Rachel Maddow has future Alaska Senator Mark Begich on her show!
There are a numbers of reason why this is totally awesome.
First because it gives the whole nation a chance to see for themselves that Alaska actually has some smart, ethical politicians to offer the country.
Second because this means that Rachel and her people are fairly confident that Begich is going to win this election.
And third because it looks like pretty soon I will get my chance to appear on Rachel's show.
I mean Rachel has interviewed Walt Monegan, Bill Wielechowski, Shannyn Moore, and now Mark Begich. It seems clear to me that Rachel Maddow will not rest until she has interviewed EVERY SINGLE ALASKAN. So my turn should be coming up soon.
Besides I am the one who proclaimed Rachel Maddow the Alaska Progressive Blogger's favorite television host. So that should count for something. Right?

Oh, without a doubt! You're next! And if not SOON, I will begin a write-in campaign to make it so! Honestly, I don't know why it's so close. I get loyalty. I also get that sometimes, everyone wants to get and keep the crazy uncle as far away as possible. Begich is like the really nice (and SO dang smart) young man the cute neice brings home for dinner. Makes it easier to ignore the crazy uncle talking to himself in the corner.
ReplyDeleteyou would rock with rachel!
