Is the Hillary campaign planning to cheat tomorrow? It sure looks that way.

Hillary Clinton and her campaign is pushing for precinct captains for Texas' 8,000 Democratic polling places. They need to train folks to lead the caucus sessions that will determine more than 60 delegates after the primary voting is over.

In training materials being handed out by the Clinton campaign, it is clear that they want to control those caucus sessions.

The materials say in part, "DO NOT allow the supporter of another candidate to serve in leadership roles."

It goes on to say, "If our supporters are outnumbered, ask the Temporary Chair if one of our supporters can serves as the Secretary, in the interest of fairness."

The control of the sign-in sheets and the announcement of the delegates allotted to each candidate are the critical functions of the Chair and Secretary. This is why it is so important that Hillary supporters hold these positions."

It looks for all of the world like Hillary is telling her people to make sure THEY are the ones who tally the votes.

Why would that be important?

Because they think the Obama people are going to try and steal votes? Not even remotely likely. Obama's whole campaign is about integrity and honesty.

No it is clear that the Hillary campaign is encouraging their people to steal these votes.

How can people possibly support this type of campaign?

There is no way that they can get away with this. Not anymore. Not after New Hampshire.

  1. This is EXACTLY what both my sisters & my father report happened in their caucus places off-the-strip in Vegas. They vote in different caucus places, so I have no doubt it was planned & happened that way in many others. At first, the caucusers looked about evenly divided. The "captains" and other people "in charge" conducted themselves very poorly, unable to give caucusers info about what to do next, even yelling at the milling crowds. Some people left at this point (I wonder which supporters those were, no info -which could've been easily done by exit poll - was ever released of the difference between the count of those who originally signed in & those who stayed til the final & only meaningful vote). Then "someone" decides an Obama supporter, who seemed to be picked at random from the crowd, would first speak to the crowd about Obama (remember how Hill does not like to be first speaker, she likes the old Perry Mason defence strategy). He was impassioned & got a lot a people nodding their heads. Then the Hillary speaker takes the stage & blows everyone away. She was a professional speaker, like a motivational speaker. She had the whole crowd in the palm of her hand. Hillary won Nevada this way. I think it's the only caucus state she has won, so no wonder she will be using those tactics again in TX. Oh, she also had Bill roaming the strip to sway union voters. I don't know what TX has that's equivalent to the strip, but I bet he'll be there.
