The Trump Organization has reportedly edited out a reference in President Trump's corporate biography that highlights his involvement in the birther movement, which aimed to prove the baseless assertion that former President Obama was not born in the United States.
The controversial line read, "in 2011, after failed attempts by both Senator McCain and Hillary Clinton, Mr. Trump single handedly forced President Obama to release his birth certificate, which was lauded by large segments of the political community."
The organization removed the line, which had been part of Trump's bio as early as August 2015, CNN's KFile reported Tuesday, pointing to a recent review of the Internet Archive.
The change likely took place around the time of Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, sometime between Jan. 13 and Jan. 24, according to the report.
The removed birther line also echoed Trump's accusation on the campaign trail that Clinton had started the birther conspiracy during her 2008 presidential campaign.
“Hillary Clinton in her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it,” Trump said in September 2016.
Of course that accusation was debunked quite a while ago, but factual inaccuracy is surely not the reason the Trump Organization would remove that statement from the biography.
However an attempt to revise history is a far more likely reason.
Trump is clearly trying to create distance between himself and his racist base, and believes that this well help to accomplish that.
Unfortunately for him those of us who deal in facts have long memories.
We will NEVER forget who he is, and what he has done.
Never.
Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Petty Putin puppet throws author off golf course for writing that he raped his wife.
Courtesy of Politico:
A Koch associate told POLITICO that when Hurt returned from his exchange with Trump, he offered to take an Uber home and allow the rest of the foursome to continue playing without him.
“And David said, ‘No, we came as a foursome and we'll leave as a foursome,’” said the Koch associate, who was briefed on the incident.
What happened after that exchange is slightly different depending on who is telling the story.
According to a member of Trump's transition team security tapped Hurt on the shoulder and asked him to leave after he returned to his foursome.
However a member of that foursome said that there was no interaction with security at all.
Either way it just makes Trump look petty.
Awfully thin skinned for a rapist, don't you think?

So Donald Trump's wife got green card married before meeting Donald Trump? Maybe.
Courtesy of Univision:
In an interview with Larry King Live in 2005 Melania Trump said that she had never been married before meeting Donald Trump.
But, Michael Wildes, an immigration attorney who worked for the Trump Organization, told Univision's investigative unit that she obtained a green card four years earlier in 2001, “based on marriage.”
Melania and Donald Trump were not married until Jan. 22, 2005 at Bethesda-by-the Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida.
When asked to explain the marriage discrepancy, Wildes said he would seek clarification, presumably from the Trump Organization. He later sent an email saying “I didn’t hear back, sorry.”
Wildes said he acted “on behalf of Trump models” and handled legal work to obtian visas and green cards for Miss Universe when Trump owned the pageant. He told Univision that he had been authorized by the Trump Organization “to speak on the matters concerning Melania.”
He said he could not comment on how the Melania Trump became a U.S. permanent resident.
“Ms. Trump received citizenship in 2006 and prior to that she had a green card based on marriage,” he said in a recorded interview by phone. “Before that, she had a work visa and was in full compliance on her visas and never disrespected any of them. That has been made clear to me.”
Wildes later clarified that legal privacy issues meant he could not discuss her status. “There are certain parts of the process that remain private. The immigration authorities don’t discuss this nor should we,” he said.
How convenient.
Apparently the Trump campaign is already pushing back on this story.
And being married before really should make no difference, especially considering Trump's history with marriage.
However since the official Melania Trump biography claimed that she was only married one time to Donald Trump, and the campaign is pushing back against this story, that makes it newsworthy.
You know I cannot help but notice that virtually ANY of these scandals would have destroyed the campaign of any other politician, yet for reasons that completely escape me the Trump train keeps right on chugging away.

Of course that in no way means it is inaccurate as we have seen Trump do the same thing with virtually EVERY negative, yet factually based, story that has come out about him, his campaign, or his family.Trump campaign pushing back on Univision report in statement: "Melania was not married prior to her marriage to Mr. Trump in 2005."— Ben Schreckinger (@SchreckReports) August 6, 2016

In the attacks against Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis the Right Wing has decided to bring out the big guns. That's right they unleashed the Bristol!
Get a load of this from Brancy's blog:
If you aren’t paying attention to Texas politics right now, join the crowd. But the Democrat running for governor is just so awful you have to pay attention. Wendy Davis rose to the top of everyone’s minds because her story was so compelling. This CNN headline summed it up:
CNN: Wendy Davis: From Teen Mom to Harvard Law to Famous Filibuster
Turns out, she lied about much of her “pulling herself up by her own bootstraps” story. Actually, she found a man to marry her, pay her way through college, and then through Harvard Law School. The day after he paid the last bill, she left him. By the way, she left her kids too. She said, “it’s not a good time for me right now” to be the custodial parent.
Is everyone paying attention? This woman is the hero of the Left? A woman whose ambition and ego were so big she couldn’t have both a career and kids at the same time. (Yeah why couldn't she fake a pregnancy and have an extra kid while running for office like Bristol's mom?)
Gosh, children are sooo inconvenient, huh? I’m glad my mother didn’t put motherhood on the shelf when she was elected to City Council, then became our mayor, then Governor. Oh sorry – I mentioned my mother… Have you liberals gone into a tail spin of hate already? Did I lose you?
I know you would rather think about Wendy Davis, so let’s get back to her. She’s more your type of woman. She left her kid, husband, made it into a false “made-for-tv-movie-type-tale” and then demanded that Texans have the right to kill babies. That’s the woman you libs can really get behind!
Let me be clear. I think it’d be so nice to have a husband take care of me, and my son, so I could attend school. (Any school — let alone, Harvard!)
But the way Wendy Davis did it – by getting married and leaving him as soon as the ink dried on his last check – is downright pathetic.
Plus, it perfectly shows that – no matter what they say – feminism is a farce. If you truly believe in strong, independent women, you’d be a conservative.
This from a family where virtually EVERYTHING about their lives, achievements, and even the birth of their children is made up?
Seriously?
Hell even this blog post is written by somebody other than a Palin.
Ironically the article that Brancy links to, is really not that negative.
It points out some inconsistencies in her biography and quotes an an anonymous colleague saying things that are not terribly flattering, but overall her campaign and story are supported by her children, her ex-husband, and the majority of the facts.
Is there ANY Palin family member who could say the same?
Look if the Right Wing wants to smear this woman, and holy shit do they, then they better find a better mouthpiece than Bristol "I use up men and toss the aside like tissue paper" Palin.
However it is worth pointing out that lightweight Bristol is only one member of the pitchfork wielding horde unleashed by the Right, which tells me that they are panic stricken over this woman and terrified of what her election as Governor of Texas might mean for that state and the Republican party in general.
And yes that definitely makes her a "woman that the libs can really get behind."

Fox News all in a tizzy over unauthorized book on Roger Ailes.
Courtesy of Media Matters:
Random House has begun rolling out New York reporter Gabriel Sherman's unauthorized biography of Fox News CEO Roger Ailes for its January 21 release. For more than a year, Fox News has attempted to discredit the book by attacking Sherman with vitriolic online attacks ("stalker," "embarrassment," "PHONEY JOURNALIST") and by reportedly helping with a counter-biography and firing a top Fox executive.
Sherman's The Loudest Voice in the Room states it draws on "more than 600 interviews with people who've known Ailes over his remarkable five-decade career as well as a rich variety of other sources" and "documents Ailes's tactical acuity as he battles with the press, business rivals, and countless real and perceived enemies inside and outside Fox."
Fox News reportedly attempted to counterbalance Sherman's book by working with Zev Chafets on an Ailes-friendly biography. Politico reported that Ailes agreed to cooperate with Chafets' biography "because he was eager to preempt Sherman's version with a more favorable and hopefully sympathetic account of his legacy." Fox News was clearly happy with Chafets' final work, as numerous Fox News personalities praised the book, and Chafets was afforded ample airtime on Fox properties.
Fear over Sherman's book was also reportedly a factor in Ailes' firing of Fox News vice president Brian Lewis. Gawker reported that "Lewis was paid approximately $8 million in hush money" and quoted an unnamed Fox News executive stating of the separation: "Everything was about Gabe Sherman." The source "further explained that, up until the day of Lewis's dismissal, the channel's public relations division, which Lewis oversaw, had suffered from heated internal disagreements about how to properly handle Sherman's book." The Hollywood Reporter wrote that "rumors have swirled that Lewis also was suspected of helping Gabe Sherman." Fox News personalities have regularly attacked Sherman and his work for more than a year.
Oh yeah, Fox News is all about making up stuff about other people, but have somebody threaten to tell the truth about one of them, and they lose their shit.
Well guess what just moved to the top of my reading list.

Sarah Palin bares her fangs in defense of her "sugar daddy" Roger Ailes.
| "NO I don't ever hear anything bad about Roger Ailes. La La La, I can't hear you!" |
Over the weekend I caught up on some reading and noticed the level of swipes recently taken at Fox’s CEO Roger Ailes. I thought…really? Why are some so obsessed with Roger…obsessed to the point that they are so so so busy taking swipes at him? Is it Roger’s success that makes them all crazy? or is it their inability to beat him or do better than he does? or is it a combination of both? Or is is some simmering old grudge? or worse, it is some fanciful thoughts about conspiracies? I don’t get the obsession. I think it is old fashion jealousy about his success. He has and is beating everyone else.
This is just part of the Fox News coordinated response to a book being written about Roger Ailes by journalist Gabriel Sherman.
However if Greta REALLY has no idea why people see conspiracies around every corner at about Fox News than she is living proof that Fox News is where journalism goes to die.
Greta would have to be locked in a hermetically sealed box every night to not be aware that Fox is nothing more than a propaganda tool for the Republican party, or that their parent company News Corp is not under an intense investigation for unethical practices that has many convinced the same is true of Roger Ailes and Fox News.
And can she REALLY be unaware that Fox News won a lawsuit giving them the right to lie to the American people?
Of course she's aware, however she hopes the average Fox Viewer is too stupid to know the facts.
And speaking of too stupid to know the facts, Greta's little literary handjob to soothe Roger Ailes bruised feelings attracted the attention of the Grizzled Mama. And you know when somebody is sucking
![]() |
| 'You call THAT sucking up? Here let me show you some REAL sucking up!" |
Ooh, that was disgusting. I think I even thew up in my mouth a little.
This is, of course, yet another example of Palin's famous projection. Essentially assigning to the Left the kinds of tactics that are the bread and butter of Roger Ailes and his team of pseudo journalists at Faux News.
But of course Palin has to defend him, after all who else would EVER hire her?
Gee I forget, just why did Roger Ailes hire Palin in the first place? "I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings!"
Oh that's right. How could I have forgotten?

Book cover for the Joe McGinniss book "The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin" revealed!
From Today:
Joe McGinniss’ upcoming biography of Sarah Palin has a cover design more fitting for a detective novel. It has a bold red, black and white color scheme and features a dark, defiant silhouette of the former Alaska governor, her hands on her hips.
The image was released Monday by Broadway Books, which this fall is releasing “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin.”
Oooh I like it!
Now THAT captures the true essence of Sarah Palin. The haughty, ball breaking bitch of a woman just daring anybody to criticize her.

The new Sarah Palin biography is out!
Let's see if we can find the lies!
A new biography of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin reveals that her secret pregnancy with son Trig was nearly uncovered when one of her daughters discovered Trig's prenatal ultrasound scan and confronted Palin with the picture. "Sarah made one slip-up – but [she] dampened suspicion by explaining it away," reports Trailblazer: An Intimate Biography of Sarah Palin, by PEOPLE Assistant Editor Lorenzo Benet and being published Tuesday by Simon & Schuster's Threshold Editions.
Well in my opinion this whole statement is a lie, but even if I were wrong she admits that she at least lied to her children by "explaining it away". Way to parent by example Governor!
"Not discussing the pregnancy with her daughters, she felt, would shorten the process and spare them from unwanted attention" .
"Unwanted attention" from who? If only the children knew then how could anybody else be bothering them about it? That is one of the dumbest statements I have ever heard.
Trailblazer also reveals another reason Palin kept the pregnancy quiet. She tells Benet, who interviewed Palin and her family for a 2008 PEOPLE cover story: "Not knowing in my own heart if I was going to be ready to embrace a child with special needs – I couldn't talk about it."
Well we have now seen for ourselves whether Sarah can embrace a child with special needs and the answer, based on how she carries and interacts with him, is NO. However oddly enough the person who seems to demonstrate the most affection for little Trigg Palin is Bristol. Hmmm. Oh and let's not forget hair slicking Piper Palin, she likes the baby too.
The biography also reports that Trig's health was problematic from birth – he was born with a congenital heart defect typically found in half the babies with Down syndrome – but it cleared up on its own without surgery.
What? It "cleared up on its own without surgery"? Is that even possible? Well it appears it IS possible but it is not without its own set of potential complications according to this website:
Many heart abnormalities (including patent ductus arteriosus, ventricular septal defect, truncus arteriosus, atrioventricular septal defect, tetralogy of Fallot, and transposition of the great arteries) can be corrected with a single operation in early infancy. More complex abnormalities (including hypoplastic left heart syndrome and tricuspid atresia) may require a series of two or three operations beginning in the newborn period and completed at approximately 3 years of age.
With most complex abnormalities, the children spend the majority of their time in the care of their parents at home, with occasional visits to the pediatric cardiologist (a heart specialist) as well as to the child's primary care doctor.
Less invasive procedures done in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, rather than the operating room, may be used to treat some conditions. Such treatments may include balloon angioplasty or valvuloplasty to relieve an obstruction of a blood vessel (such as in coarctation of the aorta) or a valve obstruction (such as in pulmonary or aortic stenosis). In these procedures, a pediatric cardiologist inserts a catheter, a thin plastic tube with a special balloon attached, into a blood vessel. The balloon is then inflated to stretch open the narrow area of the blood vessel or heart valve. Another procedure called transcatheter device occlusion may be used to close abnormal openings or holes within the heart or blood vessels (such as in patent ductus arteriosus, atrial septal defects, and ventricular septal defects) without requiring surgery.
Some abnormalities, such as small- or moderate-sized ventricular septal defects, may close or decrease in relative size as your child grows. While waiting for the hole to close, the doctor may prescribe medicines for your child, which some kids also need to take after surgery.
So even if this condition "cleared up on it's own" meaning that the "small or moderate-sized ventricular septal defect" closed as Trig Palin grew, it still would have meant multiple trips to the doctor to monitor little Trig's progress. And that directly contradicts what Cathy Baldwin-Johnson said in the letter she wrote about Governor Sarah's health history.
"He had some minor problems with jaundice which required phototherapy in the hospital and at home for several days."
She also said of little Trig that "He was able to go home at two days of age with his mother."
Bullshit. You do not send a baby with a congenital heart defect home after only two days of observation. So who is lying here? Sarah Palin or Cathy Baldwin-Johnson? Because somebody sure as hell is!
Update: Okay I was unable to connect to the People magazine site for over two hours and could not continue this post. But things are back online so let me take up where I left off.
Trailblazer also sheds new light on the relationship between Palin's eldest daughter, Bristol, and her fiancé, Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol's son, Tripp, born Dec. 27, 2008. While Bristol was pregnant last year, she was living in Anchorage with her aunt and uncle, Heather and Kurt Bruce, and working at two espresso shops – while also attending West High School.
Okay now once again this does not jive with the facts that we know about when Bristol left school. Bristol was out of the house and visiting her aunt in Anchorage as early as December of 2007.
Mark Okeson, the assistant principal at Wasilla High School, told the Chicago Tribune that Bristol started her junior year last fall, in the town where Sarah Palin grew up.
He said Bristol inexplicably transferred to an Anchorage high school midyear, leaving Levi behind. ("Midyear" is December or January, not April or May, which is when it would have had to be for this pregnancy to have produced Tripp Palin on December 27th, 2008.)
"I never heard the story why," he said. (Hmm also interesting.)
So why was Bristol out of school in December 2007 if little Tripp was not due until December 2008? I just how long do Palin babies gestate?
And we KNOW she was not attending school in West High because that is where the Mono story came from. And I would love to know which Espresso shops she was supposedly working at, I have time on my hands I would be perfectly willing to go and interview the owners of those coffee huts.
Wow this book is so full of lies and cover ups that I cannot believe that a reputable publisher would have had the balls to publish it.
You just wait until reporters and bloggers have a chance to read the WHOLE THING because I have little doubt that there are far more inconsistencies to uncover.
By the way here is the first chapter for those with a strong stomach.

New Sarah Palin biography coming soon to a Conservative Christian bookstore near you!
Can't you just feel the excitement in the air at the thought of yet ANOTHER Sarah Palin biography that you can purchase as a gag gift for that feminist co-worker of yours, or the sister who belongs to PETA, or the English major in the family who finds Palin's over use of the words "also", "betcha". and "gotcha" comparative to fingernails being slowly scraped across a blackboard? Oh the gift giving possibilities are endless!
I know what you are thinking. Hasn't there already been a biography written about Caribou Barbie? Well, yes there has. But surely you did not think that Kaylene Johnson's opus "Sarah Palin: The Rise of a Political Star" could possibly satisfy the nations hunger to learn more about Governor Sarah did you?
Oh contraire mon fraire.
And what juicy little nuggets will this newest book provide for the rabid Republican Palin fetishists?
-- "I love a man in Carhartts!" (quotes Governor Palin.) (Nothing like the stiffest, roughest fabric on earth rubbing up a woman's face to get her motor running. Does Sarah have a touch of masochism in her?)
—Todd won Sarah's parents over when he taught her how to drive. ("Taught her how to drive"? Wow my opinion of Todd Palin just went up a few notches. Why didn't I think of that when I was young and trying to get teenage daughters away from their protective fathers and someplace where I could "teach them something".)
—August 29 has become a big day. Sarah and Todd got married on Aug. 29, 1988, it's Sen. John McCain's birthday, and McCain announced the name of his running mate on Aug. 29, 2008. (And August 29th, 2008 is when Alaska started to learn just how little they knew about their Governor. How is that for a coincidence?)
—Sarah and five of her buddies became so good at aerobics that they were named the "Elite Six" and performed as a group at the state fair in return for free parking and food. (Now let me get this straight. Young Sarah Palin exercised her body so that she could get greasy fatty Fair foods to put back into her body? You know I think I have just discovered the earliest known example of "Palin logic".)
—In 1993, while Sarah was commercial fishing with Todd, his and another boat bumped. Sarah's hand got caught between the rails, crushing some fingers. After a quick trip to the hospital, she was back out helping Todd the next day, not wanting to disappoint him. (That Todd Palin, what a class act. And I guess that question about masochism is all cleared up as well.)
But you know the sad thing is that this book will undoubtedly be a best seller. Hell if just the Team Sarah members alone buy this thing it will be in its second printing in no time!
(The book "Trailblazer: An Intimate Portrait of Sarah Palin" will be available on February 17th. Order yours now and beat the rush!)
