Now confirmed that Sarah Palin will definitely NOT be the ambassador to Canada.

The White House has assured Canada that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will not be appointed as U.S. ambassador to Canada. 

A Trudeau government official says that assurance was provided to Canadian officials during Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s visit to the White House on Monday. 

“It isn’t Sarah Palin,” the official said. 

American officials have not yet made a decision on an ambassador but were leaning to appointing someone who raised money for the Trump campaign.

I swear that it must be Sarah Palin who floats these rumors as an attempt to stay relevant since her Cheeto stained boyfriend unceremoniously dumped her in a gutter.

And then time after time when they don't pan out she just looks more and more pathetic.

Certainly had some of the Canadians a little worried though.

As one of the few people who actually had to suffer under Sarah Palin's leadership I cannot say that I blame our neighbors to the East.

However I have every confidence that WHOEVER Donald Trump inflicts upon Canada they will be able to handle just fine.

So are the rumors about Sarah Palin becoming the ambassador to Canada true? Who knows, anything is possible these days.

But after a White House spokesman refused to rule out the possibility that Sarah Palin could be the next US ambassador to Ottawa, few in Canada seemed to be embracing the prospect of the former Alaska governor taking up the role.

“Sarah Palin as ambassador?” New Democrat MP Charlie Angus asked on Twitter. “Well that would show how little Steve Bannon and his pal @realDonaldTrump think of Canada.” 

Others dismissed the idea as simply fake news or alternative facts, while some wondered if this was an early April Fools joke from the White House. 

“Appointing Sarah Palin as the US ambassador to Canada is, like, ultimate trolling,” noted one. “If he makes Sarah Palin the US Ambassador to Canada. I say we keep our oil and hockey players. BTW … does she speak Canadian?” Asked another.

Oh good Canadians have a sense of humor.

Well if Sarah Palin actually becomes the ambassador to their country they are going to need it.

So do I think this might be an actual possibility?

Sure. After all Donald Trump clearly has not let ignorance, racism, or mental illness disqualify any of his administration picks so far.

And would Sarah Palin be willing to take the job?

What other choices does she have right now?

But there is really nothing to worry about even if she does.

Ambassadors have virtually NO power, and as for embarrassing the United States, what more could she really do in that area that Donald Trump is not already doing?

So let Trump appoint her if that is what he wants.  It would just once again put her in a position to be mocked by the worldwide media and who does not enjoy that?

The above picture showed up on Bristol's Facebook page a few hours ago, under the heading "family picture attempt."

Looking at it I was struck that it seems to be a picture designed to answer a lot of allegations made on this blog and others.

For instance it appears that they are in their Wasilla home. So it responds to the rumor that Sarah Palin does not live here.

Check.

And there are all of the dogs that Palin mentioned in her recent Facebook post. (Wait weren't there now supposed to be four? I only count three.)

Kinda check.

There is Bristol doing that single parent thing with Tripp.

Check.

There is Kayla with her father Track, proving he is not an absentee parent, or high on drugs.

Check.

There is Willow right there next to Piper putting to rest all of those rumors that she is under lock and key.

Check. 

And there is Todd and Sarah sitting tog.....well actually Sarah is standing and looks like she wants to flee down the now obstructed stairway.

So....not really a check.

Okay well let's not nitpick.

Clearly this is a hard working, loving family, living a vibrant life, and all residing in Alaska.

So all of you haters can simply shut up now.

Is David Gregory out at Meet the Press? Or is somebody just teasing us?

Chuck Todd, the NBC News political director and chief White House correspondent, is likely to succeed David Gregory as moderator of "Meet the Press," with the change expected to be announced in coming weeks, top political sources told POLITICO's Mike Allen. 

The move is an effort by NBC News President Deborah Turness to restore passion and insider cred to a network treasure that has been adrift since the death of Tim Russert in 2008. Gregory, his replacement, suffered from low ratings and, in recent months, an onslaught of negative press reports. 

While Todd is not a classic television performer, sources said his NBC bosses have been impressed by his love of the game, which brings with it authenticity, sources and a loyal following among newsmakers and political junkies.

Of course NBC has been quick to try and squash these rumors, but considering how often this  rumor starts circulating I have to think that there is definitively something to it.

Like many of you I am no fan of Gregory.

However though Chuck Todd would be an improvement, he would not be much of one.

I would REALLY like to see somebody in the job who had a great love of politics, and little patience with bullshit.

Somebody who could be respectful while refusing to let a guest spin a question to their liking, or avoid it altogether.

Actually to be honest, and I know this will never happen, my emotional choice would be for young Luke Russert to take over the position that his father once commanded with such integrity.

I think that Luke would take the job incredibly seriously and I believe he would rise to the challenge.

But that will never happen, so I guess I will just have to be happy that Gregory gets tossed out on his skinny ass instead.

Kim Kardashian does what Sarah Palin never could. Shows the belly. Update!

After all of those rumors started to swirl about Kim Kardashian faking her pregnancy she did what would seem to be the most obvious response.

She showed a picture of the naked belly bump. Good for her, speculation will now come to a stop.

However after all of these years, Sarah Palin has not ONCE done the same. Not once.

And why not?

Simply put, there is no  picture of a naked belly for her to share, because it never happened.

The same thing goes for a birth certificate, a picture of her in the hospital right after the delivery, or of her breast feeding.

That is why there has NEVER been any doubt for most of us that she faked her pregnancy. Because, and trust me on this, if Sarah Palin could make us all look like fools, she would have done so many times over by now.

National Enquirer blind item may not be so "blind" afterall.

All day long I have been receiving this National Enquirer blind item post courtesy of Crazy Days and Nights:  

THIS prominent lady politico is frantic to keep news of her recent tummy tuck and liposuction procedures out of the media. The conservative mom wants her fans to believe she’s all natural and stays trim by exercising daily! Can you name her?

First let me say that I don't have any definitive proof that this is Palin, but I have been chronicling her plastic surgery for years, and even received information from a witness to one of the surgeries, so there is really no longer any doubt that she goes under the knife fairly regularly. (As does Bristol obviously.)

Remember the lump?

As for whether she had a tummy tuck, I guess I would have to ask why a woman who looked like THIS when she was seven months pregnant would even NEED one of those?

Unless, perhaps THAT'S the reason for all of the secrecy from this person identified in the above NE blind item. After all if you are famous for having the tightest abs in politics, so tight that people could not "discern the stage of your pregnancy," it certainly would not look good to let the world know that you required a little surgical nip and tuck in order to continue with that facade now would it?

Though to be honest, this would not be the FIRST time that Palin's little tight tummy deception has been exposed.

P.S. If you visit the link to Crazy Days and Nights up above, and read the comments, you will see that virtually EVERYBODY just automatically assumed the item is about Palin. So we are certainly not alone in our suspicions.

Why aren’t Gov. Pawlenty or Perry or Schwartz kids scrutinized like this? Let me talk to the folks asking these questions, please. 

Now what is kind of interesting about this is that THIS e-mail was sent only about two hours BEFORE the Brendan Joel Kelley e-mail asking about the confrontation between Todd and Levi. So on this particular day Palin was undoubtedly wishing that she had never even HEARD of Levi Johnston. (No wonder uber image conscious governor was whispering in Bristol's ear how much better her life would be without the father of her newborn around.)

Interestingly enough I had NO idea that this rumor was even out there in early 2009. I was constantly hearing a number of questionable rumors, but this one did not filter down to me, and even my buddy Dennis Zaki, left me out of the loop. (To be fair we had just become friends at this point and he was always very secretive about his sources.)

However this is exactly the kind of rumor that would have enraged Bristol, who is very insecure and was constantly convinced that Levi was cheating on her. I actually don't think that Levi would have had the time to cheat on Bristol, since he was literally living in the Palin home and caring for Tripp (and often Trig) virtually 24 hours a day. (When Palin was not sending him on runs to Taco Bell, or he was working his extremely temporary job on the slope, of course.)

As demonstrated in July of 2010, even the hint of unfaithfulness was enough to send Bristol into a rage. So this incident in 2009, coupled with the tension between Todd and Levi, spelled certain doom for the young lovers. (By the way Mercede dispelled the rumor that last broke Levi and Bristol up in the summer of 2010 on her blog. Just in case you missed it)

Now as for Palin's assertion that she called Levi to check on these rumors, I don't believe that is true.

It might be, but from what I understand Sarah rarely called Levi, so it most likely yet another case where Palin claims to have spoken to somebody, or had a press release written on their behalf, without actually contacting that person. (In fact that "youthful indiscretion" apology supposedly written by Levi, was in fact written by Thomas Van Flein. As revealed on page 141 of Levi's book.)

Essentially Levi was born to be manipulated.

He was manipulated by Bristol into impregnating her.

He was manipulated by Palin into standing on stage with the family for purely political reasons during the campaign.

And he was terribly manipulated by Tank Jones and Rex Butler out of making the kind of money that he could have made by telling the REAL truth about his time with the Palins.

Like I said Levi NEVER stood a chance.

P.S. People have been asking me if I know anything about Levi's refusal to appear on Bristol's reality show. I do have a little information, but it is not something that I have permission to share.

What I think I can say though is that there is some concern, justified in my opinion, that Bristol wants to film Levi so that the producers can edit the footage to make him seem like an uncaring father or defame him in some way.

Personally I think that is one of the few smart moves this kid has manged to pull off.

P.P.S. This is Dennis Zaki's response to my questions to him about this e-mail.

Wow. I forgot about that panic attack by them since there's been so many. I do remember my contacts at CNN and CBS called asking, can't remember which rags called. I do remember Bullshit Bill denied everything first in a phone called as soon as he got my email (before he called Sarah) then started asking questions because it was clearly the first he had ever heard of it. That was SOP by him and Leighow to lie first, find out details later, then return a call and lie again. I never heard from them again after that first inquiring phone call. 

Actually in this case I do think this was just a rumor, but interesting how the Palin team dealt with these things by adamantly denying things out of hand, BEFORE they ever check to see if there is anything to the story. Don'tcha think?

Palin uses Twitter to claim she was mocking media for divorce rumors in 2007, that did not start until in 2009. WTF?

So here is the tweet that Palin sent out earlier today.

Really? Well color me confused because the e-mail she refers to was sent on September 26, 2007, but MY post about her marital troubles was not posted until August 1, 2009.

Up until that post NOBODY in the media had ever even heard of any marital problems between the Palins. Believe me I know, because that was why I suffered such an aggressive and sustained backlash after that post went viral.

So my question is, how could she have been mocking "divorce rumors" that first started in mid 2009, all the way back in 2007?

Methinks somebody did not think this tweet all the way through.

Or else she really IS a witch!

Geoffrey sent this to me so that I might share it wth all of you:

Yes, it’s true, I’ve heard dozens of rumors about the Palins—all sorts of things—and I have asked my various sources questions, including about this alleged “love child.” So the National Enquirer accurately reported my questioning. You are correct, also, about this rumor re. Todd. It came from people very closely connected to him in Wasilla and Dillingham. And this rumor had nothing to do with Trig or Shailey Tripp and, in the end, I decided not to pursue it. It was challenging enough to track down those things I knew with certainty. And I did unearth some startling personal stories, which is perhaps where this rumor originated.

That said, it’s what Sarah Palin did during her public career that is really what most concerns me—from her tenure on the Wasilla City Council and as mayor, through her governorship and her quest for the American presidency. And that sordid record has not been thoroughly examined or exposed. What she did to her former brother-in-law Mike Wooten, for example, is an absolute outrage. She and her father and her husband conspired in an orchestrated vendetta against Wooten to get his job as a Trooper. And they weren’t even able to pull that off—and, in the end, it was Troopergate that ultimately soured the McCain campaign and GOP insiders on Palin. It is Troopergate that will ultimately cost her the GOP nomination and any shot at the presidency. Troopergate was the issue that exposed and underscored her corruption as governor. It called lie to her pretensions of being a political crusader and a reformer.

As for all the rumors, there’s nothing the Palins could do that would shock me. About their parenting. Their private lives. Nothing. Because what we know is already shocking enough. She absolutely betrayed John McCain in the middle of the campaign. She raised the specter of Reverend Wright when McCain had specifically said it was off-limits because of its purely racist subtext. And she did it. Intentionally. On national TV. Then lied about it. What doesn’t she lie about? Her political career is one long train wreck from Wasilla to Juneau to D.C. I’ve said it before, she has no moral compass. She has no governor on her ambition.

Well there you have it.  The TWO most famous authors currently working on books about Sarah Palin have both confirmed the validity of this story.  STILL think the National Enquirer is "just making stuff up?" 

Now if we can only get somebody to confirm it beyond any doubt.

Remember how I've said that the more Sarah Palin denies something the more likely it is that it's true?

A tabloid report that Sarah and Todd Palin were on the verge of a $20-million divorce settlement had her steaming – and him chuckling – the former vice-presidential candidate tells PEOPLE in its new issue.

"I call Todd on the cell phone [from the grocery checkout] and I say, 'Todd, you won't believe this cover!' And he says, 'Twenty million? Write me a check,' " Palin recounts. "He's good about laughing some of that stuff off."

You know it has been a year and almost four months since the day I first reported that the Palins were having marital trouble.  From what I was hearing at the time if you would have told me that Sarah could have convinced Todd to stay in that frigid excuse for a marriage this long I would told you that you were crazy.

Just goes to show that money may not buy happiness, but it does buy obedience.

Even after all of these months Todd is still playing his part, still acting as her guard dog, and still toting her hideous purse.

And they say romance is dead.

The fact that she seems to be forced to mention her mother every few seconds, the chunky midsection, her clear discomfort in doing the dance moves, have made me feel sorry for Bristol for the first time in many months.

I hope that Bristol was not subjected to all of this just to put to rest the rumors that she was pregnant, because for me they did no such thing. Check around the 1:30 mark and tell me what you think.

Update: I think that some of the commenters are purposefully trying to make this appear to be all about the normal fluctuations in weight.  But it is NOT. It is about a very specific, and prevalent rumor that has been repeated in the Valley and around Anchorage for a number of months now.

By the way THIS is a picture of Bristol in May of 2009, around five months after Tripp was born.

Sarah Palin is NOT being paid a million dollars per episode for her Alaska unreality show!

I have been hearing this rumor for over a week now, and I always thought it sounded wrong, but EVERYBODY kept repeating that Palin would receive a million dollars for each episode of her show on TLC so I remained confused on the topic.

Finally the Daily Beast has received some clarification:

Contrary to popular opinion, cable network TLC thinks audiences can learn something from Sarah Palin, and the company is willing to pay her roughly $250,000 per episode, or $2 million in total, to educate them.

That’s the ballpark amount the woman formerly known as the governor of Alaska will pocket from the sale of an eight-episode documentary series to the Discovery-owned network, sources familiar with the project told The Daily Beast.
 
I still believe that Palin is being substantially overpaid for this program, but now at least we can put to bed that ridiculous rumor about a million dollars per episode.  TLC is going to lose enough money as it is.

Saturday Rumor Wrap Up with your Uncle Gryphen.

After a week of playing phone tag, and having appointments made and broken repeatedly, I finally had a face to face with my favorite source. And it proved rather interesting.

Now because my source is still staying out of the public eye, these revelations will not make it past the rumor stage......yet. But I am hoping that I can get some things on the record with named sources in the near future. Trust me I worked very hard on that.

For those of you who have been wondering how much Sarah Palin was being paid by Harper Collins for her book deal, the figure I was told is a whopping ten million dollars! Of course this includes not just the book deal itself but also all of the promotional duties that go along with it. Talk shows, book store appearances, radio interviews, and so on. This is something that would prove very difficult to do while still saddled with the responsibilities of being Governor of Alaska.

Now do you remember how Sarah is always complaining that she and Todd owe hundreds of thousands of dollars? Well that might in fact be true. But it is not for legal bills. It is for.....shall we say a certain amount of silence. At least that is the "rumor".

By the way Sarah Palin has been discussing the option of resigning with family and close associates since December. Essentially ever since she returned from the campaign trail. It might be educational for all of her supporters to note that while she was actively seeking funds from them she was already looking for the nearest exit.

This is pure conjecture on my part, but I believe that she has NO intention of seeking political office ever again.

And Levi is right, she has been offered a ton of money for a ton of projects. I believe she has had dollar signs in her eyes since she first hit the stage at the national convention.

I don't want to address the kids since they are innocent children. With the exception Bristol who is now of legal age and a celebrity.

Have you ever wondered why she suddenly stopped going around promoting abstinence? Well that is hard to do if you have not been much of a practitioner in the past and are even less of one today. And it is worth noting that certain "relationships" continue to this day.

Remember that big fight I reported between mama Palin and Bristol? I received more confirmation that it did indeed take place. The subject.....a man. And not the one you immediately assume.

There is more but I do not have permission to share it yet. However I do have plans to dig up more, much, much more.

Now to the question of why should we care. Yes Sarah Palin is soon to be the ex-Governor of Alaska. She will no longer be in any position to cause my state and my fellow citizens any direct harm due to her lack of ability or selfishness.

But there are still lies that were told to the American people by this woman which must be revealed. Just like George Bush, Sarah Palin has treated us like ignorant children and the media helped her to do it. So it falls to blogs like this one, and others, to get to the truth behind the lies.

And whether Sarah Palin is still in a position of power or not there are still people who believe every single falsehood that she has put out there and that cannot continue. These people are sending her their hard earned cash donation on the basis that she is a warrior of truth and social change, and in my opinion that is a criminal endeavor which must be stopped.

I hope that this roundup will help satiate your appetite for information. I know you want it all, but there are careful negotiations that have to be concluded first and try to focus on the fact that I AM bringing you information not available in any other place, so please continue to be patient.
