Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Terry McAuliffe was on Real Time with Bill Maher last night telling Bill and all of us to "toughen up".
McAuliffe unashamedly defends Hillary's take no prisoner approach to this campaign, forgetting that they are trying to bloody a member of their own party and provide the Republicans with ammunition that they do not have on their own.
I also have to wonder why they lost the feed as soon as Bill started asking McAuliffe the tough questions. Maybe he is not as tough as he pretends to be.
Maybe he can take a page from his candidates book and say that Maher is asking unfair questions, or perhaps shed a tear to garner some sympathy.
Being tough is not when one person pounds on somebody who refuses to fight back. You know everybody remembers who Gandhi was, but who remembers the names of the ones who attacked and abused him? Or the names of the men who turned the fire hoses on Martin Luther King and his followers? History does not reward the bullies, it rewards those who brought inspiration to the people.

On a brigher note, when Bill returns on March 21st, he has scheduled Richard Dawkins, one of my favorite atheists, as a guest! It occurs to me that with apprx 10% of americans claiming to be atheists, and another apprx 20% who call themselves either agnostic or non-relgious, we need to tap into this hitherto ignored group of potential voters. My opinion!
