hated my mom, went on a rant about President Donald Trump. This alone should be disturbing, but you can see it happens all over the nation to unsuspecting kids all the time. Of course, this teacher’s political rant turned into and (sic) anti-Sarah Palin rant. (Because why wouldn’t it?) 

Then, the teacher told the kids in his class that they should tell Piper what he said and how they feel about my mom’s politics! 

I couldn’t believe it. 

A few days later, after the teacher was sent to the principal’s office – literally – and interviewed by the principal, the teacher apologized to my dad. 

But what about the damage done to the kids in that class? What about the fact that teachers across America feel perfectly fine teaching kids THEIR version of American politics… what happens when people are spewing their political beliefs and the politician’s kid ISN’T in the class? 

I hope teachers start suffering some consequences (Yeah. I'll bet you do.)– but you know that probably won’t happen!

Okay first off we should remember that before Donald Trump was busy lying everyday to the American people, Sarah Palin and her family were doing that already. 

Secondly this supposedly happened in a Wasilla school, in one of the reddest parts of the state.

Do we really believe that in that atmosphere a teacher would let their liberal flag fly?

The word you are looking for here is "unlikely."

My take is that, at Sarah's urging, Bristol's ghostwriter took a completely unrelated incident and worked to somehow make it about the poor downtrodden Palins being victimized once again by some heartless liberal. 

We have seen this play out time and time again. (Remember Joe McGinniss supposedly peeking through Piper's bedroom window?)

I will say this, comparing Bristol's ghostwritten blog to her mother's click bait saturated ghostwritten "website," certainly makes Bristol's look ten times better.

I mean at least there is sometimes actual content there, whereas Palin's is empty and devoid of any personality at all.

Donald Trump fears the press because he knows what the press can do.

All of those accusations of "fake news" are just obvious attempts by Donald Trump to undermine a free press that he knows will soon uncover information that will lead to his downfall.

That was something that the ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz, who actually wrote "The Art of the Deal" warned us about four months ago.

So far Trump has been unable to do this.

However by constantly undermining their credibility and claiming they are the enemy of the American people, he has come frighteningly close.

Sarah Palin has a ghostwriter type up a post on her daughter's blog mocking the Women's March. Well of course she did.

Feminists say they are all about “strength,” yet they’re always playing victim – it’s embarrassing and it’s setting women back decades!  (If anybody wants to see who set women back decades, just take a look at this former politician.)

If today’s “feminists” only knew what real feminism is, maybe they could relax a little. Maybe be less angry; find a bit of joy in life. Feminism was founded by independent, hard working, capable women that were making a way in the world without whining, relying on government or anyone else. 

(Okay THIS is what happens when people skip history class or their mothers do not do an adequate job of teaching them about the progress that women have made in this country.)


A few serious questions for the feminists who marched last weekend: 

1. What rights do we as American women not have? We can’t vote? We can’t bear arms? We can’t go to school? We can’t work? We don’t have freedom of speech? We have every single opportunity in this great country that anyone else has. (The "everybody else" are men, and they do not typically have to worry about unwanted pregnancies, spousal abuse, and being paid less than the opposite gender.) Wake me when you start marching in the Islamic countries that murder women for showing more than their eyes in public. (Oh yes, did you hear? Suddenly the conservatives are concerned with how women are treated in Islamic countries.)

2. What are you trying to prove by dressing up like “pussies”? 

I’m embarrassed to be a woman in a generation like this. As a middle class working mom – wife – and independent woman – this is completely asinine. I’m telling you, dressing like a giant vagina and holding signs that say things like “Do my periods scare you?” is doing NOTHING to help women, and a LOT to hurt them. (Actually the march is only the beginning of an organizing effort that has already inspired 500 women to learn how to run for political office.)


3. What if the tables were turned? 

Can you imagine if men dressed as giant dicks? Wore penis hats? And held signs like “don’t assume I cook?” .. feminists would freak out and claim they’d been harassed, no doubt.

I can’t even believe the world we live in. My parents raised me to work hard, not to ever expect any handouts in life – and to treat people with respect – which is how I am raising my children. 

(Says a blog post written FOR the person whose name is at the top, by a writer hired by that same parent she credits with teaching about hard work and not taking hand outs.)

Our generation is screaming for “tolerance and equality” and “love for all” while still mocking our President for things like his hair – and igniting violence from uninformed – out of touch – celebrities like Madonna (“I’ve thought about blowing up the White House”), and screaming that someone else MUST provide them “free birth control.”

This ghostwriter's lack of knowledge about the history of feminism should be astounding to all of us, but in fact it is actually the norm these days.

The conservatives have put a lot of effort into mythologizing the actual feminist movement to suggest that it was started by hairy legged, bra burning, lesbians, and that REAL women should want no part of it.

After all who would make them a sandwich if every woman felt empowered?

In the meantime while Palin's ghostwriter attacks women for standing up to a misogynist asshole, that same misogynist asshole just reinstated a Reagan era abortion restriction.

What Sarah, Bristol, and this poor woman who I assume was paid to write this ignorant screed fail to understand is that things are about to get much, much worse for women, and those protesters that she so flippantly attacked were bravely standing up like the heroes we desperately need for HER rights whether she understands or appreciates them or not.

Just like the women at the beginning of the feminist movement did well over a hundred years ago.

The man behind Donald Trump’s official presidential tweets is a former golf caddy who has repeatedly promoted fake news stories and conspiracy theories on social media. 

The official President of the United States (POTUS) Twitter page was updated on Sunday to confirm the messages are being posted by Dan Scavino, Mr Trump’s “assistant” and Director of Social Media. 

Mr Scavino has used his own Twitter page to publish a number of untrue posts, including one of a video he said showed Syrian refugees in Germany holding a rally in support of Isis. The event was actually a protest against a German far-right group. 

He has also repeatedly shared content from conspiracy theory websites and fake news organisations, including InfoWars - a website whose founder, Alex Jones, believes the 9/11 attacks were an “inside job” carried out by the US government, that a number of other terrorist attacks on US soil were also the responsibility of the government, and that Osama in Laden was a CIA asset. 

So really nothing has changed.

We can not believe anything tweeted by Donald Trump on his personal account, and we cannot believe anything tweeted on the presidential account.

Oh and we also cannot believe anything said by his press secretary, his spokespeople, or, most likely, anybody in his cabinet.

Well this should be a fun and fact free four years.

Sarah Palin is so lazy that she is not even PRETENDING to write her own blog posts anymore.

So as you can see this is a screenshot from Palin's brand spanking new website.

Now in the past the posts on there were clearly ghostwritten, but they at least had her name on them.

Not anymore.

This post, and a number of the newer posts are written by Young Conservatives writers Andrew Mark Miller and Mary Kate Knorr.

Which essentially means that Sarah Palin is even too lazy to pretend to run her own tiny ass website.

Gee, no wonder Donald Trump did not choose her to be a part of his administration.  

This article itself is essentially just bitching about the fact that former President Obama, now no longer on the job, went golfing.

For some reason that just pisses Sarah Palin and the conservatives off that this man would have the temerity to golf after eight years of working his ass off to make this country a better place to live.

I think that somebody should explain to Palin, and her two ghostwriters, that when people work hard, they are ALLOWED to have some leisure time.

Unlike some people who quit their job and attempt to live off of donations from the dumbest people in the country for almost a decade. 

Bristol Palin refers to the A list celebrities refusing to perform at Trump's inaugural "sissies." Oh, apparently she can't spell "patriots."

If Donald Trump were still just a regular old billionaire and threw a party at Trump Tower in New York City, celebrities would be lined up out the door, and the most famous artists would be pining for a chance to perform. But because he will be inaugurated as the next Republican president in January, these same mega-celebrities, who would normally drool over an invitation to sing for the president, want no part of it. (Yeah kind of changes things when the thin skinned egotistical rich guy now endangers the country you love and the planet you call home.)

Trump’s inauguration team sought out some of the world’s greatest musicians, but nearly all of them have refused for fear of backlash or to stand against him politically. (Does she really think that Elton John and Celine Dion refused for fear of "backlash?" These are entertainment icons, they refused because they have a conscience and cannot condone the idea of supporting a dangerous demagogue like Donald Trump.)

Isn’t it amazing how “not cool” it is to be conservative in the public eye? Either Hollywood is that far off – or we have so many sissies we have in the spot light too scared to stand for what they believe in!

Odd use of the term "sissies" considering the fact that there are women named among the 11 celebrities that she is criticizing.

But then again I guess all men and women pale when compared to a Palin he-man like the girlfriend beating Track, right?

If only these talented, crybabies could drink them selves blind and stomp the shit out of a helpless loved one, THEN they might earn a little respect from the Palin hillbillies.

I almost feel it is not fair to criticize Bristol too aggressively for this post since it is quite likely that she does not even know that it has been published.

However since she continues to permit her mother to use her name to launch these kinds of attacks against her betters in the name of a pussy grabbing misogynist pig then I kind of run out of sympathy.

After all this is now a 26 year old married woman with a third child on the way, and an actual Medal of Honor winning husband, and she is STILL too much of a coward to stand up to her dried up old prune of a mother?

P.S. I should warn you that Bristol's ghostwritten post requires that you read through several pages of insults hurled at the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion, Garth Brooks, and Justin Timberlake. Trust me, it is not worth the time.

Bristol Palin thinks it would be disrespectful to show her boobs in public. As a member of the public I agree.

Okay so ostensibly this post is about women breast feeding in public.

Which Bristol and her ghostwriter may or may not support. (Kind of hard to tell from the psycho babble on the blog post.)

However for some reason Bristol/Bristol's ghostwriter decides to add this: 

Personally, I am so anti-breastfeeding in public. I just wouldn’t ever want anyone to see my breasts! There are plenty of ways to cover, and I feel it would be disrespectful to my husband.

Now I assume that this was included as a little tease for the men out there who, for whatever reason, still think there is some part of Bristol's anatomy that is not all used up.

After all thinly veiled sexual innuendo is kind of a family tradition.

But here's the thing.

Among the many, many pictures that I have been sent over the years from people who hate the Palins  is at least one quite revealing picture of Bristol, and TRUST me nobody is going to be clamoring to see her boobs.

And as we know she never really was that into breastfeeding, except as a way of manipulating men.

Besides if you want to see Palin boobs here is a picture of a whole bunch of them standing in a kitchen.

For the record breastfeeding is both normal and natural and anybody who would shame a woman for doing so in public needs to reach down the back of their pants and yank that stick right out of their ass.

Word of caution to our competent, exciting, “for-such-a-time-as-this” new President who will let the people make America great again: in draining the swamp one must not create a new swamp. (It looks like Palin's new ghostwriter may be a first year English Major.)

Opponents who did everything in their power to destroy the people’s Trump Movement (The "people's Trump Movement?" Isn't that kind of like "The People's Republic of China?"), now scrambling to hop aboard, can allow us to be even more thankful once we hear how they would keep our train barreling toward new, fresh, ethical, non-political grounds to make America great again. How will they serve the mission – once vigorously opposed – well? (And not a very good English Major.)

What changed between the campaign they overtly or covertly sought to decimate, and today’s transition team assembly? Voters believe our winning candidate is the same man, with the same plans, same character… they did not like any of it then, so we must ask: have you changed? Or has he? 

Those few of us who’ve served in office (However briefly.), having experienced this political phenomenon watching chameleons in self-preservation mode do their thing ("Do their thing?"), learned lots of lessons. Take it from us. Heaven forbid the same lessons be re-learned in this higher office as a result of sidling-up politicos who’d get President-elect Trump off-message. There just isn’t time. And we can’t take more betrayal. (Okay I actually think this new ghostwriter might be a college dropout. Or else at some point Palin pushed her aside and started just typing this herself.)


Thank God, literally, we’ll have a leader strong enough to withstand the wiles inherent in government. And thank God our eyes are open to threats against the promised drained swamp. 

As Trump discerningly creates his political circle, be vigilant so the new team succeeds for we the people. Be courageous in staying ahead of threats sensed, and call them out. That’s our job, for such a time as this.

I have to admit it took me probably longer than it should have to stop giggling about the idea of Sarah Palin writing for the "Young Conservatives." 

They must be awfully hard up for contributors.

AND they must not have seen a recent picture of her.

What? I'm still young.

However on the plus side it looks like Palin has a fallback position now that she knows she is not on Trump's short list for his cabinet.

Yep now she can leave the constraints of Facebook and allow her incomprehensible word salad to flow through the pages of some news outlet that I have never even fucking heard of before.

Seriously, the Young Conservatives?

That sounds like some kind of Alt Right rock band which shows up to gigs in three piece suits and Oliver North haircuts.

And how is it possible that with Stephen Bannon as Trump's chief propagandist that she cannot get a writing job at Breitbart?

Or do they require basic writing skills and at least some comprehension of the English language?

Sarah Palin once again hides behind her daughter in attack on Democrats over their change of opinion on FBI directer James Comey. Update!

This links to a ghostwritten piece on Bristol's barely remembered blog, that goes after Democrats for changing their minds to fit new evidence.

Remember when FBI director James Comey used to be the “paragon of virtue?” At least that’s what Democrats said, after he failed to prosecute Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information. Now, you guessed it, he’s suddenly being called corrupt?

The bureau boss is now the target of barbed Democratic attacks for his decision to notify lawmakers Friday that investigators were reviewing newly discovered emails related to the Hillary Clinton server case. And some of the same Democrats who over the summer defended Comey in the face of Republican pressure have emerged as his toughest critics. 

Topping that list is Harry Reid, the Senate minority leader who fired off a letter over the weekend to Comey informing him his actions may have violated a federal law known as the Hatch Act, “which bars FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election.” 

Reid accused Comey of a “double-standard” in his treatment of sensitive information, saying: “Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”

Because he stood up and did the right thing! Crazy!! Also, Nancy Pelosi called Comey a “great man” just recently, but now she’s saying “The public interest would be served by the FBI providing the facts, rather than allowing Republicans to stoke innuendo and falsehoods 11 days away from a presidential election.”

And as you can imagine that does not sit well with Bristol/Sarah/unnamed ghostwriter.

The hypocrisy is OUTRAGEOUS, but thank you, James Comey, for doing the right thing. 

The important takeaway from this is not so much its content, which you can find on Right Wing sites all over the internet, it is that Sarah Palin felt the need to drag her daughter into this fight in a sad attempt to reach out to millennials and those who despise the very sight of her.

Nothing written on here relates to Bristol's life, or Bristol's poorly informed point of view, in any way.

In Bristol's real life she is too busy spending her husband's money, selling diet energy drinks, and posting pictures of the leverage she uses to keep Dakota in line.

Sarah Palin's world is falling in around her, and in her desperation to cling to relevance she is willing to use any one of her children grandchildren, or adopted children to attract attention and deflect criticism.

However it is hard to feel sorry for Bristol, after all she could have a life of her own and reclaim her identity if only she had any sense of self worth and dignity left.

Update: Speaking of wishy washy, this is how Palin responded after James Comey did not indict Hillary Clinton over her e-mails:

Letting Hillary skate today is no surprise when the team she's on has celebrated its administrators pleading the fifth, over and over again, sending messages to America that they're all above the law. From the IRS's Lois Lerner to Hillary herself testifying in front of Congress, they've all told Congress to kiss off, and Congress kissed off. 

Today's FBI forgiveness of tyrants' illegal acts illustrate purpose in why I insist Americans rise up and tear down this tyrannical system that is destroying America from within. Truly, you're either with us or you're against us.

Yes her response was to call for folks to rise up and essentially overthrow the government.

But now everything's cool right?

Good news folks, Bristol Palin has marriage all figured out now.

Bristol then goes on to offer up some marriage quote pablum that really does not offer anything of any use.

Now look I recognize that considering my unfortunate experience with marriage I am the last person to give anybody any advice, however one thing I do know is that after only three months of marriage, you know NOTHING about being married.

And just in case you are wondering why Bristol is working so hard to give the impression that everything in her marriage is going perfectly, it is because the exact opposite appears to be the case.

According to the buzz in Wasilla the honeymoon stage has come to a screeching halt and the fact that they are now stuck with each other has caused more than a little friction between the lovebirds.

And apparently those Gino texts did not help matters much.

However much like Sarah and Todd, Bristol and Dakota are determined not to give any tabloids (Or know it all bloggers) the pleasure of spouting "I told you so's"  so they are working to keep things on the down low in the hopes that everything will work out in the end.

Now before the inevitable trolls slither over here claiming that these are private people and should be left alone, let me remind them that this post is in response to Bristol's post about making a happy marriage.

If she does not want to be ridiculed and called out over her bullshit, then she should resist the urge to give parenting, abstinence, or marriage advice ever again. Because we know better.

Simply put you do not stand in front of your house encased in flames and give your neighbors fire safety tips.

Bristol Palin (Ghostwriter) is going to educate all of us as to what is wrong with Hillary Clinton's family leave plan. Oh, this should be good.

Last week, I was sitting at my desk, working hard (Let's all pause here to let the laughing subside.), when I came across Hillary Clinton’s latest campaign talking point. Her latest way to steal our freedoms and crush our businesses involved something near and dear to my heart – family and motherhood. (Take note that by "steal our freedoms" Bristol and her ghostwriter are referring to a family leave plan to benefit working mothers and fathers.)

And I was blown away. I shook my head in awe of this stupidity. (Well we are all familiar with that feeling, aren't we?)

Honestly, I’m not a political expert (Snort! Sorry.) but I do have common sense. (Okay if I keep choking back my laughter this post might actually kill me.)  And motherhood, working hard, and small businesses are things that are key to my family and my life. 

Hillary’s proposed plan guarantees 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave to care for a new child or seriously ill family member. Beyond this government mandate, it also mandates that the person taking leave get at least 2/3 of their current wages. It claims to impose no additional costs on small businesses. How is this even possible? (I am going to go with raising taxes on the wealthy.)

It’s going to “make the wealthy” pay “their fair share.” (Ha! Knew it!) Whatever these words mean… (Pretty self explanatory actually.) which usually just means justifying socialist policies that harm hard workers. 

Trump’s latest plan also would mandate six weeks of paid leave, but it has nothing on Hillary’s. I would love to see private businesses be able to voluntarily offer this tremendous, unheard of benefit, but never should we support government forcing this uneconomic, unrealistic boondoggle. (Boondoggle?)

 Does Hillary Clinton plan to enforce this latest mandate on every single business? Even the small businesses that truly make this country great and employ most of our people? 

How does she plan on putting all of this in effect? (Uh policy is kind of her thing. She has undoubtedly already figured it out.)

I think of my husband, who owns a construction company, and how much that would affect his business. (Not much at all actually. The pay would come from a fund set up by the Clinton administration, and paid for by a tax hike on the wealthiest Americans, so all the company would have to do is hold the job for the returning employee.)

I think of the small doctor’s office I have been employed by for the last seven years, and I think of how much something like this would change us here. (Once again, not much.)


My husband and I were talking, and figuring out the math and logistics behind this (Holy shit! Could you even imagine that kind of a brain trust tackling math? It would be like a blind person leading a mentally challenged person into oncoming traffic.), and here is a basic way to look at Hillary’s proposed plan. 

If this was in effect – and say I make approximately $60,000.00 (easiest math) and I had a baby. That is AT LEAST $9,200.00 and 12 weeks off of work that I would be “guaranteed” to have with Hillary’s plan. 

CAN YOU IMAGINE?????!!!!! Where is this money going to be coming from? (Clinton already answered this question on her website.)I know I will get bashed for this, but no one deserves that! I have been at my job for over seven years now (Once again, snort!), and I was thrilled to have even two weeks paid vacation time to use toward my month long “maternity” leave. Where is the common sense in any of these plans? Where is the connection to reality? 

We should all be capitalists!! We need to get back to the basics. We need to work and not feel entitled to everything in life. We live in a world where everyone is looking for a crutch, where we compare everything to every other person and what they have, and trust me, I can be guilty of this at times too. (Yeah, just ask Sunny.)

But when we keep up this “poor me” attitude and an attitude of entitlement, our country will go nowhere but down. (Actually we are WAY behind other industrialized countries, some of which offer as much as 26 to 40 weeks of paid maternity leave.) And we have been going down fast! I look at what my kids will be growing up with, and what their society will be EXPECTING, and it really does leave me speechless. 

All of these people yelling everything from “free birth control” to “free college.” Do they not realize that when things are guaranteed, the prices actually go up, and all of our taxes go up along with it in order to pay for it? Where is the work ethic? Where is the incentive to do it on your own? (Says the woman who has literally had EVERYTHING handed to her.)

This is just further proof that Hillary Clinton wants to continue to “spread the wealth” just like Obama’s main plan was – make us all EQUAL no matter what our work ethic really is. (What? No comment about "welfare queens?" I'm disappointed.)

This goes beyond maternity leave plans, or medical leave plans. It’s a bigger issue than all of that. We need to get back to the basics as a country and we as Americans need to realize not everything in life should be handed to you.

SO MUCH BULLSHIT!

Okay so it looks like Bristol is once again lending out her name so that her mother can push these intellectually dishonest attacks against her political enemies.

I imagine that in her opinion this somehow makes it more palatable, but considering that Bristol is the spoiled rotten offspring of a nationally detested professional troll, who is constantly taking her baby daddies to court, that seems highly unlikely.

Besides are there really people out there who seriously believe Bristol can jot down a reasonably coherent grocery list, much less a long blog post like this one?

Bristol Palin's ghostwriter responds to criticism over Dakota Meyer's Facebook photo of gun with daughter.

Like everyone else, I’ve made plenty of mistakes in life  (Well no argument there.)– mine probably a little more public than most. One thing I am confident about, however, is my parenting ability. 

Recently, headlines have questioned my and my husband’s parenting acumen (Yeah, clearly a ghostwriter.), stemming from pictures posted of our kids in the proximity of guns. 

Do people forget what the Second Amendment is? We have a Constitutional right to bear arms! We also have a responsibility to protect our families. (From?)

Why are gun owners continually shamed – and proponents of the second amendment made to feel guilty – just because of controversy swirling around wackos who used guns in their evil attacks? (No that is not the reason. The reason is because 110 children die each year in what are termed "accidental shootings.") Do we shame car owners after tragic car accidents? Or demand all knife owners be punished with diminished rights after a knife is blamed for injury? Do we blame spoons for destroying lives by making us fat? (That is the same ignorant argument made by the NRA. The main purpose of cars is transportation, knives are for cutting things, and spoons are for eating, If ANY of those were designed and manufactured for the sole purpose of killing then that would be a viable comparison.)

I’m not ashamed to be a gun owner, and definitely not ashamed to teach my kids about gun safety at a young age. 

Firearms are a big part of my family’s life.  (Yeah Track could not have threatened his girlfriend without them.) We’re armed for protection. My husband was a Marine sniper. We hunt; we live off the land in Alaska -keeping our freezers full with meat we’ve hunted and harvested. I grew up hunting and fishing – just like my husband did – and just like we’ll raise our kids to do. 

I usually ignore tabloids stories, they really don’t bother me. But I won’t let the latest headlines go unanswered: I can tell you, I’m proud to be a gun owner; I love our Constitution; I’m proud to teach my kids gun safety; and I know I’m parenting right when it comes to family, work ethic, values, and what’s really important in life. And I promise you, my kids are safer, and more protected and nurtured, in our own home than they could ever be anywhere else. 

So clearly this was written by somebody other than Bristol, but as of right now I have no idea if Nancy French is back in the mix or if this is somebody completely new.

By the way from what I have been told Bristol did not do much hunting as a young girl. Much like her mother she was not terribly interested in those activities.

And as for gun safety, that is something that Levi has been teaching Tripp, not Dakota or Bristol.

Simply put the criticism that Dakota received was NOT about being a gun owner, it was about having his guns in close proximity to a child.

Every single day we seem to hear about yet another child losing their life due to a grownup not being careful with a firearm. The people who made remarks simply did not want to see Sailor Grace or Tripp lose their life for such an easily preventable reason.

A truly loving and caring parent would take that criticism to heart.

For some reason the husband of Bristol's Palin's former ghostwriter is coming to the defense of her new husband.

So after we posted about Dakota Meyer's carelessness around his infant daughter, apparently David French, husband of former Palin ghostwriter Nancy French, decided to throw in his two cents.

Here is a portion from the National Review article titled "Silly People Freak Out Over a Picture of a War Hero and a Gun":

That’s Dakota Meyer — a Marine who was awarded the Medal of Honor for action in the Battle of Ganjgal (you can read my review of his book here). If there is a man alive today who know how to handle a firearm, it’s Dakota Meyer. 

Notwithstanding his expertise and experience, internet trolls freaked out at the proximity of his pistol to his baby daughter. Here’s how the Daily Mail described the picture: 

"In the image, the Medal of Honor winner appears to be getting ready to leave his house. While he can be seen adjusting the holster, Sailor is innocently sucking on her pacifier, unaware that a lethal weapon is mere inches away from her." 

“Mere inches away” — the drama, oh the drama. But I must confess that I’m confused. Is the concern that Meyer’s infant daughter will pitch forward in her car seat, grab the gun while tumbling down from the kitchen island, and fire it while her father stands right next to her – completely helpless? Or is the concern that a baby is next to a gun — and everyone knows that guns just radiate deadliness and malice. 

 I suspect it’s the latter — because it’s obvious to me that Sailor is in absolutely zero physical danger. You can’t even tell from the picture whether the gun is loaded or a round is chambered. Either way, the concerns are ludicrous. I’ve held my youngest daughter — who’s much older than Sailor and far more capable of grabbing a gun – countless times while carrying a firearm, and each time she was “mere inches away” from a “lethal weapon.” The issue isn’t proximity of the gun to the child but whether the adult is in control of access to the gun. Sailor is perfectly safe, and the anti-gun internet remains perfectly ludicrous.

Okay so the first thing I have to wonder is whether the French's are once again in the employ of the Palin family and David is providing some damage control in response to Meyer being raked over the coals for being a dimwit and a shitty parent.

However considering that Palin is hemorrhaging money, and SarahPAC is gasping its last breath, I'm not sure that's the case.

And since this article predates Meyer going off on Trump over his treatment of the military, this cannot be from a sense of camaraderie that the French's feel toward another #NeverTrump devotee.

So we are left with the one of two options. Either David French is simply so goo goo eyed over any Medal of Honor inner that he feels compelled to rush to their defense, or that Dakota is such a delicious hunk of man flesh that David French finds himself slipping out of the closet.

Either one seems both possible, and probable.

The inevitable unmasking of Donald Trump.

I can't believe how easy it is to fool these schmucks.

So as the Republican convention starts there have been a number of extremely damaging articles that have been published that call into question every positive thing he presents about himself and accentuates his negatives.

Let's take a look at three of them.

First there is this from the Washington Post:

As he has prepared to be named the Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump has not read any biographies of presidents. He said he would like to someday. 

He has no time to read, he said: “I never have. I’m always busy doing a lot. Now I’m more busy, I guess, than ever before.” 

Trump’s desk is piled high with magazines, nearly all of them with himself on their covers, and each morning, he reviews a pile of printouts of news articles about himself that his secretary delivers to his desk. But there are no shelves of books in his office, no computer on his desk.

Reporters and others have already extensively pointed out the obvious similarities between Trump and Sarah Palin, and this is just one more to add to the pile.

Palin's answer to what she read disqualified her almost immediately for the job of VP in 2008, however there is little evidence that Trump will suffer the same fate eight years later.

(By the way, also like Palin, Trump claims that he makes decisions using "common sense." Yeah you need a whole lot more than common sense to run this country.)

Six people who participated in the loan workout negotiations have a different recollection, raising questions about a key part of the personal narrative that many of Trump's supporters have found compelling as he campaigns to be the next president of the United States on Nov. 8. On the campaign trail he has portrayed himself as a survivor and a master negotiator.

The six bankers and lawyers involved in the deal claim that Trump did not come to them looking for a better deal, but that it was the banks who approached him when they recognized he was on the brink of collapse, and the only "deal making" was on their part as they worked out how to save his business.

In the end all Trump did was sign on the dotted line. So much for any "Art of the Deal."

And speaking of the "Art of the Deal." here is an excerpt from the interview that The New Yorker conducted with the man who actually wrote that book for Donald Trump: 

Schwartz thought about publishing an article describing his reservations about Trump, but he hesitated, knowing that, since he’d cashed in on the flattering “Art of the Deal,” his credibility and his motives would be seen as suspect. Yet watching the campaign was excruciating. Schwartz decided that if he kept mum and Trump was elected he’d never forgive himself. In June, he agreed to break his silence and give his first candid interview about the Trump he got to know while acting as his Boswell. 

“I put lipstick on a pig,” he said. “I feel a deep sense of remorse that I contributed to presenting Trump in a way that brought him wider attention and made him more appealing than he is.” He went on, “I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization.” 

If he were writing “The Art of the Deal” today, Schwartz said, it would be a very different book with a very different title. Asked what he would call it, he answered, “The Sociopath.”

So essentially, much like Sarah Palin, virtually EVERYTHING we think we know about Donald Trump is pure unadulterated bullshit.
