Citizens United continues to take advantage of their favorable Supreme Court ruling to make a movie about the GOP's new schizophrenic brand of feminism.

As most of you are undoubtedly aware in January of this year Citizens United won a case in the Supreme Court which allows corporations to pour as much money as they would like into political elections. Using the new freedoms provided by this ruling Citizens United has decided that buying ad space for a single candidate at a time was too limited of a use for their money, so they have decided to make movies that spread a certain, shall we say, vision.

The first one was the one Newt Gingrich and his plastic wife hosted called "America at Risk", which was essentially designed to pour even more gasoline onto the fire of religious intolerance raging across the conservative landscape in repsonse to the so-called "9-11 Mosques" which is neither a mosque, nor on Ground Zero.

Now Citizens United has used their resources to make a film pushing the meme that the new conservative movement, the Teabaggers, is driven by a  new conservative brand of feminism.

It seems that in the Teabagger brand of feminism "motherhood is a political act" and  they consider "women the last line of defense" against the forces of Obama that want to make sure their children will have affordable health care, clean air to breathe, and the opportunity to call themselves Americans with pride after George Bush damn near destroyed our credibility all across the world.

If those aren't feminine ideals I don't know what would be.

It is an absolute slap in the face that this movie prominently features Phyllis Schlafley since she was the woman who became famous for fighting against equal pay for women in the workforce (Something Obama finally fixed during his first year in office) and recently said that ALL welfare goes to unmarried women. The film also features Ann Coulter who starves and smokes herself skinny to attract male attention and then attacks Democratic women as "unattractive', and of course Sarah Palin who has used her now rapidly fading looks to convince men to listen to her crazy ideas since her days on the Wasilla City Council.

This is like the adult version of "Spot the things that are not right with this picture" The mind, though at this point should be unbogglable, is still, boggled.

"a new conservative brand of feminism" it can't be any worse than a Newt movie.
Mama Grizzlies rule supreme for growing popularity. Bristol is really bringing in the young voters.

ot: I can't wait to see Track cheering on his sister. Sarah upstaging Bristol is old hat.
Bristol doing strip tease should rock the house!!
"So how will Bristol dress for her debut on DWTS? She will begin with glasses and a conservative outfit, but in true DWTS fashion, will tear off her clothes mid-dance."

Track is a hunk, can't wait until he is a HUGE reality star! Thanks Discovery!!

Ann Coulter talking about what "the culture" is doing to women while she sits there flashing acres of fake-tanned and baby-oiled skin in a mini skirt aged nearly 50! ha!

It's a shame that so many well meaning women will be taken in by these charlatans. They will get many women with too little time to realize what they are selling are lies to line their own pockets and the people they represent.

Hucksters come in all shapes and sizes. (quote from my Dad)

Teabaggers are driven by a new conservative brand of feminism and it works just fine. How can Fire from the Heartland not be a great film? These women are survivors and doers. There is no better example of modern feminism today for the youth than Bristol Palin. She is determined and has great work ethics. She knows she can't dance, it is the spirti of the girl that is winning, not her dance talent. She is showing girls how to soldier on in difficult times. The people want to see Kate Gosselin, Nadya Suleman, Michelle Duggar. Don't take my word for it, check the ratings.

Interesting. So teaweasels consider Motherhood a political act? Well, so did Hitler. In fact, he gave out medals to Mothers for having children for the Fatherland. I actually own one. 3 levels bronze, silver, gold depending on the number of children one had. Gee, will the baggers start handing out little tiny teabag medals for women having kids for the baggerland? Disgusting. dirt bags.

Seems by this announcement the baggers have more in common with Hitler than any lies they come up with about President Obama. Guess this happens when you're a racist, nationalistic ass supremely ignorant of world history.

The charlatans are better organized and have big money behind them. They will target women and college aged voters.

I grew up with this kind of sexist sh*t back when "feminism" was a dirty word to the religious right and all feminists were labeled "feminazis." I can't even tell you what kind of gut punch it is that they're repackaging this horrible, misogynistic, repressive crap as feminism now.

Hey, Sarah, if you really believe this (not that I think you do, because you'll cynically claim to believe anything that lines your pockets), go back to freakin' Wasilla and pop out a few more babies, you insult to grizzly bears you.

  12. One of the funniest bits ever about Phyllis Schlafly was in the old Bloom County comic strip where they mention "Schlafly's new political action committee-L.A.W.-Ladies Against Women. . . Berke Breathed had a fine appreciation of crazy.

**Bristol was very, very, knocked up drinking, smoking, helllll raising at the Palin cabin.**
Who is this and if they've seen or know anything why don't we hear more about it?

I am so sick and tired of the Wasilla scardy cat theme. Why won't Syrin tell us why her family and friends are so afraid, they aren't going to say what they know, they can tell us the details of their fear. Why do the want to live as prisoners of Palin lies?

Gosh, don't you just love the imagery they use? "Shove down our throats!" Isn't that the same phrase they love to use about what they call the "gay agenda"?

I also like how they made sure to toss in an asian and african american woman.

Why does someone keep posting about Bristol and her great work ethic? She's missed numerous dance practices for bogus reasons and is just doing the show for the money and fame, how is that demonstrating a strong work ethic?

What about most people who have to work real jobs for a living, raise their own families and pay their own bills from their honest hard work? Who keeps defending this girl who had a baby as a teenager and now thinks she's a star?

So, you're fine for this take-charge movement as long as you agree with coulter, palin, malkin, schafly. (Wait! Where's Anita Bryant?) Most of those babes are livin' large and mouthy on the $$$ of unlimited political dollars, gleaned from individuals who don't think women should make minimum wage, let alone be in the workplace. Just as the bra-burners and radical fems didn't represent me, this collection of vestal virgins doesn't either.

I've been saying that you can't attack motherhood on this blog and other blogs for quite a while now. Palin and her whackos have built this whole thing into a motherhood issue. Or more correctly, they are hiding behind motherhood with their phony hateful agenda. Either way, it can't be successfully attacked.

So try this one on now: Men are forcing women to abort their babies for the selfish reasons of men. We women will not kill our babies.

Ya think they can pull that one off too? I think that America is in very serious trouble if it can elect a bunch of no-mind fakers to run their country. We'll see in November but right now it's not looking all that good. All these Palin/bachman type scams are going to appeal hugely to a lot of women voters. You betcha.

"...since her days on the Wasilla City Counsel."

Who was the counsel for Wasilla back then, and did Sarah really spend that much time on him? What did Todd think?

    (Or did you mean "Council"?)

I am not a victim. WTF Yeah tell that to Palin, Angle, O'Donnell and Brewer. Those are just some of the women blaming the media and playing the victim card. I'm waiting for this summers blockbuster movie "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Victims. Blame the media!"

Motherhood is a political act period?
Childbirth and motherhood is a beautiful, wonderful thing that is not political.

We are going to take a leading role because we are done(wtf? are they already giving up?) our childrens future is at stake. Yeah lets vote for someone who would be willing to let our children die in an illegal and immoral war. That is fine but we need to stop Obama because he will let our kids stay on parents policy for longer and will let my two daughters get equal pay.

Please someone make a different video showing the hate and evilness that these so called ladies spewed out in the past. I know there must be thousands of hours of Coulter and Malkin spewing hate filled shit.

These women (Palin, O'Donnell, Schlafly) are all professional women and professional politicians. They are HYPOCRITES both in their proclaimed disdain for OTHER WOMEN who work and in their disdain for serious politicians who actually try to address complex problems of governing.

Do as I say, not as I do.
