Bending over backwards my ass! I remain indifferent to Keith Olbermann. I don't discount what he reports or opinionizes, but I do not agree that those on the Right are the only ones guilty of slander, criminal behavior, hate and lies.

America, generally speaking, does not vote based on party. Parties exist so a group of people can push specific agenda through that has nothing to do with the majority of the country. There are libs who don't support homosexuality. There are prochoice conservatives. Defining a party based on a couple things or a couple people (whether right or left) is immoral. Not calling out Obama for having executed identical actions as his opponents committed is slowly being corrected. Trashy journolists are being exposed. Let's HOPE mainstream America listens.

All of his 'Special Comments' really are 'special' -- but this is one of his very best, if not THE very best.

Thanks for sharing it here for everyone to see/hear/share.

I am continually amazed at people's propensity to believe almost anything. The more heinious the accusation humans react faster and more aggressively void of stopping to verify information.

There are unscroupulous to evil persons who will smear the cleanest person to rid themself of their own characteristics, crimes, behaviors. While doing the equivalent of yelling "fire" they false condemn someone, intentionally having set them up to be condemned, senteneced and suffer damages for the perpetrator's mirrored and smoke crime.

The humiliating public lynching of Joe McGinnis, consequential death threats to him, Obma's rise in death threats due to Sarh Palin's viscious lies he's a "terrorist"..as in 9/11 terrorists is the same stuff.

It is pscholigcally damaging to the victim when a torturer like Brietbart sets their chosen clean victim up orchestrating a quasi terror attack that is quite the opposite of what and who the chosen victim is.

It is a human weakness and vulnerability to not stop to validate, verify or confirm particularly lies alleged that instill fer, anger and terror in people. Predators like Breitbart, sociopathic peole know this and play it to their advantage.

These evil predators can shtter to destroy their victim's life, their rrelationsps, cost them their career, reputation enable by unwitting dupes reacting like a vigilante posse driven by rage, duped they are do gooders. They are only manipulted and controlled, played by the predator.

For Breitbart to control the false impression of his hatred, racisim and sick mind he chose a black female who is quite the opposite of him. Her life will not ever be the same nor the lives of anyone around her.

The more depraved the falsee accusation the nuttier people react with esclated hostility and agression. You'd be surprised how manipulative a predator is able to get decent people to do unspeeakable things to an innocent person.

    I speak from experience.

    Ha Ha!

Even Olbermann has figured out that Obama is completely incompetent for the job.

I can't wait to cast my ballot for President Palin. The People's Princess!

The "libs" who don't support homosexuality are generally not guilty of institutionalized hate mongering toward them."Pro-choice Republicans" allow their party to consistently erode the rights of women. OBVIOUSLY, there are exceptions within a party, but BROADLY, a party defines a segment of population who believes a certain way.

Democrats believe gov't has a role to play in the lives of ALL of its citizens. Republicans believe the gov't has a role to play only in the lives of it's wealthiest citizens.

Trashy journalists have not been exposed fast enough because the "Left" has tried to play the game in a sane civilized way. It hasn't worked. I am VERY impressed by KO and I wish the Left had more advocates like him.

I saw this segment last night and I thought it was excellent. I hope that the White House watches it and takes notes.

Rachel Maddow also did a fabulous job on how Fox's smear campaign is being used to promote fear of black people among their right wing white listeners. Check that out as well...

    @7:22

The ''People's Princess?' By people, do you mean the People of Wal-Mart? I don't think they make up a voting bloc large enough (in number, that is, not merely size) to put her in the WH.

    Sorry dude.

Always glad to hear Keith O's rants. It is refreshing that the whole country is not rolling over to have it's belly scratched by Rupert Murdock's FOX "News" and that Breitbart is called out for his dirty tricks.

(P.S. I think "The People's Princess" has already been taken by Diana, Princess of Wales.. hi Bristol!)

Please - can someone describe a little more of what Olbermann says? I cannot hear videos and rely on transcripts, which are usually hard to find. Often I can get the gist from reading comments following. This time I understand KO is calling for some accountability, but I'd love to know more of the specifics. Thanks.

I want that Palinbot back who wrote ¨Now if there's mass murder or horrid job corruption, that should be weighed upon in a tasteful manner.¨

    Please come back.

Seriously, please come back and write some more stuff like that gem.

I watched Keith's presentation last night and thought he did a wonderful job.

Then I switched to Fox to see how they were handling it and of course, they were spinning it as the Administration's fault and took no responsibility whatsoever of the alteration of the video, etc. They just amaze me!

I don't know why anyone would watch them. I love Rachel and Keith!

Nice post, if you're, say, 11 or 12 years old. Some big words, too. Piper, izzat you?

Who would you elevate to the exalted position of The People's Prince? Justin Bieber?

I saw that late last night and it blew me away. He absolutely had his finger on the entire problem: The fraud Breitbart's shenanigans and lies, and Fox Propaganda and the other media outlets.

How could anyone do this to any American? As a country, some here are sinking to new lows.

Keith Olbermann absolutely blew it out of the park last night. He was 100% right in the way he skewered the right and the left for their respective roles in this fiasco.

FOX Noise's agenda is to discredit the Obama presidency by any means in their power. In addition, they want to discredit other Democratic politicians and institutions like ACORN which has been instrumental in getting out the vote among poor urban residents. They are relentless in their 24/7 hatefests which demonize people who don't agree with them. That's exactly why the Obama, Vilsack, and Jealous, among others, should have taken pains to verify everything Breitbart put out--especially since he is employed with FOX. This so-called news medium has a well-earned reputation for fomenting hatred, fear, and ignorance. They used this woman to stir up racial animosity, in their efforts to appeal to resentment among some whites.

But Olbermann didn't spare the left, either. In their sensitivity to being perceived as uncaring about racism directed against whites (which definitely HAS happened), they gave a credence to FOX that it has repeatedly shown it doesn't deserve. That's the same thing involved in the successful campaign the hard right waged to destroy ACORN.

Going forward, I want to see the president apply the same heat to FOX that he has applied to GOP obstructionists in Congress. They have gotten away with too much for too long, and they need to be held accountable.
