Pakistan makes nice with Osama Bin Laden. Pakistan tells US to suck it!

Osama bin Laden, America's most wanted man, will not face capture in Pakistan if he agrees to lead a "peaceful life," Pakistani officials tell ABC News.

The surprising announcement comes as Pakistani army officials announced they were pulling their troops out of the North Waziristan region as part of a "peace deal" with the Taliban.

If he is in Pakistan, bin Laden "would not be taken into custody," Major General Shaukat Sultan Khan told ABC News in a telephone interview, "as long as one is being like a peaceful citizen."

Bin Laden is believed to be hiding somewhere in the tribal areas of Pakistan, near the Afghanistan border, but U.S. officials say his precise location is unknown.

In addition to the pullout of Pakistani troops, the "peace agreement" between Pakistan and the Taliban also provides for the Pakistani army to return captured Taliban weapons and prisoners.

Well I do believe that is game, set, and match. There is no hope that we will ever see Bin Laden in custody now.

So what is our policy toward Pakistan going to be now? They are providing comfort to our enemies and the President said that we will treat the friends of our enemies as enemies. So great now we have another enemy. Is there anybody left in the world who is not our enemy?

You know we could have captured Bin Laden. We had our chance. But we were so distracted by something else that we let him slip through our fingers. What was that thing that took all of our attention off of the capture of Bin Laden again? It was an invasion or something. Whatever happened with that?
