Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

Please don't let the teabaggers hijack "V for Vendetta" away from us. I LOVE that movie.

    Ain't karma a kick?

Keep it up, Glenn! Hemorrhoid surgery gone wrong..appendix gone bad all fo the sudden..just what do you suppose the Universe has in store for you next?

Hmmm...maybe a serious tear duct infection? Or a previously undiagnosed allergy to chalk dust?

Maybe your insurance company will drop you...oh, nevermind, have to take that one back...seems the Congress you hate so much has taken steps to see that that one can't happen.

Perhaps an ingrown toenail. Or maybe a cyst on your derriere--nope, that's been taken. The Universe already chose RL for that one.

Let's see, now--I've got it! Although it will take a little more time. Maybe you could just live a long, long life--right there in front of cameras spitting out your nonsense--then many, many years from now, you can, let's just say, kick the bucket and in a split second find yourself about to be reborn as....a weasel.

Get well, Glenn. You have a long life ahead. Then, maybe even another, and another, until you look in the mirror and see that you have become the nasty bacteria that spends its lifetime contributing to RL's congenital condition.

My husband has never watched Glenn Beck. When we watched Jon Stewart I explained to him that it was like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin -- you almost don't have to change a thing to come up with a very funny routine. Jon Stewart nailed Beck -- I'm going to record the show when it's re-broadcast this afternoon - it was that funny.

  6. That was brilliant! JS is a comedic genius. Thanks for sharing both. I will admit that GB'S brand of sick paranoia certainly illustrates the mind-body-spirit model.

Hey,@ 8:12 I love the concept of Beck as a nasty contributing bacteria to the Rl's condition, however, the condition is not congenital.

It is acquired due to poor mental hygiene and a highly biblical environment.

Oh! Thanks for setting me straight on that.

GB can still aspire to inhabit the dark reaches of RL's "condition," right?

Thanks for posting this, Gryphen. Should have said that before.

I agree with Dennis Zaki--this will go down in the annals of television history.

Both of these show have to rank among their best satires.

But neither is a funny as Dole dunking Colbert.

That was AL GORE dunking Colbert. And yes, that was a very funny bit too - kinda hard to "adapt" after all.
