Just seeing Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro back together was worth the price of admission.

Donald Trump finally admits he does not care about America. Okay it was Alec Baldwin playing Donald Trump, but it certainly had the ring of truth didn't it?

I am absolutely convinced that this is almost exactly how Trump's mind works.

I don't think that Baldwin was so much playing a part as he was channeling the actual subconscious of Tangerine Hitler.

And I would bet my house that a number of the people who work closely with him have heard him mutter “I don’t care about America. This whole four-year presidency is a cash grab,” more than a few times under his breath.

Bet my house.

P.S. This segment does not really have anything to do with Donald Trump or politics, but it was by far my favorite bit from last night.,

I present to you Black Jeopardy, featuring the Black Panther.

I have seen this three times now, and it never fails to crack me up. 

Last night SNL spent much of the show mocking the Trump presidency.

You know that absolutely NOBODY takes you seriously when even your doctor gets ridiculed on late night TV shows.

During my favorite part of he show, Weekend Update, the mocking continued.

Is there ANYBODY that Kate McKinnon cannot play on television?

This was almost as good as her Jeff Sessions.

Next up, Stormy Daniels.

Yep, we all "got a Stormy" alright. Lucky us.

Trump recently made the comment that he will win reelection because cable news shows, and reporters, will not want to see him leave office, because they make money writing about him.

That of course is bullshit.

However I have to imagine that late night comedy will certainly shed a tear or two when he is dragged kicking and screaming from the Oval Office.

Nah, just kidding. They will probably be applauding right along with the rest of us.

The SNL cold open last night was exactly what we needed.

By far my favorite part was the reappearance of Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton, saying "Lock him up."

Especially since it echoes chants from actual protesters directed at Trump that same day.

And Michael Flynn was not left out of the fun either.

I love the smell of Schadenfreude in the morning.

Florida congressional candidate claims that she has been on a space ship. Oookay then.

Rodriguez Aguilera, 59, a Republican who is running to replace retiring Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, recounted her experience with the ETs during a 2009 television interview.

She described “going up” inside the spaceship — though whether it went into space or just hovered around town was left unclear. 

“I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship — not like airplanes,” Rodriguez Aguilera said.

Rodriguez also claims that she learned some stuff from the blond aliens, such as that there are 30,000 skulls — “different from humans” — in a cave in the Mediterranean island of Malta, the world’s “energy center” is in Africa, the Coral Castle, a limestone tourist attraction South Miami-Dade, is actually an ancient Egyptian pyramid, and that God is universal energy.

Believe it or not when reached for comment Rodriguez did not deny any of this, and in fact doubled on down.

The Miami Herald asked Rodriguez Aguilera about her experiences Friday. She responded with a statement that waxed astronomical but failed to mention close encounters of any kind. 

“For years people, including Presidents like Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter and astronauts have publicly claimed to have seen unidentified flying objects and scientists like Stephen Hawking and institutions like the Vatican have stated that there are billions of galaxies in the universe and we are probably not alone,” she said. “I personally am a Christian and have a strong belief in God, I join the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe.”

Well you know I also am open to the idea of extraterrestrial life and the possibility of intelligent life beyond the stars, but my mind kind of slams shut hard when anybody talks about joyriding around with ET.

I wonder if this lady is any relation to the one on the SNL skit?

Seems just as plausible to me.

Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon big winners for SNL at last night's Emmy Awards.

Given his obsession with ratings and his television fixation, there’s a good chance Donald Trump spent his Sunday night seething in front of the TV as he watched the Emmy Awards turn him into a punching bag. (Well, mostly.) Alec Baldwin, whose much-lauded impression of Trump on Saturday Night Live earned him an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, couldn’t resist getting in his own dig at the president, beginning his acceptance speech by saying, “I suppose I should say: At long last, Mr. President, here is your Emmy.” 

Baldwin was referencing Trump’s long-running complaint that the Emmys were somehow rigged against The Apprentice—a claim he repeated during a presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, footage of which was shown during Sunday’s ceremony. Baldwin continued his speech with another Trump burn: “I want to thank my wife. My wife and I had three children in three years, and we didn't have a child last year during the SNL season. I wonder if there's a correlation there. All you men out there, you put that orange wig on, it's birth control. Trust me.” Kudos to whoever’s job it was to keep Trump off of Twitter for the duration of the evening.

Baldwin was not the only SNL cast member to win an Emmy for their amazing portrayal of a candidate last night.

So did this incredibly talented performer.

(You will notice that Kate actually thanked Hillary whereas Alec merely mocked Trump. I think that says a lot.)

Alec Baldwin is great, don't get me wrong, but in my opinion Kate McKinnon may be one of the most talented cast members that SNL has every had in its stable.

I swear literally every time I see her onscreen she is killing it.

And her portrayal of Hillary Clinton was amazing.

Melissa McCarthy wins Emmy for her portrayal of former White House press secretary Sean Spicer. So well deserved.

Melissa McCarthy brought home an Emmy this weekend for her memorable impersonation of former White House press secretary Sean Spicer on "Saturday Night Live." 

The actress won an Emmy for best actress on a comedy series at the Emmy’s creative arts awards Sunday, according to The Associated Press. The awards are a precursor to the main show next weekend. 

McCarthy’s impersonation of Spicer, featuring her driving a podium through New York City, firing a water gun at reporters and repeatedly threatening to run them over with the podium, drew wide praise.

There are very few positives to take away from the Trump presidency (And THAT'S an understatement if ever there were one.) but  McCarthy's impersonation of "Spicey" was certainly my favorite.

It pure joy watching what McCarthy did with these skits, and I firmly believe that the fact they upset Trump so much is part of the reason that Spicer ultimately got the big heave ho.

Here let's just take a moment to remind ourselves why she is so deserving of this honor.

Yep, still makes me laugh myself sick.

Made even better by the fact that you just know this is really fucking with Donald Trump's day. 

Alec Baldwin returns to SNL to mock Trump's response to Charlottesville.

Alec Baldwin dusted off his Saturday Night Live Donald Trump impersonation on Thursday's Weekend Update: Summer Edition. He lampooned the president's controversial response to the Charlottesville tragedy, defensive Phoenix rally and bizarre choice to stare directly at the sun during the solar eclipse.

"How about that eclipse, folks, huh?" Trump said onstage during the mock rally, wearing sunglasses. "A lot of people don't know this, but you can damage your eyes while looking at an eclipse.

"After praising the mostly white crowd as "fantastic," Trump attempted to "set the record straight" by clarifying his widely criticized response to the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. 

"You have a group on one side that's very bad, neo-Nazis, and you had a group on the other side' – and then I didn't say a single word after that," he said.

Must keep our sense of humor.

It is what sustained me through eight years of George W. Bush and by gosh it will sustain me through the predicted year and a half of the Trump presidency.

Oh that was.....let's just say beautiful.

But I think we all know what we will miss most about Spicey leaving.

 Oh yeah, I feel a hole in my heart already.

SNL has most successful season in decades, receives 22 Emmy nominations.

Following its most successful season in more than two decades, “Saturday Night Live” secured 22 Emmy nominations on Thursday, the most in its decades-long history.

The NBC variety show transformed into something more over the course of its 42nd season, as millions of liberal-minded people across the country looked to Lorne Michaels and his cast to help make sense of the country’s election of President Donald Trump. 

That interest was reflected in its ratings ― it was the most watched season in more than two decades ― and now in its Emmy nominations, as the show bested its previous nomination record of 16, which it set in 2011 and tied last year.

Of course Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon were nominates, for Best Comedy Supporting Actor and Best Comedy Supporting Actress.

And that was well deserved indeed.

This season was the best one I have seen in quite a long time, and those two made it a joy.

I really think that SNL did a real public service with the skits showing Trump as Putin's puppet. It's just too bad that those in the heartland thing this is all left wing propaganda.

I had a lot of favorite sketches this last season, but I think the following was my all time favorites.

Hey, it made me appreciate Hillary Clinton a lot more.

Last night SNL's cold open was not to be missed. Update!

I swear this SNL cast may be one of the most talented in the history of the show.

My favorite by far is Kate McKinnon who seems to have no limit to her abilities.

Speaking of McKinnon, I think I kind of preferred her version of Hallelujah.

SNL is now going on their summer hiatus so we will not have their help in mocking the president and his cabinet, but I am sure that there are many others up to the challenge.

Several White House officials suggest that spokesperson Sean Spicer might soon be replaced with Fox News host.

Oh God, I hate my life.

President Trump has reportedly considered replacing White House press secretary Sean Spicer, and has raised a Fox News host as a possible spokesperson. 

Six West Wing officials told The New York Times that the president is considering the most far-reaching shake-up of his first term after being dissatisfied with several top aides, especially Spicer. 

Trump has discussed Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle as a possible press secretary, according to the Times, which noted that the president has also spent several hours with Spicer this week praising his TV "ratings" during briefings.

Yes that is what Trump does. He talks you up to your face while searching for the perfect place to insert the knife in your back.

Think James Comey.

(This by the way is not unprecedented as George W. Bush also hired Fox host Tony Snow as HIS White House spokesperson briefly in 2006.)

It also kind of makes sense as Trump tends to blame everybody but himself when things go wrong, and Spicer has been struggling to keep up with the avalanche of lies coming out of the White House and failing to do so.

It perhaps is also not helping that SNL frequently pokes fun at Spicer every chance they get.

Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark.

Speaking of Fox News it appears that Congressman, and recent recipient of Obamacare, Jason Chaffetz might be headed to that network as well:

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has made no public announcement about what he plans to do after finishing out his final term in Congress, but he has been telling Capitol Hill colleagues he may soon head to Fox News, the Washingtonian reported Saturday. 

Two Republican lawmakers who have spoken to Chaffetz, as well as four House Republican aides, told the newspaper that he said he plans to take on a “substantial” on-air position for the conservative news channel. 

This move may come as early as July, according to the report—over a year and a half before his term in Congress would end.

Why doesn't Fox News simply end the charade and publicly identify themselves as a clearing house for former and future Republican politicians and White House staff members?

I mean it's not like we actually think they are a legitimate cable news station.

Melissa McCarthy reprised her role as press secretary Sean Spicer on "Saturday Night Live," this time dressed in an Easter Bunny costume and offering an apology for the White House spokesman's comments calling concentration camps "Holocaust centers" last week.

I swear watching Melissa McCarthy as Sean "Spicey" Spicer is my new favorites thing.

I could watch a whole show with just her playing that character, with perhaps a little Kate McKinnon as Kellyanne Conway thrown in just to keep things lively.

Actually to be honest I am just very appreciative of ANYTHING that can make me laugh right now.

Shows like SNL, the Daily Show, the Late Show, Full Frontal, and Last Week Tonight are keeping me sane.

I swear Alec Baldwin is the best!

However I have to admit that as much as I love humor, it is becoming harder and harder to find anything to laugh at with this president.

Laughing at the ignorance of his supporters however....well that never gets old.

Actually Baldwin pulled double duty last night, not only appearing in the cold open as Donald Trump but also appearing in another skit as Trump being interviewed by Bill O'Reilly ALSO played by Alex Baldwin.

Like  I said, the best!

SNL brilliantly calls out Ivanka Trump for providing cover for her father in a parody perfume ad called "Complicit."

This sketch truly makes a point that many in the mainstream media won't, namely that Ivanka is complicit in her father's use of racism, sexism and bigotry to win and extend his stay in the White House. 

"SNL" cleverly utilized a parody of a commercial for a high-end designer fragrance to make this point. It opens with Ivanka, played by host Scarlett Johansson, entering a room of people dressed in tuxedos and ball gowns, as a voiceover says, "Every man knows her name. Every woman knows her face." 

The partygoers all stop and look as the voiceover continues, "When she walks into a room, all eyes are on her. She's Ivanka." 

The commercial continues with glamour shots of Ivanka and then comes the first comedic bulls eye: "She's beautiful. She's powerful. She's ... complicit." We then hear, "She's a woman who knows what she wants. And knows what she's doing. Complicit."

I thought SNL was really good this weekend with some real laugh out loud skits (If you have not seen it yet I highly recommend Zoo Pornographer.) however when I saw this I knew it was going to be the one that everybody talked about this week.

We typically consider family to be off limits, but with the Trump's that is virtually impossible since they are all...well...complicit.

Last night SNL brilliantly trolled the Republicans over Donald Trump.

There was no Alec Baldwin or Melissa McCarthy last night, but that certainly did not stop SNL from creating some devastating political commentary.

I also really liked this bit with Kate McKinnon portraying Jeff Sessions as Forrest Gump.

For those who did not see "The Help" and are at a loss as to what the "special ingredient" is in Minny's pie just click here to find out. 

Even though the tweets have stopped apparently SNL is still getting under Donald Trump's skin. Good to know.

Staffers buzz privately about who is up and who is down, with many eagerly gossiping about which poor colleague gets an unflattering portrayal on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” For the past two weeks, it has been White House press secretary Sean Spicer. But aides said Trump was especially upset by a sketch that cast White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon as the Grim Reaper manipulating the president — who was ultimately relegated to a miniature desk, playing dolefully with an expandable toy.

Well good for SNL. They are doing an amazing job of rattling Trump's cage.

However in Bannon's case they may actually be underselling the evil.

Bannon, it should be noted, fits the stereotype of the sinister political adviser to a T —and even seems to revel in it. “Darkness is good,” he told Wolff. “Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That's power.” Note that Bannon said this after the election and his appointment to a top White House job. (These comments are why Saturday Night Live portrayed him as the Grim Reaper in its recent skit.) 

But as chief strategist, Bannon is more than just a political adviser. He’s taken on a major role in policy and is, by most accounts, the leading force in crafting the Trump administration’s agenda — especially the series of White House–issued executive orders with which Trump began his presidency. “Mr. Bannon has rushed into the vacuum, telling allies that he and Mr. Miller have a brief window in which to push through their vision of Mr. Trump’s economic nationalism,” the New York Times’s Glenn Thrush and Maggie Haberman report.

Yeah like I said, that Grim Reaper parody may be a little too deferential.

The guy is in fact far more terrifying than simple death. He embodies the kind of chaos and nationalism that destroys nations.

SNL is killing it. Killing it I say!

I swear that Melissa McCarthy is a shoo-in for an Emmy nomination.

Her Sean Spicer is one of the funnest things I have ever seen.

Don't get me wrong the rest of the show was damn good as well.

There was a segment with Alec Baldwin appearing as Trump in People's Court.

And a great Weekend Update segment with Kate McKinnon as Elizabeth Warren.

But then there was this bit with Kate once again reprising her role as Kellyanne Conway stalking CNN's Jake Tapper after he refused to allow her on his show because....well because she lies.

Okay that was both creepy as hell and amazing.

We already reported that SNL is getting the highest ratings in 22 years, and it is pretty clear they deserve it.

Like I said, they are KILLING it!

Alec Baldwin returns to SNL this weekend and promises it will be a "big deal."

What nuggets of comedic gold will Alec Baldwin’s hosting stint on Saturday Night Live bring us this weekend? Who knows? Maybe he doesn’t even know. (Nah. Of course he does. And maybe Melissa McCarthy and Rosie O’Donnell know, too?) But as he puts it ever so dramatically in the cinematic teaser for the episode: “The pull of fate is undeniable.” Strap on your seat belts, everybody. We have a feeling this is going to be … yuge.

Like I said before currently SNL is "must see TV" in my home so I am certainly going to be watching this Saturday.

And since this bit from Melissa McCarthy last weekend almost cost Sean Spicer his job, it is now going to be entertaining to see what SNL does next to rattle Trump's cage.

Personally I would LOVE to see an appearance by Rosie O'Donnell as Stephen Bannon, but we shall see.

Yes, we shall see.

SNL enjoying highest ratings in 22 years.

If President Donald Trump tweets about Saturday Night Live‘s terrible ratings, consider it the fakest of news: In reality, the NBC sketch-comedy series is having its most-viewed season in 22 years.

The most recent SNL, in which Melissa McCarthy lampooned White House press secretary Sean Spicer, nabbed a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49, according to TVLine’s sister site, Variety. As such, the late-night laugher ranked behind only CBS’ The Big Bang Theory as the highest rated program in the demo. These numbers are in line with SNL‘s overall Season 42 viewership — its best since Season 20 — which is up 19 percent in the demo and 22 percent in total viewers over last year.

SNL‘s recent success is likely to irk the ratings-conscious Trump, who used part of his speaking time at February’s National Prayer Breakfast to malign Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stewardship of Celebrity Apprentice, which Trump used to host (and on which he is still credited as an executive producer). 

Oh yeah, this is going to piss Cheeto Hitler off big time.

Which is why it's such awesome news.

I have to admit that this is the first time since Tina Fey was mocking our favorite dimwitted Mat-Su moron that I have so actively looked forward to Saturday nights.
