Searchers recovered a body Saturday afternoon that they believe is that of Jessie Marie Davis, a pregnant woman who disappeared June 13, police said.
Bobby Cutts Jr., the father of Davis' 2-year-old son, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, including that of Davis' unborn child, said Stark County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Rick Perez. Cutts is also believed to be the father of Davis' unborn child.
Cutts is an officer with the Canton Police Department.
Perez said the body was found in Summit County, not far from Davis' home in Stark County's Lake Township.
Heartbreaking story. And the fact that he not only killed her and his unborn child, he also left his other baby alone in the house to be discovered by her mom, makes this just about the most heinous crime in recent memory.
How could you not immediately flash back to the Lacey Peterson case when you became aware of this case.
I am a man and I cannot imagine the circumstances that would make me want to hurt the people that I love. Especially a child. Or the mother of my child. It just makes me sick.

ReplyDeleteWhat evidence do you (or does the police have for that matter) to implicate Cutts?
Unless the district attorney has more than circumstantial evidence, the guy has to go free. Furthermore, if it goes any farther and turns out to be a false positive (that is, they've got the wrong guy and they still prosecute) I can't wait until he sues the hell out of the state.
You should take more time and actually wait for the facts to be revealed before you get any more vomitous.
Unfortunently, most of the time, when a preganant woman is murdered the person that did it is the father of the baby. I am not saying that Cutts did it , he is innocent until proven guilty but he is the prime suspect and under arrest. If they had no evidence they would not have done that. And you know circumstantial evidence can be powerful evidence.

ReplyDeleteGo to Fuzzy and Blue- she has all the Scoop on the Case- so does the TrueCrime Blog- Cutts is not a nice guy....period....and he like Scott Perderson does not need anyone defending him - he is a "player", trolling the Internet and the bars for women....what he did to that beautiful woman, his own son and her family is unforgiveable....
