More on the Pat Robertson "legs of steel" controversy.

Here check out this picture.

Okay number one, he is cheating! He is clearly using his hands to push. In my gym he would be disqualified.

Number two, the machine is in the locked position. Do you see those two black tipped handles pointing up toward his legs? Those hold the weight until they are turned out sideways to allow you to start your lift. The weight should be lowered to the point where your knees would be pressed into your chest and then slowly pressed up to an almost straight legged position. The way this machine is set, Pat would only have to press the weight up about six inches. My grandmother could have pressed a 1,000 lbs six inches! And the weight on the machine in that picture might equal 1,000 lbs, but no more.

This position would not be considered a lift by any weight lifter in the country. Pat is a liar!

But that is okay. Because the people who will buy his "his age-defying protein shake", aren't big thinkers anyhow.
