A convicted felon who accidentally shot himself in the penis was arrested after police say he lied about how the shooting happened.
Donald Anthony Watson was admitted to the Avera McKennan emergency room about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 6 for a gunshot wound to his penis, according to an arrest affidavit.
When questioned by police, the 43-year-old said he was shot by “a black guy (who) tried to rob” him while he was taking out the trash at his apartment.
The story seemed a little suspicious to the police who got a search warrant and were able to determine that this Watson guy shot himself in the dick while he was contemplating whether to buy the gun from an unknown party.
Now the man faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a drug offender, false report of a crime to law enforcement and false report of information to law enforcement. So you know his life just took a significant turn for the worse.
Don't you just hate it when the your metallic penis shoots your real penis out of spite, and there is not a handy black guy around to blame it on?

"Doomsday Prepper," and convicted pedophile, gets arrested after appearance on National Geographic channel, because you are really not supposed to have weapons if you are an ex-con.
Courtesy of Raw Story:
Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Washington state man who was shown firing two rifles on the “Doomsday Prepper” reality show.
In the November episode of the National Geographic Channel program, Tyler Smith – a convicted felon who’s barred from owning guns — describes his plans to commit armed robbery and shots firearms on his property in Buckley.
“His stated plan was not to defend himself but to use weapons he illegally possessed, to rob his neighbors at gunpoint,” said Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor in a statement. “Did he really think that this wouldn’t attract our attention?”
The 26-year-old Smith was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was previously convicted of theft and a gross misdemeanor for communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
Ever hear of a background check National Geographic?
And you know it has always been my suspicion that these Doomsday Prepper assholes are less concerned with keeping themselves safe, and more concerned with having the firepower to take from others whatever they want once the government and law enforcement structure crumbles around them.
Essentially they are itching to bully and harass their neighbors once there is no way that they can be held accountable. They are not afraid of the end of civilization, they are looking forward to it.
Fortunately for us that is as unlikely to happen as for this guy to receive an invitation in the mail to join Mensa.

White supremacist felon builds arsenal and compiles list of possible targets. US Attorney says he has no idea how he was able to get the weapons. Yeah, what a mystery.
Courtesy of Think Progress:
Federal agents were tracking Ohio resident Richard Schmidt’s imports of counterfeit sports jerseys when they stumbled upon his arsenal of 18 guns, more than 40,000 rounds of ammunition, and bulletproof body armor. Besides the arsenal, he had lists of Jewish and black leaders in Detroit, MI. He is also an ex-felon who killed a Hispanic man and wounded two others 24 years ago.
Yet before December, no one even noticed that Schmidt, 47, was amassing weapons illegally, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Instead, federal investigators zeroed in on his sports memorabilia shop around September 2011, tracking his shipments of knock-off jerseys from China for over a year before they discovered the cache of firearms.
Schmidt plead guilty to federal gun charges and the counterfeit racket last month, and will be sentenced in October. But many connected to the crime are still scratching their heads over how an ex-felon with ties to white supremacist groups was able to get his hands on so many guns.
“I can’t tell you how he got all those guns and ammunition,” U.S. Attorney Steven Dettelbach told the Plain Dealer. “It’s not that I won’t tell you; it’s that I can’t. This is somebody who should never have had one gun, one bullet. But he had an entire arsenal.”
Schmidt is technically banned from possessing a gun for the rest of his life. In 1989, he pulled a gun on three men during a traffic argument, killing one man and wounding the other two. He was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and served 12 years in prison.
"I can't tell you how he got all those guns and ammunition." Seriously?
I'm confused is NOW the right time to bring up the importance of stricter gun control laws, background checks at gun shows, and keeping people from being able to buy guns and ammo off of the internet.
Because, and I'm just spit balling here. that MIGHT be how this idiot got his weapons.
And don't give me that 2nd Amendment bullshit either, because do you know what REALLY stops a bad guy with a gun? Too many laws, and too muhc paperwork for the bad guy to get the gun in the first place THAT'S what!

Jon Stewart has a lot of fun with Ted Stevens felony conviction.
And what is with John McCain's "air quotes" and dismissal of women's health issues?
Samantha Bee has something to say about that.
