DC Charter School Board senior manager suspended for being a gun toting white supremacist who promotes raping feminists.

Until today, John Goldman was a Senior Manager of Finance, Analysis and Strategy for the Washington, DC Public Charter School Board. But today Goldman was suspended pending investigation after photos surfaced of him at parties with known neonazis and white supremacists as the pseudonymous "Jack Murphy," self-proclaimed liberal-turned-conservative in the age of Trump. 

"Murphy," it seems, was a foe of Richard Spencer. Still it appears they share some fundamental beliefs, though Murphy/Goldman claims he was a Democrat who now has a man-crush on Trump. Apparently former Democrats can be white supremacist men's rights advocates too! 

John Goldman has now admitted that his online alter ego is "Jack Murphy," but remains unapologetic about his stated beliefs and why he holds them.

By the way here are some of this stated beliefs:  

"Men have a natural tendency towards dominance and women to passivity and submission," Murphy wrote in 2015. "For a feminist who has rejected polarity and embraced sameness, this presents a paradox. The cognitive dissonance between her chosen dogma and the urge to get choked during sex is painful."

This is the argument for his central premise, which is simple: "Rape is the best therapy for the problem. Feminists need rape." 

But he is quick to qualify this by claiming that all feminists need is a man who loves her to rape her but not in a totally evil "illegal alien" rapey way, but a loving rape. Consensual, even.

"Loving, consensual rape" is a new one on me.

But wait, there's more: 

"However, the tragedy of a young girl getting raped in the bathroom at school just might be what turns the attention of limousine liberals from the brainwashing narrative of the Democrats and towards a more sane approach to immigration," "Murphy" wrote in a Medium post last year. 

"Let’s just hope it will only take one, and not an epidemic of heinous crime to finally get those suburban soccer moms out of their denial and into the real world," he continued.

Yeah, anybody else picking up on a rapey theme here?

LA police department launches investigation into sexual assault charges against Steven Seagal.

The Los Angeles Police Department has launched a sexual assault investigation against actor Steven Seagal, who in recent weeks has faced several allegations of sexual misconduct including rape, according to multiple reports. 

A spokesperson for the LAPD told CBS News that the incident allegedly occurred in 2005. No other details of the case have been made public. 

Several women, including actresses Portia de Rossi, Julianna Margulies and Rae Dawn Chong, have recently accused Seagal of sexual harassment. In a November tweet, de Rossi claimed Seagal “unzipped his leather pants” during an audition in the actor’s office. Margulies said Seagal had attempted to sexually harass her in his apartment when she was 23, and Chong accused Seagal of once showing her “his junk” in his hotel room and leaving her multiple “sex messages” on her machine. 

A woman named Regina Simons, who worked as an extra on the 1994 film “On Deadly Ground,” which starred Seagal, told The Wrap this month that the actor raped her at his home.

All in all more than a dozen women have accused Seagal of sexual misconduct.

Now this is important. not so much because Seagal is a Hollywood star (He isn't.), but because of who he is now associated with politically.

In recent years Seagal has become besties with Vladimir Putin (He was even awarded Russian citizenship.) and has gone out of his way to defend him a number of times, including most recently against charges that he interfered in our election:

Seagal defended Russia by responding that “every country is involved in espionage,” and denied that Putin had “anything to do with fixing” the U.S. election – all while pronouncing Putin’s name with a hardcore Russian accent. 

The actor concluded that the belief that Russia interfered with the U.S. election is the result of “astronomical propaganda,” and meant as some sort of “diversion.”

Seagal is also, of course, a Trump supporter, and has been a friend for years.

He has even been photographed hanging out with other Russian agents.

So yes this case will prove very interesting to watch for a number of reasons.

Women who have publicly accused President Trump of sexual misconduct will call for Congress to investigate the allegations at a press conference on Monday. 

The women will unite for the first time to demand the probe and share details of their allegations against Trump, according to a press release. 

The conference is being hosted by Brave New Films, a film and campaigns organization that works for progressive causes. It released a film about the allegations against Trump in November. 

More than a dozen women came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Trump during his presidential campaign. 

Trump has denied the reports, and the White House has said its official position is that the women are lying.

Ah. the old "the bitches are lying" excuse.

That is such pre-2017 thinking right there.

You know typically I might say that I would like to be a fly on the wall in the White House right now, but I am not sure that my little insect ears could handle all of the screaming and destruction of furniture that is probably going on at this moment. 

The most common victim of sexual assault in Alaska is a 14 year old girl.

Alaska's sex crime victims mainly are young — just children, really. They most often are targeted in someone's home. And they usually know their attacker. 

A new state report provides a detailed and disturbing snapshot of serious sex crimes in Alaska. It's the second year the state Department of Public Safety has produced an analysis of felony sex offenses, an effort that took many more years to bring together, according to Walt Monegan, public safety commissioner. 

Reports of felony sex offenses – which include rape, sex abuse of children, child pornography and sex with incapacitated individuals — rose 14 percent from 2015 to 2016, the new document says. The data is based on initial reports to law enforcement.

Here were the other findings of the report:

- More than half of the victims – 54 percent – are Alaska Native, far bigger than the overall 20 percent share of the population that is Alaska Native. 

 — Alaska Native girls and women are the most at risk of being sexually assaulted or abused in almost every part of Alaska. Only in Southcentral with Anchorage excluded – an area that includes the Kenai Peninsula and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough — are white people the most often victimized. 

— The problem of sex assault and abuse is magnified in Western Alaska, including the Aleutian Islands, Bethel, Kotzebue, Nome, Dillingham and surrounding villages. The rate of sexual offenses in that region is 446 incidents per 100,000 people compared to 262 per 100,000 in Anchorage and 66 in Southcentral, the report said. 

 — While the most common victim is a 14-year-old girl, the most common suspect is a 19-year-old male. But in the cases of the youngest victims, from infants up to 10-year-olds, suspects are young too, most often just 14 years old, the report said. For victims age 18 on up, the suspects are older too, most commonly 31. 

— When the victim is male, it's most often a young boy just 5 years old, the report said. 

— Some 47 percent of suspects are Alaska Native. About one-third are white. Some 97 percent are male. Suspects and victims tend to be the same race, except for black suspects, whose victims most often are white, the analysis found. 

— Almost all the victims and suspects knew each other. Just 4 percent of the attackers were strangers, and for the youngest children, only 1 percent were targeted by someone unknown, the analysis found. Most suspects were acquaintances. Some were relatives. A few were boyfriends or girlfriends. In five instances, the suspect was the baby sitter. 

— Almost three-quarters of reported sex offenses happened in a residence, the report said. Others occurred on tribal lands and in woods, in motels or at school and college, in bars and alleys, jails and parks. One was reported in a grocery store and one in a church. 

 — Some 15 percent of sex offenses involved weapons, mainly fists and feet. Guns and knives were reported in just seven incidents.

Alaska is a beautiful place to live by almost any standard, but we have a deep vein of ugliness that runs through our state, and sadly it just seems to get uglier all of the time.

Politicians promise to do something, but nothing ever seems to change.

When we elected our first female governor I allowed myself to imagine that things like sexual abuse and pedophilia would surely be one of her foremost concerns, after all wouldn't a woman be far more sensitive to those victims than a man?

But sadly she actually may have done the very least to address this problem, and it's a problem that seems to have no end in sight.

I have to say that I love the fact that Trump and his idiot son are allowing all of us to once again bring up that Access Hollywood tape and all of the allegations against him, which include those underage rape allegations.

I actually have no doubt that Trump knew all about Weintsein's behaviors.

There is probably a club that powerful sexual predators belong to where they can swap war stories about their narrow escapes and wax philosophical about their numerous victims. 

People are literally dying to get out of Alaska.

We have been a leader in this unfortunate category for as long as I can remember.

I personally have never had any suicidal thoughts and remain untouched by SAD, or any other  depression causing maladies.

In fact I am typically a little too chipper, which often irritates those around me.

I DID once briefly work on a suicide hotline, but I was unable to empathize with their situation and kept wanting to say "Get over it slugger, tomorrow will be better day," which was not one of the sanctioned responses we were supposed to provide.

Simply put, I just don't get it. 

Of course suicide is not the only unfortunate circumstance where Alaska leads the nation, we also have three times the number of rapes per capita than the national average, and we are in the top ten states with the highest homicide rate per capita.

When people say they want to move to Alaska I always say "Are you positive?"

This place is gorgeous and awe inspiring to be sure, but it is also often harsh and unforgiving. So if you are not a fairly tough person, with a positive outlook, you are undoubtedly about to become a statistic.

And not one of the good ones.

At 11:44 p.m. EST Thursday evening, Trump clicked the “heart” on a tweet from a user who calls themselves Alexander Hamilton. The tweet, accused the president of rape and conducting orgies using the models at his former agency, Trump Model Management.

The favorite was quickly undone and no other activity took place on the Trump account. Over the past several months, the Trump Twitter account has been blocking many of those who have been critical of him. It was never clear if Trump was doing that himself or delegated it to a staffer.

So what do we think, simple accidental slip of the finger or temporary impulse to admit guilt?

My name is Jonathann Launer. I am an award winning filmmaker in Los Angeles. In February 2016, I was hired to film an interview with Katie Johnson, who apparently had some Donald Trump story to tell. I drove to San Diego, and met Ms. Johnson. She was there with Al Taylor. She began the story, and she accused Mr. Trump of rape, and was very detailed in her allegations. 

Now just to be very clear, I have no personal agenda, no beef with Mr. Trump, and no political affiliations whatsoever. I was simply there as a hired gun to do what I do. Film. As the interview went on, she gave more and more graphic detail about the alleged rape. I could tell she was very upset and genuinely disturbed. She was shaking and had to compose herself several times during the interview. 

I am not an expert in psychology, and don't claim to diagnose her mental state, but I DO know acting when I see it. I do not believe she was acting. I believed she was telling the truth as she saw it. Now, I'm not accusing Mr. Trump of anything, as I was not there. But what I saw in Ms. Johnson's interview was very convincing. I have no stake in this whatsoever, and have nothing to gain. I have no ownership in the footage. Like I said, I was just hired to do a job.

To be fair this is an allegation, nothing has been proven yet, however there is also a lawsuit working its way through the court system.

Since there is all this speculation about whether Hillary Clinton is a criminal or not, I thought it was more than fair to remind everybody that Trump might end up in court defending himself against charges that he actually raped an underage girl and robbed her of her virginity.

Somehow I think that trumps any talk of the careless handling of emails.

And just for context here is a comprehensive list of all of the women that  are accusing Trump of sexually harassing or assaulting them.

Trump economic adviser says that Donald Trump is the victim of these sexual allegations against him, and that the media is "man shaming." Just when you thought you had heard everything.

The 11 sexual assault allegations that have emerged against Donald Trump this month? According to Trump economic advisor Betsy McCaughey, they’re just part of a “man-shaming” campaign orchestrated by the Hillary Clinton campaign. 

McCaughey, the former Lieutenant Governor of New York (R) under Gov. George Pataki, made that case during a Wednesday appearance on CNN Tonight. She did so in response to host Don Lemon asking her about Newt Gingrich’s smear of Megyn Kelly as being “fascinated with sex” — a charge Gingrich made after Kelly brought up the Trump assault allegations during a Fox News interview earlier this week. 

“I do believe that the polls show that Americans are not buying this roll out of accusers, and this bigger theme of man-shaming, and they want to get to the real issues,” McCaughey said, going on to cite a new Fox News poll that shows Trump ahead among independent voters — a group, she pointed out, that includes women.

I quite literally have NO idea how somebody says something like this with a straight face.

I have an image of this woman standing in front of her bathroom mirror for hours trying to say "man shaming" without cracking up or banging her head on the porcelain sink in frustration.

The idea that a serial sexual harasser and abuser like Donald Trump is the victim of ANYTHING except his own ego and sense of entitlement is laughable on its face.

And the fact that this woman can take his side against his female accusers reminds me that there are self loathing sellouts among both genders and all ethnicities.

One has to wonder if this McCaughey woman is able to feel sorry for poor Doanld Trump after reading the testimony from the former thirteen year old girl, Katie Johnson, who is accusing him of raping her?

Here is just a portion of her testimony (Trigger warning, this is a little graphic.): 

‘Defendant Trump initiated sexual contact with Plaintiff at four different parties. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied Plaintiff to a bed, exposed himself to Plaintiff, and then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff. During the course of this savage sexual attack, Plaintiff loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but with no effect. Defendant Trump responded to Plaintiff’s pleas by violently striking Plaintiff in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.’

There is also testimony from a "Tiffany Doe" the woman who claims to have brought Katie Johnson to the party where she was raped by Donald Trump: 

‘I persuaded the plaintiff to attend a series of parties of Mr. Epstein that took place during the summer of 1994. I told her that, if she would join me at the parties, she would be introduced to people who could get her into the modeling profession and she would be paid for attending.’

‘It was at these series of parties that I personally witnessed the Plaintiff being forced to perform various sexual acts with Donald J. Trump and Mr. Epstein. Both Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein were advised that she was 13 years old. I personally witnessed four sexual encounters that the Plaintiff was forced to have with Mr. Trump during this period, including the fourth of these encounters, where Mr. Trump forcibly raped her despite her please to stop.’

"I told her that, if she would join me at the parties, she would be introduced to people who could get her into the modeling profession." This of course lines up perfectly with the folks interviewed by the Daily Beast who claimed that Trump held cocaine and sex parties featuring underage girls who were lured there with promises of modeling careers.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot. This is just more "man shaming" and we should all be ashamed of ourselves for taking the side of all of these women and putting the blame on poor defenseless Donald Trump.

Give me a fucking break.

Lawsuit claiming Donald Trump raped a thirteen year old girl moves forward.

A federal judge has ordered a status conference hearing after a woman filed a lawsuit claiming Donald Trump raped her when she was 13-years-old in 1994. 

In the lawsuit a witness, identified by the pseudonym Tiffany Doe, alleges she saw Mr Trump and billionaire-paedophile Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly rape the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe. 

The complaint claims Epstein hired an unidentified woman to pick up teenage girls to bring to his parties. 

The plaintiff's third attempt in filing the lawsuit features a new witness named Joan Doe. 

Mr Trump has repeatedly denied the allegations. 

You know I have said before that there is a long history of famous men being unfairly accused of rape. And usually I might be willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt.

However there has now been established a history of behaviors on Trump's part that lend credibility to essentially any charge made against him.

So do I think that Donald Trump is the type of man to rape a thirteen year old girl?

I don't know, you tell me.

One by one, they poured out Friday, thousands of stories of sexual abuse posted to social media — a conversation that was ignited after news broke of a leaked video showing Donald Trump bragging about having his way with women. 

Starting Friday afternoon, thousands of people shared personal stories on social media of being sexually assaulted, many using the hashtag #NotOkay. For many hours, #NotOkay was a trending topic on Twitter in the United States. A day later, the hashtag continued going strong. 

The outpouring seems to have started after several prominent Twitter users posted about the potential consequences of brushing off Trump's comments. Doing so, they said, would normalize and enable "rape culture." And, they argued, this kind of behavior was more commonplace than some might think. 

"If you don't think this will affect female [voter] turn out and crossover, perhaps you should ask a woman to recount all the times she was groped," tweeted Clara Jeffrey, editor-in-chief of Mother Jones.

One such woman is actress Amber Tamblyn, who is married to actor David Cross and had a very powerful response to Trump's language in that tape, for reasons that will become abundantly clear when you read her statement: 

I need to tell you a story. With the love and support of my husband, I’ve decided to share it publicly. 

A very long time ago I ended a long emotionally and physically abusive relationship with a man I had been with for some time. One night I was at a show with a couple girlfriends in Hollywood, listening to a DJ we all loved. I knew there was a chance my ex could show up, but I felt protected with my girls around me. Without going into all the of the details, I will tell you that my ex did show up, and came up to me in the crowd. He’s a big guy, taller than me. The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my pussy?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club. His fingers were practically inside of me, his other hand wrapped tightly around my hair. I screamed and kicked and cried. He carried me this way, suspended by his hands, all the way across the room, pushing past people until he got to the front door. My friends ran after him, trying to stop him. We got to the front door and I thank God his brothers were also there and intervened. In the scuffle he grabbed at my clothes, trying to hold onto me, screaming at me, and inadvertently ripped off my grandmother’s necklace, which I was wearing. The rest of this night is a blur I do not remember. How I got out to the car. How I got away from him that night. I never returned for my necklace either. 

That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend’s violence for at least the next week. I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn’t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space. 

To this day I remember that moment. I remember the shame. I am afraid my mom will read this post. I’m even more afraid that my father could ever know this story. That it would break his heart. I couldn’t take that. But you understand, don’t you? I needed to tell a story.

Sometimes even the darkest clouds have a silver lining, and if the only thing positive that comes out of these disgusting stories we are hearing about Donald Trump is that women start sharing stories of their own abuse, and find that not only are they not alone but that there are thousands of them, perhaps that will help demystify the problem and give these women a feeling of support.

It might also help to strengthen law protecting employees in the workplace against this kind of situation, because it does not matter if you are powerful, or a star, you cannot "get away with anything."

CNN host Erin Burnett shocks Trump surrogate with story of time the presidential candidate tried to force himself on her friend. Update!

A friend whom CNN anchor Erin Burnett has known for years recounted an experience she had with Trump in 2010 that echoes his words in the tape that surfaced Friday. 

In March 2010, the woman -- who asked not to be identified -- met Trump in a boardroom in Trump Tower. 

Another man -- a colleague of Burnett's friend -- was in the boardroom at the time of the incident. 

The woman told Burnett: "Trump took Tic Tacs, suggested I take them also. He then leaned in, catching me off guard, and kissed me almost on lips. I was really freaked out. ... After (the meeting), Trump asked me to come into his office alone. Was really unsure what to do. ... Figured I could handle myself. Anyway, once in his office he kept telling me how special I am and gave me his cell, asked me to call him. I ran the hell out of there."

I am probably a horrible person but I really enjoy that deer in the headlights look on the Trump surrogates face as she realizes what is happening.

Of course at this point I am so disgusted with Trump that I simply write off any woman that would still attempt to defend him as a self loathing POS.

However the important takeaway from this interview is the knowledge that the tape we all saw yesterday is likely just the tip of the iceberg.

As was mentioned a number of times on various cable news shows yesterday Trump has been on a number of shows, including Miss USA and the Apprentice, so there is likely quite a lot of audio that will come out featuring behaviors and language similar to what we heard on that video.

What's more it lends credibility to every negative story we have heard about Trump's treatment of women, including the story that he fired female employees for not being pretty enough, the rape allegations, the human trafficking story concerning his modeling agency, and of course this woman's story: 

In an hour-long interview at the Guardian’s New York office on Tuesday, Harth said she stands by her charges against Trump, which run from low-grade sexual harassment to an episode her lawyers described in the lawsuit as “attempted ‘rape’”. 

She first met Trump in December 1992 at his offices in Trump Tower, where she and her then romantic partner, George Houraney, were making a business presentation. The couple wanted to recruit Trump to back their American Dream festival, in which Harth oversaw a pin-up competition known as American Dream Calendar Girls. Harth described that meeting as “the highlight of our career”. 

But in other ways, it was something of a lowlight: Trump took an interest in Harth immediately and began subjecting her to a steady string of unwanted sexual advances, detailed by Harth in her complaint. 

There was the initial leering in that first December meeting in Trump Tower, and the inappropriate questions after her relationship status. It continued the next night over dinner at the Plaza Hotel’s Oak Room, where at a dinner with beauty pageant contestants she alleges he groped her under the table.

This all culminated at Mar-a-Lago where:  

“He pushed me up against the wall, and had his hands all over me and tried to get up my dress again,” Harth said, “and I had to physically say: ‘What are you doing? Stop it.’ It was a shocking thing to have him do this because he knew I was with George, he knew they were in the next room. And how could he be doing this when I’m there for business?”

Remember when you are a "star" women even let you "grab them by the pu**y."  Unless of course they don't.

This was back in 1993, the rape allegations are from 1994, and the lewd tape was from 2005, but there is absolutely NO evidence that Donald Trump has changed in anyway.

This is who he is, this is what he is, and this is who now represents the Republican party in the 2016 presidential election.

And if the GOP does not realize that more is coming they are seriously deluding themselves.

Update: It looks like Mike Pence has suddenly dropped out of that Wisconsin campaign event with Paul Ryan today.

Despite being cleared by DNA evidence Donald Trump still says the Central Park Five are guilty.

Wading into a racially-charged case from his past, Donald Trump indicated that the "Central Park Five" were guilty, despite being officially exonerated by DNA evidence decades after a notorious 1989 rape case. 

"They admitted they were guilty," Trump said to CNN in a statement. 

"The police doing the original investigation say they were guilty. The fact that that case was settled with so much evidence against them is outrageous. And the woman, so badly injured, will never be the same." 

The five men were convicted as teenagers after implicating each other under intense questioning over a brutal sexual assault on a jogger that dominated the tabloids. Defenders said they were coerced into confessing and all five were later cleared by DNA evidence and a separate confession in 2002 from another criminal who took credit for the assault. 

New York paid them $41 million in a settlement in 2014 over their ordeal. 

 At the time Trump took out this ad in the New York Times.

Trump’s ads declared in bold letters.Trump appealed to then-Mayor Ed Koch for a city without “the constant chant of ‘police brutality.’” He wanted death for anyone who looked, acted or sounded like the Central Park Five. 

“They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes,” he wrote. “I want to hate these murderers and I always will … I no longer want to understand their anger. I want them to be afraid.”

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that Donald Trump's African American outreach is not going to well.

Good news over a thousand women who have been raped in Alaska, somebody might actually start to investigate your case now.

The state of Alaska is getting a $1.1 million federal grant to test backlogged sexual assault evidence in possession of state troopers. 

Gov. Bill Walker's office announced Tuesday the U.S. Justice Department funds will be used to process more than 1,000 sexual assault kits. 

Officials say that altogether law enforcement agencies across the state are in possession of about 3,000 unprocessed kits. Amanda Price, Walker's senior crime policy advisor, says the Anchorage Police Department is among those exploring options on processing their backlogs of sexual assault kits. 

Officials say the trooper kits will be transferred to the state crime lab for processing.

I've heard of justice moving slowly, but seriously WTF?

Actually I know what the fuck because I asked about this several years ago.

What I heard then was that the state simply did not have the resources to process the unusually high number of rape kits that come in seemingly every month. Because of that the chances of a woman's rapist being prosecuted in Alaska was incredibly low unless they actually killed her or there were numerous witnesses.

Some of these 3,000 unprocessed rape kits date back as far as 1984, which means that some women who were victimized have lived with the repercussions for thirty years without seeing justice done, or even seeing an attempt to locate their attacker.

And since many of these women live in villages that means that they could literally be living next door or even in the same house as their rapist knowing that they remain untouched by the law and free to prey on them again anytime they see fit.

So for any of you who wonder why so many women do not report rape in Alaska, I think you now have your answer.

A New Jersey Republican ended his campaign for local office Tuesday following reports that he called online for the rape of a Washington-based reporter for news and opinion website The Daily Beast. 

Mike Krawitz, who was running for the township council in West Deptford, sent a handwritten resignation note to the party Tuesday saying he was dropping out. 

I LOVE this dipshit's excuse.   

On Monday, Krawitz told The Philadelphia Inquirer that his account was hacked and that he didn't make the comment on journalist Olivia Nuzzi's Facebook account. 

That's right he claims he was hacked, which is apparently the go to douchebag answer when you get called out for being a douchebag.

But Nuzzi, a New Jersey native, said she has been harassed on social media by Krawitz since December 2015. Krawitz's recent comment said: "I. Hope. Somebody. Rapes. You. Today. :)." 

Krawitz's account also posted a comment that said: "Hope. You. Get. Raped. By. A. Syrian. Refugee. :)." 

Bob Waller, chairman of the West Deptford Republican Committee, said in a statement before Krawitz stepped down that there is "no reasonable reason" to believe Krawitz was hacked. He had called on Krawitz step down.

Damn don't you wish that ALL of the GOP misogynists would blow their stupidity load early on Twitter so that the party could cull them from the herd before election day?

Now if only the national Republican party would have demonstrated that much integrity in response to Donald Trump's tweets.

Here is how one online publication responded to orders from Trump attorneys to redact a story about Melania Trump being a sex worker.

Just so we’re being completely transparent here, you should know this: 

This is being written under duress because I don’t have enough money to fight a legal battle against the Trump machine. Yesterday, I wrote a story based on Melania Trump allegedly having been an escort or paid sex worker when she arrived in New York. A few hours later, the owner of Liberal America received an email threatening us with legal action if we didn’t do as the Trump attorneys instructed — remove the “false statements.” So this is my apology. 

First of all, I’m very very sorry that I wrote an article about the past of Melania Trump. I got my information from reputable sources and reported on what was being reported there, but apparently that isn’t good enough to pass muster in the version of American freedom of the press envisioned by Mr. Trump and his team of legal vultures. 

Additionally, I’m also sorry that the personal image of the wannabe first lady is so insecure that she feels the need to send her legal hell-hounds chasing after small, independent journalists such as me. I had no idea I was such a threat to the Trump campaign or family. Imagine my surprise.

The author goes to report on a number of other things he is sorry about , most of the tongue in cheek, before getting to the actual "apology":  

Specifically, based on the email from the Beverly Hills law firm being used by the Trumps for this harassment, I was ordered to remove specific statements from the article I wrote, the exact information that is on the website of my source, The Daily Mail: 

1. “Melania Trump Was A Sex Worker After Moving To United States” 
2. “Melania Trump, the current wife of the GOP nominee for the White House, worked as an escort shortly after she first moved to the United States and was a favorite of rich men such as her current husband.” 
3. “On the one hand, they [the girls] pretended to be models, but they principally earned money as elite escorts. They even had two composite cards (presentation cards held by each model) — with two photos and basic information such as measurements, eye and hair color, and agency details.” 
4. “The second card…listed whether or not the woman liked older men and what her sexual skills in the bedroom were.” 
5. “The modeling agency Melania signed with after arriving in New York was owned by Paolo Zampolli, who allegedly used the agency as a front for an escort service.” 

According to the Trump attorneys, those statements are lies and this is the truth: 

The true facts are as follows: Mrs. Trump never worked as an escort or sex worker, nor did she ever have a composite or presentation card for the sex business. Mrs. Trump had a single composite card – for modeling. Paolo Zampolli, Mrs. Trump’s former modeling agent, has vehemently and publicly denied allegations that he operated a sex business.

Well there you go then, that's all straightened out. 

As you may have noticed I never jumped onto the whole "Melania Trump was a sex worker" bandwagon.

To be honest I felt it was a little poorly sourced, and was waiting for more confirmation.

However I DID write several posts about allegations that Trump raped a 12 year old girl. (You can one of them here, and another one here.)

Oddly enough neither I nor the publications I linked to received any order from Trump's attorneys to cease and desist or retract our posts.

So really the only thing that one can surmise by these events is that Melania Trump has NEVER been a sex worker, but Donald Trump did indeed rape a 12 year old girl and sexually harass several other women.

Well, I'm glad we have THAT cleared up.

So a third woman has come forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexual harassment. I think we need to start paying attention to this.

On Wednesday, in the midst of the Republican National Convention, new allegations emerged of sexual assault committed by Donald Trump. This is the third woman who has accused the GOP presidential nominee of sexual assault. 

The latest allegations of unwanted sexual contact by Trump come from Jill Harth, a makeup artist and business associate of the billionaire in the early 1990s. According to Harth, Trump sexually harassed her on numerous occasions, including cornering her in his daughter Ivanka’s bedroom and attempting to have sex with her. In 1997, Harth filed a lawsuit detailing Trump’s alleged repeated efforts to force her to have sex with him, as well as a number of other outrageous and inappropriate behaviors. 

Harth, who gave an interview to the Guardian earlier this week, says she first met Trump back in 1992, when she and her business partner and then boyfriend George Houraney were trying to recruit Trump as a partner in their beauty pageant event. The New York Times cites a 1996 deposition in which Harth describes their first meeting with Trump, when Houraney gave a business presentation to woo Trump into becoming a financial backer of the project. According to Harth, that marked the first of Trump’s many unwanted sexual advances. 

'Donald Trump stared at me throughout that meeting. He stared at me even while George was giving his presentation…In the middle of it he says to George, “Are you sleeping with her?” Meaning me. And George looked a little shocked and he said, “Well, yeah.” And he goes, “Well, for the weekend or what?”'

In Harth’s complaint, she says that at a dinner meeting at the Plaza Hotel the following night, Trump groped her under the table repeatedly, violating her “‘physical and mental integrity’ by attempting to touch [her] private parts.” The suit goes on to state that Trump introduced Harth to Plaza Hotel staff as his “new girlfriend” and, after a series of lewd comments about women, blurted out to Houraney, “You know, there’s going to be a problem. I’m very attracted to your girlfriend.”

According to this woman, Jill Harth, Trump refused to take "go to hell" for an answer and kept right on  sexually harassing her, including one incident inside of Ivanka's bedroom.

Eeeew!

The Raw Story article goes on to point out that Trump is already being accused of raping a 13 year old girl, and then of course there is that story about Ivana.

Look, as I have said before, often times powerful people are unjustly accused of doing terrible things, for all kinds of reasons, mostly money.

However there is a pattern here concerning how Trump treats women which certainly suggests that he thinks they are only good for a couple of things, and being equal to men is certainly not one of them.

In that light the idea that the thinks he can have his way with them, despite their protestations to the contrary does not seem that far fetched.

Yeah, like I said I think we all need to start paying attention to these stories.

Sure I think it's safe to assume that Trump was joking, but WHY would he make such an inflammatory joke in front of an audience of paint chip eaters who are more than ready to overreact to every conspiracy theory that tumbles out of his tangerine colored maw?

In other Trump news of the weird it appears that the Donald likes to listen to the private phone conversations of his employees.

At Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach resort he runs as a club for paying guests and celebrities, Donald Trump had a telephone console installed in his bedroom that acted like a switchboard, connecting to every phone extension on the estate, according to six former workers. Several of them said he used that console to eavesdrop on calls involving staff.

Oh yeah, this is one of those times that you hear a rumor about somebody and just KNOW that it's true.

I have absolutely NO problem accepting that Trump spied on his employees and listened to their phone calls.

Speaking of stories that one should take seriously, the same applies to those rape charges recently filed against Trump: 

No outsider can say whether Mr. Trump is innocent or guilty of these new rape charges. But we can look at his record, analyze the court filings here, and make a determination as to credibility - whether the allegations are believable enough for us to take them seriously and investigate them, keeping in mind his denial and reporting new facts as they develop. 

I have done that. And the answer is a clear “yes.” These allegations are credible. They ought not be ignored. Mainstream media, I’m looking at you.

Gee, I can hardly wait until the next time that Trump decides to accuse Bill Clinton of assaulting women.

In other news, which is not quite as stomach churning, but just barely, it appears that we now know who Trump is vetting for his VP slot: 

Donald Trump’s campaign has begun formally vetting possible running mates, with former House speaker Newt Gingrich emerging as the leading candidate, followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. But there are more than a half dozen others being discussed as possibilities, according to several people with knowledge of the process. 

Given Trump’s unpredictability, campaign associates caution that the presumptive Republican nominee could still shake up his shortlist. But with little more than two weeks before the start of the Republican National Convention, Gingrich and Christie have been asked to submit documents and are being cast as favorites for the post inside the campaign. Gingrich in particular is the beneficiary of a drumbeat of support from Trump confidants such as Ben Carson.

There are other names being bandied about as well including Joni Ernst, Jeff Sessions, Bob Corker, Mary Fallin, John Thune, and Tom Cotton.

Sarah Palin's name does not seem to be on the list, however since this vetting is being conducted by Arthur B. Culvahouse, the same genius who cleared her as McCain's VP choice in 2008, I guess anything is possible.

At this point it really does not make any difference who Trump chooses to take the trip to the bottom of the icy deaths along with his campaign, as his chances of winning are getting slimmer and slimmer with each passing day.

So about those Donald Trump rape allegations.

A new lawsuit filed in federal court accuses presidential hopeful Donald Trump of raping a 13-year-old girl at Jeffrey Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion more than 20 years ago. 

The woman, who alleges the rape occurred in 1994, filed a civil complaint in New York Federal Court on Monday against the presumptive Republican nominee and Epstein, a notorious ex-hedge funder previously convicted in a prostitution scandal involving minors. Trump allegedly attended at least four of Epstein’s parties at 9 East 71st Street, known as the Wexner Mansion. The plaintiff, like other girls at the house, was lured to the parties with a promise of a modeling career, the lawsuit claims. 

Testimony attached to the complaint alleges that a woman — identified only as Tiffany Doe — was hired by Epstein to recruit young girls for his parties. The woman allegedly met the plaintiff at Port Authority Bus Terminal and told her the parties would help connect her to the right people to launch her career. The lawsuit, which repeats some allegations made in a dismissed complaint filed in California in April, offers a graphic account of the young girl’s alleged encounters with Trump, the worst of which is described as a “savage sexual act.” 

The lawsuit claims that during this instance, Trump tied her to the bed and struck her face with his hand, saying he could do what he wanted, despite her pleas for him to stop. The complaint alleges that Epstein also raped her.

Sounds bad doesn't it?

However I resisted reproving on this because, to be entirely fair this kind of allegation against wealthy and powerful men happens with some frequency, so I decided to wait and see if it got traction.

It did.

Death and Taxes:

In the next section, she adds that “Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened Plaintiff that, were she ever to reveal any of the details of the sexual and physical abuse of her by Defendant Trump, Plaintiff and her family would be physically harmed if not killed.”

The Frisky:  

Another woman, identified as Tiffany Doe, backed up the allegations in a testimony claiming Epstein hired her to bring other young girls to his parties. The court papers say the original woman didn’t speak up for 20 years because she still believed Trump’s alleged threats would hold true. However, constantly seeing the presidential hopeful’s orange face in the media every day for the past year was emotionally difficult for her, she claimed in the lawsuit, convincing her to take action. 

Raw Story, The Inqisitr, Alternet, and the New York Daily News are now also reporting the story. 

Now like I said these kinds of allegations happen all of the time to famous people (Though since the Bill Cosby case we probably should start giving them more credibility before dismissing them out of hand.), however in this case I think it is very important to shine a spotlight on it.

And the reason I say this is because currently Trump is dredging up every bit of mud that he can find against Hillary Clinton, including Bill's past with women, in order to undermine her popularity with women and smear her with Right Wing conspiracy theories about her husband.

Now there is NO way that Hillary will use this story, neither will any of her surrogates, but the fact remains that everything we know about Trump reinforces his sense of entitlement and his disdain for women.

So if Trump wants to mine the depths of the Drudge Report and World Net Daily for his talking points, then perhaps it is up to all of us to demonstrate just how fragile the glass house he is living in actually is.
