Did you know that Joe Miller has a "pray the gay away" advisor? Yep, and here is Rachel Maddow to tell you ALL about it.

I literally have SO many devastating Joe Miller stories to cover that I am not sure I will have time to get to them all this weekend.

I used to think that Christine O'Donnell had the most damaging skeletons in her closet that I had ever seen.

Not anymore.

By the way, speaking of O'Donnell, did you know that she just admitted to using her campaign funds to pay her rent?  Still not worse than Teabagger Joe though.

Just stay tuned.

    If one can pray the gay away then I should be able to pray the weight away.

  2. Me thinks Christine could be an up and coming candidate for AFS Ass Hat of the week to follow Joe's inaugural debut. Any seconds to that nomination?

  5. O'Donnell admits using campaign money to pay her rent;

    Her attorney maintains someone with the Federal Election Commission approved the arrangement, although the commission's rules say candidates can't use campaign money for their mortgage or rent "even if part of the residence is being used by the campaign."
    ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
    Yeah right.
    WHO from the Federal Election Commission approved the arrangement, WHEN did they approve the arrangement and WHY would they approve this arrangement, that goes against their unwavering rules, WHERE is the documentation on this "alleged" approval, WHERE is the application that O'Donnell sent for this exception to the rules, and WHAT criteria and exceptions does O'Donnell know about that the rest of the country doesn't?
    Just as O'Donnell claims that there is no separation of church and state in the constitution and insists that she "exposed" her opponent for not knowing this during the debate, her lawyer may say whatever he wants as well, it just doesn't mean that he is telling the truth.
    Imagine that, a lawyer telling a lie!
    If she gets caught in this lie she will not be able to hide behind her lawyer, she WILL be held accountable for her own actions.
    And just for good measure:
    Perhaps he's hoping to PRAY we forget about all the lies before the election.
    And lets not forget "the COD" also paid for bowling with campaign funds, too.
    Mark Sumpter - That is certainly a possibility. When are nominations due? Because with all these whackaloons running loose- how can you even guess what is next?
    Gryphen needs to click your link to see that award for Joe.
    I think he hired this guy to pray the press away. It's not working.
    I long for the day when I can open this blog and not want to pray away the ignorance that seems so rampant in our country right now. God help us all!
    The Mudflats just put up another leaked Palin Administration letter.
    This time concerning Cathy Giessel.
    Yet another Miller Palin Parnell Rebiblican 2008 Rebellion participant. Also she is running now for district P too.
    It is possible! Ted Haggard prayed his gayness away, and now he's perfectly fine. Seriously! That's what he says-and he's not the type to hide things.
  21. One has to blame organizations such as Truth Wins Out for this. Rather than seeing to obliterating the ex-gay business, these days, Wayne Besen prefers to defend them instead and attack other gay bloggers and activists.
    OK, I'm not gay, but it seems to me that the pray away the gay guy looked, well, kinda gay?
    I'm with 6:01...maybe that was the reason for Miller's discharge. What normal candidate has that kind of advisor. Here in VA, we have a super homophobic wingnut Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, who like Miller, is one of those uber conservatives with seven kids. When he speaks he gives off a very gay vibe...I'm a hetero female, but his whole demeanor seems off.
    Cooch is a total psycho, off the rails, and anti-gay to the point where one of his first actions in office was to send a letter to all the state universities that homosexuality is something that is not protected against anti discriminatory hiring practices.
    I will take all nominations for Ass Hat of the week till 9am on Friday morning each week and the winner is announced by 3 pm that day....
    I would say that picking a recipient for ass hat might be difficult at times with the varied field of nuts, but this week Hobo Joe was just an example of the gift that kept giving and he won hands down above any other.
    Thanks for the comments guys.
    Gryphen,
    Christine O'Donnell seems like a genuinely nice, if misguided person, not mean-spirited, spiteful, vindictive, black-hearted (etc.) like Palin. She parrots what she has absorbed & truly believes that because the words "separation of church & state" aren't actually words in the 1st amendment that her position is correct.
    I doubt Joe Miller is gay, but he shares Palin's view of the world. He thinks rules apply to other people; even if elected to Senate (please, Alaska, no) he won't be able to carry out his East German militia dream.
    This explains why, at the USUAF debate last night between Miller and McAdams, Miller answered a question about what he would do to address the current environment leading to gay bullying and suicides with some inane blathering about state's rights and the environment...
    Then McAdams called him out on his non-answer. It was lovely.
    Go Scott GO!!!
    I don't understand all of the media play over "I was a witch" when there has been a real story about real grifting, O'Dunder pilfering campaign money for her personal gain, under their noses, printed by all sorts of sources for the last month. She had TWO campaing managers, both Conservatives, both good friends of hers, quit for this very reason.
    This is why I get so aggravated by the MSM. This is the same ball game they played with Palin - whooping up the 'small beer' oddities while ignoring the substantive negatives.
    No wonder the supporters of the likes of Palin and O'Donnell continue to rave. They see the MSM as just nitpicking. . .and there is some truth in that, I am afraid. They totally step over the real piles of manure.
