I thought I was the only one who believed this.

I admit that I became quite paranoid during the Bush administration, as I think many Americans did, but I always felt this was probably very close to the truth.

What do you think?

    OT - FYI

Jesse Ventura is on Larry King tonight. He has a new investigative show starting on Wednesday. The first show is about HAARP or HARP up in AK. Not familiar with it myself so on a search, was not sure which it was.

I always thought the look of sheer "oh, shit" on Rumsfeld's face after the plane hit the Pentagon was due to the fact that they new something was going to happen, but nothing of that magnitude. I wouldn't put anything past that crew.

Bin Laden is dead. I was there. The moment the media reported we got him, Bush relized the war was over. So how do we keep it going? Say he got away, that's how. Please, we found Saddam in a six foot hole in the middle of Babylon. Let's give our Special Forces a little more credit.

Let's see what the officer who led the Delta Force mission has to say.

  6. I have thought this for a long time. The Bushs and Bin Laden familys have close family ties that go back decades.
Remember when ALL flight traffic was halted on 911, I know I was stuck in an airport trying to get a rental car or hotel room, George W Bush had Bin Laden family members flown out of the country, their private flight had special permission from the white house to do so. Any other plane would have been shot down.

  7. Doesn't make much sense to me. I think a capture/kill actually would have buoyed Bush's position and made it even harder to go against him regarding Iraq. He would have been "on a roll", with approval ratings in the clouds.

Don't forget. A LOT of prominent Democrats were also on board for the Iraq invasion. The "Iraq Liberation Act" was signed into law by President Clinton with the stated purpose of supporting regime change:

"Iraq admitted, among other things, an offensive biological warfare capability, notably, 5,000 gallons of botulinum, which causes botulism; 2,000 gallons of anthrax; 25 biological-filled Scud warheads; and 157 aerial bombs. And I might say UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq has actually greatly understated its production.... Over the past few months, as [the weapons inspectors] have come closer and closer to rooting out Iraq's remaining nuclear capacity, Saddam has undertaken yet another gambit to thwart their ambitions by imposing debilitating conditions on the inspectors and declaring key sites which have still not been inspected off limits.... It is obvious that there is an attempt here, based on the whole history of this operation since 1991, to protect whatever remains of his capacity to produce weapons of mass destruction, the missiles to deliver them, and the feed stocks necessary to produce them. The UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq still has stockpiles of chemical and biological munitions, a small force of Scud-type missiles, and the capacity to restart quickly its production program and build many, many more weapons.... Now, let's imagine the future. What if he fails to comply and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route, which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made? Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction. And some day, some way, I guarantee you he'll use the arsenal.... President Clinton ~ 1998

And the terror component in 2001-3 wouldn't have disappeared with Bin Laden's capture/death. Hussein was aiding all kinds of terror groups, the most famous of them being Palestinian suicide bombers.

  8. My theory has been that Daddy Bin Ladin called up Daddy Bush and reminded him of all the times that Daddy Bin Ladin had bailed out little GW with his business failures. Yes, he is not much of a son, but he is my son, so could you let Osama get away?

The Bush administration let planeloads of Bin Ladens get away right after 9/11.

Hinchey's my Congressman, and I'm glad to hear him say that. He's smart and savvy and principled. I wonder if he's taking this idea somewhere, or if it just slipped out.

Oh yes. When I realized how close we were to catching OBL, and it was at that point that the troops were ordered elsewhere, and that we were actually using spysats to watch OBL and his men cross the river into Pakistan... yes. I believe they let him go. They pulled 700 million dollars away from the Afghan war to prepare for Iraq, too. I called Senator Patty Murray's office and ranted to them about it at the time.

As far as 9/11 goes, I think they had to know something was going to happen. Bound to. They had warnings from all over the world, and did nothing. But I think it was bigger than they thought it would be. And I've thought it was strange that the bin Laden family and the Saudi royal family members were gathered up and assisted to fly out of the United States before the FBI had a chance to interview them. I mean, not that any individual would necessarily have known much, but we knew very quickly that OBL had directed this attack, so why, when nobody in the U.S. was supposed to be flying at all, did the Bush Administration assist the family members and business associates of Osama bin Laden- and business associates of the Bush family, let's not forget- why were these people helped to leave the country?

  11. Ever since I saw Seymour Hersh's report on the Taliban and al Qaeda "escape" from Tora Bora (I downloaded it from Youtube a couple years ago - it may still be on there), this has been the only scenario that made sense. They "escaped" at night in a convoy of 500 +/- vehicles w/ headlights on, using one of two roads leading to Pakistan. (There were also reportedly several flights back and forth to Pakistan - through airspace where you can be sure nothing larger than a butterfly moved w/out US knowledge of it.) The US only covered the "other" road, and Bush reportedly gave orders to let Pakistani troops "handle" the route used by al Qaeda/Taliban to escape to Pakistan. It is worth noting that a single US aircraft - armed helicopter or fighter - could have stopped that entire convoy in its tracks at any point simply by hitting the vehicles at the front and back, leaving the others nowhere to go. Remember the Iraqi convoy that was stopped that way on their way back into Iraq at the end of Desert Storm - and how the entire column was then destroyed by A-10 strikes? The Taliban and al Qaeda could have suffered the same fate had Bush not needed al Qaeda to continue to exist for his own purposes. It's also worth remembering that at that point Iraq was not the planned end of Bush's middle east crusade. Had they not been so inept in Iraq and gotten bogged down, there is no doubt that Syria and Iran were already the next planned targets on a conquest to level the middle east.

Two things to consider about the mental state/insanity of George W Bush: Bush's first Treasury Sec'y, Paul O'Neill, revealed that Bush told members of his Security Council at their very first meeting (Jan or Feb 2001), to "find a way" that we could invade Iraq. How can anything that admin did thereafter provoke any disbelief?

Bush implored then French president Jacques Chirac to join in the fight because "I see Gog and Magog at work in the Middle East," and Bush was apparently willing to level the whole of it in defense of Israel against this perceived threat. Even Evangelical scholars, called upon on Chirac's behalf because he had no idea WTF Bush was talking about, considered the Gog and Magog references from the Bible to be nonsense, other than their possibly being references to some contemporary political issues of the time - contemporary as in Bronze Age Standard Time in this case.

Imagine how much crazier still it could get with a follower of the New Apolostic Reformation in the White House - committed to not only dominate the world, but our social culture as well - and all for reasons as effin' stupid as Bush's Gog and Magog, and who might well see the Nuclear Football as The Jesus Pager. Palin 2012 anyone?

I remember Bush on teevee standing at the rubble of the WTC in NYC while giving a speech. He said that the US was going after OBL. And I remember thinking, why would you tell your plans to an enemy giving him a 3+ month head start? Of course, I think it was much longer than that. I found these links, but these are just a few of what is available over the internet:

Today on CNN, the CNN commentator talking to Sanchez just before his show started, decided to make the comment that Bush let Bin Laden go but so do Clinton. WTH? Sanchez made a small attempt to say that 9/11 was in Bush admin but this broad tried to say that Clinton was aware of Bin Laden being a danger.

So now the media is saying that we strike and kill before anything happening. The "WMD's" must be enough for the MSM now to do this. I can't remember the timelines but I think Inspections were ongoing at that time.

Sounds like MSM is trying to re-write history for their liking.

Am reading Where Men Win Glory, the Odyssey of Pat Tillman, by Jon Krakauer. He is such an excellent reporter/writer, able to clearly lay out complex stories. NOTHING would surprise me about the deviousness of the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld regime.

and PS for those of us of a certain age, there was an interview today on the NPR radio show, Terry Gross, regarding a new book just out on the Smothers Brothers show. Remember watching that, after Ed Sullivan on Sunday nights? the story is all about how Tom (who played the dumb one) was such an amazingly courageous producer of skit comedy and music and how censorship was so alive and well. Feel like giving a copy to my late 20-something kids for Christmas...

  16. Ahhhh, once we get past babygate, there will still be plenty of truth tellin' to keep us busy. With defense expenditures taking up over 50% of the fed. budget and the red menace defeated, how are we gonna keep justifying new wars ??

I must say that although it did feel on the paranoid side, I also thought that surely there was more to the entire thing. (The towers going down, and Building 7.) I do believe the Bin Laden - Bush family connection is far more complex than people realize. I was convinced they let him get away, as well as many of his relatives from the US. It is interesting that someone is claiming Osama is dead. I have wondered, except they were able to produce those tapes of him hiking, and speaking from caves, with corroborating date/confirmation details. Can't remember what they were now! Of course the CIA can produce anything, though. We obviously haven't heard from him for a while, so perhaps he has died. They said he was sick, I remember. Thank God that we have a new administration which is operating with a completely different mentality. The issues of how and when to completely withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan are very complicated, certainly, but at least we aren't dealing with neo-con maniacs at the wheel who would think nothing of "creating" reality to justify their agenda. The point about not letting these end-timers get anywhere near the White House is absolutely critical! Bring this lady down, let her go work for QVC.

  18. "It originated with Karl Rove, in my belief, in the White House. They set that up with those false papers. Why did they do it? They knew that Bush was a draft dodger. They knew that he had run away from his responsibilities in the Air National Guard in Texas, gone out of the state intentionally for a long period of time. They knew that he had no defense for that period in his life. And so what they did was, expecting that that was going to come up, they accentuated it: they produced papers that made it look even worse. And they — and they distributed those out to elements of the media. And it was only — what, like was it CBS? Or whatever, whatever which one Rather works for. They — the people there — they finally bought into it, and they, and they aired it. And when they did, they had ’em. They didn’t care who did it! All they had to do is to get some element of the media to advance that issue. Based upon the false papers that they produced." ---- Maurice Hinchey, 2005

Seems that Hinchey has a tendency to just throw stuff up against the wall sans evidence, and hope something sticks. I think that's pretty irresponsible behavior whether coming from the right or the left.

Evidence? Well ...... er .... uh ...... no

  19. I believe it. Before the 2000 election, I was talking to my son who astonishingly was going to vote for Bush and told him then that if Bush was elected President, he was going to invade Iraq. My son was horrified that I would say such a ridiculous thing, I had no proof. I said if you listen closely to what he's been saying on the campaign trail, you'll know it too. I didn't know how he was going to do it, but I knew he would. I asked son to remember what I said & stressed it again. When it happened, I didn't say a word. He didn't vote for Bush the second time around. Mama knows best doncha know - you betcha! LOL!

Bin Laden never took credit for September 11 attacks. Why? because he was not involved. Bush admin used fake videos to make him the villain just like Austin Power's Dr. Evil. In the end, Dr. Evil turns out to be Austin's fazther. Just like in real like H.W.'s role in Kennedy assination and Iran Contra which put Reagan into office by selling arms to Iran.

Didn't anybody ever see the interviews with the British couple who were in Afghanistan and Pakistan at the time of 911? I believe their interviews only appeared in "alternative journalism sources" so they were quickly squashed. Basically the couple was there on business, the husband was a diplomat type, and they were driving through small towns where the locals were literally running up to them and saying, "We know where Bin laden is, he's in the next town, we can show you the map, you need to contact the American embassy so they can catch him." The couple dutifully gathered the info and then began calling everyone from the American embassies to the FBI and the CIA and the military, trying to alert them to what locals were saying about where Bin Laden was. He was headed into Pakistan at the time. NOBODY WOULD FREAKIN' LISTEN TO THEM OR RETURN THEIR CALLS! The Americans were NOT interested in knowing where Bin laden was. Period. So we got to chase him around for years and bomb the shit out of whatever we wanted to instead, seizing resources, making tons of money off of war profiteering (if your name is Cheney or Bush) and killing what most embedded reporters admit was at LEAST one million civilians in Iraq alone, probably more. Oh, goody.

The Bin Laden family was in business with the Bushes on so many projects, and the Bushes got so rich due to their connections with the Bin Ladens, there was no frickin' way they were ever seriously going after Bin Laden. And yet the mainstream media was almost completely silent about the Bin Laden/Bush ties.

The mainstream media is no different from the Russian or North Korean press. It has ALWAYS been about protecting special interests and catering to the elite. End of story.

There really is no other explaination for Dubya's actions. That act and it forseeable results are unarguable.

There is also the handy little hint that members of the bin Ladin family flew out of the US during the airport lock down. That wouldn't have happened without WH knowledge.

And the fact that the US flew many supposedly Packistanis out of Afganistan during this same period. And accidently on purpose kept no records of the flew out.

My guess is that Osama bin Ladin is living comfortably at home with his family.
And that the Bushies know that.

Bush himself said he was not worried where bin Ladin is. That he didn't care.
Why did he not care where the supposed perpetrator of the World Trade Center attack was? How could any Commander not care?
Brainless Bushies like Dubyuh and Sarah and other airheads have a way of letting the truth slip out, and I think Dubyuh told us something very important in those comments.

  25. I have gone over a lot of details and the only conclusion is they let OBL get away at Tora Bora and may have even assisted him. I also have come to the conclusion that they knew about the 9/11 plans and allowed that to happen. There is significant evidence. Many will find it hard to believe and I say to them, start searching for information, it is abundant.

Thanks for the link, GenieO! I've always thought there were red flags way before 911, and Bush giving them leeway from the rubble with his announcement always bothered me. Seeing this clip just confirms what I thought all along.

The Bushes and the Saudi's go back generations, they're all in cahoots with business ventures. When Bush's brother got divorced, a small part of that Business relationship got exposed.
