The coast guard is saying they'll be on the cleanup into the autumn. Not saying the autumn of which year (or decade).

When these blithering idiots step up to the microphones for their self-serving, insulting press conferences, I want them hooked to lie detectors.

It is incredible what kind of garbage is floating about out there! (Pun intended)
I belong to a list down in Arkansas, where they are actually now insinuating that our President Obama has *INTENTIONALLY CAUSED* this disaster...

These pictures of oil covered birds and animals are breaking my heart. I feel so helpless. What the hell can we do on a daily basis to help this situation.

Just came across "It Ain't My Fault" on video on okayplayer--http://www.okayplayer.com/news/Video-Mos-Def-Lenny-Kravitz-It-Aint-My-Fault-.html

The video is a live version of the new song performed by Mos Def at the Gulf Aid benefit in New Orleans. The post has a link for donations to Gulf Aid.

President Obama on April 2, 2010: "I don’t agree with the notion that we shouldn’t do anything. It turns out, by the way, that oil rigs today generally don’t cause spills. They are technologically very advanced. Even during Katrina, the spills didn’t come from the oil rigs, they came from the refineries onshore."

  7. I don't understand why bioremediation is not being used.

If you gave Sarah Palin a straw, how long would it take to suck up all the oil in the Gulf?
