Donald Trump dines and plays golf with Sean Hannity. Oooh, somebody might be getting a White House gig soon.

Courtesy of The Hill:

President Trump reportedly dined with Fox News personality Sean Hannity at the president's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida this weekend.

The Palm Beach Post also reported that Trump golfed with Hannity on Saturday.

“The president was in a very good mood. He seemed very, very happy,” longtime Republican operative Larry Casey, who was a guest at the club, told the Post.

Casey added that he saw the two golfing together, while the president remained uncharacteristically silent on social media.

Their meetings come as the White House searches for a replacement for Hope Hicks, Trump's longtime aide and White House communications director. Hicks's last day in the White House was on Thursday.

On the one hand you would think that common sense dictates that hiring Sean Hannity as you communications director would ridiculous on its face, but then you might thing "Why in the hell am I attributing common sense to any decisions that Donald Trump might make?"

And of course Hannity is likely far more effective for Trump lying his ass off for him on Fox News, then he would be lying his ass for him to reporters at he White House.

(Here he is begging James Comey to come on his show, while at the same time attacking Anderson Cooper and CNN as "fake news.")

However I actually think that Hannity's job is in jeopardy at Fox, and that he might be looking for a soft place to land, which would make a gig at the White House much more attractive to him.

Look I don't know, we're just speculating here.

But what I do know is that if Trump gave Sean Hannity a job in his communications department, he might as well go ahead and tap Sarah Palin for a cabinet position as well, because he has already crossed over the line of lunacy at that point.

In what should come as a surprise to nobody, Donald Trump cheats at golf. Update!

Courtesy of Golf:

LPGA legend Suzann Pettersen is fond of the sitting U.S. president. But she's not so sure about his handicap.

In an interview with Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang, Pettersen detailed the many sides to her relationship with President Trump, whom she has known on and off the golf course for over a decade.

"He cheats like hell," the 15-time LPGA Tour winner said. "So I don't quite know how he is in business. They say that if you cheat at golf, you cheat at business." Pettersen also said the president must pay his caddies well, as drives that are headed for the woods always ends up back in the fairway. She also mentioned his fondness for gimmes.

You know this is going to really piss Trump off, as it undermines his personal mythology about having a 3 handicap.

But why would we be at all surprised?

The guy cheats at business, cheats on his wife, and cheated in the 2016 election.

So of COURSE he cheats at golf.

Update: Pettersen is now calling this article "fake news."

Well, it certainly appears that somebody got an angry phone call.

So whose fault was Hawaii's false missile alert yesterday? Oh, I think we know.

Could you even imagine receiving that?

I grew up during the Cold War and I never had anything happen that was anywhere near as frightening as this.

And it even appeared on local Hawaiian television.
Terrifying!

I went to college in Hawaii and I have say that back then at least there were just not that many places to go to for shelter.

The same must be essentially true today because residents were literally stuffing their children down storm drains in a frantic attempt to keep them safe.
It was almost forty minutes later that residents received this correction.
Can you imagine being that terrified for more than half an hour, only to find out that it was all a mistake?

Speaking of mistakes Donald Trump just kept right on golfing while all of this was going on:

Critics are blasting President Donald Trump for continuing to golf Saturday while frantic Hawaii residents rushed for cover after a false cell phone alarm about an incoming ballistic missile.

The president was on the course at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, after the alert was issued at 1:09 p.m. EST, according to press pool reports. His motorcade didn’t leave the club for Mar-a-Lago until 1:38 p.m.

As of Saturday evening, Trump had not issued any personal statement — or tweet — about the scare. He did tweet about “fake news” and again called journalist Michael Wolff’s book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, a “fake book.” He described Wolff as “mentally deranged.”

I guess he must consider Hawaii to be one of those "shitholes" that are beneath his notice.

Ultimately what we learned yesterday is that this White House is completely incapable of responding to an actual nuclear attack.

Courtesy of Politico:

A false warning of a missile threat in Hawaii sent White House aides scrambling Saturday, frantically phoning agencies to determine a response and triggering worries about their preparedness almost a year into the Trump administration.

President Donald Trump's Cabinet has yet to test formal plans for how to respond to a domestic missile attack, according to a senior administration official. John Kelly, while serving as Secretary of Homeland Security through last July, planned to conduct the exercise. But he left his post to become White House chief of staff before it was conducted, and acting secretary Elaine Duke never carried it out.

The administration ran the exercise on Dec. 19 at the deputies' level, at the behest of Kelly and newly sworn in Homeland Security chief Kirstjen Nielsen. But as of Saturday, when Hawaii residents were taking cover, the federal government had yet to play out the same scenario with Cabinet secretaries at what is known as the principals level.

"The U.S. government hasn't tested these plans in 30 years,” said the senior administration official involved in the White House response. “All the fresh faces sitting around the table in the situation room have little idea what their roles would be in this scenario. The bottom line is that without a principals level exercise we shouldn’t have any confidence that the Cabinet would know what to do in an attack scenario."

Can't say I am surprised by this.

I saw the poor man in charge of these alerts in Hawaii taking responsibility for his mistake, and I think there is a strong possibility he will lose his job over it.

However let's take a moment to remember that the ONLY reason that Hawaii was doing these kinds of drills in the first place is the now very real concern that North Korea might send a missile toward America, and that this fear took hold because of some childish exchanges between Kim Jong Un and the imbecile in the White House.

It took actress Jamie Lee Curtis to say what most of us are probably already thinking.

Yes, exactly!

If Barack Obama had still been in charge, I seriously doubt that the people of Hawaii would have been quite so panicked in response to that alert.

After all they knew an adult was in charge and probably would have thought it was a mistake. Which it was.

But under Donald Trump, NOBODY feels safe.

And we know that not only is a nuclear war more likely, but that our government is completely unprepared for the first missile launches that would likely start one.

Welcome my friends, to Trump's America.

"It was all golf." Man who golfed with Donald Trump puts to rest the lie about "working vacations."

This is by far the least engaged and laziest president we have ever had.

In some ways that might be a good thing, but we should never let the White House lie to us about how little work he is actually doing.

Because we know.

Laziest president EVER!

Courtesy of Guacamole:

While he was on the campaign trail, President Donald Trump never held back from criticizing his predecessor, Barack Obama, for taking vacations during his time in office. In fact, he regularly laid into the former president for the time he spent golfing or going out of town with his family. Once he took office, however, Trump must have realized the presidency is a pretty stressful position.

Every time Trump visits one of his own properties, American taxpayers are essentially putting money into the president's pocket. Though many predictions forecast that Trump's personal costs are on pace to outspend every other President, the amount of money he's spending on vacation shouldn't actually matter. What's most concerning to many is that Trump is using the power of the presidency to enrich himself––something Americans once seemed so wary of that voters demanded Jimmy Carter sell his peanut farm before taking office.

The Trumpsters will claim that these are "working vacations" but every bit of evidence available suggests that this idiot works as little as humanly possible, which ultimately is probably a good thing since one can only imagine how much more he could screw up if he worked harder at it.

Old golf magazine interview reveals Trump's love of the word "p*ssy."

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

In a previously unreported comment to the now-defunct Maximum Golf magazine, Donald Trump singled out a “young socialite” at his club at Mar-a-Lago by telling a reporter, “there is nothing in the world like first-rate pussy.”

The remark never made its way to print, as a top editor of the magazine forbade the reporter from putting it in the publication. But the former journalist who wrote the article, Michael Corcoran, and another editor, both confirmed that it was said by Trump as Corcoran followed him around at his Florida golf club for a profile.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

This interview took place in 2000, which would have meant that Trump was well into his fifties.

When I was an adolescent my pals and I used to refer to girls in such a vulgar fashion, but that did not follow too many of us very far into our adulthood. And certainly not into our forties and fifties.

And yet here is a full grown man, married twice by this time, still referring to women as nothing more than a disembodied sex organ.

Keep in mind that after the Access Hollywood tape came out (Which was recorded in 2005, making Trump even older than in the 2000 interview.) Trump said, "Anyone who knows me, knows these words do not reflect who I am."

Well now the entire country knows Donald Trump.

And yes these words absolutely reflect who he is, even today at 71 years of age.

You know if this guy was not representing America to the world this would almost be funny.

Just a reminder as to how many days this asshole has spent on the golf course since moving into the People's House.
Good job deplorables.

I think I have a new hero.

Courtesy of Newsweek:

Donald Trump's motorcade departing from the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia had an extra add-on Saturday, after the president spent the 96th day of his presidency visiting one of his own properties. That addition came in the form of a female cyclist, who had one goal in mind: to flip off the president of the United States.

Pool reporters first noticed the cyclist trailing the motorcade before she managed to snake her way next to the president’s car just outside of the Trump National Golf Club. "A female bicyclist along the motorcade route, just outside the golf course, traveling in the right lane repeatedly extended her middle left finger towards POTUS," the pool stated.

The president's car was stopped at a traffic light near the golf course, just about to turn left onto the parkway, when the bicyclist successfully gave the president the middle finger.

I think that brave woman speaks for a lot of us.

If I were given such an opportunity I imagine my response would be quite similar.

Essentially fuck this guy, fuck his administration, and fuck his Russian overlord for inflicting him upon the American people.

Donald Trump the Retweeter-in-Chief.

So this morning Trump sent out these original tweets, the second one apparently mocking Kim Jong Un, but he followed them up with a series of retweets.

As you can see Trump really likes tweets that stroke his ego and blow sunshine up his ass.

He also likes tweets which attack his current or former opponents.
Well that's certainly mature.

Keep reminding yourself that this is the Twitter account of the most powerful man on the planet.

Monday, August 07, 2017

Here is the president of your country waddling over to some golf club guests while supposedly "working" for America.

Jesus the man is so unsteady on his feet that he looks like he ready to keel over at any minute.

Now according to Trump he is NOT on a vacation.
Golf cart, golf clothes, walking around pressing the flesh of gold club attendees, certainly looks like a vacation to me.

Which is perfectly fine with me.

As far as I'm concerned the less time this guy spends destroying our country the better for everybody.

Donald Trump refers to the White House as a "real dump."

Courtesy of Esquire:

I mean, seriously. What if Obama said this?

A White House spokesperson issued a statement to Golf.com denying this happened, but it wouldn't matter if an Obama surrogate had, too. The coverage on Fox News would be apocalyptic. There would surely be calls for impeachment. Rush Limbaugh might call for his head. The Wall Street Journal editorial board would produce a tersely-worded op-ed about the shortcomings of liberal patriotism. The New York Post would plaster something unseemly-but-clever across its front page. The right-wing content farms would crank out listicles about Obama's 6 Most Anti-American Moments. All hell would break loose among the House Republican Batty Caucus, and Republican senators would pronounce themselves gravely concerned and disappointed. These are people who flipped out when he saluted a Marine while holding a cup of coffee, or when he put his feet on his own desk in the Oval Office, which the conservative Washington Times screamed "sent shockwaves around the world."

Don't hold your breath waiting for Trump to be held to the same standard, or even a reasonable one. After all, Trump isn't bloviating about how often he gets away from The Dump House: According to The Washington Post's Philip Bump, who has been tracking the president's travel diligently, Trump has visited his own properties, like Bedminster, 57 out of the 193 days he's been in office—once every 3.4 days, or twice a week. He's visited every weekend day in July, except for one Saturday he was stuck on a flight back from Europe. He has visited his course in Virginia 15 times, and he's played golf once every 5.8 days of his presidency.

I have an idea.

If Donald Trump does not appreciate the prestige of living in the People's House he can simply move the fuck out.

We don't want his fat tangerine colored ass in there anyhow.

So Donald Trump has fake Time magazine covers with his face on them all over this golf clubs. Why am I not surprised by this?

Courtesy of WaPo:

The framed copy of Time magazine was hung up in at least five of President Trump’s clubs, from South Florida to Scotland. Filling the entire cover was a photo of Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!” the big headline said. Above the Time nameplate, there was another headline in all caps: “TRUMP IS HITTING ON ALL FRONTS . . . EVEN TV!”

This cover — dated March 1, 2009 — looks like an impressive memento from Trump’s pre-presidential career. To club members eating lunch, or golfers waiting for a pro-shop purchase, it seemed to be a signal that Trump had always been a man who mattered. Even when he was just a reality TV star, Trump was the kind of star who got a cover story in Time.

But that wasn’t true.

The Time cover is a fake.

There was no March 1, 2009, issue of Time magazine. And there was no issue at all in 2009 that had Trump on the cover.

In fact, the cover on display at Trump’s clubs, observed recently by a reporter visiting one of the properties, contains several small but telling mistakes. Its red border is skinnier than that of a genuine Time cover, and, unlike the real thing, there is no thin white border next to the red. The Trump cover’s secondary headlines are stacked on the right side — on a real Time cover, they would go across the top.

And it has two exclamation points. Time headlines don’t yell.

Yeah only Donald Trump gets two exclamation points worth of excited about Donald Trump.

Time Magazine is now demanding that Trump have the phony covers removed, while everybody associated with the clubs or the Administration acts like they have no idea how such a thing ever happened:

The Trump Organization did not respond to questions this week about who made the cover and why it was displayed at Trump clubs. White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders declined to say whether Trump had known that the cover wasn’t real.

“We couldn’t comment on the decor at Trump Golf clubs one way or another,” Sanders wrote in an email.

Yeah, who's in charge of the decor at Trump's golf course anyway?

Surely THAT is the person who the press should be focusing on.

Unless they are assuming that Donald Trump is such an insufferable megalomaniac that he ordered the fake covers made up just to give the impression that he was more important than he actually was in reality.

That would mean he was somehow unhinged.

And NOBODY is saying that, right?

Right?

P.S. By the way.
And NONE of those is a phony.

As suspected Donald Trump is using the presidency to gain more wealth.

Yesterday Trump's 2017 financial disclosure was released.

I started to read through it in order to write an in depth analysis, before realizing that I don't know shit about finances and going to the movies instead.

However there are others who did not sleep through their economics classes, and THEY have made some discoveries.

For instance The Atlantic discovered that Trump is using his office to make his properties more profitable:

President Trump says he’s received tens of millions of dollars in income from the golf courses and resorts whose profile he boosted during frequent visits since taking office, according to filings released Friday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

The 98 pages of financial disclosures offer a partial snapshot of Trump’s income and assets from January 2016 to April this year, as well as indications he’s reaped at least a partial windfall since his most recent filing with the Federal Election Commission last year. The filings offer less detailed information about his precise financial situation than would be obtained from his tax returns. Trump broke with modern precedents by refusing to release those returns on the campaign trail or during his presidency.

Properties that Trump frequently visited as president saw the largest boost in income. Trump claimed more than $37 million in income from Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach County resort in Florida he described as his “Winter White House,” as well as $20 million in income from the nearby golf club he owns in Jupiter, Florida. His claimed Mar-a-Lago income rose rapidly since his last two financial disclosures with the FEC: Trump reported more than $15 million in income from the resort in the 2015 report, followed by $29 million in the 2016 version.

So apparently while we were all criticizing Trump for constantly visiting golf clubs and resorts instead of working, he was in fact using his office to draw attention to them and make them more profitable.

Which, in my opinion, is actually much worse.

Here is a president who may be slow to respond to national disasters because he is too busy doing free advertising for one of his many commercial properties.

However the report is not all good news for Trump's finances, because we also learned that he owes hundreds of millions of dollars and may not be nearly as wealthy as he claims.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

President Donald Trump had personal liabilities of at least $315.6 million to German, U.S. and other lenders as of mid-2017, according to a federal financial disclosure form released late on Friday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

Trump reported income of at least $594 million for 2016 and early 2017 and assets worth at least $1.4 billion.

Only 1.4 billion in assets huh?

Now I'm sure that Trump would dispute this and claim that it only shows a portion of his "vast wealth," but until we see his tax returns this is really all we have to go on.

And having over 300 million in liabilities certainly does not speak well of his money management skills either.

Using the White House to make money, while lying about his wealth, and owing creditors over 300 millions dollars.

THAT is who the Russians, and of course deplorables, thought should run this country.

Yeah, that impeachment thing really cannot happen soon enough in my opinion.

The Resistance lives!

Trump better just learn to live with this, because this is his life now.

Sunday, May 07, 2017

So apparently Russia also finances Trump's golf courses.

This is from a conversation that author James Dodson had with Donald Trump, and his son Eric, three years ago:

When the big day arrived, a dark, gray sky provided the first sign that all would not go as planned. Dodson was a little late arriving, and by the time he entered the Trump National Charlotte clubhouse, his host was already holding forth.

"Trump was strutting up and down, talking to his new members about how they were part of the greatest club in North Carolina," Dodson says. "And when I first met him, I asked him how he was — you know, this is the journalist in me — I said, 'What are you using to pay for these courses?' And he just sort of tossed off that he had access to $100 million."

$100 million.

"So when I got in the cart with Eric," Dodson says, "as we were setting off, I said, 'Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks — because of the recession, the Great Recession — have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years.' And this is what he said. He said, 'Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.' I said, 'Really?' And he said, 'Oh, yeah. We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.' Now that was three years ago, so it was pretty interesting."

So not only have Russians invested heavily in Trump Tower, and bought a mansion for 55 million more than Trump paid for it, but now they are also the money behind his string of golf courses?

I swear every day we learn that Trump has more and more ties with the Russians.

How much more evidence do we really need that he was compromised?

Donald Trump has historical marker on his golf course commemorating a Civil War battle which never happened.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

“Many great American soldiers, both of the North and South, died at this spot,” reads the inscription a faux historical marker on the course of the Trump National Golf Club, according to the New York Times. “The casualties were so great that the water would turn red and thus became known as ‘The River of Blood.’ ”

The battle never happened. “No. Uh-uh. No way,” Richard Gillespie, the executive director of the Mosby Heritage Area Association told the New York Times. “Nothing like that ever happened there.”

When Trump was informed by the New York Times that three different local historians had said as much, Trump replied, “How would they know that? Were they there?

Well, I think this helps to explain why Donald Trump believed that a slave owning ex-president who had been dead for sixteen years could have stopped the Civil War

So much stupid.

Just a reminder that this weekend Donald Trump went golfing for the fifteenth time in eleven weeks.

Trump battles his most dangerous foe. Gravity.
Courtesy of The Independent:

Donald Trump is taking his 15th golf trip in the 11 weeks since becoming President, as he spends another weekend at one of his own luxury resorts.

The President is coming off the back of a high-stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who has closed a sixth of his country's golf courses since 2011 and will not play a sport which maintains a reputation for decadence and corruption in China.

But President Xi left the President's luxury Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday night, and by Saturday morning Mr Trump was on the links at his International Golf Club in Florida, the White House press pool was informed.

Remember this was directly AFTER Trump okayed the attack on Syria.

Not sitting in a war room assessing the success of the attack, or planning a strategy for after the missile attack, no just out golfing like some over fed company CEO.

By the way so far Trump has visited one of his properties on average about once every 2.8 days.

Yeah like I said, don't let this bullshit "attack" on Syria fool you. This is still the least involved most incompetent president we have ever seen in the White House.

Monday, March 27, 2017

Remember this?

I think you already know the punchline to this joke.

Courtesy of CNN:

President Donald Trump headed to one of his golf courses again Sunday, marking his 13th visit to one since taking office and the eighth consecutive weekend he has spent at properties bearing his name.

While the President hasn't played golf on every visit, sometimes attending to presidential business, the trips underscore a break with his insistence on the campaign trail that he wouldn't spend his time golfing because of how hard he would be working.

Yep the guy who said he would be too busy to do any more golfing, has spent more time at golf resorts than any other president before him.

Personally I have to say that I prefer Trump out golfing instead of sitting in the Oval Office sabotaging the country.

Sunday, March 12, 2017

Just a reminder that Donald Trump went golfing this weekend for the 9th time in the 7 weeks he has been in office.

Hey remember how the conservatives lost their shit every time it was reported that President Obama went golfing?

And didn't Trump himself attack Obama on that same issue?
Why yes he did.

Hello Donald? Hypocrisy is holding on line one for you.
