This Twitter account may or may not be on the up and up, but if it is it's awesome.

I am not sure if this Rogue POTUS Staff account is actually from inside the White House, but it has made a handful of predictions that came true...
...and it DOES seem to be accurate in how it describes a Donald Trump we can all imagine behind the scenes.

Like I said I'm not sure how trustworthy it is, but it is certainly entertaining and just to cover my bases I AM now following it.

It is also worth noting that there are a number of similar "rogue" accounts out there tweeting facts that Trump does not want shared, as well as given opinions on his presidency that must be driving him up a wall.

And even without Twitter this White House is leaking like a sieve.

I seems like just about everybody around this president is showing him in an unflattering light.

Not that it is especially hard to do.

Did Sarah Palin "borrow" my headline?

"Who knew Todd had any balls?"
The other day the Grizzled Mama was asked about Todd's endorsement of Newt, and this was her response:

"First dude went rogue," Palin said when asked if she had been consulted prior to the endorsement. "And I respect him for doing that. Todd is all about hard hats and steel-toed boots and getting people to work."

I read this and thought to myself, "Hmm sounds familiar. Now where have I heard that before?"

Then I remembered.

Now look I am not one of those assholes that demands an acknowledgement EVERY TIME somebody  borrows a phrase, or headline, or joke from me, but since we all know that Sarah is a regular IM visitor, it WOULD be nice if she could at the very least make a snide remark or insult my blog directly once in a while.

Even a "Fuck that Gryphen guy," would be a nice start.

I'm just saying.

(P.S. By the way for those who think I am taking undue credit, go ahead and Google "Todd Palin goes rogue" and see what pops up.)

Palin refuses to listen to McCan advisers decides to go rogue. Oh this is going to be good!

Four Republicans close to Palin said she has decided increasingly to disregard the advice of the former Bush aides tasked to handle her, creating occasionally tense situations as she travels the country with them. Those Palin supporters, inside the campaign and out, said Palin blames her handlers for a botched rollout and a tarnished public image -- even as others in McCain's camp blame the pick of the relatively inexperienced Alaska governor, and her public performance, for McCain's decline.

"She's lost confidence in most of the people on the plane," said a senior Republican who speaks to Palin, referring to her campaign jet. He said Palin had begun to "go rogue" in some of her public pronouncements and decisions.

Anger among Republicans who see Palin as a star and as a potential future leader has boiled over because, they say, they see other senior McCain aides preparing to blame her in the event he is defeated.

"These people are going to try and shred her after the campaign to divert blame from themselves," said a McCain insider, referring to McCain's chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, and to Nicolle Wallace, a former Bush aide who has taken a lead role in Palin's campaign.

Reporters really began to notice the change last Sunday, when Palin strolled over to a local television crew in Colorado Springs.

"Get Tracey," a staffer called out, according to The New York Times, summoning spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt, who reportedly "tried several times to cut it off with a terse 'Thank you!' in between questions, to no avail."

I am sorry is it Christmas? I thought it was still only October, how can so many gifts be coming my way?

Sarah Palin has decided to bite the hand that plucked her from obscurity in the wilds of Wasilla and to start speaking for herself? With no script? With no kindly old grandfather sitting next to her to correct her when she says something stupid?

Well if she wants to start answering questions for herself, and possibly face "Meet the Press" or "60 Minutes", or Anderson Cooper on her own then all I have to say is, let her! Please, oh please, let her!

Update: If you want the 411 on how John McCain got saddled with this albatross, the New Yorker has the whole sordid story for you here. (And many thanks to my friend Jean for bringing this story to my attention.)
