Mitt Romney has the lowest approval ratings of any presidential nominee in history.

"Look I'm going to BE the nominee! So you might as well get used to it!"
This according to the Pensito Review:

Mitt Romney’s favorable rating, according to the new Wall St. Journal/NBC poll. And there is even worse news for the putative GOP nominee. Among independents, the voters who will likely decide the election in November, Romney’s approval is six points lower — just 22 percent. If something about these disastrously low numbers for a national politician have a ring of familiarity, it may be that they call to mind the approval ratings of George Bush in the final years of his presidency, including his all-time low favorable rating of 25 percent, in 2008, according to Gallup. In fact, George W. Bush was the most unpopular president in the history of presidential polling. Now it’s looking like Mitt Romney could become the most unpopular nominee for the presidency in history.

Even after Super Tuesday Romney has failed to clinch this nomination, which makes him just about the most lackluster Republican candidate since Bob Dole. And he has proven time and again that the more people get to know him, the less people want to get to know him.

Is it any wonder that this was President Obama's response to criticisms from Mittens right before Super Tuesday?

I love my president, he is SO cool and collected. His answer to Mitt's LIE about him, just, 'he want to wish him good luck'.

    This is just TOO funny.

Are you sure Sarah's writers don't have something to do with this. I'm sure she is salivating over the news...it's a signal from God or someone that she is still in the running! What's really sad is that she thiks she can waltz into Tampa on her Jimmy CHoos and not have spent one dime, participated in one debate, nor had to get through one interview with the press (AND kept her Fox gig and salary all through her prick tease.) I do hope when the GOP powers that be are in their smoke filled room choosing the nominee that when someone mentions her name as their person to throw under the bus, said person is laughed out of the room.

  3. Dog lovers united against Romney.

He also has that Mormon Bishop sense of entitlement. I’ve read several books about Mormon leadership.

Wow! Julianna Moore is drop dead gorgeous!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2112544/Julianne-Moore-looks-world-away-Sarah-Palin-daring-green-dress.html

By picking Gov. Sarah Palin — and thus exploiting her demographic charms — McCain could have hoped to wrest the publicity edge from the wildly popular Democratic candidate, Obama. As we all know, the plan backfired miserably.

As you might expect, Palin comes across in the movie as a temperamental, buffoonish diva, who was so woefully ignorant about foreign affairs that she evidently thought that the queen, and not the prime minister, governed Great Britain in 2008.

Yes, the film version of “Game Change” is highly entertaining and it crackles with political intrigue. The acting is first rate. The plot moves along briskly.

The dialogue sure seems realistic, too, though we viewers have no way of knowing exactly how authentic the movie is. We weren’t in the room with the candidates and the campaign advisers. Neither, for that matter, were the filmmakers or the well-regarded journalists who wrote the book “Game Change,” Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

HBO gave me an advance copy of a DVD of this very entertaining and well made television movie. If you love dramas about political intrigue, this film is for you.

Julianne Moore plays 'Game Change' -- brilliantly!

I note that if this had been produced as a feature film and not a TV movie, Julianne Moore would win the Oscar hands down for the year. Nobody could have better replicated Alaska's governor with more ego, charm, sex appeal, wrongheadedness and pathos. Julianne gives a great artist's take on a dynamic, ambitious American woman who was ahead of herself on the uphill phase of political fame. Julianne's performance is simply breathtaking. It is total virtuoso stuff of a lifetime after being fabulous in so many other outings.

Is 'Game Change' Fair To Sarah Palin? You Betcha

    http://www.npr.org/2012/03/08/148133941/is-game-change-fair-to-sarah-palin-you-betcha

    Moviegoers hail Julianne Moore’s Palin

“To be honest with you, I was floored by how well the portrayal was,” he said. “Again, the popular cliché is you forget who you’re watching and you think it’s the real person. And, honestly, it’s one of the best portrayals of a living person I’ve ever seen. It’s up there to me with Joaquin Phoenix doing Johnny Cash. If you remember that movie, when he sings the song it’s literally the same voice, pitch and everything else. So it was pretty impressive.”

A star is born on ‘Game Change’

For starters, “Game Change’’ captures three outstanding performances. Woody Harrelson is solid in the role of Steve Schmidt, McCain’s bullet-headed senior campaign strategist, who champions the idea of plucking from obscurity the charismatic Alaska governor to bolster McCain’s sagging campaign, then lives to regret it.

Ed Harris is splendid as McCain, who manfully struggles but wistfully fails to keep his campaign on the high road.

And Julianne Moore does the near-impossible, inhabiting her role so flipping perfectly (as Palin might put it) that the viewer forgets Sarah Palin wasn’t somehow persuaded to star in “Game Change’’ herself. It’s a remarkable feat on Moore’s part, all by itself sufficient reason to watch.

Granted, “Game Change’’ presents Palin in an often unflattering light. But the larger point of the film is to explore the win-at-any-cost extremes of the modern-day political scene. The film doesn’t question Palin’s worthiness as a candidate so much as the cynical strategy for choosing her: The campaign needs a rock star to compete with the electrifying Democratic hopeful, Barack Obama. However unprepared she is for what lies ahead, she is chosen to help put McCain in the White House, not to take over for him there if that became necessary.

What a great response to disengage from Romney's personal swipes. I note the truly weak, Romney, does not come out taking a stand (bomb the fuckers!) instead taking aim at the truly strong person. What is Romney's position, course of action, rewards, rationale etc?

My wisdom of the day: Those who do not stand strongly and tall seek to knock others off their feet.

Could it be that Romney is a lying, cardboard cutout and an emotionally wooden, clueless plutocrat?

That video of Obama answering the question regarding Mitten's insults was priceless, just priceless. He was smooth without being dismissive, confidant and just endearing. Every reporter in the audience knew exactly what was being said, "Romney doesn't have a clue nor do any of the candidates! Bring 'em on!"

It just hurts my heart to see the millions of votes being cast across the nation, for this robotic man, with no substance whatsoever.

Even worse, for those voting for the American Taliban's ayatollah, Santorum...but there has always been a lunatic fringe in America, so that just has to be accepted.

Its the "moderates" and the EDUCATED Republicans (remember, it used to be the party of William F. Buckley types) supporting Romney, that cause the heartache. Those "anyone but Obama, no matter HOW well he does as President...he's still BLACK!" people.

The ones who have convinced themselves they are "patriotic" despite hoping for economic setbacks for America, only to make Obama's efforts seem less spectacular.

That is NOT patriotic, in any sense of the word, it is treasonous, plain and simple. As well as being just as indicative of mental illness, as shooting oneself in the foot, to relieve an itch.

Mitt Romney’s Mexican father, hmmmmm…….Are the simple minded “BIRTHERS”, going to ask Romney for his birth certificate? We all know this was never about a birth certificate, if it was then these same people would be asking Romney for his. It’s about small minded people who hate African Americans and do not have the brains to review a President’s policy so they make something up.

Lets be clear none of these dullards have won a case in the “U.S. Courts”, maybe in their simple minds (if they have any) but not in our “U.S. Courts”, so unless Birthers/ teabaggers, whatever you want to be called, win a court case, we will continue to see as dullards, liars or racist or maybe all three. Deal with that baby!

Every single time he opens his mouth, something totally palinesque comes out. He has the personality of a tomato without salt and doesn't know how to connect.

President Obama, on the other hand, A Gentleman, Scholar, and cool as a cucumber. He actively listens and speaks from his heart. That little clip is all we need to know. President Obama by a landslide.
