Another source familiar with the Air Force plans said the extra funds would help pay to transport growing numbers of U.S. soldiers being killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
We had plenty of money to send these brave men and women over to fight an illegal war, but now that they have given their lives or suffered horrific injury the Air Force is begging for the money to return them to their loved ones.
If this does not sum up how poorly planned this conflict was, then I don't know what does!
I still don't understand why it takes $50 billion to ship cargo from Iraq.
