Sarah Palin, lacking the chromosome which tells people when to shut the hell up, decides she simply must weigh in on the Carrie Prejean controversy.

Here's Palin's statement:

The liberal onslaught of malicious attacks against Carrie Prejean for expressing her opinion is despicable.

Carrie and I spoke soon after the attacks started; I can relate as a liberal target myself. What I find so remarkable is that these politically-motivated attacks fail to show that what Carrie and I believe is also what President Obama and Secretary Clinton believe - marriage is between a man and a woman. (The very fact that Hillary and Barack have both said this on record means that these are not "politically motivated" attacks. Not EVERYTHING has to do with ones political point of view.)

I applaud Donald Trump for standing with Carrie during this time. And I respect Carrie for standing strong and staying true to herself, and for not letting those who disagree with her deny her protection under the nation's First Amendment Rights. (Nobody attacked Miss Prejean's First Amendment rights.)

Our Constitution protects us all - not just those who agree with the far left. (But do you know one group of Americans that it does not protect very well in Alaska? The homosexual community, isn't that a coincidence?)

Of course Sarah Palin completely misses the point of why people are upset with little Miss California.

It is not that she answered the question honestly. That was fine and I even gave her a positive shout out about right here on this blog. It was that she hooked up with James Dobsons, and those homophobes over at Focus on the Family, to suggest that Satan had made Perez Hilton ask her such a loaded question and that it was God himself who told her how to respond.

That is he kind of thing that made her a laughingstock, and the subject of mush criticism from thinking people.

And the only reason that he nude pictures made such a splash, besides the fact that she signed a contract stating that no such pictures existed, is that she wants to portray herself as this squeaky clean untouched Christina virgin. It is just like a minister who speaks out against gay rights while paying male prostitutes to service them. It is all about hypocrisy.

And by the way I have a little advice for Miss California. Carrie, darlin just go back to California and stick to the public relations responsibilities that come with your title. And if you want to regain ANY credibility at all, than stay as far away from Sarah Palin as is humanly possible! The woman is an albatross who destroys the career of anybody who gets close to her. Just ask John McCain.

And if you find yourself walking alone with Governor Palin down a country road and hear the rumbling of an approaching bus you dive into the bushes just as fast as your skinny little legs will carry you, because I kid you not, Palin will throw you under that bus so fast it will make your little tiara spin like a top.

UPDATE: Here is Keith Olbermann's very insightful take on this topic from today's Countdown.

  1. Sarah never misses an opportunity to grab someone else's limelight and portray herself as the innocent victim of those disgusting, evil liberals.

Is it just my perception, or are the wingnuts getting more stridently "us" against "them" than ever? I guess they're preparing for the End Times...

    Right you are.

This whole flap about "First Amendment" rights is causing a horrific flashback to Falin's radio interview with Rush L. during the election, in which she expressed her view the the media's criticism of her hateful rallies was threatening her rights to free speech. *Shudder*

Miss Prejean's lies have caught up to her. She has been mocked on national television as the flake she is.

Thanks in part to her fake boobs, fake tan, fake hair color, artificially whitened teeth and lots of makeup she looks pretty good, but when she starts to talk her sense of entitlement and stupidity overcomes the visual aspect. I think she is the perfect spokesmodel for Focus on the Family.

What these people don't seem to understand is that freedom of speech does not mean freedom to always be agreed with-- in fact, it means that your opponents have the equal right to answer you.

What these right-wing hypocritical beauty queens don't seem to understand is that free speech does not mean the freedom to have everyone agree with you-- quite the opposite, of course.

  5. Actually, it wasn't about the content of her question. It was about the delivery. It wasn't smooth. It wasn't eloquent. While it wasn't exactly word salad it wasn't exactly Miss USA material either. She just didn't deliver her opinion very well.

And subsequent to that, she's violated her contract several times.

Yes, I'd fire her. But then I'm not an old geezer with a hard on for blondes (with fake boobs, capped teeth and a dye job.)

I'm sure It's onlt those pesky liberal who are concerned with the fact that Prejean:

    1. had nude photos taken of her.
    2. repeatedly lied about it.

Palin probably supports her so vociferously because she can readily identify with #2.

ps Why is Palin signing Meg Stapleton-written statements as governor?

Aside from the fact that such pageants shouldn't exist, I'm merely annoyed that some fake bimbo with fake boobs and capped teeth and a fake tan thought that she was a candidate for a "beauty" contest. Sad state of affairs when this is what constitutes beauty. I'm grossed out by her and all contestants like her, regardless of their lack of brains.

GINO sounds soooo much better and more intelligent when she doesn't open her mouth. She has neither the intelligence or the common sense to keep it shut. Birds of a feather flock together is all I can say. The majority of the people sees through this or at least I hope they do.

Shanna Moakler dishes on Trump's decision
    http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/14/pn.shanna.moakler/
(CNN) -- Donald Trump's decision to let Miss California USA Carrie Prejean keep her title convinced Shanna Moakler to quit as head of the pageant's California organization.

Trump is like a Gordon Gekko. (11 December 1987 (USA) Trump has owned the beauty pageants for ten years. Trump has turn it into profits and Trump asks smart questions. According to Trump.

Shanna Moakler is standing by her principles. Moakler wanted Prejean to take responsibility, apologize.

Moakler said: Yes, the pictures. I couldn't stand by it anymore, and on top of it, the lying continues. Our contracts as state licensees were basically made invalid. For me, it was just too much.

{{{{{{{{{{ Miss California's Real Issue is Ethics. She has corrupted the pagaents.

We know why Carrie Prejean backed out of doing "Larry King Live" tonight. She partied too hard!
    And wait, there's more. You've heard the story that Carrie is co-hosting "FOX and Friends" later this month? Well we found out she has not asked anyone from the Miss California pageant for permission -- a direct violation of the ground rules Donald Trump established yesterday at the bimbo summit. }}}}}}}}}}}}

Prajean is flipping off the old guy and he is a clueless duffus. You've seen his swoop, obviously he doesn't see himself as others see him.

Watch out guys. Palin is gearing up. She is not just going to go quietly into the night. She is gonna fight.

Shes writing a book, putting herself in the news with Prejean, Todds doing some reading for kids thing. Bristols on the radio talking about her graduation today and abstinence. She screaming about being cleared of the ethics complaints.

Palin is preparing, and setting herself to win something. What, who knows right now, but she is definately setting the stage for something

Trump is a creep to be influencing young people to lie and be fakes. Prejean's act isn't that good and she is showing the creepy side of her supporters.

Many may not like her for whatever reason, but, I congratulate Shanna Moakler for standing up and taking a stand.

Now have another that has yet to take responsibility for her actions. Blame everyone else for everything that happens. Sound familiar?? They'll be BFF's.

Trump, the snake in the grass, who thinks she's so beautiful as he thinks with 'parts south' as he lacks 'parts north' (a brain), has now presented another. We now have two wonderful role models for teens. We have an Alcoholic and a Liar.

The winners go on speaking tours around the country. They attend functions and schools where they speak to groups where there are young kids and teens. What a great Role Model example -- You can be rewarded for lying and drinking.

So much for teaching responsibility, accountability and credibility.

As I said -- sound familiar -- I wonder who.

Since Prejean was MIA for Larry King Live to help restore her integrity today (according to some sources, she was so hungover from her birthday party in Atlanta that she missed her flight to L.A.), I wonder what will happen with the whole thing tomorrow.

I'm sure it was Trump or his team who helped arrange for her appearance on LKL. And Prejean couldn't even be bothered to show up!

OK ! ME DUMB! I JUST NOW GET IT !

Palin is saying that Prejean's freedome of speech was violated because someone asked her a question she didnt think she should have been asked-- IS THAT IT?

Sorry, but this was just too twisted for me to connect the dots. The light bulb JUST went on over my head.

I get it now. It is like, as someone mentioned above, Palin felt her freedeom of speech was violated when others disagreed with her "Obama is a terrorist" rallies, totally forgetting that those who disagree with her have a right to say what they want as well.

OK OK OK I GET IT NOW ---ALRIGHT !

It just never occurred to me to think that twisted a path of logic. Me Dumb !

  24. Okay. I've think I've found out why Sarah and Carrie are suddenly such best buds.

Aside from the beauty pageant thing I found this on the local news. (They're debating whether to have a "Carrie Prejean Day" in Vista, her home town. If they decide to go ahead they've already written the proclaimation. Get a load of this:

"In part, the proclamation would read, "Whereas, Carrie Prejean was president of the Associated Student Body, a member of the Christian Club and a varsity basketball player at Vista High School. Whereas, Carrie Prejean showed integrity, leadership, dedication and high moral standards to compete and win in the title of Miss California ... Whereas, Carrie Prejean has proven to be a positive example to Vista students what great things can be accomplished by natural talent, hard work and dedication.""

Ya think Sarah might be giving her pointers on running for Governor?

    ReplyDelete
  25. she's gonna host Fox n Friends. nuff said.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ugh...I am so over both of them. Carrie needs to understand, no one cares that she has an opinion against gay marraige, but that she VIOLATED THE RULES OF THE PAGEANT. Opposite marriage in her country aside, she posed naked, got fake boobs, parties, and still proceeds to play the virgin victim card. Trump made his decision because he is all about MONEY & PUBLICITY, and Carrie apparently can get him plenty of that...he is an unabashed media whore. I applaud Shanna Moakler for standing up for herself.

Now that Sarah has said she agrees with the President and Hillary (even though she doesn't even know their ACTUAL stance on gay marriage), she better be pregared to get kicked out of the Republican party by Boss Limbaugh.

What retards...Sarah and Carrie are embarrasments to all women.

Permit me a little arm chair psychology -- Palin and Prejean both displayed some classic narcissistic behaviors. They are both fundamentally insecure and genuinely can neither comprehend nor tolerate disagreement with their opinions. When challenged or even questioned, they sincerely do feel attacked. They respond in kind by attacking back. It's interesting that SP feels such a kinship with CP. Narcissists only care about and defend those whom they see as an extension and/or reflection of themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anon 5:38 (sounds like a passage from the Bible!) makes an excellent point about narcissism. However, I have a really simplistic explanation for both Sarah and Carrie: They can't get over being named first runner-up! Poor Miss U.S.A., the former Miss North Carolina--what's her name, anyway? We never hear about her!

Early in the 2008 campaign, SP lied about being named Miss Alaska. The woman who was called SP on it, and rightfully so. And that is only ONE of GINO's innumerable lies. I certainly hope that Shannyn Moore writes THE definitive book on GINO, and soon!

Great explanation, MrsTarquin-- I see Palin as someone who can't stand losing, and can't stand being out of the spotlight. Both of these right-wing beauty queens are claiming to be "liberal targets" as a kind of status symbol, because it makes them seem like noble martyrs who are persecuted for their views and not because they're lying ditzes.

(By the way, sorry for the double post earlier. I didn't realize the comments were moderated and thought it was an error.)

    Gryphen,

    Have you seen this article?http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-borowitz/palin-prejean-alliance-pr_b_203436.html

Also, a friend of mine said she read somewhere that Nostradamus predicted Palin, she said the thing about the article that touched her the most was a about a woman who no matter how much someone complained the complaints wouldn't stick. Is this all a joke or have people really said these things. I know you've done alot or research. Just interested on your thoughts about both the Revelations article and Nostradamus.
