More hope for our future.

Who could elicit such a adoration from these young ladies?

Justin Bieber?

Lady Gaga?

Or could it be somebody else?

 Surprised?

They might be a little young to vote in the 2012 election, but they are only a small sampling of the young people in this country who are ardent supporters and even fans of this President. And many of them WILL vote.

(H/T to the Obama Diary.)

  1. I can not imagine anyone looking at Mitt Romney in the same manner. There would not be much excitement at a Romney inauguration. There would be a few thousand Mormons on the Mall along with his family.

Here is a shining example of reality and how the negative 'liberal' press spins it. Makes me really angry that they get away with this blatant misleading of the general public:

Mark Landler, writing in the New York Times today, in an article titled ‘Looking Toward 2012, Obama Finds North Carolina Less Receptive’, said that “Mr. Obama got a less warm and fuzzy reception from a lunch crowd at Countryside Barbeque in Marion”.

    REALLY?

    who knew? the camera lies….

    http://theobamadiary.com/2011/10/18/who-knew-the-camera-lies/

and following that spin you might find this:

    http://theobamadiary.com/2011/10/18/a-demoralizing-day/

If these images and videos didn't exist, the jerks like Mark Landler might COMPLETELY get away with having a platform to slander the truth of our president and how much the people truly love him. Just doesn't fit the narrative that the 'liberal' media is trying to drive, now does it?

    Pisses me off...a lot!

  3. It's easy to see why these young women love him, he's a tall, good-looking warm human being with a sweetness and a joy in him, generous with his big smiles; a quietly good man who's demonstrative, caring, unabashedly adores his wife and daughters and delights in the babies and children he encounters.

Young women get a lot of conflicting message from and about males in our society. But they know a good one when they see him.

WOW, look at the adoring gaze of these young women. Now THAT is a perfect start for my day.

Can't imagine this happening with any of the current candidates, or for that matter Bush.

Obama truly does inspire people, doesn't he?

He's got my vote again for 2012, without a single moment of hesitation.

I've lived through more presidents than I can remember and I'm nearing the 60 mark and I have NEVER been as excited and pleased to have a president, as I am to have Barack Hussein Obama and his wonderful family.

I'm so glad that I lived long enough to witness the greatness, the honor, the dignity, the humbleness, the deep intelligence and the respect that he and Michelle bring to the White House.

  5. Awwwwhhhh, that's the sweetest thing I seen today.

I'm grown but President Obama affects me the same way.

  6. Anon@5.46a COULD have been me, but wasn't. It sure is nice that there are at least two 60 year old women who will vote for Barack Hussein Obama again without a minute of hesitation! (By the way, using his full name does tend to "demystify" it.)

Exactly! What a great role model for our youth, male and female. The Obama's are a great example of a loving caring family. The First Lady is a shining example of an accomplished woman and mother and President Obama is certainly a shining example of an accomplished man and a loving father.

I've been pondering Ms. SP on Greta last nite and her comment about her children bickering upon their return from school.

Uh, what "children" does she have that return from school anymore? Let's see, SHE said that Trig doesn't speak, so he wouldn't be bickering. Seems like Piper is the only "child" that might be in school. Isn't Willow in LA ?

Nice try, Ms. SP ! Once again spinning a fictional story that you hope no one will question.

PS - Is Piper going to school these days? I hope so.

  9. Beautifully said, Sam and Anon 5:46.

Especially after that GOP debate debacle last night, President Obama seems even MORE strong, steady, even-tempered, and especially UNDERSTANDS ALL THE ISSUES.
As long as the DNC can instruct people on the concept of GRIDLOCK, perhaps we can get thoughtful lawmakers in 2012 who will work with the President. For the good of the country. ffs

I think President Obama is great and I will happily support his reelection in 2012. He's had nothing but intransigence from the Republicans and some Democrats in Congress and he keeps going. He is an inspiration to us all and those young women know it.

In a wide-ranging Nightline exclusive interview with ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jake Tapper, President Obama said he’s not worried about who the Republican nominee is going to be, and told Tapper that the GOP candidates’ ideas aren’t anything new. “What I am certain of,” the President said, “is that there’s going to be a very clear contrast between whoever they nominate and their vision of where we should take the country and where I believe we should take the country.”

Tapper, who interviewed the President during the Jamestown, NC leg of his current American Jobs Act bus tour, asked the President what he thought of the current Republican field’s economic proposals.

The President took the opportunity to take a broader swipe, telling Tapper, “I’ve got to say, what I haven’t heard is anything new, across the board, whether it’s coming from Congress or from the Republican candidates so far.”

“9-9-9 is new,” Tapper interjected, referencing Herman Cain’s bumper sticker-simple economic plan, which took quite a beating at last night’s debate.

The President said, of the 9-9-9 plan “essentially what it says is that we’re going to make sure that the wealthiest among us pay less and we replace any revenues with a sales tax that would be a huge burden on middle class families and working families.”

“That’s not new,” he continued. “I remember a candidate who ran against me, Alan Keyes who was running against me in the Senate, had a similar kind of proposal.”

And here they are, 'joining' forces for our military. It just tickles me the way that Barack ADORES Michelle and he can't hide it for a second. She is formidable and impressive, as is he. What a great team they make!

Thanks for the reminder, Gryphen. Those kids realize he's on our side. It's a splendid balance against the still chuckle-worthy images you display of the irrelevant desiccated Alaskan harpy in other posts.

President Obama inspires people to be their best. Young and old alike.

I've not seen a President and First Lady that complement each other's personalities and beam equality in their marriage, genuine respect, and true love. There's nothing fake or forced, he's a natural.
